Sail Charlevoix welcomes tax-deductible boat and/or equipment donations of good working order. We will evaluate each boat's utility to the program and some may be sold to help support our sailing programs, funding scholarships, fleet improvements and other capital needs.  Large boats should have a trailer. We require a title and or registration; same for the trailer. Please sign the back of the title - without designating a new owner. Upon sale of the boat, you will receive formal receipt for tax purposes.

2008 Com-Pac Picnic Cat

This 2008 Com-Pac Picnic Cat features the Mastendr™ Quick Rig Sailing System. This allows the user to raise the mast and have the sail up in the same amount of time it takes to get a power boat in the water, cranked up and away from the dock. The boom, sail, and gaff all stay on the mast stub even when the mast is down. The side stays are always in proper adjustment. Once the headstay is attached and locked down with the lever handle, the rig comes into the tension that has been previously set. On the road, the mast, gaff and boom stow securely on the boom gallows, assuring worry-free trailering. Unlike a sloop, her mast, because it steps in the bow of the boat, does not extend beyond the end of the boat when folded horizontal. In the water, here stability comes from a broad hull form and low– center-of-gravity gaff rigged sail plan. This boat is well equipped with teak cockpit flooring and accents, boarding ladder, anchor roller with deck pipe, newer sail cover, trolling motor, twin batteries and on-board charger.

This 2014 Misty Harbor Biscayne Bay Series 2285 CS pontoon with Evinrude 40 E-TEC motor is ready for fun in the sun, lazy days, and running around the lake. Layout chair in back with bench seating and storage below each seat and backrest and large layout pad with large storage area below. The transom area has a ladder to get in and out of the water. Removable table with cup holders. The helm has a swivel captain chair and easy-to-read dials. Windshield to block the wind when driving and stereo to belt out the tunes when on the water. 1912 Alden Corinthian One-Design Cori 1 represents an opportunity to own a piece of sailing history.  This 1912 25ft Alden Corinthian One Design class sloop is believed to be the earliest know John G. Alden designed boat still actively sailing today. Cori 1 has been lovingly cared for and sailed each season since 1998 by her current owner.  Her hull has been West System Epoxy coated and finished with Awlgrip for a durable and useable finish with minimum annual maintenance required. She comes complete with an adjustable painted cradle/ trailer for easy transport. There are two sets of sails, outboard motor, motor bracket and additional equipment. She also has been upgraded to feature a 12 volt electrical system enabling use of a VHF radio and running lights.  Cori 1 is stored in an inside cold storage building and is confirmed ready for inspection.  Why pay $150,000 or more for a "new classic daysailer" when you can purchase a piece of "Sailing Art" and add your imprint on the impeccable history of this fine yacht.

Frank Butler changed the rig, deck, interior and rudder design and built 366 Catalina 38's up until 1990.  My Way III is hull number 300.  She is in great shape with lots of extras and upgrades including: Awlgrip hull paint, VC-17 bottom, Air and Heat, Chartplotter/ Radar, Autopilot, Teak and Holly cabin sole, Bose stereo speakers, Flat Screen TV, Bimini, Dodger, and much more.  This vessel has been hauled and winterized for winter of 2016/17 and rests on her steel cradle mast up and under her winter cover.  Click on the full specs and photos for all the details.
