The Yacht Club first opened its doors in 1988 as a members only club but opened to the general public in 1998. The now family-run business has recently been rebranded as The Yacht Club Bar and Restaurant and operations director Chloe Baker has overseen an entirely new management team along with new kitchen and menu.

The Yacht Club Bar and Restaurant is now known as a family friendly relaxed bar and restaurant with exquisite views of Liverpool marina, arguably the best views Liverpool has to offer. The bar and restaurant serves wholesome, fresh home-cooked food from just £4.95 along with weekly seafood specials, 2-4-1 cocktails and a selection of beer and real ales.

Kids eat free at The Yacht Club on Monday to Saturday with every adult meal, and colouring packs and crayons are available on-site, making those after-school meal times hassle free.

Don’t forget every week there is Sunday Funday and not just for the kids! Mums and Dads can relax after a Sunday carvery in the restaurant with a drink and live sports on the big HD screens in the bar, whilst kids can run free in the soft play area.

As well as being family friendly, The Yacht Club adore dogs! It is a dog-friendly environment with water bowls and dog snacks available at the bar. There is even the family’s white-eared spaniel Rory guarding the front of house with his bed marked ‘The Dog House’ under the specials board.

Along with the cosy nautical-themed bar and restaurant, The Yacht Club also has a function suite, The Spinnaker Suite, which holds up to 120 people seated, and over 200 standing for weddings, corporate functions and conferences.

The Spinnaker Suite houses a private bar, projector, audio system, free parking, free Wi-Fi and private terrace overlooking the yachts and powerboats of the marina, making it a perfect setting for a variety of events.

The Yacht Club is situated within the grounds of Liverpool Marina on Coburg Wharf, just a handy 10-minute walk along the pier from the famous Albert Docks, and an even handier five-minute walk from the ever-bustling Cains Brewery.

It is well worth seeking out with many locals calling it a true hidden gem within the city centre, and with over 500 outdoor seats and views of the yachts and boats of Liverpool Marina, it’s not hard to see why.

A date for your diary, and certainly something you won’t want to miss out on, is Yacht Fest on May Day bank holiday on the 5th. Expect live DJ’s, bands, kids entertainment, BBQ, a tiki bar station and a whole host of fun.

Founded in 1998, and once a private members bar, The Yacht Club Sports Bar & Grill is situated at Liverpool Marina and open to the public every day from 9am – 11pm.

The new sole operator Bernie joins us from Ireland and brings with him a fun and vibrant taste of Ireland. So expect a warm welcome!

Spinnaker Function Suite

The Yacht Club is conveniently situated at the Liverpool Marina, meaning our lovely Brides & Grooms say 'I Do' on the waterfront, in Liverpool's premier destination venue. Our Spinnaker suite is surrounded by large waterfront windows overlooking the yachts and powerboats so your guests can enjoy the view from every angle. Our Spinnaker suite holds up to 160 guests and features a private bar, exclusive outdoor area and exquisite views. We have a range of bridal packages to suit your requirements. All of our packages are easily adaptable should you wish for something more bespoke.

Brunswick Suite

Above our main function room we have a small private business suite offering views of Brunswick Dock and the city. It is ideal for small groups, or where discretion is required. The room is fully equipped with state of the art A/V equipment, and ample free parking is provided. The space is regularly put to good use for private conferences. We can configure the table layout to suit your party, be it boardroom, classroom, theatre and informal layouts. The room is commonly used for rehearsals & private meetings.

Long stay canal boat berthing.

Due to demand, we are currently undergoing a major reconfiguration of our Coburg Dock to allow for up to 60 new canal boat berths intended for long stay contracts.

Based at Liverpool Marina -  just a 10 minute walk from the city centre or five minutes to the popular Cains Brewery Village, you can find the tranquility of staying on the water whilst being a stones throw away from the lively city.  

Liverpool Marina has an existing close community of long stay berth holders who enjoy the use of the marinas fantastic newly refurbished facilities. These include:
