Stoere boot met goede zeileigenschappen die veel spierballen nodig heeft Het is een stoer schip dat goede zeileigenschappen heeft. Echter alles gaat handmatig. Een aantal krachtige vrouwen of mannen heb je wel nodig. Jammer dat je niet buiten aan tafel kan eten. De banken aan de bun zitten vast, zodat je met de rug naar elkaar met een bord op schoot eet. Dat vonden wij echt een tegenvaller. De eigenaar mag de best bereikbare kasten leeghalen. Er is een Nespresso apparaat aan boord. Dit staat niet op de inventarislijst. Pas op werkt alleen als je aan de walstroom ligt. 2,5 Joost

Segeln pur in schöner Atmosphäre Eine Woche waren wir unterwegs bis Amsterdam und zurück. Ein schönes großes Schiff mit dem man auch sportliche Segeln kann. Läuft super unter Segel und Motor. Wir waren zu sechs Seglern. Das war genau richtig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt an Bord. Zur Bedienung der Wadwaai braucht man aber ein bißchen men- bzw. Frauenpower. Mit ein wenig Übung klappt’s dann aber sehr gut mit dem setzen der Segel und Schwerter. Es hat viel Spaß gemacht. Zum Service der gesamten Crew um Michael können wir... 4,8 Martin

Perfecte vakantie op de Wiede Weerga De Wiede Weerga is een perfect onderhouden schip en van alle gemakken voorzien. De service van Sailcharter Workum was ook zeer welkom en relaxed. Wij hebben 10 dagen lang gezeild waarvan het overgrote deel op het Wad. De GPS plotter in de kuip is dan ontzettend handig. De boot zeilt prima aan de wind en ook de motor heeft voldoende vermogen. Het bed voorin is ontzettend ruim als je met de driehoek de volledige grootte benut. We hebben een weekend een bevriend stel op bezoek gehad, en zij sliepen op de... 5,0 Gijs

'Lemsteraak Juffrouw Ooievaer' Die 'Lemsteraak Juffrouw Ooievaer' hat uns wirklich Spaß gemacht! Das Handling war, nach ein wenig Eingewöhnung, sehr gut. Bugstrahlruder und Kamerasicht aus dem Mast sind sehr gute Hilfsmittel. Spaß hat auch das fahren unter Segeln gemacht. Das Schiff läuft im Vergleich (also mit nach meiner Erfahrung... habe bislang fünf Lemsteraaken gesegelt) sehr gut am Wind. Leider hatten wir nur wenig davon, was einige Touren unter Motor erforderlich gemacht hat. Dieser hat einwandfrei funktioniert und war... 5,0 Jo

Fijne dag op De Bellefleur Wij zijn helemaal tevreden over ons dagje IJsselmeer met de Bellefleur. We hadden een kapitein die heel goed aanvoelde wat ik met mijn gezin (7 volwassenen) wilden doen: zeilen. Helaas viel de wind wat tegen maar zowel de boot als de kapitein waren geweldig. 4,3 Gert

Mooi compleet uitgeruste lemsteraak Netjes en compleet uitgerust schip met goeie zeil eigenschappen, onderweg veel positieve reacties gehad over de Leazytails( vangnet grootzeil). We misten alleen een klaptafel in de achterkuip ( en daarbij een paar fijne zitkussens) 4,8 Sander krikke

prima goede ontvangst, afleveren ook duidelijk en ontspannen schip (Dorothee) goede grootte voor 4 personen, ook als we verwaaid lagen vaart goed 4,5 Wil Walvis

Kleddernat, winderig, maar heerlijk Tussen de buien door was het lekker droog en waaide het stevig door. Super om dan op zo’n topschip als de Blauwe Heks te zitten. Loopt als een trein, beweegt soepel door de forse zeegang heen en zeilvoering is gemakkelijk en snel aan de omstandigheden aan te passen. Goed anker ook. Fijn als het ‘s nachts hoogwater is en fors waait. 5,0 Olivier

Vakantie met de Bellefleur Mooi schip wat vele bewonderende reacties van mede watersporters oplevert. Compleet uitgerust en met de easy sailing configuratie ook met kleine bemanning goed te varen. 4,5 Cees

Wundervoller Urlaub auf dem Watt Wir, eine Familie mit 2 Kindern, hatten eine ganz tolle Zeit auf diesem urigen, klassischen Boot. Die Fahrt auf der Waddenzee, wo man beim Trockenfallen die Gezeiten direkt erleben kann, war ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis, was auch die Kinder sehr begeistert hat. Sie konnten im Matsch spielen, den Meeresboden erforschen und das Boot von unten angucken. Als das Wasser da war, haben uns auch ein paar Robben besucht. Das Licht und auch die Geräusche im Watt, insb. die Stille wenn das Wasser weg ist, sind... 4,3 Adam

Eleven City Tour by boat

The Eleven City Tour, or "Elfstedentocht" (known in Frisian as the Alvestêdetocht) is a skating race over almost 200 kilometres of natural ice which is organised by the Eleven Frisian Cities Association (Vereniging De Friesche Elf Steden). Leeuwarden, the capital of Friesland, is traditionally the start and finish location. The Elfstedentocht was first held in 1909. The race can only take place if the ice is in good condition. The race has been held fifteen times. The last race was in 1997. Luckily, the route can also be discovered by boat.

We have two sailing routes: a north and a south route. 

The Marrekrite

Mooring for free in the middle of nature is possible in Friesland thanks to the Marrekrite. The Marrekrite is a concept, domestically as well as abroad. Through the use of the Marrekrite (a joint venture between the province and 21 municipalities, which establishes and maintains free moorings in rural areas along the Frisian lakes and waterways), provincial and municipal authorities in Friesland want to enable you, as a water sports enthusiast/tourist, to sojourn in our beautiful nature.

Since 1957, more than 300 landing facilities have been erected in the Frisian lakes region, with a total capacity for approximately 3500 boats. Garbage containers have been stationed at various locations to keep the terrains and areas clean.

Marrekrite moorages are unique and high in demand. In order to provide as many interested parties as possible with the opportunity to use the Marrekrite moorages, a maximum of three mooring days has been imposed. As a yacht rental agency, we also support the Marrekrite. This is why you will see a small flag of the Marrekrite on the masts of our ship

Unique because of the low headroom of most of our ships, which means that low bridges up to 2.45m are no problem at all and we can offer you the most beautiful sailing holiday over the Frisian waters, Overijssel rivers and through the landscapes of Groningen. You can stay on our ships with two to a maximum of twelve people. All with their own facilities so that you can enjoy your holiday in many beautiful places. The Schiffart Yachtcharter is a full-service yacht charter company in Terherne on the Sneekermeer. A great location at the heart of the Frisian lake region. Our family business contains a yacht wharf, yacht rental company, yacht marina and a water sports shop. We have built up a very varied fleet over the years, meaning there is a suitable boat for every type of water sports enthusiasts. This fleet includes; sturdy compact cabin motorboats ( Doerakken , Brûzers ), modern cruisers , boats with spacious open cabin , royal class cutter yachts , luxurious Super Lauwersmeers and spacious 2+2 yachts .

Ideally located charter harbour in Holland

Terherne is a fantastic boat departure point as a result of its central location in the Friesian waters, on the Sneekermeer and near Sneek.

No boating license required

You will not need a boating licence for our boats. It goes without saying everyone going out on our boats will be given a full technical explanation before departure.

A harbour with plenty of extras

The harbour boasts some excellent sanitary facilities, power and water at the jetties and parking spaces for tenants on our own private site, right next to the harbour.

Non-stop-service

Our yachts are all in top condition. However, should you experience any problems whilst you are on the water: no problem at all, our technical service staff will be with you in a flash!

Rent a motorboat for 2 to 8 people

2-4 persons.

For someone who is new to watersporting, the Doerak is an ideal motorboat for cruising in Friesland. But the Doerak is also a suitable motorboat for more experienced skippers. The boat is compact, but thanks to its form it is spacious inside. Each Doerak has a bow thruster, which means they are very easy to manoeuvre!

Luxury open cockpit boats

Prefer a slightly more special motoryacht? Then a luxury motorboat with an open cockpit is a great choice. Suitable for 2-4 persons and just a bit different from the average rental boat. A cruising holiday becomes even more fun and relaxing with one of these motorboats!

The Kotter-Yacht

Rent a motoryacht with all the family, or even 2 families. This yacht has a very spacious interior, and the space is cleverly allocated to offer plenty of privacy, generous fixed berths and a shower and toilet both fore and aft. Cruise Friesland in style!

2+2 motoryachts

4-6 persons.

When we talk about a 2+2 motoryacht we mean, two completely equal cabins. Namely, two bathrooms (with toilet and shower) and two spacious bedrooms, each with a generous double bed. These luxury yachts are particularly suitable for two couples.

• Luxury motorboats

The luxury motorboats are for those who want to enjoy cruising, but want to do so with every convenience you can get into a boat. For example, central heating, double glazing, bow and stern thrusters, generous beds and bathrooms, and of course an attractive design!

Where can I cruise to with my motorboat?

Cruising on a motorboat is naturally not as fast as driving a car. This can sometimes make it difficult to judge distances. From our marina in Terherne via the Sneekermeer to Sneek takes approximately 1 hour. The cruising area that is permitted with our ships is: Friesland (Sailing is only permitted on the IJsselmeer for ships longer than 12 metres and equipped with an IJsselmeer package), Overijssel, Groningen and Drenthe.

Prachtige wintertrip Vanzelfsprekend werkte alles naar behoren aan boord. Alles was keurig schoon en de inventaris voorzag in alles voor deze geslaagde midweek. De Iris is ruim bemeten voor twee personen, vaart koerstabiel en is makkelijk te manoeuvreren met haar boeg en hekschroef. Heerlijk gevaren Boot was van alle gemakken voorzien voor een heerlijke vaartocht. Keuken goed uitgerust, koken ging prima. Daarnaast is de boegschroef is een welkome aanvulling om het manoeuvreren makkelijker te maken. Ook het zeil over de stuurhut werkt erg fijn en kan je in delen los of vast maken, afhankelijk van het weer. Na lang varen wordt het motorgeluid wel eentonig, maar dan kan je altijd even vastleggen of dobberen op het water. 5,0 Sebastiaan

Friesland is also called the ‘water province’ of the Netherlands: no wonder it’s a true paradise for water sports enthusiasts. Did you know that the beautiful Frisian lakes are all connected? This makes Friesland the perfect place to explore by boat. And do you need a break? Everywhere in the province you’ll find more than enough mooring options, or as the Frisians call it: marrekrite moorings. These marrekrite mooring places can be found at the most beautiful spots in nature.

To explore Friesland, you can rent our boats from our marinas in Drachten and Woudsend. Both marinas are great starting points: from there, you can easily sail to well-known Frisian water sports places such as Grou, Lemmer and Sneek. Would you like to sail a little longer? You can even enter the bustling canals of the Dutch capital Amsterdam by boat.

And, if you prefer a little more peace and quiet time in nature: the beautiful national park Alde Feanen is closeby and easy to discover by boat. In addition, you can take longer boat trips to other surrounding nature reserves such as the Weerribben, the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Islands.
