I visited this restaurant on a Sunday night with family. At first the ambience and interior was brilliant. Soon after we sat down a band started playing. The music the band was playing was good (nothing exceptional). The issue was the volume of the music, it was unbearably loud. When we approached the waiter to decrease the volume, we were told that it wasn't possible to decrease the volume. So, we approached the manager and told him that either decrease the volume or make our bill. The manager wasn't helpful at all and said he can't decrease the volume and we're free to leave. While waiting for the bill the manager told us in a very rude fashion told us that this restaurant isn't fine-dine, it's a club. After that I questioned him if it's a club why are there 5 year olds running around. After that he became extremely rude and said that's not up to them. What? Right of admission isn't reserved with the management! Please don't visit this restaurant on a weekend with the band playing, otherwise you'll find yourself seeking refuge from the music in the washroom. I hope the management reads this review and reaches out to me with an apology regarding the behavior of the staff. More

I have had interesting experiences while traveling but none beats this one !! Its like the old joke about the car where every part but the horn makes noise . The whole experience was bizarre from the time i stepped in. Since it was the day after diwali there was just one staff member in the hotel, yes just one and believe it or not he had joined the previous day so he knew nothing about anything. We checked in the room and then realized that the key to the room was missing so the only way we could enter the room was by the master key and in no mood to change the room i demanded that master key be given to me and the poor guy obliged so now i had access to all the rooms in the hotels. So much for security of other guests !!! but i realized soon that i was the only guest in the room. The room wasnt bad with modern fittings, most of them working . There was no facility for breakfast as there was no staff. wish they had told me at the time of booking. The hotel has a pub downstairs so you do get a thumping music till late night. The stay was uneventful but at the time of checkout the credit card machine didnt work so i had to pay cash and then off course the poor guy in his third day of work had no clue how to print the bill so we had to wait for re enforcements to arrive so that my bill can be made. A hotel is not a building alone. Its the service, quality of staff and the experience that matters. I hope Millionaire suites realizes that.

We have booked 2 rooms for our family guests in this hotel for 4 nights and I must say this is one of our worst stays. Rooms - Rooms are newly built with 3 star facilities like LCD, Fridge, Split AC and Electric Kettle but basic hygiene is NOT even taken care off like replacing bed linens, mopping of floor, bathroom cleaning and other basic housekeeping even after repeated reminders hence facilities doesn't mean anything. We reached our room at 11:30 p.m. in night and even room was not ready. On complaining they sent security staff to get the room ready. We noticed that they don't have dedicated housekeeping team to cater this.TV was not working in one of the room and we had to complaint to get that fixed, moreover cable TV is not operational until 9 a.m. in the morning and that's a daily problem. Bathroom - Bathroom drains were badly choked and literally sewage water was overflowing on the floor. We had to change one room because of this reason and same happened in other room next day hence this is not specific to one room. Location - Exactly on the Arya nagar chauraha, parking is available for couple of vehicles and that was one of the important reason of selecting this hotel for our stay and that was wrong and we would recommend to stay little further and select a better hotel. Service and staff - Rude staff only reception lady was trying to help but she was working for long hours hence can't expect much. Other than that there is not much support. Sleep Quality - Yacht Club is located at 3rd floor of the hotel and DJ is operational till 3 a.m. every night and noise is heard terribly in the room and one can not sleep until DJ is stopped at 3 a.m.. We have complaint about it but they don't have much control. Food - There is no restaurant or buffet breakfast/dinner facility, however they do deliver food from nearby vendors. Price - Price has no meaning as basis hygiene and sleep quality is not met for us. Overall we will NOT recommend it for staying.

We visited Kanpur for a family function and stayed here for three nights. Rooms are average. The rooms were dirty and hardly any housekeeping staff came to clean it. Room service is really bad. They take hours to serve anything in the room. The bathroom did not have a single hook to hang clothes. Even the restaurant service was bad. During breakfast we had to remind them ten times for sugar less tea. The receptionist was a bit rude with us. Over all not a great experience.

1st of October 2016 : We were Rajasthan bound from Kolkata and stopped over at this place for a night's hault as it was very accessible from the Kanpur Elevated ByePass. The hotel is a newly built one and the rooms and bathrooms are impeccably 5 Star Standards including the Linen. However, i felt that the place was under staffed as they did not have their kitchen operational then. Food was sourced from a close by restaurant by the Hotel which took some time, though was tasty. Can stay again if the need arises and would recommend it !

Excellent stay with neat and clean rooms, good common hall, wifi service and excellent room service. At the center of the city with good connectivity. Good place for marriage and other family functions.

I recently ordered a late-night snack from The Yacht Club and I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of their Chicken Greek Salad. As someone who often orders food for late-night study sessions, I was happy to see that the delivery arrived promptly and the food was still hot. The portion size was generous and the flavors were on point. I highly recommend The Yacht Club for their tasty and timely late-night snacks.

I visited The Yacht Club for a sushi dinner and was pleased with the quality of the food. The salmon sushi was especially excellent, tasting fresh and light. The accompanying veg caesar salad was also very good. The atmosphere was relaxed yet lively, and the service was friendly and prompt. All in all, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend The Yacht Club.

MONACO, March 21, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Combining adventure and innovation. At the Yacht Club de Monaco the inauguration ceremony of the first Explorer Dock took place, as part of the activities planned for the Ocean Week and under the aegis of the collective ‘Monaco, Capital of Advanced Yachting’ approach. The seven yachts displayed on the quay of the Club, M/Y Beyond Capricorn, M/Y Prometej, M/Y Audace, M/Y King Benji, S/Y NDS Evolution, M/Y U Boat Navigator and M/Y Santandrea, represent the combination of passion for adventure and innovation. Each one is designed to navigate beyond traditional boundaries and face the challenges of the oceans.

Capturing everyone’s attention on the quay was the christening of the brand new M/Y King Benji. Attending the event dedicated to the 46 meters megayacht, built by Dunya Yachts and designed by Greg Marshall, there were many guests alongside with the Yacht Club de Monaco General Secretary Bernard d’Alessandri.

“I am very humbled and proud to be here because it took years to build this yacht. It requires a lot of passion, dedication and team work with Greg Marshall and other designers. And finally she’s here and we’re proud of it,” said Sedat Ergun owner of Dunya Yachts. “We’re thriving to be a custom builder, we’re building many different yachts. Everyone’s different from each other. We love exploration. So when the client came to us, we loved it and we got on well since day one. It actually is a funny story because he came in as a crew member so we didn’t know he was the client. We talked about it and I said ‘we love the project’ and I think he felt the passion about it,” he added. Everything started from a sketch. “I flew to a meeting with the owner and he described what he was looking for and why he couldn’t buy it anywhere in the world. So I pulled out a piece of paper and just started drawing and in the first minutes he said ‘that’s it.’”

“We adjusted the sketches and it was just what you see here and it never happens. The boat is what I’d design for myself. We had a full-sized mock up build of the boat so we could walk through it 4-5 years ago. And now to see it here surrounded by the Yacht Club it just makes your skin tingle,” said Greg Marshall. From the famous naval architect pencil also came out the M/Y Artefact, that won the YCM Explorer Award in 2022.

Meanwhile everything’s ready for the Environmental Symposium. A day of conference for the industry, owners & captains, taking place on Thursday the 20th of March, organised in collaboration with The Explorer’s Club of New York. A large delegation from the US is visiting the Club and taking part not only in all the ‘explorer’ activities on the quay but also in regattas, sailing experiences involving for example the YCM flagship Tuiga. In the afternoon it will be time for the Explorer Awards by La Belle Classe Superyachts. The aim is to recognise owners who take their environmental responsibilities seriously. The major criteria for these awards are the owner’s conception of their superyacht, how they use it and what it can do for humanity. It could be a technical innovation that significantly reduces the yacht’s CO2 emissions, the assistance given to scientists, or just an ability to pass on and share adventures at sea so that many more people come to respect, love and protect the Ocean.

On Thursday and Friday the Monaco Smart Yacht Rendezvous also will be on. Organised in partnership with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and YCM, it is a natural extension of the Monaco Smart & Sustainable Marina Rendezvous.
