“TRIPLE SEVEN is an Innovator. We placed parts made from composite Materials onto a steel substructure. That saved time, weight and can be flexibly formed into any shape or size.” Mark Velthaus, Project Manager
![yacht 777 owner Nobiskrug - Steel Motor Yacht Triple Seven](https://www.nobiskrug.com/fileadmin/_processed_/e/1/csm_tripleseven-1_b4e78fa0fc.jpg)
In some cultures the number seven is said to bring good fortune. For TRIPLE SEVEN this is true three times over. She brought luck to NOBISKRUG, the German designer and the client.
TRIPLE SEVEN was the first yacht…
…to be built completely under NOBISKRUG’s own team . The construction engineers ensured that the yacht could cruise smoothly and stably.
![yacht 777 owner Steel Motor Yacht Triple Seven by Nobiskrug](https://www.nobiskrug.com/fileadmin/_processed_/8/7/csm_tripleseven-4_8085a9122f.jpg)
They laid out…
…the 12-meter-wide-frigate-like hull to an optimum, thus reducing water resistance and as a consequence, fuel consumption.
![yacht 777 owner Nobiskrug - TRIPLE SEVEN - International Superyacht Society Winner](https://www.nobiskrug.com/fileadmin/_processed_/c/1/csm_tripleseven-5_c6746bc314.jpg)
The client’s wish…
…to include design features from Formula 1 racing cars was taken into account with the distinctive forward tilting air ducts.
NOBISKRUG managed to create many innovations…
…during TRIPLE SEVEN’s construction. Whereas other yacht manufacturers use expensive aluminium for the superstructure including outer skins, NOBISKRUG used a highly efficient alternative for TRIPLE SEVEN instead.
![yacht 777 owner Nobiskrug - TRIPLE SEVEN - Interior and Exterior Newcruise Design](https://www.nobiskrug.com/fileadmin/_processed_/9/9/csm_tripleseven-6_cf7434055f.jpg)
Even though the yacht was built from steel,…
…beneficial for strength and rigidity, the rounded outer surfaces and ventilation outlets were moulded parts made from composite materials and fixed onto the steel sub-structure. That saved weight and time during construction and eases up maintenance while the yacht is in use.
Another innovation is the seven floor-length windows…
…on both sides of the owner’s suite onboard TRIPLE SEVEN yacht. They are slightly tilted towards the direction of travel. A small bend in the upper part of the glass lets in daylight from the side and obliquely from above. A sophisticated steel construction was necessary to fit these windows.

Triple Seven Superyacht for sale at $75 Million
By Adrian Prisca

![yacht 777 owner](https://cdn.luxatic.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/Triple-Seven-Superyacht-1.jpg)
The Triple Seven Yacht , launched by Nobiskrug in 2007, was recently listed for sale at about $75 million by Edmiston. It has been said that the interior spaces of the boat were purposed to “flow seamlessly from generous outside areas that are almost rooms of their own” along with the elegant lines and sleek design of the 223-ft. vessel.
The same interior is based on a list of the owner’s sketches and favorite viewings at boat shows. Named after its shipyard build number, 777, the yacht was sustained by her commisioning company Kristal Waters, Nobiskrug and the designers Newcruise.
The ship comprises a numerous amenities, as follows: the owner’s suite – a high-tech, innovative design cabin with a separate library or office depending on its usage and a bed that can be feld to turn into an extra-cabin if needed – , four staterooms on the lower deck – configurable into two large suites – , a completely open sun deck – with a retractable gazebo and alfresco dining tables – , a large jacuzzi aft with sun pads all around, a large central circular sun pad, convertible into a Heli-pad, a beach-club equipped with a lounge area, bar and gym on the teak-deck.
The main suite also contains 2 different dressing areas, for both sexes, interconnected by a huge Portuguese-marble-carved bath, and, a panic room that we hope will never be used. So, empty your bank account fast, because you’ll miss the opportunity to live a luxurious and secure life over the seas.

How Much Do Superyachts Cost?
![yacht 777 owner](https://boatpursuits.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/who-owns-which-superyacht-1694573704.7310936-300x152.jpg)
When it comes to superyachts, the sky is the limit when it comes to cost.
These luxury vessels come with hefty price tags that can range from anywhere between $30 million to over $400 million.
So, if youre in the market for a superyacht, youre looking at an investment that could easily break the bank.
The cost of a superyacht is driven by a variety of factors, including size, amenities, and customization.
Generally, the larger the yacht, the more expensive it will be.
Superyachts typically range in size from 100 feet to over 200 feet, and they can be as wide as 40 feet.
The bigger the yacht, the more luxurious features and amenities it will have.
Amenities also play a significant role in the cost of a superyacht.
While some owners prefer to keep their yachts out of the public eye, others have made headlines with their extensive amenities.
From swimming pools and helicopter pads to on-board cinemas and spas, the sky is the limit when it comes to customizing a superyacht.
The more amenities a superyacht has, the more expensive it will be.
Finally, customization is another major factor that will drive up the cost of a superyacht.
Many luxury vessels have custom-designed interiors that are tailored to the owners tastes.
From custom furniture and artwork to lighting and audio systems, the cost of a superyacht can quickly escalate depending on the level of customization.
In short, the cost of a superyacht can vary widely depending on its size, amenities, and customization.
While some may be able to get away with spending a few million dollars, others may end up spending hundreds of millions of dollars on their dream yacht.
No matter what your budget is, its important to do your research and find out exactly what youre getting for your money before signing on the dotted line.
Keeping Superyachts Out of the Public Eye
When it comes to owning a superyacht, some owners prefer to keep their vessels out of the public eye.
Understandably, these individuals are concerned with privacy and discretion, and therefore tend to take measures to ensure their yachts are not visible to outsiders.
For instance, some superyacht owners opt to keep their vessels in private marinas, away from the public areas of larger ports.
Additionally, some yacht owners may choose to hire security guards to patrol and protect their vessels while they are moored or sailing.
In addition to physical security, some superyacht owners also use technology to keep their vessels out of the public eye.
For example, a yacht owner may choose to install a satellite-based communications system that allows them to keep their vessel completely off-radar.
This system works by bouncing signals off satellites rather than transmitting them, making it virtually impossible for anyone to track the yachts movements.
Finally, some superyacht owners also choose to limit the number of people who have access to their vessels.
For instance, the owner may only allow family members and close friends to board the yacht.
Additionally, the owner may choose to employ a limited number of staff to help maintain the vessel and keep it running smoothly.
These individuals may be required to sign non-disclosure agreements to ensure they do not disclose any information about the yacht or its owner.
Overall, while some superyacht owners may choose to keep their vessels out of the public eye, there are still plenty of other ways to show off the opulence associated with owning a superyacht.
From swimming pools and helicopter pads to on-board cinemas and spas, there are many luxurious amenities that can make a superyacht the envy of any jet setter.
Final Thoughts
Superyachts are a symbol of luxury and status, and the list of yacht owners reads like a who’s who of billionaires.
From the Emir of Qatar’s world-record breaking $400 million yacht to Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen’s vessel with a helicopter pad and on-board spa, the amenities of these luxury vessels are truly stunning.
With prices ranging from $30 million to over $400 million, owning a superyacht is an expensive endeavor.
Whether you’re looking to purchase one or just curious to learn more about the owners and their amenities, this guide will provide you with all the information you need to stay up to date with the superyacht scene.

MOGUL 777: THE 77m SUPERYACHT CONCEPT FROM THE YACHTMOGUL IN COLLABORATION WITH ABBASLI DESIGN
Yachting influencer Denis Suka, better known as TheYachtMogul, has teamed up with Abbasli Design to present a 77.7 metre superyacht concept named Mogul 777.
The Mogul 777 is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and is equipped with a number of cool features, including a glass-bottomed aquarium that hangs over the beach club, a fire pit on the upper deck and a touch-and-go helipad on the bow. Its exterior is sporty with triangular windows along the hull and the concept "aims to connect to connect owner and the quests with nature and the sea."
The main deck features two L-shaped sofas that sit to either side of the central aquarium that floods the beach club below with natural light. Large panels of glass on three sides contribute to the “open feel” of the beach club, creating an indoor-outdoor experience for guests who wish to make use of its swimming pool (which comes with its own waterfall).
For guests who prefer to start the day with a swim in the sea, two fold-down terraces offer direct access to the ocean, or alternatively, a hydraulic swim platform drops down to water level from the stern.
According to Suka, the best part of the yacht is the large social area aft of the upper deck where the owner can "host parties and spend time with friends and family”. The space features ample seating made up of day beds, sun pads and a central fire pit surrounded by curved sofas.
Elsewhere, a helipad can be found on the foredeck and sits forward of a dedicated owner’s swimming pool - the second pool on board - flanked on either side by sun pads. Up on the sundeck, a Jacuzzi completes the water features on board alongside additional seating and sun loungers.
Making use of its 14 metre beam, Mogul 777 is set to have accommodation for 18 guests in nine cabins, including a master suite situated on the private owner’s deck with panoramic views and access to the private pool.
The Mogul 777 will have an estimated top speed of 17 knots.

WGS 84 coordinate reference system is the latest revision of the World Geodetic System, which is used in mapping and navigation, including GPS satellite navigation system (the Global Positioning System).
Geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) define a position on the Earth’s surface. Coordinates are angular units. The canonical form of latitude and longitude representation uses degrees (°), minutes (′), and seconds (″). GPS systems widely use coordinates in degrees and decimal minutes, or in decimal degrees.
Latitude varies from −90° to 90°. The latitude of the Equator is 0°; the latitude of the South Pole is −90°; the latitude of the North Pole is 90°. Positive latitude values correspond to the geographic locations north of the Equator (abbrev. N). Negative latitude values correspond to the geographic locations south of the Equator (abbrev. S).
Longitude is counted from the prime meridian ( IERS Reference Meridian for WGS 84) and varies from −180° to 180°. Positive longitude values correspond to the geographic locations east of the prime meridian (abbrev. E). Negative longitude values correspond to the geographic locations west of the prime meridian (abbrev. W).
UTM or Universal Transverse Mercator coordinate system divides the Earth’s surface into 60 longitudinal zones. The coordinates of a location within each zone are defined as a planar coordinate pair related to the intersection of the equator and the zone’s central meridian, and measured in meters.
Elevation above sea level is a measure of a geographic location’s height. We are using the global digital elevation model GTOPO30 .
