Boat Storage

For boat storage, all the options are available for all makes and models at Hinckley Stuart. We offer safe and secure boat storage whether you require wet storage or dry boat storage.

Hinckley’s Stuart marina also has boat slips available centrally located on Florida’s Treasure Coast and close to the St. Lucie inlet. Slips with draft up to 7’ are available to accommodate most sailboats.

Boat Upholstery

We offer complete boat upholstery services for all boat seating and outdoor canvas. From bimini to settees, to port shades, boat curtains and crew carpet, call on us. Our marine upholstery department will work with you or your designer to create just the right boat interior.

Welding and Fabrication

Hinckley Stuart completes structural hull and deck repairs and marine modifications in steel, aluminum, bronze, titanium and stainless steel for all types of marine applications. We work on commercial vessels as well as pleasure boats.

Whether you need a to repair the running rigging, replace a hydraulic system or install a new winch or roller furler, our sailboat rigging specialists have the expertise. We have a spar crane on site.

Marine Electronics

Let Hinckley take care of all your marine electronics needs. Shelter Island Yachts Names United Yacht Sales Official Dealer

United Yacht Sales, the world's largest yacht brokerage firm with more than 250 yacht brokers , have been named an official dealer of Shelter Island Yachts . UYS broker Mordy Miltz will be the brand representative and manage the relationship with the builder for the company.

United Yacht Sales will represent the Florida market as its territory for the builder.

Shelter Island Yachts, designed and built right here in the U.S. by CH Marine, are hand-crafted, custom-built downeast boats which range in size from 30 to 38-feet. "We use only the finest materials; Kevlar hulls, custom stainless steel deck fittings and hand selected teak," says the shipyard. "The hardware, system components and machinery we use have all been selected for quality and longevity. If it costs a little more, than so be it; we do not compromise."

"I am very excited to bring together Shelter Island Yachts to the market with United Yacht Sales," said Mordy. "Coecles Harbor Marine has an excellent reputation in boat building for the last 30 years. Anyone that owns a downeast or loves that style of boating is going to want to get on board the Shelter Island 38."

The Shelter Island 38 is offered in 3 versions:

• 38 Runabout - Traditional downeast runabout with v-hull and diesel inboard engines.

• 38 Runabout FS - Same hull as the other 38's but offers more seating, choice of inboard/outboard power

Located between the North and South forks on the East End of Long Island, Shelter Island has a rich background of seafaring tradition. In 2000, CH Marine expanded their facilities and opened a new boat building shop down the street from the boatyard, and it is here where each new Shelter Island yacht takes shape. ABOUT MORDY MILTZ :

Mordechai "Mordy" Miltz entered the maritime industry in 2004 at the age of 19 when he owned and operated a fishing supply company in the Northeast. During this time, Mordy actively pursued continuing education by gaining his Merchant Mariner Credential, among other maritime certifications. This entrepreneurial mindset provided strategic opportunity for Mordy to enter in the yacht brokerage industry. In less than two years, Mordy opened his first office in Long Island, NY, and another in South Florida shortly thereafter. Mordy has connected with top leaders in communities all over the eastern seaboard, and most recently in the west coast. He is a confident and tactical negotiator and has been afforded opportunities globally.

Mordy is an avid fisherman, with sponsorships and awards in top tournaments such as the Mid-Atlantic 500, White Marlin Open, and Blue Water Movements. He regularly sails and races on a Farr 40, and also enjoys a few rounds of sporting clays.
