Fun but some issues

The outside deck can definitely use some work. The boards were very hazardous with loose nails and boards sticking out. Several guests tripped over. We were also charged 1000 for damages (that is damage fee total in contract) for chipped paint in a bunch of spots due to duct tape use. It is stated to not use tape but my event coordinator did not know so I understand having to pay it. However, the boards are chipped everywhere. Looks like there hasn’t been a paint job in quite some time. So definitely sucks having to pay that much. The venue manager was very hard to find during my wedding. And I was told they ran out of toilet paper and my planner had to run out and buy more. My guests and I still had a good time luckily.

Recommendations

We had our daughter's reception at the Charleston Yacht Club this past weekend. The managers, Saga and Craig, were awesome to work with and extremely helpful. Chef Tommy prepared delicious appetizers and a fabulous dinner for all our guests. The view is gorgeous too! We would highly recommend the yacht club for any event.

Yes, it is members only so you cannot just walk in UNLESS you were with a member as I was along with some other working folks. There are two separate buildings now, with one of them facing the harbor. The room that we were in easily accommodated the six of us. The many old and newer photos and paintings of ships, both yachts, and ocean-going boats give you a great vibe. Enough about the buildings but the food as always has never failed in the 30+ years that I have, now and again, been invited in. Today was a lighter day for me, with only a chef's salad with thick and delicious fried oysters. Others had a starter of she-crab soup, for which I kicked myself as I remember how outstanding that is, along with a side splash of sherry. Ah, well. Next time when I again return to the elegance, outstanding servers, and absolutely delicious food.

In Charleston for a groundbreaking for the new Auberge hotel being built at Kiawah River. Had a good private dinner the night before at the Yacht Club.

I have been here many many times as an invited guest. Both "Back Bar" and Main Dining. Back bar is a Charleston legend. Great lunch spread. Wonderful fellowship. Rich history. Main dining is first class club service. Great menu. Beautiful views. Lovely venue.

I have kept from reviewing since I am there all the time but their new Wednesday night meal deal is awesome. Chef Mitch has shaken things up. And kept the prices very manageable. I love the ordering system. Little card you fill out yourself which is very easy to follow. I had the Chicken sandwich with chips. Very tasty and chips came with. Ever since Chef Mitch has come to our club I love the direction it is going. Keep it up!

Cuba shirts are in. Leaving Wednesday!!!

What a great place to hold a wedding or a wedding reception! Officiated a wedding here on the 18th and the staff was wonderful. The set up was done quickly without complaining and basically they were invisible. The reception room was set up so we could dance. The staff made good use of the space. The only thing I could think of that was a negative was the parking situation. But they do share the lot with other groups so cant blame them for that.

ChYC has always been great. Grew up going here. Great views and great staff. Pool table is always busy so get in line! The patio is the place to be on a nice summer night. Great place to watch a sunset or watch a storm roll in down the Ashley river.

What Not To Miss: Charter a private boat to explore the island's secret coves and beaches

Ibiza wasn't always the "party capital of Europe." In fact, the island is rooted in history, with many reminders of that scattered all over it, from ancient castles and towers to archaeological sites, so a bachelorette party in Ibiza can be as much a cultural experience as a partying one. Of course, the latter is guaranteed: your girl band will find some of the best nightclubs in the world here, including Pacha, Amnesia, Ushuaïa, Hï Ibiza and more. The island doesn't lack daytime entertainment either: peruse endless sea views and savor the island's chill vibes at a beach club, or find a swath of white sand and enjoy sunbathing and splashing around.

Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay : Backing scenic Talamanca beach in Ibiza Town, this Nobu outpost epitomizes unpretentious luxury with chic accommodations, two pools, a spa, a restaurant and a night lounge.

Six Senses Ibiza : With its dramatic location at the edge of a cliff in scenic Xarraca Bay, this Six Senses outpost feels like a world on its own, where guests spend their days snorkeling, swimming and practicing yoga. The Standard Ibiza : Located in downtown Ibiza, this property puts its guests in the middle of the action while pampering them with stunning views, fresh island flavors and poolside cocktails. You can also rent Casa Privada, a 14-room private residence serviced by the hotel with two private rooftop pools, a lounge and a wellness studio.

What Is The Most Popular Destination For A Bachelorette Party?

Destinations like Las Vegas, Nashville, Miami, Charleston and New Orleans often rank as the most popular bachelorette destinations in the United States. These days, however, spots like Napa Valley, Palm Springs, and Aspen are also emerging as alternatives for girls-only trips thanks to a variety of fun tours and activities available to groups. These destinations are also home to many resorts and hotels—from sprawling properties to smaller, intimate stays—that provide extra services and amenities like wellness centers, sports facilities, food and beverage venues and private dining spaces for multi-day celebrations. Ultimately, however, the best bachelorette party destination is the one that offers a good variety of entertainment and relaxation that everyone in your group will enjoy.
