My grandsons always ask to go to Pirate’s Cove, they love chicken strips, grilled cheese and grandma and I love our po-boys roast beef for her and shrimp for me. Try the corn nuggets- yum. Get some and take them to the beach

Dine in very casual or carry out. Fairly priced poboys that had more shirmp than most poboys. They are large - for one person seems a half will do. Somemight consider this cheap eats, others mid range but it is a great value

While in town over the weekend we stopped in as the PC has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. My fear of the unknown with the place up for sale and their 4 day a week schedule made me feel like... I might be visiting for the last time. The food and service was as good as its always been and the Barq's in a bottle couldn't have been colder....I just hope it's still being chilled the next time I'm in town. More

My wife and I just finished our dinner, foot long Shrimp poorboy. I have to say that I was disappointed. Shrimps were missing, I mean really missing. I don’t mind the price increases over the years, but in the past there was always plenty of... shrimp in my sandwich. I like this place and have eaten there plenty of times over the years. Really would like more shrimp in my sandwich on our next visit. More

So disappointed with my catfish poboy. :( It took much longer than expected to get. Then when I saw it through the paper as I unwrapped it, it was really dark like a hamburger. Thought maybe I accidentally got a hamburger poboy. Opened the bun... and it was the darkest catfish filet I’ve seen. Gray. And there was a ton of pepper on it. I asked for tartar sauce instead of Mayo, which they forgot so I went up and asked for it. I was given three packets. Disappointed again that it wasn’t made from scratch. The fish didn’t taste good so I wasn’t able to eat more than a couple bites. I was so hungry and that thing cost $10. Huge disappointment. With all the other places that serve great catfish poboys around here, we won’t be coming back. More

When we are in Pass Christian, we always make a point to stop at Pirate’s Cove. We were in town for two week and ate there twice. My usual is the roast beef, it’s very good and like other messy (a good thing!). It comes... dressed with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and mayo. You can also order it to your liking. We always get the Red Barq’s. They come in half and whole sizes. My wife got the hamburger which to me was small. If you’re a big eater you might want to get two. The second trip I got the half BBQ roast beef with fries. You can also dress it to your liking. It was good but a little on the dry side. The bright side was I didn’t get it all over me. Lol Pirate’s Cove has a large sitting area with picnic style tables. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. There hours have changed, they are now open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday until 8pm each day if I remember correct. I would recommend Pirate’s Cove. More

Everyone from the coast know about Pirates Cove. It is one of the best places to get a Poboy. I enjoy their roast beef and shrimp. Everything is always good. Just think they need a sign on the highway telling people where they are located... and open more hours. More

I hadn’t been to Pirates Cove in 21 years. I’m so happy they rebuilt after Katrina. While driving back to New Orleans, we googled their location and stopped in for takeout. We ordered the shrimp, roast beef and my favorite chicken PO Boys. All were... terrific and just as good as I remember! More

Do not offer a senior discount. Do not offer a military discount. Attempted guilt trip at POS to collect tip for taking your order. Clean windows, floors, doors, table tops. Fast order and fast delivery. Stellar shrimp poboys. Best poboys on the Mississippi coast. Food... well prepared and delivered. We will be back again. More

I am from the coast...One of the first places that I want to eat at when I visit, is Pirate's Cove!! Oh my gosh!! It is the best po-boy in existence!! They are in a temporary place right now, but, according to the owners, they... have plans to build a new bigger and better restaurant at their old location on the beach.. Katrina destroyed the old building... But, even while they are in the temporary place, their po-boys can't be beat!! If you are visiting the coast... THE ROAST BEEF PO-BOY IS A MUST HAVE!! More

Do not miss this place! I have been eating here for 47 years and I never tire of the delicious, juicy, messy dressed roast beef poboy, homemade onion rings, Barq’ s in a bottle with a strawberry dip cone for dessert! You will not be... disappointed! More

Whenever we go there I always get the shrimp pony dressed. It's so darn good I don't dare get anything else. Talk about stuffed with shrimp and fried just right with fresh grease. Just thinking about it now I want one. LOL

My wife and I visited as we have not been there in about a year and wanted a good po-boy. Both of us ordered a shrimp po-boy and fries. The bread was on the verge of being stale as it crumbled rather than being crusty... like it should be. The shrimp were cold and tasted as they were old, greasy and had an iodine taste. We were so disappointed as this place used to be very good but has certainly gone down in quality. More

We give this restaurant a poor review. We had the shrimp poboys but it was hard to enjoy a meal with so many flies buzzing around the tables. The sandwiches were big but lacked flavor, onion rings were pretty good but definitely not what I... consider to be large size. Wouldn't eat there again, sorry. More

Beautiful views of the gulf - enjoyed Sunday Buffet - large selection - and my husband especially liked the club sandwich. Staff was polite and accommodating.
