A General Description of Motor Yacht INDISCRETION

This motor yacht INDISCRETION is a 36 m 118 (foot) well proportioned aluminium vessel which was made by Broward Yachts and devised by Broward. Sleeping 8 passengers and 5 crew, motor yacht INDISCRETION was once named 537 which was her build project name and/or actual name.

The Build & Yacht Design with respect to Luxury Yacht INDISCRETION

Broward Inhouse Yacht Design Team was the naval architecture company involved in the formal superyacht plans for INDISCRETION. Broward is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. In 1995 she was formally launched to celebration in Fort Lauderdale Fl and post sea trials and final completion was thereafter handed over to the owner who commissioned her. Broward Yachts completed their new build motor yacht in the United States. The main hull was constructed with aluminium. The motor yacht superstructure component is made largely from aluminium. With a width of 7.32 m / 24 feet INDISCRETION has reasonable interior. A shallow draught of 1.98m (6.5ft) limits the number of ports she can enter into, contingent on their particular depth at low tide.

M/Y INDISCRETION Engineering & Propulsion:

Installed with twin DDC diesel engines, INDISCRETION is able to attain a high speed of 20 knots. She is driven by twin screw propellers. Her total HP is 2880 HP and her total Kilowatts are 2119. As for the yacht’s stabalisers she was built with Naiad.

Don and crew were absolutely wonderful from start to finish. This was a last minute request as previous plans had fallen through and Don was able to make it happen on short notice and was incredibly accommodating throughout the whole process and trip. Tara was our first mate and she made the already great experience even better. We were sad to leave! Highly recommend!!

I honestly can not say enough good things about Don and his beautiful boat! I booked Don for my boyfriend and I’s date night. He was so friendly and had coolers and some snacks on board for us! He was amazing and we will definitely be back very soon!

Could not recommend booking Capitan Don's boat any more! The views of the city we tremendous. The ride was smooth. Everyone in my group had the most amazing time, and before we could get off the boat, we were already talking about how excited we would be to rebook again.

Captain Don provided the most fun experience for our group. It was planned as a surprise birthday outing for a friend and Don helped execute it perfectly. Our pick up and drop off location was ideal, plenty of space on the boat and Don provided anything we wanted to drink for an afternoon cruise around the harbor. Everyone had a great time and we would 100% do it again!

The boats are designed to be easy to control and there are very few obstacles to having to worry about. Will we get lost? Lost - adj. (1) strayed or missing (2) no longer visible. No, you won't get "lost" but might get a little disoriented at times. Especially on those days when you set out to find that cool little island you've heard of or that snorkeling spot someone recommended to you. But with a little patience you will find your way and no you won't end up on "Gilligan's Island". CREEPY OWNER.........so we went on a charter..me my boys and our gals. We felt like the boat captain, Don-was creepy always trying to flirt with the young woman on board-made them feel uncomfortable to say the least..Wecould not wait to get back to shore... We waiting over 1/2 time frame to pick us up at a municipal dock near the Marriott Hotel that he was not supposed to tie up on-so he kept rushing the group to get on the boat..Never apologized for his tardiness..The food was from a major discounted supermarket and the deli tasted old not fresh.. He didn't have enough life jackets on board which made the group nervous as he let along of the young woman hang out up front lying down alot of the boats hull..With the music loud and telling everyone to have more beer it was nerve racking...We were all glad to return to the doc

So we went on a charter me my boys and our gals. We felt like the boat captain was creeping maybe taking pictures ,, uncomfortable to say the least. We could not wait to get back to shore.

Longtime Sailors Explore Life Aboard a Nordhavn 43 Trawler

Indiscretion is a 2009 Nordhavn 43  trawler (Hull #39).  She is a full-displacement yacht constructed to withstand blue water voyaging.  Indiscretion has two helm stations: a dedicated pilothouse and an open flybridge.

A three-foot custom swim platform was added to the boat in 2015, along with a hardtop cover over the flybridge helm station.

Indiscretion is powered by a Lugger 1066T 165 HP diesel engine which pushes the boat along at about 7 knots at her normal cruising speed and burns just over 2 gallons per hour.  With over 1,300 gallons of fuel, she could travel from Seattle to Hawaii without refueling.  She also has a backup Yanmar 3YM “wing” engine with its own fuel tank and propeller shaft in case the main engine breaks down.

Systems that make long-distance voyaging quite comfortable include active fin stabilizers, a 12KW generator, diesel hydronic heating system, air conditioning throughout the vessel, a washer/dryer,  a  watermaker, and ample cold food storage.

Sleeping accommodations include a master stateroom and guest stateroom, each with their own private head, as well as a single “watch” berth in the pilothouse.
