Often forgotten by yacht designers, GLOBAL’s engine room and steering machinery compartment has her Engineer in mind. This motor yacht ALLURE SHADOW is a 67 m 220 (foot) volumous steel luxury yacht which was built at Bender Welding & Machine and concieved by Kirilloff & Associates ; Lay, Pitman & Associates (Refit). A prominent support yacht ALLURE SHADOW is a very distinctive United States made yacht which was launched to much satisfaction in 1982. Sleeping 12 passengers and 13 crew members, motor yacht ALLURE SHADOW was named Belle ; State Belle. She could be considered a traditional support yacht. The private boat was designed from a naval architect called Kirilloff & Associates ; Lay, Pitman & Associates (Refit). Gil Norush / Kimberly Gonzales (Refit) produced her interior design brief.

Building & Yacht Design of Luxury Yacht ALLURE SHADOW

Kirilloff & Associates ; Lay, Pitman & Associates (Refit) was the naval architecture company involved in the technical nautical design work for ALLURE SHADOW. Her interior design was conceived by Gil Norush / Kimberly Gonzales (Refit). Kirilloff & Associates ; Lay, Pitman & Associates (Refit) is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. In 1982 she was actually launched with triumph in Fort Lauderdale Fl and post sea trials and final completion was then handed over to the new owner. Bender Welding & Machine completed their new build motor yacht in the United States. Her main hull was constructed with steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is made predominantly with steel. With a beam of 12.2 m / 40 ft ALLURE SHADOW has sizeable room. She has a deep draught of 3.7m (12ft). She had refit maintenance and alteration work carried out in 2007.

Installed with twin CATERPILLAR diesel engines, ALLURE SHADOW will reach a top speed of 12 knots. Connected to her Caterpillar engine(s) are twin screw propellers. She also has an economical range of 10000 miles whilst sailing at her cruising speed of 10 knots. Her total HP is 2450 HP and her total Kilowatts are 1826. Concerning thrusters she was fitted with Gm Dd 8v71 300hp. As for the yacht’s stabalisers she utilises Flume Tank.

Her superstructure does not seem to match her hull, looks like a strange marriage But she appears a lot more massive than Garçon 4 Ace, which looks very sleek and narrow irl. (To my surprise, considering her length) But why use her as a shadow? With so volume and much possibilities, she could be used as a "first" yacht. (But why all these strange windows?)

Global (formally Allure) is a very well cared vessel with all her surveys, maintenance intervals and ship’s log books updated. The Captain of the vessel which has been with it since it’s build date takes great pride in her appearance, systems, maintenance schedule, and safety. GLOBAL’s crew deck provides pleasant accommodation for up to twelve crew in six comfortable and efficient cabins with extended ceiling height, each with a bunk bed, personal storage closets, an oversized portlight, work desk, and a private head with walk in shower. Just aft, is the tastefully appointed lounge providing her crew with their own space to gather for meetings. The crew is protected by water tight doors with emergency escape hatches.

All of the crew areas are finished in premium cherry laminate with Mahogany solid wood moldings. Vanities, desk tops, nightstands and tables are Corian. Window closures and interior joiner doors are painted chocolate brown. Interior walls are vinyl soft core panels and / or painted. Forward, out of sight but easily accessible, is GLOBAL’S commercial grade laundry equipped with only the most modern equipment to help lighten the cleaning burden of such a large vessel.

Often forgotten by yacht designers, GLOBAL’s engine room and steering machinery compartment has her Engineer in mind. Located astern, it features an enclosed, sound-proofed, bullet proof, climate-controlled Engineering Officer’s Station where both of the main engines and the GLOBAL’s three generators can easily be monitored.

Setting the graceful ambiance that helps define the GLOBAL Class, Guest Deck furniture, casework, overhead soffits and accent wall panels are "Obeche Veneer" from a Chinese Poplar known as "Koffee Fineline." "Indian Ebony" is used in the elevator, the stairway entry to the Sky Lounge from the guest deck and the Sky Lounge powder room. All solid wood components are Mahogany. 

All of the staterooms have more than generous storage and are equipped with flat panel televisions with a Kaleidescape System providing full access to 600  movies, 2,000 songs, satellite TV and music via GLOBAL's entertainment system

Stepping down from the aircraft, arriving guests move forward to GLOBAL's Sky Lounge. Superyacht Allure Shadow now for sale with Merle Wood

News now of another central agency change as I learn that Thom Conboy and John Cohen at Merle Wood & Associates have taken over the central listing of the 67.06m motor yacht Allure Shadow .

She was built by Shadow Marine in 2007 to serve as a sports/utility superyacht. Accommodating 12 guests in six luxurious staterooms – all with private balconies – Allure Shadow has a vast range of features including a heli-deck with large hangar, on deck pool, games room, cinema, gym and a skylounge with panoramic views. SOLAS classed and MCA compliant, Allure Shadow is asking $22.995 million.
