Located deep up the New River in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this hurricane protected port is the latest addition to the Westrec family of Marinas.  Featuring 55 side tie slips, the Marina can easily accommodate yachts to 130’ and surrounds the tropical uplands of Yacht Haven Resort Park.  One of the rare facilities in south Florida that can accommodate both luxury motorcoach and recreational vehicles to megayachts.  Keep all your toys in one place as in select areas you are able to park your RV next to your slip at the Resort Park, and still have plenty of room for your yacht’s crew support vehicle, motor bikes or other leisure gear.

Under new ownership in 2021, the property is currently in Phase 1 of $26 million in upgrades to the facilities and grounds which will culminate with installation of additional amenities for resort and marina patrons and their guests alike.   Centrally located, Yacht Haven is south Florida’s best kept secret.

Yacht Haven Park & Marina features 255 motorcoach sites, many with spectacular waterfront views, as well as a full-service marina that can accommodate vessels up to 130’.  Family and pet friendly you’ll find something for everyone!

Coordinates:

From the north or south – take I-95 to State Road 84, Marina Mile Blvd (exit 25) head west for approximately ½ mile the Marina entrance is on your right at Sidney Lane.

From the Fort Lauderdale International Airport,  exit the airport to US 1  (Federal Highway) north.  The second light is State Rd 84 (SE 24 th Street).  Make a left and proceed west for approximately 2 miles.  As you pass over I-95, SE 24 th Street becomes Marina Blvd.  The entrance to the marina is on your right at Sydney Lane.

Just north of Port Everglades Inlet, on the IntraCoastal Waterway,  merge onto the New River at Green Marker 21  keep Green Marker to your Port and Red Marker 20 and the seawall to your starboard as you merge onto the New River west bound.  Stay in the channel, proceed inland through downtown Fort Lauderdale.  Monitor outbound traffic.  You will clear 4 bridges.  Shortly after the fourth bridge (7 th Avenue) the New River splits.  To your right is the North Fork and to your left is the South fork.  Continue west on the South Fork, you will pass under the Davie Blvd Bridge, which is the last bridge before I-95 which is a fixed bridge with a 55’ vertical clearance.   Once you pass under this bridge, Yacht Haven is the second marina on your port side.

At pools children must always be accompanied by an adult – Pool Hours are dawn to dusk – Children, their safety and actions, are the sole responsibility of parents or legal guardians – No swimming in New River or waterways – Please do not feed birds or wildlife.

Site Appearance

Please keep your site free of debris and litter . Secure trash and dispose of in property dumpster on Sidney Lane. Do not attach objects to trees or fencing, including clotheslines. No tents allowed on-site.

Yacht Haven Park & Marina welcomes all Class A motorcoaches. We also have a large selection of sites suitable for smaller coaches, fifth wheels, airstreams, travel trailers. Valid driver's license and proof of insurance must be provided at check-in – Please do not move from your assigned site without notifying management – No mechanical work or vehicle maintenance is allowed on property – Management assumes no responsibility for accidents, loss or injury.

“Mega yachts and pizza!”

This was a nice enough place, but a bit expensive for the current amenities. They're building a new pool and clubhouse, but it's not there yet. We had a Grand Waterfront site, but our particular site ...

“The park is beautiful, the marina is great, and the staff is phenomenal!”

The park is very well-maintained, with beautiful trees, well maintain sites, food truck, pizza, truck, and small dog park. For those who are also boaters, it's a perfect combination to have an RV park...

Visit Coral Castle, in Miami, take an airport ride in the Everglades, take the water taxi on the intercoastal waterways, go to the beach, if you like gambling, the Hard Rock casino is nearby

“Cleanest Park Ive been in.”

I've been on the road since August and I have to say this park was the cleanest and the most organized I have been at. We camped at Yacht Haven Park & Marina in a Motorhome.

On behalf of the management and staff at Yacht Haven Grande Miami at Island Gardens, an IGY Marinas megayacht and superyacht marina, we would like to welcome you to Miami.

Welcoming vessels up to 550’ (167.7m) and tucked inside the Miami Causeway between downtown Miami and world-famed Miami Beach, Yacht Haven Grande Miami at Island Gardens provides guests with access to South Florida’s most prestigious events, world-renowned festivals, and the widest variety of cuisines from all over the globe. Overlooking the marina basin with the Miami skyline as a backdrop, the on-site restaurant, The Deck, offers a private and exclusive venue for parties and gatherings.

We at IGY Marinas and Yacht Haven Grande Miami at Island Gardens, are familiar with the needs of megayachts and superyachts. We work with some of the industry’s best providers to coordinate arrangements for fueling, provisioning, and services required for the world’s largest vessels.

IGY’s newest marina addition, Yacht Haven Grande Miami at Island Gardens, is the backdrop to Miami’s most exquisite outdoor restaurant and lounge. It is the perfect environment for guests to wine, dine and dance outdoors.

The Deck at Island Gardens, Miami’s newest chic outdoor lounge, offers a perfect environment for Miami’s elite to wine, dine and dance outdoors. Guests are welcome to arrive by land or sea, and can sit comfortably at full-size dining tables or waterfront cabana lounges. We offer stunning picturesque views of Downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay, one of the most signature sunset views South Miami has to offer.

During the week, home to many corporate functions and private events and from Friday to Sunday guests can experience and reminisce the lifestyles from the various Ports of Call from Ibiza to Porto Cervo, that make up the global yachting community, welcoming Miami as the newest destination in North America for superyachts.

Arrival Information Details

Advanced reservations are strongly recommended at the Yacht Haven Grande Miami at Island Gardens.  Berthing is not guaranteed without a confirmed reservation.  We ask that you provide advanced notice, when feasible, of your approximate arrival time so we can be fully prepared for your arrival and minimize any inconvenience to you.

Please Note: Captains and his/her assignee must check-in/check-out with the marina office for each stay unless otherwise arranged with marina management.

When feasible, we request an estimated time of arrival 24hr in advance so we can be fully prepared for your arrival and minimize any inconvenience.

Upon arrival contact the marina office on VHF Channel 71 to obtain directions to the slip assignment.  A skilled dock attendant will report to the slip to assist with docking, line handling, and connections.  Once comfortably settled, we ask that you visit our marina office to check-in.  The staff will answer any questions you have.

Upon departure, we request you contact the marina office 1-2 hours prior to departure to ensure all items are in order.  A receipt can be provided at the marina office or emailed upon request to the email address provided at the time of check-in.  If all items are in order, please hail the marina office on VHF Channel 71 if you would like assistance with disconnection and lines.

Early Check-in / Late Check-out

If a slip is occupied after 2:00 pm on the day of your scheduled departure, an additional night’s dockage will be charged to your account.

We will do our absolute best to accommodate your requests whenever possible.  In most cases, if your slip is available prior to 2:00 pm on the day of your arrival, or after 1:00 pm on the day of your departure, we will allow you to remain in the slip at no additional charge.  Prior arrangements must be made with the marina office for early arrival or delayed departure in order to avoid unnecessary charges.

Temporary Slips

In the event an early check-in and/or late check-out is unable to be accommodated in your currently slip, we will try to accommodate by making another slip available until such time your slip is available or you are ready to depart the marina.

In the event a temporary slip is made available to you, and you do not relocate the vessel, the marina reserves the right to charge you two times (2x’s) the original daily rate for each night you occupy the temporary slip.

This is necessary as at times, the marina operates at full occupancy and failure to relocate the vessel could negatively affect other guests.

Cancellation Policy

Please note: Cancellation policies are subject to change. Please refer to your reservation confirmation or contact the marina office direct for confirmation of cancellation policy. Cancellation requests must be submitted directly to the marina. Any cancellation requests received through the IGY Marinas website are not considered proper cancellation.

Customs & Immigration Office

A Customs & Immigration Office is located near the marina, however, transportation is highly suggested and can be arranged prior to arrival.

Those reaching the port of entry after closing hours are required to raise a quarantine flag and report in the next morning.

In order to clear in and out of the Immigration Office, you will need the following:

• Vessel registration documents
• Vessel clearance documentation from the last port of call
• Copy of passenger/crew list (form I-418)
• Passports of all crew and guests
• Copy of the Ship’s Registry
• Vessel entrance or clearance statement on CPB Form 1300

If you are arriving into Miami from a United States domestic location, including the mainland United States, the US Virgin Islands, or Puerto Rico, and have a US Flag and crew, no special immigration procedures are required.

Yacht Haven Grande Miami at Island Gardens Marina Rules

To make your stay with us more enjoyable, the following set of guidelines should be followed. These are merely suggested rules of etiquette and regulations to make the Marina and its facilities more enjoyable for all customers.

• Do not leave garbage on the docks or common areas to be picked up.  Garbage should be bagged and tied and then properly placed in designated receptacles, or be placed in the garbage truck, not loosely scattered or abandoned.
• Oils and fuels should be disposed of properly and not in Marina trash cans.  Please ask for assistance when disposing of oils, fuels, or chemicals. Your concern for the environment helps.
• Try not to introduce any effluents into the Marina lagoon.  Use holding tanks if possible.
• Do not attempt to turn on your own water and electricity. Please have a dock attendant provide the service.  Using pliers or screwdrivers will damage the equipment and you will be charged.  It is suggested that you read meters (if applicable) along with our dock attendant to ensure accuracy.
• Anyone caught taking water from another yacht’s tap shall be responsible for the entire water cost of the metered yacht. Please use your own water.
• Keep power cords and water hoses in a neat and orderly fashion so that no one will trip in the dark or while carrying objects.
• Please wash sails on lawn areas where water outlets and drying spaces are available, or do it aboard your yacht.
• When marking anchor chains with paint, use paper or cardboard beneath your chain to keep wet paint off the docks and other customers’ shoes.
• When cleaning dinghies, make sure you rinse debris and growth off of the docks when finished.
• Lock the vessel when leaving it unattended.
• Lock your dinghies and outboard at night.
• Try to keep excessive noise down after 10:00 pm.
• Do not utilize power sanders or grinders while completing minor vessel repairs.
• Barbecue and cooking on the docks is prohibited.  Barbecue and cooking should be done on board in suitable equipment and self contained.  Any other way is dangerous and frowned upon.  Kindly clean up after yourself when finished. Charcoal ash and debris are not to be disposed of into the lagoon.
• If bright deck lights or spot lights are to be used at night, avoid pointing them at nearby boats, especially down or into their cabins.
• Pets need to be kept on a leash or in an acceptable carrying case. Please be sure to clean up after your pets. Owners will be responsible for any damages caused by unattended pets.

Beautifully located deep water marina in Miami, Florida. It is located on the causeway on the way to South Beach and next to the cruise ship terminal. Well protected and very calm waters make this an ideal marina for larger vessels.

This place was amazing! We stayed on one of their house boats for a week and it was a great experience. SUPER clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff, and close by to the beach, grocery stores, bars, restaurants etc. We're definitely coming back again and bringing friends. At first glance from online research we were a little skeptical, but in the end it was a great decision. Price was more than reasonable. You get a full kitchen, living room, bedroom, a loft, AND a patio right on the water. It's unbelievable we were technically on a boat. It was definitely more hotel-ish than a boat. Keith was the property manager that assisted us and we couldn't be more grateful for this whole experience. Thanks Keith!! See you again.

Fair warning: there is NO public entrance or dinghy dock here to get to Publix!! This was a last minute find for us during a search for a safe place from gusty winds. A "diamond in the rough" if you will because we didn't see it on any of the normal searches for marinas, all of which were full. It's not like your average marina where you can book online or hail the dock master on the radio. You need to call in advance and talk to Alan about your needs. We were able to get a pretty good deal for 7 days and also a month so we just opted for the month. Be aware that there is a 50' minimum of $3/ft (at least at the end of 2020 this was the case) and so we were forced to pay that even though we are only 38' long. Not many amenities at the marina itself, and I'm not sure why someone added a photo of a pool because there isn't one. There is ok WiFi, they have water and electric, trash dumpster, as well as pump out service. A diesel truck also comes to the marina to fill boats up so that's really nice. It was fairly empty when we were there, only about 25% capacity even over New Years. The slips are at a bit of an odd angle so it can make docking interesting. Nice new Trex decking and great landscaping makes it look beautiful here. Big parking lot for vehicles or even RVs as well. Pros include the numerous manatees that hang out here, being right across the street from Publix/Walgreens, taxi will pick you up in the parking lot and take you to the laundromat ($6 ride). Restaurants and Crane Point Museum, Nature Center and Historic Site within walking distance. Sombrero Beach is a short dinghy ride down Sisters Creek. Cons include being right across the street from Publix/Walgreens. It's a very busy and loud part of town. Airplanes fly right over the canal so if you are looking for a quiet neighborhood, this is not it. Thankfully the marina itself wasn't too busy or loud and all the dock neighbors were friendly and helpful! We would stay here again.

Hurricane Ian was a devastating storm and caused major flooding and severe damage along the coastal areas of Ft. Myers Beach, Captive and Sanibel Island and Estero Bay and Bonita Springs. Some RV parks received extensive damage and will be closed for an extended period of time. Our thoughts and prayers go out to these park owners, their staff, and their guests who’s lives and businesses have been temporarily devastated by this storm. We wish them the best as they rebuild.

Fortunately most of the parks in the SW Florida have re-opened and have power. Florida is a very large state with over 800 RV parks, and SW Florida has more RV parks than any other area of the state. Rest assured Florida is open for visitors and welcoming all RVers and campers.

I've been a boater for over 40 years. Never in my experience has a marina failed to have showers, toilets and laundry at the prices this place charges. Ridiculous, I'd never go back.

We are thrilled to announce the opening of our first location in sunny Fort Lauderdale. Saverio’s passion for the art of pizza making began many years ago when he made his first pizzas at home in our wood burning fireplace. A memorable trip to Napoli was just the push he needed to pursue his dream of opening a Neapolitan pizza shop. In 2015, Saverio’s Pizza Napoletana was born and we hit the ground running. We have grown each year and exceeded all of our hopes and dreams. Ranked the best Pizza shop in New York State by a recent poll on Yelp and coming in 4th in all of the United States, we are coming to South Florida humbled and excited for this new adventure! Saverio along with our young pizzaiolo, Michael Maggio, will be launching Saverio’s at Yacht Haven this Fall. Our menu is made up of all of our favorite pizzas. We can’t wait for you to enjoy them all! We hope to share our family recipes, family values and our love of pizza with all of our new guests! Saverio’s will be offering outdoor seating to Yacht Haven residents as well as delivery to residents on and off property.
