Chris Craft made history and changed yachting forever with its now famous Constellation line of Yachts. From her classic clipper bow to the brightly finished transom, the lines remain contemporary to this day. Adagio is one of the finest examples of this trend setting series.

Never before or since has there been such an influence on style and craftsmanship. Chris Craft selected the now almost extinct Philippine Mahogany to create their moving works of art. Bulkheads are constructed of hand selected; hand rubbed, and highly varnished mahogany.

Their spacious saloons and private staterooms made these yachts the envy of the  rich and famous for decades. You could not reproduce this yacht at any price.  The guest list of M.V. Adagio contains the names of the who’s who of Hollywood.

Perfect for Pacific Northwest cruising, Adagio boasts many roomy interior spaces including a large salon and galley, pilothouse, and a luxurious master suite, VIP stateroom, and a bunk bed in a third stateroom, all with heating and air conditioning. Adagio is also equipped with a custom hard-top flybridge that can be fully enclosed with removable panels to keep you comfortably shaded from the hot sun and protected from wind while underway or when the weather turns inclement. This spacious flybridge seats 10 comfortably and includes a wet bar for entertaining.

Captain Jake Todd Qualifications: -Officer of the Watch 3000gt with 35000nm at sea -Yacht master offshore and Yacht master ocean theory -Approved engine Course -RYA Powerboat level 2 -Dive master Jake is an experienced yachtsman, with an impressive sailing record having covered over 35000nm with 4 Atlantic crossings, dozens of Med crossings and plenty of yachting around the miserable south coast of England. He started his sailing from a humble town called Hayling island, where as you might have guessed, there isn’t much to do except being around the sea. Jake starting dinghy sailing at 9 where he quickly progressed through the ranks to national junior champion and eventually representing GBR in many world champion events at youth level. Over his 7 year career in yachting he has been working in the superyacht sector on racing yachts and high performance carbon yachts. His previous job as a 1st mate on a 148ft carbon yacht gave him vast experience in all types of conditions, environment and locations. His studies in the yachting industry has merited him with his Officer of the watch 3000gt which qualifies him to be an officer on yachts over 80m/262ft. He wants to eventually carry on his studies and reach his Master licenses in the future. Jake brings a wealth of experience, unwavering dedication and a genuine love for the sea. He guarantees a safe and memorable sailing experience for all that embark on his voyages. Chef Caitlin Willows Qualifications: CTH level 2 award in Culinary arts, Ashburton Culinary academy CIEH food safety level 2 RYA Powerboat level 2 Caitlin is a foody. She loves making food and has an unrelenting desire to please people with it. She too has been working in the superyacht industry for over 7 years, spanning across the globe on a variety of different yachts. She too has completed 3 Atlantic crossing on sailing and motor yachts, with many thousands of miles under her belt. Caitlin’s journey took an exciting turn when she had the opportunity to work under 2 Italian Michelin star chefs which filled her culinary arson with a touch of elegance and sophistication. Their mentorship helped shape her creativity and push her talents to another level. She was born in South Africa where she was raised by a family who loves a traditional “braai”. Her mother being Mauritian and her father from South Africa she, from a young age was surrounded by different cuisines and cultures. Besides her culinary skills she is irresistibly drawn to the sea and finds solace and inspiration from its depths. Cheffing is her passion so perusing it as a long term career seems to be the only option. Caitlin brings an unburning desire to provide exquisite meals against the back drop of the open ocean.

Qualifications: -Officer of the Watch 3000gt with 35000nm at sea -Yacht master offshore and Yacht master ocean theory -Approved engine Course -RYA Powerboat level 2 -Dive master Jake is an experienced yachtsman, with an impressive sailing record having covered over 35000nm with 4 Atlantic crossings, dozens of Med crossings and plenty of yachting around the miserable south coast of England. He started his sailing from a humble town called Hayling island, where as you might have guessed, there isn’t much to do except being around the sea. Jake starting dinghy sailing at 9 where he quickly progressed through the ranks to national junior champion and eventually representing GBR in many world champion events at youth level. Over his 7 year career in yachting he has been working in the superyacht sector on racing yachts and high performance carbon yachts. His previous job as a 1st mate on a 148ft carbon yacht gave him vast experience in all types of conditions, environment and locations. His studies in the yachting industry has merited him with his Officer of the watch 3000gt which qualifies him to be an officer on yachts over 80m/262ft. He wants to eventually carry on his studies and reach his Master licenses in the future. Jake brings a wealth of experience, unwavering dedication and a genuine love for the sea. He guarantees a safe and memorable sailing experience for all that embark on his voyages.

Caitlin Willows

Qualifications: CTH level 2 award in Culinary arts, Ashburton Culinary academy CIEH food safety level 2 RYA Powerboat level 2 Caitlin is a foody. She loves making food and has an unrelenting desire to please people with it. She too has been working in the superyacht industry for over 7 years, spanning across the globe on a variety of different yachts. She too has completed 3 Atlantic crossing on sailing and motor yachts, with many thousands of miles under her belt. Caitlin’s journey took an exciting turn when she had the opportunity to work under 2 Italian Michelin star chefs which filled her culinary arson with a touch of elegance and sophistication. Their mentorship helped shape her creativity and push her talents to another level. She was born in South Africa where she was raised by a family who loves a traditional “braai”. Her mother being Mauritian and her father from South Africa she, from a young age was surrounded by different cuisines and cultures. Besides her culinary skills she is irresistibly drawn to the sea and finds solace and inspiration from its depths. Cheffing is her passion so perusing it as a long term career seems to be the only option. Caitlin brings an unburning desire to provide exquisite meals against the back drop of the open ocean.

Kyle grew up on the wild west coast of Scotland, in a tiny wee village by the sea. He learnt to sail in a loch close to his home and became a watersports enthusiast. After studying outdoor leadership at college he qualified as a mountain bike, kayak and sailing instructor. Kyle moved to the south of France to teach sailing at an outdoor activity centre and he now loves getting everyone behind the helm and helping with sails when he charters. Working on commercial salmon farms developed his experience handling vessels and made him the level headed and safety-oriented captain he is today.

Chef Matilda “Tilly” Painter Jones

Qualifications: -Ashburton Culinary Academy Yacht Chef Certificate -PADI Divemaster -VHF License -STCW Basic Safety Training -Food Safety & Hygiene level -2 RYA Day Skipper

Tilly was born in a landlocked English town and owes her love of the ocean to her surf-mad dad. As she grew up her passion for the ocean was matched only by her love of food and different cuisines from around the world that she now enjoys sharing with guests. After studying her degree in marine biology and a brief stint in a luxury ski chalet in France, Tilly moved to Scotland to pursue her career as a biologist. Here she found a love of growing food and championing local produce which she loves to incorporate as often as possible. Although she worked on boats her first real sailing experience was crossing the Atlantic Ocean and she hasn’t looked back since.

Kyle and Tilly met on a small island off the west coast of Scotland back in 2018 while they were both farming Scottish salmon, Tilly as the on-site biologist and Kyle as the site supervisor. They quickly realized they shared the same passion for adventure and the ocean and spent two years exploring the Highlands and Islands. After an especially cold and wet winter they jumped on a boat and sailed across the Atlantic toward the sunshine.

Kyle and Tilly have been chartering together in the British Virgin Islands for over a year and love to create the perfect vacation experience for everyone that steps onboard. Whether your dream trip is anchoring in remote bays, diving breathtaking reefs, enjoying bespoke cocktails at world famous bars or anywhere in between, Kyle and Tilly have got you covered.

Trawlers Adagio is the story of how to find a decent balance between comfort of travel on long distance, individual design and maximum reliability. The story began to tell the two brothers who, after working successfully distributors of Dutch steel vessels realized that they could create boats themselves. Customers they were familiar with, so the idea fell from the ceiling.

in 2005, the shipyard Adagio Yachts comfortably settled in the current segment yacht semi-displacement boats. Then was released the first model — Adagio 42 , motor yacht, trawler type with a length of 12.8 m. Since then the model range was replenished Adagio boats ranging from 40 to 67 feet.

Adagio makes a "true Dutch court" with a classic hull shape, capable of speeds up to 22 knots. Like many manufacturers of yachts, Adagio offers to its clients an individual approach, but for a very affordable money. Blue sea is not blue if the boat had no chamber, and fly solar? Then you are at.

After a lifetime messing about in boats, ADAGIO’s owner wanted an expedition yacht. He detailed his requirements in a comprehensive seven-page design brief that set out every aspect of his needs, and the boat’s anticipated use. Above all he sought a motor yacht of superyacht quality, with emphasis on safety, comfort, reliability, serviceability and style. Close attention was to be paid to sound and vibration suppression. He wanted a boat of the “right size”; that is, big enough to cruise anywhere (including high latitudes) in safety and comfort, but no bigger than necessary to do so.

Some specific requirements included an owner’s stateroom with walk-around Queen-sized bed and ensuite; two guest cabins; and private crew quarters aft. The saloon was to open via double doors to a large weather-protected aft deck. The engine room was to have full headroom. Electric generating capacity was to be adequate to run a full range of domestic appliances, with power storage sufficient for generators to be shut down for extended periods.

There was to be an integrated navigation system with redundancy, and a full suite of voice and data communications. A custom program logic controller monitoring system (as used on modern jet aircraft) was requested. It was to be capable of checking systems and operations constantly.

Construction was to be in ALUSTAR high-strength aluminium, painted with AWLGRIP system to high-gloss yacht finish.

Mark Fitzgerald, in Chuck Paine’s design studio in Camden, Maine was chosen for the task because of his design pedigree. In the 1970s, Fitzgerald worked with the doyen of US naval architects Jack Hargrave. Hargrave and his team drew more than 7000 yachts, many of them classics, leaving an indelible mark on the US boating industry – and on Fitzgerald.
