The 150 acre Royal Welsh Showground is open all year round. We host an array of exciting events set against the spectacular views of the Welsh countryside.

The Showground boasts many different venues catering for a variety of occasions such as weddings, business meetings, conferences, concerts, exhibitions and much more.

With its objectives to serve the best interests of the Welsh Agriculture industry, members play a vital role in ensuring the society provides support for businesses, social welfare and education in rural communities throughout Wales.

An essential part of the Royal Welsh ethos, members can be proud of the fact that they are supporting the charitable aims of the society. These are delivered through providing awards, bursaries and scholarships, along with organising and staging our three society events; the Smallholding and Countryside Festival, the Royal Welsh Show and the Winter Fair.

The society’s events illustrates the worth of the wider agricultural industry, celebrating and combining all elements of food and farming in one place. With the industry facing significant challenges, there has never been a more important time to show your solidarity and become a member of the society.

Payments can be made by the following payment methods: Cash, Cheque or Direct Debit.

(If you complete a Direct Debit mandate after the 1 st February, the Direct Debit will be taken at the end of each month and will then fall into the bulk Direct Debit run on 1 st February the following year)

A VAT receipt is available on request. All Cheques should be made payable to RWAS Ltd.

The Royal Welsh Yacht Club

Set within the medieval walled town of Caernarfon, Porth yr Aur is the oldest yacht club premises in the world. Its unique position offers breath-taking views over the Menai Strait and the old town. The Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) is recognised as the premier organiser of racing for offshore yachts around the world and is a leading authority on safety at sea. Established in 1925, the Club's Fastnet Race has become the world's largest offshore race by number of entries. Supported by Rolex since 2001, the Rolex Fastnet Race attracts over 400 boats from around the world. The RORC organises races in British and European locations, as well as Antigua, Grenada, Lanzarote, and Helsinki. The Club has approximately 4000 members across the globe.

RORC Membership

Candidates for Ocean Racing Membership must have completed no less than 500 miles racing offshore including at least two nights at sea, and if possible, at least one RORC race, within the last five years.

Candidates for Corinthian membership should have a background of sailing experience and support the objectives of the Club.
