Since their conception in 2012 (then XLNT Yachting), Berthon Scandinavia has been focused on the brokerage of second-hand sailing and motor yachts in the range of 30 to 80 foot, manufactured from the 1990s until present day by renowned Swedish and Scandinavian yacht manufacturers. The majority of our listings are located in Sweden, often in the Orust area or on the Swedish west or east coast, but we also help clients with yachts located in Europe, USA and the Caribbean. Our office is located in the middle of the harbor in Henån, on the island of Orust. Here we can offer dock space at our showing dock, indoor showing space, a well-protected guest harbor and any yacht related service you might need. Our friendly yacht brokers have long-term experience and genuine knowledge about both local and international yacht brokerage. We have serviced our clients by representing them not only at established shipyards in Europe but also by introducing them to innovative, high quality start up yards on other continents. This global approach has taken us from mainstream shipyards in Germany, Italy and Holland to less established yacht builders in Dubai, Sweden and China, in each case driven by the target of finding the shipyard which best suits the specific client’s criteria.

The vessels which we have built have been equally diverse. On behalf of clients we have built classic sailing yachts in wood and steel, modern sailing yachts in GRP and carbon and motor yachts in steel and aluminium.

We have also been able to assist our clients in setting up the infrastructure needed for yacht ownership, whether for private or commercial operations. As early as 1979, we created Swan partner, one of the first multi-yacht fractional ownership structures. In addition, we have hired and trained crew and implemented yacht management systems mostly for the clients who decided to charter their yacht.

During more than 40 years in the Marine Industry it has been my life’s greatest privilege to share my passion for the sea with my clients and, to the best of my ability, make their yachting experience a positive one.

History of Sweden Yachts

Sweden Yachts has a rich history that dates back to 1976 when the Sverige yacht was built for the America's Cup. Since then, the company has grown into one of the world's leading producers of luxurious and high-quality sailing yachts. Today, the Sweden Yachts yard is located in Kungsviken, Sweden. YYACHTS SWEDEN: PASSION FOR SPEED AND LUXURY

John Leonard, is the CEO of Navark Yacht Brokers, he can be outlined as easy-going, with a great passion for the sea. In 2020 he joined the network of YYachts becoming an official preferred partner for the Scandinavian Area.

John was born and grown up overlooking the sea, at 25 meters from the Straight of Öresund in Southern Sweden. During his childhood, he attended plenty of sailing courses taking part in multitudes dinghy regatta races. Nowadays John has more than 50 years of experience as a sailor, a truly knowledgeable expert in the nautical industry.

After studying Economy at the University of Lund, he started PYS Yacht Charter in Greece, Croatia, Turkey, and Sankt Lucia.

His brokerage activity started in 1979 as a charter company in Greece together with a friend from the university. The first year they started with only 5 Maxi 108 and ended up in 1990 with 50 yachts in former Yugoslavia, 50 yachts in Marmaris, Turkey, and 20 in St Lucia.  Since then, John has been focused on yacht sales, being a Jeanneau representative in Sweden. At the same time taking care of yacht brokerage.

Since the start in1990, Leonard has been one of Sweden´s leading yacht brokers, especially for larger sailing boats and luxury yachts. It has become their special niche.

Navark Yacht is an open-minded company. As sales of these boats not always are in Sweden in order to succeed, they often travel abroad in their quest. John, therefore, cooperates with brokers all around Europe and lists his YYachts on all of the world´s leading portals.

From 2020 Navark broker is YYachts preferred partner for the Swedish and Scandinavian area.

Although their headquarters is situated in Helsingborg, they have two branch offices in Orust island and Stockholm area. They are managed and represented by Ulf Mattsson and William Blanck respectively. 

The luxury and craftsmanship of YYachts

Today Leonard is running Navark Yacht Brokers with his childhood friend Tobias. They are 6 partners around Sweden with three co-workers at the office in Helsingborg.

Since the beginning of 2020 Navark Yacht with YYacths partnership is focused on delivering to customer premiere exclusive carbon yachts, an avant-garde declination of boating for today and the years to come. 

Navark Yacht also owns the Yard which handles and takes care of all maintenance services for YYachts customers. More than 10 specialised workers will take care of all kinds of yachting maintenance from repairs to new outfitting including new sail wardrobes, sail repairs, any boat and engine maintenance, service management for all operational systems, rigging, antifouling, sail training.

Sweden - country with thousands of islands

Sweden is a Scandinavian country with thousands of islands and lakes off the coasts. The largest cities, such as the capital Stockholm in the east and Gothenburg and Malmö in the southwest, are all located on the coast. Stockholm was built on 14 islands, has more than 50 bridges and has the medieval old town Gamla Stan, royal palaces and museums such as the open-air museum Skansen. John Leonard is the preferred partner for fast carbon luxury sailing yachts in Sweden.

Sweden Yachts owners all over the world have become our friends and we make sure to keep in touch and inform them about news from the yard. The yard today is located in Kungsviken, Sweden. Our customers can visit us throughout the whole process of buying, building and delivering their yacht and experience all stages of the production at the Yard. Sweden Yachts now build boats in the range of 40 to 54 feet, each with their own characteristics but with one thing in common; excellent quality throughout, and sailing performance above expectations.
