The Boat
The Boat. Lady K is a 1980 Hughes 35. Previous to Hughes Boatworks building the 35, it was known as the Northstar 1500. She is a Sparkman and Stephens design sloop rigged IOR boat. She is well mannered and races very well generally cruising at 6-7 knots in a decent breeze. We bought "K" in June of 2016 and she was in sad shape.
