Keyhaven, the most westerly harbour in the Solent, is the home of West Solent Boat Builders Ltd., a family run boatyard that has been catering for the needs of local yachtsmen and fishermen for over 40 years.

In addition to our local clientele, we actively welcome visiting yachtsmen and make every effort to satisfy the requirements of our many visitors. This is a versatile and friendly yard, capable of dealing with almost any problem that boat owners may experience.

In our early years we specialised in the building and fitting out of commercial fishing vessels and yachts up to 40’ LOA, as well as providing the usual range of repair and lay-up facilities to local yachtsmen. With the decline of the fishing industry, we began to focus solely on supporting owners of sailing yachts and power craft with a comprehensive range of engine, boat and yard services.

Opened in late December 2009, YouBoat is part of the Seafront Marine Group which now has three fully stocked chandleries on the south coast.

The business includes three physical stores - the YouBoat store in Gosport and the YouBoat store in Swanwick (based in Premier Marina), and also Nick Cox Chandlery in Lymington .

It pays to share when you’re not there. You’ll get 50% of fees received from visitors using your berth when you’re away from Yacht Havens’ premises, between April and September. Just let us know when you’re away and we’ll do the rest.
