The marina Yachthafen Borkum is located in Borkum ( Germany ). All guests who moor there will have access to very basic services, such as water, electricity and gas station. Its users may take advantage of its complete basic range of services. It is a marina with medium capacity for large size boats, taking into account the number and size of its moorings (max. length: 20.00 – max. draught: 5.00). . Upon your arrival, the personnel at the port will be there to assist you in any way they can to help you get to your mooring. In accordance with environmental needs, the marina is outfitted with waste collection systems for the most common types of waste produced on a boat. As a result, the relevant environmental authorities have awarded it quality certification, demonstrating that it is marina which respects the environment.

The various sporting activities that are carried out at the marina facilities are available to its customers. Well connected and not only accessible by sea, it is also close to the nearest airport.

Beschreibung

Borkum ist die westlichste und größte der Ostfriesischen Inseln. Der Hafen im Süden der Insel ist etwa 6 km vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, das ein beliebtes Touristenziel auf Borkum ist.

NV. Hafenlotse

Borkum ist auch bei ungünstigen Wind- und Wetterverhältnissen gut anfahrbar. Der Zugang zum Hafen erfolgt über das tiefe Fahrwasser des Ranzelgat entlang der Emsmündung. Südlich des beleuchteten dreibeinigen Leuchtfeuers geht es in die beidseitig betonnte "Fischerbalje". Nördlich des Fahrwassers befindet sich ein Leitdamm, der bei Hochwasser überflutet wird und sofort spürbaren Schutz im Fahrwasser bietet. Nach Passieren der roten Boje "F10" biegen Sie zu Bb. in den Yachthafen ein. Die Einfahrt ist schmal, unbeleuchtet und hat eine Wassertiefe von 0,9m bei LAT.

Liegeplätze

Das größte Problem des Jachthafens ist die geringe Wassertiefe und die Enge in der unbeleuchteten Zufahrt. Die Schwimmstege sind ein wenig heruntergekommen, aber es gibt Strom und Wasser. Der östliche Steg ist für Boote über 10 m Länge gedacht, hier macht man längsseits fest. Auf der rechten Seite der mittleren Stege sind die Liegeplätze mit Fingerarmen ausgestattet. Der westliche Steg wird von lokalen Schiffen genutzt.

Es gibt drei Restaurants direkt am Hafen mit guter Aussicht. Im Restaurant am Port Henry gibt es eine Waschmaschine

Zudem gibt es eine Bunkerstation für Diesel (am größeren Osthafen) oder Brötchen beim Hafenmeister, aber ansonsten gibt es keine Versorgungsmöglichkeiten direkt am Hafen.

Es gibt jedoch eine Bus- sowie eine Bahnverbindung in die 6km entfernte Stadt Borkum oder man kann auch Fahrräder beim Hafenmeister mieten. In der sonst sehr turbulenten Stadt finden Sie sehr gute Versorgungsmöglichkeiten.

Die Diplom-Pädagogin ist zusammen mit ihrem Mann Jonathan von 2013 bis 2019 auf der 35-Fuß-Stahlyacht INTI von Deutschland bis zu den Marshallinseln im Pazifik gesegelt – eine Reise über 21.000 Seemeilen. Claudia liebt das Leben über Wasser ebenso wie das unter Wasser, das nächtliche Segeln unter dem unendlichen Firmament, die Kunst der Improvisation und die Begegnungen mit Menschen jeglicher Couleur.

Allgemeine Infos zum Hafen/Marina Borkum

Mitten im UNESCO-Weltnaturerbe Wattenmeer liegt die westlichste der ostfriesischen Inseln Borkum. Einst erlangte sie Reichtum durch die Walfänger, nun sind es die vielen Touristen, die den 26 Kilometer langen Sandstrand der ostfriesischen Insel genießen, die Natur- und Tierwelt mit ihrer Dünenlandschaft, den Seehundbänken oder die typische Gemütlichkeit der ostfriesischen Teehäuser, Cafés und Restaurants.

An der Südostspitze der Insel liegt der weiträumige Inselhafen Burkana. Er bietet nicht nur Platz für die Inselfähre, sondern auch für die Versorgungsboote des vorgelagerten Offshore-Windparks und den Wassersportverein Burkana mit Platz für Gastlieger. Kurz vor dem Hafen befindet sich ein Abzweig in einen weiteren Sportboothafen. Der auch als Port Henry bekannte Sportboothafen Baalmann bietet weitere 250 Liegeplätze, jedoch nur begrenzte Wassertiefe. Beide Häfen liegen etwas abseits, ungefähr acht Kilometer vom Ortskern entfernt. Es fährt jedoch regelmäßig ein Bus direkt vor dem Hafen zum Hauptort der Insel.

Neben Cafés und Restaurants gibt es im Ort einige Supermärkte und Drogerien.

Der Burkana Hafen gilt als Schutzhafen und ist auch unter schwierigen Wind- und Wetterbedingungen gut zu erreichen. Durch die breite Emsmündung ist das Wasser auch bei Niedrigwasser stets tief genug. Die dreibeinige große Leuchtbake „Fischerbalje“ ist problemlos anzusteuern. Sie steht an der Spitze eines Leitdamms, der den Weg in die beiden Häfen weist.

Achtung: Der Leitdamm kann bei Hochwasser unter Wasser fallen, bei starker Tide wird es hier auch mal ganz schön kabbelig. Nachts sind einige der Tonnen der Ansteuerung unbeleuchtet. Die Begrenzung an Steuerbord ist bei der Ansteuerung genau einzuhalten, da es dahinter, außerhalb des Tonnenstrichs, schnell flach wird. Wer von Osten kommt, sollte das nicht ungefährliche Borkumriff weiträumig umfahren.

Liegeplätze im Hafen/Marina Wassersportverein Burkana (Borkum)

Am ersten Schwimmponton nach der Hafeneinfahrt befinden sich die Plätze für Gastlieger, die anderen Stege werden von Mitgliedern des Segelvereins oder der Berufsschifffahrt genutzt. Im Sommer wird es am Gaststeg sehr voll, Päckchenliegen ist angesagt. Es gibt ein Clubhaus mit dem „Hafencafé Burkana“ auf dem Hafengelände. Hier befinden sich die gepflegten Duschen und Toiletten. Auch der freundliche Hafenmeister ist meist dort anzutreffen. Die Anmeldung erfolgt am Tresen des Hafencafés.

Eine Tankstelle für Sportboote gibt es nicht. Diesel kann im Hafen per Kanister an der Tankstelle neben dem Versorgungsstützpunkt für den Windpark bezogen werden.

Liegeplätze im Hafen/Marina Sportboothafen Baalmann/Port Henry (Borkum)

Der Sportboothafen ist nur für Boote mit einem Tiefgang von 1-1,50 Metern zu empfehlen. Bei Niedrigwasser fallen einige Bereiche des Hafens trocken. Direkt nebenan befindet sich das sehr empfehlenswerte Restaurant „Restaurant zum Yachthafen“ mit einer Vielfalt an Fischgerichten und lokalen Spezialitäten, in diesem Gebäude befinden sich die sanitären Anlagen des Yachtclubs, sowie eine Waschmaschine und ein Trockner. Kinder können sich auf dem anliegenden Spielplatz austoben.

Borkum ist mit 31 Quadratkilometern die größte ostfriesische Insel. Besucher dürfen ihr Auto mitbringen. Zu bestimmten Zeiten gelten jedoch Fahrverbote. Borkum gehört zum UNESCO-Weltnaturerbe und ist der westlichste Punkt des Schutzgebietes. Borkum besticht durch seine Vielfalt an Tieren und Pflanzen. Von weißen Sandstränden bis hin zu grünen Landschaften hat die Insel viel zu bieten. Ihre Einzigartigkeit? Sie liegt im Hochseeklima und bietet pollenarme, gesunde Luft.

Für Sportboote gibt es auf Borkum zwei Möglichkeiten: – Yachthafen Baalmann – Burkana Hafen

• Bushaltestelle in Hafennähe mit Verbindung zum Stadtzentrum (ca. 5 km).
• Schmalspurbahn verkehrt zwischen Hafen und Stadt, abgestimmt auf die Fährzeiten.
• Kleiner Sandstrand und Spielplatz in der Nähe.

Borkum Yachthafen Baalmann - Übersicht

Allgemeines zum Hafen:

• Früher bekannt als Port Henry.
• Der Hafen leidet unter einem 40-jährigen Reparaturstau.
• 2022 Ausbaggerung und Erneuerung der ersten Steganlagen.
• Bei Niedrigwasser zeitweise nicht anlaufbar.
• Trotzdem ein idyllischer Ort mit Sicherheit und Ruhe.
• Freundlicher Hafenmeister und einladendes Hafenrestaurant mit Blick auf den Hafen.
• Nach der Ausbaggerung 2022 beträgt die Wassertiefe bei Niedrigwasser 2,30 m.
• Früher war der Hafen stark verschlickt, Zufahrt nur bei Niedrigwasser möglich.

• Aufteilung nach Bootslängen und Dauerliegern.

Touristische Hinweise

Der 60 m hohe, aus Ziegelsteinen gemauerte Neue Leuchtturm (1879) bietet einen sagenhaften Rundblick über die Insel. Fünf Gehminuten entfernt haben Borkumer Walfänger im 18. Jh. einen Zaun aus bis zu 2 m hohen Kieferknochen von Walen errichtet (Wilhelm-Bakker-Str. 3). Mehr über den Walfang und die Borkumer Geschichte erzählt das Heimatmuseum Dykhus. Wer die Naturschönheiten Borkums kennen lernen will, wandert oder radelt über den Rundwanderweg Nr. 5, einen 13 km langen Wald- und Dünenweg, der am Wasserturm beginnt. Er führt bis zum Ostland, einem Ensemble aus alten Bauernhäusern, von denen zwei heute Cafés beherbergen.

3. Red Square Nightclub

Red Square club in Deira is the same name as that of Moscow’s oldest and most famous square.

The square at the center of Moscow and east of the Kremlin is surrounded by the iconic Saint Basil’s Cathedral and Lenin’s Mausoleum.

The Amadeus Club in the Marina Byblos Hotel is the  spot for socialites. The Amadeus Club is known for its visual extravagance , and you can party all night.

The fashionistas are drawn to the club’s live entertainment, and there are resident DJs to get you dancing. You can look forward to stunning dance performances.

If you’re new to the club scene, you’ll learn that as much as skimpy party wear is a no-no in public places, nightclubbing raizes the bar. The clubbing dress code  is a different game.

You can dress to impress at Amadeus; for women, it’s short skirts and micro-minis . Men’s attire is their best shirt and trousers. Don’t think of rocking up in jeans or shorts and wearing flip-flops.

At the Grand Excelsior, the gilded risqué emblem of an acrobatic pole dancer stands out. It’s the unmissable signature logo for the Underground  Club And Russian Lounge.

Much goes into naming a club, which is sometimes why you want to be there. Rasputin Night Club  is called one of the best, and it’s here that you’ll find the City’s party-goers.

Rasputin’s décor is chic and modern, and the live entertainment here appears to know no bounds. As clubbing goes, the entertainment here is unmatched . A regal setting, as you often hear patrons whisper.

Amongst the many did-you-know lines, Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin is a last-century Russian mystic who was a friend of Czar Nicholas 11, the last reigning emperor.

He is the offspring of a peasant family who became involved in the Russian court through his healing powers.

Had to wait for the food for 1.5 hours and then another 20 minutes for the check. Finally called for the manager and he offered... a 10% discount as a compensation. Simply pathetic! The food is mediocre at best. Not bad per se, but one... would expect something better considering the prices. There are many places to eat in area that are much better. Avoid this one at all costs. More

Food is very expensive,very pretentious, doesn't worth that money. Portions are very small. We ordered ravioli and there were 4! Four raviolis! For almost 15 euros. Then we asked to bring us dessert menu but nothing, they didn't even bothered, so we payed and left... without dessert. Very poor service for that price. More

This is a very good restaurant. The food is really good, maybe the best in Moscow. The service is also good. The view from the restaurant is great. The prices are very high.

I often visit this restaurant and must say it’s one of the best in Moscow in terms of quality and service. Staff really try hard to make sure that you are happy and satisfied. Customer service is a huge problem in Moscow but Chaika sets... a great example for others in the industry! Food is delicious and the menu has lots of options for everyone! Visited this lovely restaurant with a friend of mine. It was relaxingly warm August evening - so the place on the river seemed like a good idea. We came quite early and the restaurant was not full. The hostesses kindly offered several places to sit... and we chose to sit on the sofas. We had some wine, which was good. We struggled a bit when deciding about the food as few options (scallops) were not available. Fish on ice on display did not look very fresh. To be honest it was an unusually hot August and it is probably understandable that some see food options were not available. However, we did manage to order something and sat waiting and looking onto the river. My long-legged friend struggled sitting at the low sofa and the manager noticed that, offering as a very good, proper table beside the open window. It was nice touch and I was very pleased by their polite observations and immediate reaction to solve the problem. Food was quite good and presentation was perfect. Perhaps I can something about the food, but 1 visit is not enough to criticize or make a definitive opinion. Overall, quality place, which of course, does not come cheap. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. More

The luxurious atmosphere of this place, the view and the location make it quite outstanding. We had dinner here with friends and the dishes were amazing, accompanied by a chilled bottle of Chablis, it really made me feel as if it was a part of... the classic Russian movie. More
