• The interior salon, galley, & kitchenette are air-conditioned areas of the yacht where you can avoid nature’s elements.
• There is ample room in the salon & galley to hangout, eat, relax, lie down and pretty much make yourself at home
• Our flybridge sundeck (the main hangout) offers panoramic views of the coast and harbor. The flybridge also provides the perfect spot to watch the sun go down on our Sunset Cruise
• Plenty of room to lounge up on the bow (front of the yacht) cushions or full beam bench seating on the aft deck
• A clean, functional head (bathroom) for our guest’s comfort
• Fully functional galley for storing and preparing food & beverage

• The second level of the flybridge has full wraparound bench seating.

As a member or guest of a yacht club, you have the opportunity to enjoy club organized activities and events with others in the community year-round so there's no end to the fun and entertainment! Port Washington is home to yacht clubs offering it's members social events relating to yachting, tennis, and many other activities.

There are also Port Washington yacht clubs oriented to families, so you'll find junior programs available to keep the young active and entertained as well!

Overlooking the Manhasset Bay, the Port Washington Town Dock is located on the eastern edge of Port Washington, right off of Main Street. Port Washington is known for its beautiful parks and outdoor concerts, “Ma and Pop” shops on the wharf, outdoor restaurants and so much more!

Port Washington was an important town in the late 19th century due to having one of the largest sand banks east of Mississippi. With easy barge access to Manhattan, a majority of sand from Port Washington was used to create the cement for the skyscrapers you now see in the NYC skyline.

The Town Dock is a perfect place to watch boats sail in and out of the bay and to catch a fish or two. But Skyline Princess Cruises also uses it as a launch site for many of their private cruises. Come enjoy our catering hall on the bay for events like party cruises, NYC booze cruises and other dinner cruises like corporate event cruises.

  Directions:

Port Washington Town Dock Park is easily accessible through driving as well as mass transit.

Driving: Take exit 27N Shelter Rock Road from Northern Parkway. Turn right onto Shelter Rock Road. Continue north for about 2 miles and make a left of Northern Blvd West. Turn right onto Plandrome Rd. In about another two miles continue left to stay on Plandrome Rd. Continue onto Main Street. The dock will be on your left side with ample parking.

Mass Transit: From Penn Station you can take the LIRR Port Washington line straight to Port Washington. From there it’s about a 15 minute walk to the dock. From the station proceed east on Franklin Avenue. Turn right onto Mackey Ave. Turn left onto Webster Ave. Turn left onto Carlton Ave, followed by a quick right onto Prospect Ave.

Guest Moorings

The Club has several guest moorings available. Our mooring field is well protected , spacious and quiet. NSYC maintains 2 launches providing a 7 day launch service schedule which accommodates early or late arrival or departure.

Fuel and pump out facilities are available at a marina next to the Club. The Manhasset Bay pump-out boat is available on Channel 9.

Fees for those who rent moorings from our Club:

Non-Members: $45 per night… $150 per week (with reciprocal privileges)

Members 2 nd Boat: $55 per week …$225 per month

Mooring rentals are entitled to launch service and access to our clubhouse including shower and kitchen facilities (including a barbeque grill) and free WI-FI. A fine restaurant is available within easy walking distance. Groceries, chandlery and other sundries are available with a 1/2 mile cab ride. Port Washington has direct train service on the LIRR into Penn Station in NYC.

Inclement Weather Policy We guarantee that you can reschedule your charter and the credit will be applied to the later date. You will never lose your charter or your money!

Inclement Weather Policy: There are no refunds for inclement weather or mechanical issues, we offer credit for a future date. We guarantee that you can reschedule your charter and the credit will be applied to the later date. Most often, in the event of inclement weather, the weather will delay the start of the event or cut it short. In that event, credit for the unused portion can be prorated and credited towards a future date in the same calendar year. Rescheduled date must be within the same calendar year.  Absolutely, no credits are carried over to next season unless specified in writing.  

Cancellation Policy: There are no Refunds for Charters booked within 14 days of the Scheduled Charter Date.  100% of the charter fee becomes non-refundable within 14 days of the Scheduled Charter date.  50% of the charter fee becomes non-refundable within 30 Days prior to charter date.  Free Cancellation within 24 hours of Booking (online bookings only).

Rescheduling/changing charter dates can be made with a 20% fee, and must be done greater than 30 days prior to charter date.

No outside food or beverages permitted without prior approval.  Underage drinking not permitted.  No pets are allowed on board. No smoking.  No shoes are permitted on the boat unless specified.  Shoe baskets will be provided to store shoes.  Towels a free to use on the charter and a $20  per towel fee will be collected for missing towels.

When the leaves begin to fall and a distinct chill is in the air, it’s time for platform tennis at PWYC. The season for this sport is October to May, and as with its summer counterpart – tennis – a schedule is set up by the committee to allow members to play at their most comfortable skill level. There is inter- and intra-club match play available for those with an interest in participating. The popularity of this activity is evident by the continuous use of the three state-of-the-art, all-weather courts. Clinics and lessons are provided for the entire family by our skilled staff.
