This Amels Limited Edition 242-foot yacht boasts a Tim Heywood exterior design and Winch Design interiors. With a Gross Tonnage of 1,790, she accommodates twelve guests in six cabins with nineteen crew members. She includes the latest Amels 242 features, from the premium Owner’s Deck to the aft deck swimming pool. M&EM makes a statement with her unique blue paint job and stands out from other Amels Limited Editions yachts.

The Amels 242 is a superyacht with a length of 74 meters, offering luxurious amenities and sophistication. The design features interior styling from Winch Design, exterior styling from Tim Heywood, and naval architecture by Damen Yachting. 74m Amels 242 M&EM Delivered to Owner

Leading Dutch shipyard Amels has announced that the 74m superyacht ‘M&EM’ from the successful Amels 242 series has been delivered to her new owner.

Stemming from the popular Amels 242 design, this brand-new 74m delivery marks yet another triumph for the Amels Limited Editions, as the seventh yacht from the bespoke 242 series. 

Featuring an unmistakable exterior design from yachting design legend Tim Heywood, M&EM, previously known as Amels 24207, is a stunning addition to the Amels fleet. Adorned with a unique glossy blue hull, white superstructure and sweeping large glass windows, the new 74m is a truly stand-out vessel, first revealed to the world at her launch earlier this year. 

Damen Yachting completed the naval architecture for M&EM, and, like all Amels Limited Editions, has ensured that the new yacht has been designed to deliver ‘ocean-going performance’, alongside an, ‘excellent onboard experience’. M&EM features several of the latest Amels innovations and exceptional features including a dedicated owners deck with a forward-facing stateroom providing incredible views during cruising. A large swimming pool at the aft deck, a foredeck jacuzzi and an increased capacity helicopter deck are also fitted onboard. M&EM is also equipped with the latest IMO Tier III clean emissions power and propulsion package. 

Inside, M&EM boasts custom interiors by renowned British interior design studio Winch Design ; completing the impressive design team. The owner was represented throughout the build process by Imperial. 

A gross tonnage of 1,790, allows this Amels 242 to accommodate 12 guests in six luxurious cabins, alongside 19 crew plus Captain.

The 74 metre Amels Project 242-07 has been handed over to her owner and christened M&EM . She marks the seventh launch from the yard's Limited Editions 242 series and joins sisterships Avanti and New Secret as she departed the Damen Yachting shipyard. 

Her royal-blue hull and ice-white superstructure have been designed by Tim Heywood , a continuation of the studio's longstanding partnership with the shipyard, with interior styling by Winch Design . 

M&EM features a dedicated forward-facing owner's deck complete with a hot tub with a large swimming pool on the main deck aft. An interior volume of 1,790 GT can accommodate up to 12 guests and 19 crew members, although the configuration of the cabins is yet to be revealed.

Project manager, Peter Dijkwel, said that Amels was "delighted to be handing over this beautiful yacht to her owners", calling it "a milestone which has been made possible thanks to the excellent collaboration between all parties involved." 

The yacht has been equipped with a clean emissions power and propulsion package to meet the latest IMO Tier III regulations. Unlike some of its sisterships, M&EM has also incorporated a modified stern as well as integrated hydraulic steps for swift access to the water.

Speaking on the new launch, Rob Luijendijk, sales director of Damen Yachting, said: “This design has captured the imagination of many clients and this one, in particular, is a great example of the Limited Editions concept." He added that the client was "able to customise many aspects to create a yacht that suits their specific requirements."

The eighth Limited Editions 242 hull was sold in December 2021 and is scheduled for delivery in 2024.

Turkish-built motor yacht M&M is one of the latest superyachts from Mengi Yay shipbuilders to join the Eastern Mediterranean yacht charter market. The 35-meter motor yacht M&M entered the market one year after the successful entry of motor yacht SERENITY II .

The exterior lines of the fly-bridge motor yacht M&M were designed by Kerim Demir. The interior styling is credited to BTA Design. Charter guests will find accommodations for a party of 10, in five cabins: 1 master suite on the main deck, 1 master suite aft on the lower deck, 2 VIP cabins, and 1 twin cabin. All cabins feature an en-suite shower & toilette, intercom, SAT phone, and entertainment systems.

Built out of ELM Epoxy Laminated Mahogany, the yacht is built to RINA safety class requirements. A fast yacht, she is capable of speeds up to 22 knots, thanks to twin 1,875 Caterpillar C32 diesel engines.

Her sun deck is the ideal location for entertaining family and friends with a large Spa tub for 6 guests, 4 sunbeds, and a dining table with room for 10. Another alfresco dining area is on the main aft deck.  Conversely, the foredeck offers even more space for sunbathing.

The 35m/114'10" motor yacht 'M' (ex. Jurata) was built by Arcadia in Italy at their Torre Annunziata shipyard. Her interior is styled by Italian designer design house Francesco Guida and she was completed in 2014. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Francesco Guida and she was last refitted in 2022.

Guest Accommodation

M has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Her features include deck jacuzzi, WiFi and air conditioning.

Range & Performance

Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin diesel MAN (D2868 LE466) 1,224hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 1,200 nautical miles from her 15,000 litre fuel tanks at 13 knots. An advanced stabilisation system on board promises exceptional comfort levels at anchor or on any voyage. Her water tanks store around 4,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to RINA (Registro Italiano Navale) classification society rules.
