If you “only” want to visit and sail around Zanzibar, you may book one week. If you also want to visit Pemba, the untouched nature island with original African villages, book two weeks. Pemba is non-touristic. With “your own boat” you can sail there.

The catamaran has four double cabins, each with private bathroom (toilet & shower). Three are available for guests, so six people. One is reserved for crew. If you need more space, up to three children can sleep in the saloon. There the table can be lowered to one big additional bed. Full Chef service included for breakfast, light lunch and dinner on board. Discuss with him your preferences. Fishermen may come directly to your boat and offer their fresh catch. Water and non-alcoholic beverages included.

Pricing: Zanzibar Luxury Catamaran Charter in tropical Zanzibar Island Paradise and/or Pemba

All prices are for three double cabins, suitable each for two adults, with private bathroom and shower. The beds are 2,05m long and 1,40-1,50 wide, slightly diamond shaped. So, rather large and plenty of space for a boat. Swaying you gently to sleep on board.

A large inside table in the saloon, which can be converted to another bed, e.g. for 3 children. Large outside table back of the boat. Sitting area with two smaller tables in the front of the boat, for extra private space outside.

All prices include Skipper (captain), Chef, breakfast, snacks for lunch, dinner and beverages (non alcoholic). If you want alcohol you can arrange this at additional cost.

All Charter Tours start on Saturday 17:00 embarkation. Distance to the airport is only about 20-30 minutes by taxi. If you are late, no problem, we are flexible. All tours end on Saturday 08:00 disembarkation.

Travel itineraries during your week(s) depend on your special wishes and requests. These can be subject to change, depending on wind, weather, and unforeseen circumstances, e.g. technical difficulties with the boat. This is the nature of such adventure tours. Pelagic One is a Wharram Polynesian inspired and designed Catamaran. She is 35ft in lengh and has an unusually wide beam of 16ft at her widest point. The vessel is designed for the feeling of openness as there is no saloon, whilst still offering you comfort with cushions and pillows placed around the vessel to enjoy the expansive views across the ocean and into the sunset.

She has fully functional Galley on the starboard side, whilst on the port side she has comfortable toilet facilities.

With two large trampolines, and a massive open deck, she is ideal for day charters, fishing charters, events and parties. Every Saturday we offer our KBN (Kendwa By Night) party, from 5pm to 8pm, or alternatively the catamaran can be booked out for your private charter for Half Day, Full Day or Sunset Cruise.

Pelagic One can also be chartered for exploration trips, marine surveys and kite/diving charters, although we don’t offer Live aboard services on her, she can be used as a base or the mothership for eating and toilet facilities or even just to take a break between your diving / kiting.

The meaning of Pelagic is a category of deep Ocean Fish, that don’t have scales, and are considered game fish.

This luxurious 41ft catamaran, is ideal day excursions as well as liveaboards.  Joy is available during the high season, so please check to see if she is with us, before deciding that she is one you want to have an excursion on.

The Fountaine Pajot built Lipari 41 has earned her reputation as one of the world’s top offshore cruising catamarans in it’s 12 meter class. She boasts elegant lines and a revolutionary design that maximises space, storage, comfort and sets new safety standards.

The cockpit is ideal for entertaining friends and family. Generous seating adjoins the large outside table with more seating on the starboard side. The entire cockpit area is at the same level as the saloon which expands the entertainment area and allows people to easily move around. The cockpit is under roof with plenty of headroom to spare and easy access to the swim platforms or the front sundeck.

There is a vast expanse of glass at eye level in the saloon allowing for excellent panoramic views when inside. The galley and interior dining area are spacious, pleasant and efficient making  cooking a chef’s delight and the enjoyment of memorable meals something to look forward to.

Joy features 4 private cabins, each with queen size beds and an abundance of hanging and cupboard space. Large portholes ensure excellent ventilation and views. The cabins are adjoined with two separate spacious bathrooms each with hot water shower, sink, and electric pump toilets.

​We have no set itinerary on our Z anzibar Catamaran Cruises, as we prefer to tailor make each experience based on the time of year, guests interests and conditions at the time. We are very flexible.

Depending on how much time you have, we focus on the West coast of Zanzibar. You will get to sail and explore the Menai Bay Conservation Area, in the far south of Zanzibar, Stone Town and the numerous islands, just off the coast of Stone Town and then further north to Kendwa, famous for its water sports and nightlife and then onwards to Tumbatu Island, Nungwi and the famous Mnemba Island.

Pemba Island Archipelago

For those with a few more days or a week to spend on charter, we can also include the Pemba Island Archipelago, 6-8 hours sail north of Zanzibar.

Pemba offers a remote private charter experience, where you are unlikely to see any other yachts or tourists!

Pemba Island Archipelago also offers a variety of different islands to explore and though it is similar in size to Zanzibar, it only has five island resorts on the whole islands… so you will have the place virtually to yourself!

Mafia Island Archipelago

We also can combine Zanzibar with Mafia Island Archipelago if guests have 7 to 10 days to charter, as Mafia is a 24-hour sail south of Zanzibar.

Most guests prefer to fly to Mafia to meet the yacht there to explore the Mafia Archipelago, and then fly out again, but if you have the time, you can come aboard a yacht in Zanzibar and cruise south to Mafia Island.

This Zanzibar Catamaran is the ideal charter yacht to explore the islands of Zanzibar, Mafia and Pemba.

The yacht was beautifully built with typical French flare and class and is one of the biggest charter catamaran yachts available in Zanzibar.

She is a big catamaran with one of the largest living areas of any yacht in its class. Her bright & open saloon offers generous space and with an outdoor cockpit with a dining table that can sit 8-10 guests it is a perfect place to entertain! There is a music system on-board so bring your favourite music.

A fully equipped galley offers everything needed and with 3 fridge freezers there is plenty of space for keeping your drinks cold.

There are 4 separate air conditioned en-suite double guest cabins, finished off in beautiful oak wood with white trim.

Charter Yacht Accommodation

There are 4 separate air conditioned en-suite double cabins on-board. The ideal number of guests is six, sleeping in three ensuite double cabins.

8 guests can be accommodated, but then with crew sharing a heads and sleeping in the saloon or cockpit and forepeak cabins. So 6 guests is more ideal for the best experience.

Charter Yacht Amenities and Facilities

She comes fully loaded with activities. On-board there is snorkel gear, top end Shimano fishing gear, kayaks, SUPs and a tender with outboard engine.

Scuba diving is also available at a small surcharge.

She of course is fully equipped with all the necessary safety gear as is required by law.

Charter Inclusions

Charters are fully inclusive of the yacht with crew - skipper and chef and is full board with breakfast, lunch & dinner and snacks.

Drinks on-board include all soft drinks, wines and local Tanzania beers.

Activities available on board are fins/mask/snorkel for snorkelling, SUPs and kayaks and Shimano fishing gear for catching dinner and the ultimate sports fishing experience.

All fuel for main yacht and support boats is also included as well as Zanzibar airport or hotel transfers to and from yacht mooring.
