All Decked Out
Athos’ latest transformation gave her a 1.55m extension at the stern and allowed for a completely reconfigured cockpit, with a vast sunbed area and bar for lazy days spent under the sun and seating for up to 12 guests in dining or coffee table configuration. New booms, carbon rigging and a brand-new set of North Sails ensure exhilarating days under sail, with the excitement continuing while the yacht is at anchor, thanks to a brand-new custom X craft tender and vast collection of toys.

Athos’ original designers Hoek were brought back for her latest transformation, bringing with them their ‘classic above/modern below” approach to yacht design. Rich woods, soft, tactile fabrics and a calming colour palette of blues, greens and neutrals create spaces that are both modern and inviting. Whether socialising in the well-appointed upper salon or curling up in the newly installed media room with its 68” screen, guests will feel completely at home whilst on board.

Families will particularly love Athos thanks to her child-friendly setup. Built in 2010, She offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests with a layout comprising three double cabins and two twin cabins. There are 7 beds in total, including 1 king, 2 doubles, 4 singles and 2 pullmans. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Athos is built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure. Powered by twin Volvo engines, she comfortably cruises at 10 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots.
Onboard Athos has a range of toys and accessories to keep you and your guests entertained on the water throughout your stay. Principle among these are two Optimist sailboats to bring out the explorer in you. Another excellent feature are towable toys offering fun and adventure. Also there are three waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. If that isn't enough Athos also features wakeboards, fishing equipment, scuba diving equipment and inflatable water toys. Athos features two tenders, but leading the pack is a 6.2m/20'4" Naiad Tender to transport you in style.

ATHOS Yacht for Charter
Holland Jachtbouw’s 203 (62m) ailing yacht ATHOS is a beautiful classic sailing yacht with an atmosphere of fun.
ATHOS can accommodate up to 10 guests in five exceptionally appointed cabins. Her master suite is finished in sumptuous mahogany and offers a king-size double bed, a desk, daybed for lounging and a settee. Her en-suite bath has a shower/steam room and his-and-hers sinks. The master is connected to a private aft deckhouse with secluded seating space and daybed. It also has a private office. This space opens to a sheltered cockpit with adjustable table. Four additional guest cabins are finished in various woods, giving each a unique ambience and flair. Each also has an en-suite bath.
The main salon feels like home with a fireplace and comfortable seating. Starboard, the deckhouse has a large dining table to accommodate up to 12 guests. To port a coffee table and cozy seating area is a sublime spot for morning coffees and teas. A bar forward is a favorite guest space.
Outdoors, the cockpit dining space offers spectacular views during an alfresco meal. The master cockpit can be turned into secluded massage table.

The LEOPARD 32 ATHOS is a sporty and fast 32.2 meter yacht. With construction started in 2007, the yacht remained in the yard, finished and registered in 2011; the major REFIT work described below and the boat's excellent condition make it a unique yacht.
Athos's exterior spaces are well liveable thanks to a large and well-designed aft area, a cosy sunbathing area in the bow, and a recently refurbished fly bridge with sunbathing accommodations, Jacuzzi and large sofa with table. Inside, Athos offers with its 5 cabins and 5 bathrooms high-class accommodation for 11 people: downstairs the master cabin, the VIP cabin and two cabins, one with a double bed and one with two beds plus pullman bed. Upstairs, the new cabin with double bed. The saloon with dining, lounge and original bar counter is well lived in and welcoming.
Downstairs, towards the stern, are the galley and 2 crew cabins.
All on-board equipment, furnishings and fittings, the Williams tender the Jet Ski and numerous toys including 2 Sea Bobs are sold with the boat and are included in the price.
In the years 2022 and 2023, major conversion work was carried out on the boat with the aim of making Athos a modern and efficient yacht.
They were of two orders:
- Work aimed at improving and beautifying the interior and exterior accommodations: the main ones included the construction of the 5th cabin, the transformation of the FLY Bridge and the replacement of the old dark furnishings with bleached oak panelling.
- Highly complex works and equipment replacements aimed at making systems and equipment definitively modern and efficient: they touched on all the technical aspects of the ship: electrical, from generators to switchboards to plant engineering; navigation with replacement of all equipment; mechanical from main engines to their plotters to propulsion systems; air conditioning and refrigeration from main engines to peripheral equipment; trim regulators made automatic and efficient; general monitoring system.

MAINTENANCE
As it is a class vessel, all the checks required by the Certifying Body are carried out annually and every 5 years the components are completely overhauled.
The boat is stored under cover during the six months of winter, during which time the necessary work and repairs are carried out on the hull, equipment and fittings to keep it in full working order.
Il LEOPARD 32 ATHOS è una nave da diporto di 32,2 metri sportiva e veloce. Con costruzione iniziata nel 2007, lo yacht è rimasto in cantiere, terminato e immatricolato nel 2011; gli importanti lavori di REFIT di seguito illustrati e le ottime condizioni della barca, ne fanno uno yacht unico nel suo genere.
Gli spazi esterni di Athos sono ben vivibili grazie ad un’ampia e ben studiata zona di poppa, un’accogliente zona sole a prua, ed un fly bridge, recentemente ristrutturato, con sistemazioni prendisole, vasca idromassaggio e ampio divano con tavolo. All’interno, Athos offre con le sue 5 cabine e 5 bagni sistemazioni di gran classe per 11 persone: al piano inferiore la cabina armatoriale, la cabina vip e due cabine una con letto matrimoniale ed una con due letti più letto pullman. Al piano superiore, la nuova cabina con letto matrimoniale. Il salone con pranzo, salotto e originale banco bar è ben vivibile ed accogliente.
Al piano inferiore, verso poppa si trovano la cucina e le 2 cabine equipaggio.
Tutte le dotazioni, arredi e suppellettili di bordo, il tender Williams la Moto d’Acqua e i numerosi giochi compresi 2 Sea Bob vengono venduti insieme alla barca, e sono compresi nel prezzo.
Negli anni 2022 e 2023 sono stati eseguiti importanti lavori di trasformazione della barca aventi l’obiettivo di rendere Athos uno yacht moderno ed efficiente.
Essi sono stati di due ordini:
- Lavori volti a migliorare ed abbellire le sistemazioni interne ed esterne: tra le principali, la costruzione della 5^ cabina, la trasformazione del FLY Bridge e la sostituzione dei vecchi arredi scuri con rivestimenti in rovere sbiancato.
- Lavori molto complessi e sostituzioni di apparati volti a rendere definitivamente moderni ed efficienti impianti ed apparecchiature: essi hanno toccato tutti gli aspetti tecnici della nave: elettrico, dai generatori ai quadri elettrici all’impiantistica; navigazione con sostituzione di tutte le apparecchiature; meccanici dai motori principali ai relativi plotter ai sistemi di propulsione; condizionamento e frigoriferi dai motori principali alle apparecchiature periferiche; regolatori di assetto resi automatici ed efficienti; sistema di monitoraggio generale.

MANUTENZIONI
Trattandosi di nave in classe, vengono eseguiti annualmente tutti i controlli previsti dall’Ente Certificatore che ogni 5 anni controlla la revisione completa delle componenti.
La barca viene rimessata al coperto nei sei mesi invernali, durante i quali vengono effettuati allo scafo, alle apparecchiature e alle sistemazioni i lavori e le riparazioni necessari a mantenerla in piena efficienza.

- Improvement and embellishment works on the accommodation: - Construction of the 5th cabin on the upper deck - Renovation of the interior walls and furnishings with bleached oak essence - Transformation of the flybridge - Renovation of the forward sun area - Replacement of the sound systems, with new equipment and speakers - Replacement of the interior and exterior lighting system with new equipment and LED lights - Replacement of upholstery.
- Work to modernise and improve the efficiency of the systems and equipment with overhaul and replacement of many items of equipment: - ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: complete overhaul of the two 45 KW generators and modernisation of their coupling panel. and replacement of the two electrical machines of the same - overhaul of the general electrical panel and the entire system in the various sub-panels of the ship with replacement of many items - MAIN ENGINES: check of the engines and work where necessary. Replacement of the bridge plotters.  “The 55S is an amazing boat, and it’s been an amazing boat for our family,” Brady said at the time. “I think the 77 will be a little bit more suited for what we need it for down here, which is a few more day trips and weekend trips.” The 77 is not only 22 feet longer than the 55S but wider, more voluminous, and more complex, meaning it is fit for offshore cruising not just bay hopping. The 77-footer, which Brady christened Viva la Vida , features a sleek, sculpted exterior by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design and a high-speed planing hull by Van Oossanen Naval Architects. It is also equipped with three 900 hp Volvo Penta IPS engines that enable a cruising speed of 30 knots, a top speed of 37 knots, and a range of 400 nautical miles. The luxurious interior is fit for football royalty, with whitewashed oak and rich leather details. Three plush cabins offer space for up to nine guests, with the expansive owner’s suite spanning some 16 feet from wall to wall. The living quarters also include a well-appointed galley, generous crew quarters, and a high-tech helm similar to a fighter jet’s. The exterior offers plenty of space for relaxing and entertaining, with sun pads to the front, circular seating amidship, and large sofas at the back.  63m schooner Athos pictured following major refit and extensionThe results of an extensive 14-month refit of the two-masted schooner Athos have been revealed for the first time in a selection of exclusive images. The BOAT International June issue cover star was spotted leaving Huisfit, the refit branch of Royal Huisman , in November last year with a 1.25-metre extension to the stern, a reconfigured deck and a total rebuild of the interior. The yacht, now measuring 63.2 metres, arrived at the Huisfit facility in Amsterdam in September 2021 and has had up to 50 people working on her at any one time. She was originally launched by Holland Jachtbouw in 2010 with design by Hoek Design Naval Architects and remains the flagship of the Dutch shipyard. For the refit, Hoek Design once again stepped in to oversee the naval architecture, interior styling and layout changes of the guest accommodation, main saloon, crew service areas and navigational deckhouse. The extension was a key component of the refit and involved the careful reconstruction of the yacht's aluminium hull. “It involved seven metres of metalwork to the hull and new structure on deck,” said Huisfit manager Stefan Coronel. “But all of us involved with the project knew how much the owner loved the original look of the boat, and the new elements needed to look like they had always been there and integrate perfectly with the original parts.” The additional length allowed for a completely reconfigured owner's cockpit with a two-metre sunbed area and a new teak transom that contains the yacht's original hydraulic stern boarding ladder. The main cockpit area has also been enlarged to create a well-appointed space, including seating for up to 16 guests with flexible tables that can function as coffee tables or dining tables. The flow of the area has been improved too, with easier access to amenities - including a new bar with a fridge and icemaker. Athos's two deckhouses have undergone significant changes to the layout and modification. The owner's deckhouse on the stern has been overhauled with a new configuration and style. The main deckhouse floor has been raised to one level and redesigned with a focus on natural light, with the addition of a classic-looking bar and sofa seating. Further forward, the former crew companionway has been replaced by a larger, third deckhouse that is styled and crafted in the same way as the other two. This new deckhouse allows space to house a new navigation and secondary steering station, which, in turn, offers an additional social area for the crew below deck. In terms of lower deck changes, the owner's deck has been ripped out and replaced with additional portholes on both bulkheads. In a bid to create a warmer and more inviting ambience, hard panelling has been replaced by soft fabrics and planked wood flooring has been carpeted. The en suite has been divided into two and a walk-in wardrobe has been fitted as well. Modifications can also be seen in the remaining guest accommodation, with new carpeting and upholstery throughout. A chandelier has been added to the corridor connecting the cabins and the original staircase has been replaced with a new space-saving stairway. Removing a dayhead made room for a queen berth and more floor space in one cabin, but otherwise each cabin retains its layout and its original, distinct joinery in cherry, pear, maple or anigre wood. Elsewhere, the yacht has been given a cosy media room and an upgraded galley, which was completely rebuilt with new appliances in line with modern, professional-grade galleys. In the crew quarters, the laundry has all-new appliances, the crew cabins have new floors and the crew mess has enjoyed the benefit of new worktops. In terms of performance, Athos has received new booms, new sails and new carbon rigging to ensure improved sail management and performance. Other enhancements include all-new navigation, alarm and safety systems and new lighting throughout. New audio-visual equipment has been fitted and the yacht's tender has also been rebuilt, with a second tender added. Project manager Jeremy “Bear” Wynne from Wynne Projects Ltd. praised the quality of Huisfit's work. "The multiple modifications have been beautifully done. The attention to detail and finish is excellent. The additions and modifications have not only improved the functionality of the yacht, they have also enhanced the appearance," he said.
