Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 Bravo Peacock

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 is back with more boatmances, nudity, injury, and other boat calamities like fire. We have all the juicy details you may be looking for, including the premiere date, plot, cast, and episode release schedule. You’ll also be able to stream all the episodes online from anywhere in the world, so keep reading.

Captain Glenn and his team resume their responsibilities, but the Captain realizes that his laid-back leadership style has allowed his crew to become too comfortable, so he starts taking charge of quality control in the interior department, much to Daisy's dismay.

"In the galley, Chef Ileisha’s cooking impresses the guests, but her indecisiveness and co-dependency lead to time-management issues between courses, which causes her to self-destruct. On deck, strong personalities collide, and a power struggle results in a near mutiny as Gary clashes with his new overconfident deckhand, Chase."

"Two overlapping love triangles further complicate the dynamics on board, and a shocking hookup puts Colin, Daisy, and Gary’s friendship in jeopardy. With a near collision, fire, crew rebellion, gruesome guest injury, and two different potentially season-ending engine failures, this is the most captivating and unpredictable season yet of Below Deck Sailing Yacht."

New crew members will join in, so let’s see when, where, and how to watch Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4  online from anywhere in the world.

Below Deck TV Show

Below Deck: Superyacht TV show to return for two new series

US TV network Bravo has announced that superyacht TV show Below Deck will be returning to screens for two new spin-off seasons, Below Deck Adventure and Below Deck Down Under.

Premiering in early 2022, Below Deck Adventure will follow the escapades of explorer yachts cruising in the icy fjords of Norway , playing host to thrill-seeking charterers as they partake in adrenaline-fueled exploits while exploring the glacial waters and rugged landscapes.

Unlike other seasons that have been set in sunnier climes, such as Below Deck Mediterranean , the camera crew will follow charterers’ exhilarating activities in sub-zero temperatures, such as heli-skiing and dog sledding.

The crew will be pushed to new limits as they attempt to maintain a luxury service alongside managing the physical and technical demands of cold-weather cruising.

Below Deck Down Under will be aired on NBC’s Peacock streaming platform. This series, which is already well underway with filming, is taking place on the other side of the globe in Australia. Home to the Great Barrier Reef , Australia has some of the world’s greatest cruising grounds on offer, and the crew will be expected to provide activities for guests below and above the water, with scuba diving being one of the main draws of the region.

The TV show follows the secret lives of superyacht crews working on board charter yachts , capturing behind-the-scenes footage of their day-to-day obligations and interactions. Crews featured in previous series have worked on a range of superyachts available for charter , including 54 metre sailing yacht Parsifal III and 56.2 metre motor yacht The Wellesley .

Some crew members, such as Captain Lee Rosbach and Captain Sandy Yawn , have achieved something of a celebrity status following the success of the show’s earlier seasons.

Further details about the new series, including the crew cast, are yet to be announced but will be released in due course.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3: next episode, trailer, cast and everything we know

Bravo’s Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 is underway and the only thing calm may be the water.

Chef Marcos cooking on Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 is here, and Captain Glenn Shephard is back to balancing the demands of vacationers with the drama of his crew. And let’s face it, in most instances, the baggage of his crew far outweighs the luggage of any guest.

This season takes the show to the waters surrounding Menorca, Spain. The breathtaking views only serve as momentary interruptions to the hookups, the confrontations, the injuries and the occasional emergencies of the new season. Given the interesting dynamic that already exists between returning crew members like Daisy Kelliher and Gary King, the addition of a new chef, new stews and new deckhands make sailing anything but smooth aboard the Parsifal III.

Here’s what we know about Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3.

When is the next Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 episode?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 premiered on Monday, February 21. New episodes continue to air on Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo TV in the US. Episodes are available the next day in the UK on Hayu , which can be included as part of a Prime Video subscription. Additionally, Peacock via Sky TV or NOW TV also offers next-day streaming for Bravo content.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is back with the first part of the season 3 reunion airing on Monday, June 27, at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo. After a tumultuous season full of drama and love triangles, it will be interesting to see what the cast has to say to one another when they face off.

By the way, have you read why fans are grossed out by Ashely's grilled cheese feast ?

What happens on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew having drinks

Viewers of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2 will recall that the last time the crew was together, first mate Gary King was involved in a messy love triangle with deckhand Sydney Zaruba and stew Alli Dore. While fans of the show won’t have to worry about seeing King in a continuation of that love saga, based on the trailer, King will again find himself entangled in a romance. It appears he entangles with chief stew Daisy Kelliher of all people. While the two appeared to make amends at last year’s reunion after feuding all season 2, no one expected the two to be locking lips.

Additionally, it should be noted that Below Deck Sailing Yacht is done with love triangles, as Bravo TV teases this season fans can expect to see a “twisted love pentagon.” More may not turn out to be merrier in this case.

Fans of the show will also remember that Captain Glenn Shephard and his crew were involved in an accident during season 2 . Season 3 shows how Captain Shephard has been able to bounce back from the incident while also trying to avoid another potentially disastrous event.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 cast

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 includes returning crew Captain Glenn Shephard, chief stew Daisy Kelliher, chief engineer Colin MacRae and first mate Gary King. These members are joined by chef Marcos Spaziani, second stew Gabriela Barragan, third stew Ashley Marti, as well as deckhands Kelsie Goglia and Tom Pearson.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 looks like it’s not light on the conflict or surprised hookups.

For those needing more details about that kiss between Gary and Daisy, hear from Daisy herself as she provides a little more insight on their involvement.

How to watch Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3

New episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 air live on Mondays in the US. With a subscription, episodes can also be streamed live via Fubo TV , Hulu with Live TV , Sling TV and YouTube TV . Additionally, Peacock provides next-day streaming for its subscribers. In order to access episodes, would-be viewers will have to subscribe to Peacock Premium , which offers either a $4.99 ad-supported or $9.99 ad-free plan.

Viewers in the UK can watch episodes the day after they air using Hayu .

Who's leaving Below Deck Sailing Yacht?

It looks like everyone's favorite Below Deck chef is calling it quits. Marcos Spaziani recently took to Twitter to announce that he has no plans on returning for another season.

I want to thank everyone for the big support and great comments. I never thought in my life I would bring so much inspiration to so many ppl and for that I’m very grateful and also blessed! But I can’t go back to the next season. #BelowDeckSailingYacht #belowdecksailing pic.twitter.com/CLTmtLV7yP June 1, 2022

Is Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 airing early on Peacock?

When will Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 be on Peacocok?

Is Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 airing early on Peacock? That’s a question on fans’ minds as the Season 3 premiere date on Bravo nears.

Ever since Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 was released early on Peacock, Below Deck fans can’t help but wonder if other installments in the franchise will follow suit. Below Deck Med Season 6 episodes were released a week early on Peacock.

There is good news for Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans who watch on Bravo. Season 3 will not be dropping early on Peacock, so there will be no spoilers.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 episodes will be released on Peacock every Tuesday morning after the episode premieres on Bravo. The format follows that of Below Deck Season 9.

Peacock has become the streaming service home to the hit-yachting franchise. Viewers can watch all seasons of OG Below Deck, Below Deck Med, and Below Deck Sailing Yacht on the streaming service.

In March, Below Deck Down Under becomes the first original Below Deck spin-off to be an exclusive Peacock show. At this time, there are no plans to air Below Deck Down Under on Bravo.

However, The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip is also a Peacock original and did eventually hit Bravo airwaves. There’s a good chance Below Deck Down Under will follow suit.

What can Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans expect from Season 3?

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 premiere is only days away. Fans have been anxiously waiting for the new season since the juicy, crazy, and drama-filled trailer was released.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Marcos Spaziani (@chefmarcospaziani)

Captain Glenn Shephard, Daisy Kelliher, Gary King, and Colin MacRae are back for another season. They are joined by Kelsie Goglia, Tom Pearson, Gabriela Barragan, Ashley Marti, and chef Marcos Spaziani.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 fans can expect more craziness than Season 2, according to Colin, Daisy, and Gary. Things get heated between the first mate and chief stew, who sparked dating rumors recently.

Although there’s plenty of drama to keep viewers entertained, the Parsifal III crew did have a lot of fun filming the hit sailing show. The Season 3 cast has been sharing behind-the-scenes photos to get Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans excited for the upcoming season.

Plus, boatmances, demanding guests, crew fighting, and a scary incident that could end the season early are all things fans can expect from Season 3.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 premieres on Monday, February 21 at 8/7c on Bravo.

When does ‘Below Deck Down Under’ release and where can you watch it?

Peacock will be premiering 'Below Deck Down Under' on Thursday, March 17.

What is ‘Below Deck Down Under’ all about?

Since the premiere of Bravo's blockbuster hit reality series 'Below Deck' in 2013, multiple spin-off shows have been produced to provide fans with even more drama on the high seas. 'Below Deck Down Under' will be the fourth in the series. According to Peacock, the official synopsis is as follows: “Set against the stunning backdrop of the tropical Whitsunday Islands and world-famous Great Barrier Reef in northeastern Australia, the Peacock Original series BELOW DECK DOWN UNDER explores the complex, often explosive dynamics of the crew and a rotating group of demanding charter guests on M/Y Thalassa.”

Who stars on ‘Below Deck Down Under’?

Captain Jason Chambers will lead this season with help from fan-favorite chief stew Aesha Scott. Chef Ryan McKeown, bosun Jamie Sayed, stews Tumi Mhlongo and Magda Ziomek, and deckhands Culver Bradbury, Brittini Burton, and Ben Crawley are among the newcomers. They'll operate under captain Chambers' hands-on style, which involves him doing all it takes to ensure that the guests have a wonderful time aboard the Australian mega-yacht.

The Best TV Shows to Watch on Peacock

yacht show on peacock

This list will be updated regularly as titles are added to and removed from Peacock.

Peacock may not be as prolific as Netflix or as packed with quality programming as Max , but in the years since its 2020 launch, NBCUniversal’s streaming service has carved out a niche as the home of the Olympics , Best Picture winner Oppenheimer , and more. When it comes to television, Peacock’s supply of prestige dramas is a bit limited compared to many of its competitors. But its comedy catalog—featuring great original series like Poker Face and Killing It , along with decades’ worth of classic NBC sitcoms—is second to none, while Bravo and E! keep the platform stocked with some of the most popular reality TV franchises in existence. Here are some highlights. (An asterisk denotes that a title is a Peacock original.)

Best Comedy Series on Peacock

Poker face*.

The best Peacock original to date is this homage to 1970s detective shows created by Rian Johnson and starring Natasha Lyonne as a wry, big-haired Columbo for our time. Its first season takes Lyonne’s Charlie Cale—who has an uncanny ability to tell when someone is lying to her—on a solo cross-country road trip, as she flees a bloodthirsty employer in Vegas, pausing to solve murders at Texas barbecue joints, Tennessee race tracks, and on tour with a metal band fronted by Chloë Sevigny . The final episodes take a darker turn, setting up Poker Face , which was renewed for a second season in 2023, for what we can only hope will be a lengthy run.

We Are Lady Parts*

Polite Society filmmaker Nida Manzoor ’s raucous British comedy follows five young Muslim women—four musicians and their mysterious, niqab-rocking manager (Lucie Shorthouse’s Momtaz)—who form a punk band called Lady Parts. From brash, independent Saira (Sarah Kameela Impey) to timid Amina (Anjana Vasan), a grad student searching for her perfect arranged marriage, the characters are a study in contrasts that subtly counters pop culture’s monolithic depictions of women from Islamic backgrounds. Yet We Are Lady Parts is no dutiful study in representation; it’s hilarious, and packed with songs bound to get stuck in your head.

Pete Davidson plays himself, Curb Your Enthusiasm style, in this underrated comedy set in his home borough of Staten Island. Like his best work, Bupkis (usually) strikes the right balance between sophomoric humor and honest depictions of fame, addiction, mental illness, and family relationships. Speaking of which— Edie Falco and Joe Pesci co-star, wonderfully, as Pete’s mom and grandfather. Word to the wise: skip the first episode, which is both idiotic and unnecessary.

Killing It*

The Office fan favorite Craig Robinson stars in this extremely dark, addictively serialized comedy as Craig Foster, a broke, divorced dad and aspiring saw palmetto entrepreneur chasing the American dream—of becoming obscenely rich. Unlike his savvy, career-criminal younger brother, Isaiah (Rell Battle), Craig is determined to make his fortune honestly. Wild adventures ensue, as he meets gig-working weirdo Jillian Glopp (Claudia O'Doherty) and the pair enters a contest that offers a $20,000 prize for killing the most specimens of an invasive snake species. Killing It is one of TV’s sharpest satires of 21st century economic inequality, so here’s hoping that the two seasons that have already been released are soon followed by a third.

Everything I Know About Love*

Author Dolly Alderton adapts her own perennially best-selling memoir that recounts her misadventures as a single 20-something in London. Warm, breezy, and peppered with lighthearted early-2010s debauchery, Everything I Know About Love is just as perceptive about friendship and the precarity of post-collegiate existence as it is about romance. Of particular note is A Small Light star Bel Powley’s empathetic performance as protagonist Maggie’s (Emma Appleton) sweet, unglamorous, often-neglected best friend, Birdy.

The Resort*

Andy Siara, the master of surreal humor who brought us Lodge 49 and Palm Springs , teams up with ultra-charming stars Cristin Milioti and William Jackson Harper on this comedic thriller about a couple who book a trip to Mexico in a desperate attempt at healing their broken marriage. The pace is quick, the twists many, and the supporting cast stacked with the likes of Nick Offerman , Luis Guzmán, and character-actor power couple Dylan and Becky Ann Baker.

You’ll need Netflix to access the most recent, third season of Meredith Scardino’s comedy about a Y2K-era girl group that reunites 20 years after their 15 minutes of fame, which is executive produced by Tina Fey and shares much of her feminist-minded sense of humor. But, happily, the first two seasons of the erstwhile Peacock original are still available here. Watch for gloriously zany performances from Sara Bareilles, Busy Phillips, Paula Pell, and especially Renée Elise Goldsberry , plus a soundtrack of sharp pop parodies that are just as catchy as the real thing.

A Walmart-like big box store is the setting for this standout late-2010s sitcom that stars America Ferrera and Ben Feldman as retail employees with eyes for each other. Part classic workplace comedy, populated by lovable oddballs, part commentary on the state of America’s massive service industry, Superstore will be remembered for its thoughtful engagement with such timely issues as immigration and the plight of essential workers during COVID-19 lockdown.

Tina Fey set the tone for network comedy in the 21st century with this wildly referential—and often just wild—sendup of her former gig as head writer at SNL . Fey’s schlumpy, quasi-feminist showrunner alter ego, Liz Lemon, clashes brilliantly with an old-fashioned, alpha-male boss played by Alec Baldwin . Tracy Morgan and Jane Krakowski provide comic relief as a pair of very different but equally narcissistic and bird-brained cast members. And 30 Rock ’s joke-packed deglamorization of an industry Fey knows well makes it perhaps the sharpest sitcom of its time.

Parks & Recreation

Writer and producer Michael Schur has been an essential presence at NBCU for the past two decades, cranking out warmhearted comedies like the American Office , Brooklyn Nine-Nine , and Peacock’s Rutherford Falls . If you watch only one of his shows… well, make it The Good Place , which is only streaming on Netflix. But if you watch only one of his shows on Peacock , it should be this sitcom starring Amy Poehler as a cheerfully ambitious government cog in a small Indiana city. Be warned: Parks & Rec ’s Obama-era optimism feels dated in the 2020s. If you can get over that (and a lackluster first season), though, a cast that includes Rob Lowe, Adam Scott, Aubrey Plaza, Rashida Jones, Nick Offerman, Aziz Ansari, and, for better or worse, a pre-action-hero Chris Pratt—many of them in star-making roleks—is pretty hard to beat.

Elizabeth Meriwether, who would go on to helm Hulu’s excellent Theranos docudrama The Dropout , made her name as the creator of what might well be the last great network hangout comedy. Zooey Deschanel stars as Jess, a cute, allegedly dweeby teacher who, after a messy breakup, moves in with a loft full of dudes—one of whom (Jake Johnson’s Nick) inevitably turns out to be her soulmate. Gimmicky at first, the show quickly improved thanks to fizzy writing and an ideal cast that also featured Lamorne Morris, Damon Wayans Jr., Hannah Simone, and, in a breakout role as metrosexual (hey, it was the early 2010s) cad Schmidt, Max Greenfield.

The Office UK

Don’t worry—Peacock has all nine seasons of the bloated yet beloved American Office , plus seven seasons’ worth of expanded “superfan episodes,” for those who crave an even slower burn for workplace-romance icons Jim and Pam. But the real treasure is Ricky Gervais ’ British original, which ran only 14 relentlessly bleak episodes, each one an airtight case for the argument that what administrators call company culture is a contradiction in terms.

Absolutely Fabulous

The best British sitcom of the ‘90s—and one of the funniest shows ever made—is on Peacock. Comedy legend Jennifer Saunders stars as Edina Monsoon, a ‘60s wild child turned fashion publicist who worships at the bedazzled altar of Christian Lacroix, despite looking ridiculous in his clothes. Together with best friend Patsy Stone (a hilariously dazed Joanna Lumley), Eddy endeavors to achieve eternal youth. One obstacle to this fantasy is her poor, square daughter, Saffron (Julia Sawalha). The premise yielded roughly a quarter-century of laughs and set the stage for the madcap female-fronted comedies of today. Eddy and Patsy stumbled drunkenly so Abbi and Ilana (and Liz Lemon and Rebecca Bunch and Fleabag , etc.) could do full-on pratfalls.

The Thick of It

If you liked Veep , you’ve gotta check out creator Armando Iannucci ’s previous project, a BBC comedy that uproariously—and with plenty of floridly profane dialogue—sends up the bureaucracy of British politics as practiced by a fictional Department of Social Affairs and Citizenship (a.k.a. DoSAC). Before he was Doctor Who ’s 12th Doctor, Peter Capaldi gave a standout performance as Malcolm Tucker, the prime minister’s temperamental director of communications. Sadly, the equally great spin-off movie, In the Loop , isn’t on Peacock, but you can stream it on free, ad-supported services including Tubi and the Roku Channel.

It’s a shame that, in the 2020s, it’s impossible to say Roseanne Barr ’s name without grimacing —because in the late 20th century, she was both the face of and the driving force behind the rare family sitcom that did justice to the struggles of working-class Americans. Barr’s politics may not hold up these days, but Roseanne ’s feel as fresh and pithy as ever, featuring ahead-of-their-time storylines about same-sex marriage, abortion, and the fallout of a recession.

Saturday Night Live

Nearly half a century after its 1975 debut, Saturday Night Live , for all its many highs and lows , remains a one-of-a-kind TV institution that has launched three generations’ worth of comedy stars. Peacock has all 49 seasons, which means you can dip into any golden era you please, from Gilda Radner , John Belushi, and Bill Murray ’s pioneering ’70s run to Eddie Murphy carrying the whole show in the early ’80s to Tina Fey’s girl-power era at the turn of the millennium, anchored by Amy Poehler , Maya Rudolph , Kristen Wiig , and Rachel Dratch . You can also keep up with new episodes, as they air, from a current lineup featuring breakouts like Bowen Yang and Chloe Fineman . And if you love SNL , consider checking out the shorter-lived but more consistently hilarious Canadian cult sketch comedy The Kids in the Hall , also on Peacock.

Also of note: Modern Family , Brooklyn Nine-Nine , Grand Crew , Everybody Loves Raymond , Everybody Hates Chris , George Lopez , Extras , Coupling , Good Times , Sanford and Son , The Carol Burnett Show , The Dick Van Dyke Show

Best Drama Series on Peacock

Mrs. davis*.

Co-creator Damon Lindelof , of Lost , The Leftovers , and Watchmen fame, teams up with GLOW standout Betty Gilpin in this wild, hard-to-classify adventure story about AI , religion, and the quest for deeper meaning that defines any examined life. Mrs. Davis is not a perfect show—the quirk quotient might be a bit high for some viewers—but it deserves a lot more attention than it received upon its 2023 release. Lindelof’s ambition is bracing, while Gilpin’s performance as an unconventional nun is dynamic and endearing. And the limited series does a remarkable job of balancing action and pathos, comedy and drama, high-level ideas and goofy fun.

The Capture*

When Peacock launched in 2020, this British surveillance thriller was the best of the service’s original offerings . Fast-paced, cerebral, and deeply paranoid, its tale of a soldier (Shaun Emery, in a BAFTA-winning performance) acquitted of murder only to turn up in CCTV footage attacking his lawyer turned love interest, is a bit like The Conversation for the era of deepfakes.

Downton Abbey

Despite its Masterpiece pedigree, Julian Fellowes’ surprise-hit love letter to the post-Edwardian British aristocracy devolved pretty quickly from high-minded period drama to prestige soap. But however you classify the saga of the Crawley clan’s struggle to maintain their eponymous country estate amid the barbarity of modernization, there’s no doubt that its first few seasons delivered plenty of drama, wit (mostly courtesy of Maggie Smith’s quippy matriarch), pretty dresses, and upstairs-downstairs intrigue. As rumors of an upcoming seventh season continue to swirl, feel free to stop after Season 3’s shocker finale, after which the show’s quality nosedived, and be aware that neither of the two inessential Downton movies is on Peacock.

If you like Poker Face , you absolutely must acquaint yourself with its biggest inspiration , this iconic howcatchem starring Peter Falk as an idiosyncratic, unassuming, but reliably brilliant detective with the LAPD. Standalone episodes ranging from 70 to 95 minutes are essentially short movies, directed by the likes of Jonathan Demme and Steven Spielberg , with an unparalleled list of guest stars that included Johnny Cash, Faye Dunaway, Ricardo Montalbán, Dick Van Dyke, Ida Lupino, Lee Grant, Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner, and so many more.

Also of note: Yellowstone , Suits , Bel-Air , Heroes , Shameless UK, Monk , Law & Order franchise , Murder, She Wrote , Ripper Street , Lonesome Dove , Alfred Hitchcock Presents

Best Reality Series on Peacock

The traitors*.

A combination of a fun premise—the party game Mafia meets the cozy mystery genre—and an excellent host, Alan Cumming, make this Peacock original the best competition show in recent memory. While the American version leans, for better and worse, on established reality TV personalities like Phaedra Parks and Kate Chastain, seasons imported from the UK, Australia, and soon New Zealand recruit regular people from all walks of life to sniff out the “traitors” in their midst who are slowly “murdering” cast mates in hopes of stealing a six-figure cash prize.

The Real Housewives franchise

Nearly 20 years and over 1,500 episodes in, Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise remains one of the most enduring and influential reality TV powerhouses of all time. While the Bravo empire has been facing somewhat of a reckoning of late, the 10 Housewives iterations currently on the network’s roster—along with spin-offs like Vanderpump Rules —continue to shape culture, fuel discourse, and serve up an abundance of memeable moments.

Most of the cities have had their own run of golden years, but as things stand now, Beverly Hills, Miami, and, of course, Salt Lake City, are leading the pack in terms of compelling cast chemistry, riveting drama, and over-the-top personalities. And we have the "receipts, proof, timelines, screenshots” to prove it. —Megan McCluskey

Vanderpump Rules

If Beverly Hills alum Lisa Vanderpump wasn’t on hand to dispense tough love to the servers, bartenders, and self-styled superstar DJs who populate this workplace docusoap, it would be easy to forget it’s a Real Housewives spin-off. Because now, in the wake of 2023’s tabloid-consuming “Scandoval” storyline , Vanderpump Rules is one of the most talked-about TV series in any genre. What’s most remarkable about the show is its longevity. What began as a gossipy peek behind the gauzy curtains of Vanderpump’s West Hollywood restaurant SUR has hardened, over a decade’s worth of drunkenness, infidelity, and bar fights, into an institution. Fans of what has become the defining soap opera of the millennial generation have watched a cast introduced as 20-somethings date, marry, divorce, and emerge at the gates of middle age, some wiser for the wear than others. The show even has a spin-off of its own, The Valley , which follows some cast members as they decamp to the suburbs in pursuit of late-onset adulthood.

Below Deck franchise

Part upstairs-downstairs drama, part workplace comedy with all the salaciousness (and tears) of a dating competition, Bravo’s Below Deck is the nautical reality series you never knew you needed. Each season of the show, which over the years has expanded to include four spin-offs, centers on a captain and their crew as they work hard and play harder while catering to a rotation of ultra-wealthy guests who charter their luxurious superyachts. As might be expected when a cast is sequestered on a boat for six weeks (the length of filming), tensions build and emotions run high, making the show a rich text for conflict, desire, and pathos, heightened by the class politics inherent to the setup. —Cady Lang

Project Runway

Bravo is best known these days for its docusoaps, but in its slightly more prestigious years, it set the template for creative competitions with this search for the next big fashion designer. Project Runway ’s first five seasons—especially the character-packed debut and Season 4, featuring the series’ biggest success story, Christian Siriano—which preceded a temporary move to Lifetime that blunted its edge, are classics. But it’s remained fairly watchable since then, even as original host Heidi Klum, mentor Tim Gunn, and sassy judge Michael Kors have left and been replaced by adequate but less-entertaining industry luminaries (including Siriano).

Tom Colicchio ’s culinary sister show of sorts to Project Runway surpassed its predecessor a while back. Alumni like Carla Hall , Richard Blais, Kwame Onwuachi , Melissa King, the Voltaggio brothers, Stephanie Izard, and many others have become renowned restaurateurs, food-TV personalities, and in some cases both; Season 10 winner Kristen Kish just returned to replace longtime host Padma Lakshmi . From its early, cutthroat years to its more recent embrace of diverse contestants and cuisines , Top Chef remains TV’s single best cooking competition.

Maybe it’s technically a game show more than a reality show, but however you categorize it, the original Japanese Iron Chef is a classic, pitting dozens of challenger chefs against an in-house trio of masters in French, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine. The long-running series’ 1993 premiere predated Top Chef , Chopped , and Hell’s Kitchen , and spawned American adaptations on Food Network and Netflix. To this day, none of its successors can touch Iron Chef 1.0 for sheer strangeness (cod roe ice cream, anyone?) and exuberance about the culinary arts.

Also of note: Keeping Up With the Kardashians , Love Island franchise (minus the UK original), Bad Girls Club franchise, The Voice

Cady Lang and Megan McCluskey also contributed to this list.

Below deck sailing yacht: what we know about charter guest jess.

Jess Cimato made quite a name for herself in the latest episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Learn more about the outspoken charter guest.

Fans of  Below Deck Sailing Yacht  season 2 love the drama that the show's charter guests bring, and we're here to share information about one of those guests, Jess Cimato. From unpredictable weather to arguments between guests to boat crashes, the last few episodes   have been nothing less than chaotic and drama-filled. The group of women who have been sailing around Croatia in the twelfth, thirteenth, and fourteenth episodes of the season   is rumored to be the most challenging bunch the crew has dealt with. The guests spent their time on the yacht drinking, making ridiculous requests, and tearing each other down, with most of the drama being stirred up by Bianca Natalia.

After accusing the rest of the women on the charter of gossiping about her, bullying her, and being jealous of her beauty, co-primary charter guest Jess stepped in and voiced her thoughts about Bianca's claims, with the support of the other women. This led to an intense argument that had the crew running to eavesdrop. It wasn't the first hostile encounter between the two women. Earlier on in the trip, Bianca sported a Trump bikini and made a politically charged statement that upset the other women and fans. Jess once again voiced her concerns, making sure that it was clear that she didn't want to get into anything political.

The 35-year-old New Jersey native also wasn't afraid to speak her mind with the season 2 cast . She called out first mate Gary King and chief engineer Colin MacRae after she spotted them gossiping about the group of women being a handful. Jess definitely knows how to hold her own on camera, most likely due to her time on the first season of VH1's competition show  You're Cut Off  back in 2010. Her mom signed her up for the show after Jess completed an internship in the summer of 2009. Her mother did so because she wanted her daughter to be more independent. She was one of nine pampered contestants from around the USA who competed in challenges (and worked with a life coach) to become responsible and independent adults. Since competing on the show, Jess made a number of TV appearances. She was on an episode of Dr. Phil .

The reality show You're Cut Off is where she met co-primary charter guest Erica Rose , who has spent her fair share of time on reality tv shows. It's unclear how Jess knows the other women on the charter, but it is crystal clear that she and Bianca don't have much of a friendship. Jess and Erica now host the "Cutting Loose" podcast together, where they talk about anything and everything, including marriage, work, and parenting. The podcast can be found on Spotify, iHeartRadio, and iTunes, and new episodes are released weekly. See Jess below:

Along with her time on reality TV, Jess is also an avid traveler. Aside from the trip to Croatia to film the show, the surgeon's assistant has traveled to a number of European countries, including England, France, Italy, and Spain, alongside her husband. She has also taken multiple trips to the Bahamas and the Dominican Republic and has explored parts of Mexico, plus a number of islands in the Caribbean. Jess's bold ways are making waves on the show.

A look at the most expensive superyachts at the Palm Beach yacht show and their insane features, from basketball courts on deck to ice baths and saunas

  • The Palm Beach International Boat Show kicks off later this week.
  • Eight megayachts are expected to be on display for would-be buyers and charter customers.
  • These are the show's biggest yachts — and how many millions of dollars they are going for.

Insider Today

The Palm Beach International Boat Show — the yacht world's flashiest event stateside — is returning this year with over 800 boats for both deep-pocketed potential owners and window shoppers to peruse.

While it's impossible to know what exactly will be on display until the show begins on Thursday, it's expected that eight megayachts — generally defined as ships over 60 meters long — will be docked at the show and at nearby marinas like the Rybovich Marina in the ritzy Florida town.

Some of these are for sale at eye-popping prices, but others are available to charter in case you fancy living like a billionaire for a week or two this summer (and if you have six figures to spare on a vacation).

These are the eight biggest yachts that will be at the Palm Beach International Boat Show and nearby marinas, in size order.

Nero: 90.1 meters

Price: From $497,000 a week (charter) Standout features: Pizza ovens, beauty salon, massage room, resistance pool

Reportedly owned by Irish billionaire Denis O'Brien, Nero is modeled after J.P. Morgan's 1930s ship , and was built in 2007 and updated in 2021.

She now boasts a gym on her sundeck with multiple cardio machines and a beauty salon, and has an on-board beautician for manicure, pedicure, hair, and massage needs. There's also an upgraded movie theater, two new pizza ovens, and both a pool and a jacuzzi.

For those who want to go overboard, she has more than a dozen toys, including a waterslide, Jet Ski, and flyboard.

Victorious: 85 meters

Price: From $876,600 a week in the summer and $950,000 a week in the winter Standout features: Hammam (Turkish bath), wine cellar, wood-burning fireplace, children's playroom

Victorious brings a party vibe to the yacht show. With a beach club on board, a wine cellar, a cigar clubroom , multiple bars, and a lounge with a piano, the vessel is made for entertaining. Plus, there's a playroom and movie theater to entertain the kids.

For tamer charter clients, Victorious has a suite of wellness features such as a gym, massage room, beauty salon and hammam — perhaps a custom request of her owner, Turkish businessman Vural Ak.

She also boasts a treasure trove of water toys, including Jet Skis, jetsurfs, inflatable kayaks, and scuba equipment.

Casino Royale: 72 meters

Price: TBD Special Features: Infinity pool, helipad, private jacuzzi

Purchased and refitted by car dealer magnate John Staluppi last year, Casino Royale is the latest of his James Bond-inspired yachts (he's also owned an Octopussy and a Skyfall, among others).

Casino Royale has a helipad that turns into a dancefloor, an infinity pool, and a wellness center with a gym and sauna. The owner's cabin has its own deck, which features a private bar and jacuzzi.

However, the boat's price isn't listed, and while she's not necessarily officially for sale, that might change depending on who's prepared to buy, Mr. Bond.

Talisman C: 70.6 meters

Price: $60 million (or from $567,000 a week to charter) Special features: Massage and beauty room, private library

Likely the largest yacht for sale (not just charter) at the show, the Talisman C is a 2011 six-bedroom boat. The owner's cabin comes with an en suite bathroom, dressing room, private library, and crystal chandeliers.

Amenities include a gym, a beauty room, oversized jacuzzi, and a fully equipped bar. Her crew of 19 includes a trained masseuse, and the toy room comes equipped with a wakeboard, eFoil , and WaveRunners.

Joy: 70 meters

Price: From $650,000 a week Special features: Disco club, basketball court, onboard fitness instructor

Superyacht Joy testifies to the fact that owners want as many on-board experiences as they can get.

There's an expansive suite of fitness features, including a basketball court (don't shoot that hoop too hard!), a personal trainer on staff, boxing equipment, and a handful of machines. For post-workout winddowns, there's a spa with a steam room and onboard masseuse. And for entertainment, there's both an outdoor and indoor cinema, and a disco club.

Triumph: 65.4 meters

Price: From $707,600 a week in the summer and $650,000 a week in the winter Special features: Sauna, helipad, banana boat

This 2021 superyacht is named after Triumph motorcycles — a reported favorite of her rumored owner, British businessman Chris Dawson — and even has one on display as an art piece in the upper deck's lounge. The primary suite is 1,400 square feet and has its own study , and there's a sauna, an indoor-outdoor gym, a helipad, and a massage room spread among her six decks.

She boasts an "armada of water toys," including two kinds of Jet Skis, electric water bikes, and a banana boat.

Seanna: 64.5 meters

Price: $54,000,000 (or from $462,000 a week to charter) Special features: marble foyer, movie room, sundeck pool

The recently refurbished Seanna is available for sale and charter.

Her indoor-outdoor gym is on sea level so that passengers can take a dip after a session with the onboard personal trainer. There's also a sundeck pool, a helipad, a two-room massage facility, and, for the more cerebral guests, a library with an electric fireplace.

There are a number of toys on board, including a popular water trampoline and two WaveRunners.

Come Together: 60 meters

Price: $65,000,000 Special Features: DJ and videographer on board, ice bath, sauna

Next-to-new yacht Come Together is looking for a new owner after doing charters during the 2023 season.

The Beatles' influence is evident beyond the yacht's name, with guitars dotting the sky lounge and a crewmember who doubles as a DJ. There's also an outdoor cinema and bar for entertainment and an ice bath and sauna for the day after the party. The owner's suite has a private study and lounge, and each guest cabin has its own ensuite.

The sale includes a number of toys, like Jet Skis, kayaks, and Seabobs.

Palm Beach International Boat Show returns to West Palm Beach waterfront

The Palm Beach International Boat Show returns this week with more nearly 1,000 vessels on display, including super yachts from around the world.

Tickets are on sale now for the show that runs March 21-24 along the West Palm Beach waterfront.

The show, which started in 1982, has grown to a major economic engine for the community, with last year's impact estimated at $1.05 billion statewide — nearly as much as the $1.3 billion Miami International Boat Show, said Alyssa Freeman, executive director of the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County, which owns the boat show.

More: Cool front for South Florida won't be its last even with the first day of spring here

"Palm Beach is really not that far behind Miami, and Miami is the biggest in the world," Freeman said. "That was really exciting."

This year's boat show features an expanded Super Yacht Show at Palm Harbor Marina, showcasing yachts that typically stretch longer than 80 feet and have a variety of luxurious amenities that include hot tubs, crew quarters, dance floors and sun decks.

"We have more super yachts there than we ever have before, and they're even bigger," Freeman said, noting that at 236 feet, the vessel Casino Royale takes the title of largest yacht at this year's show. The title of "most expensive yacht" goes to Come Together, a 196-foot vessel priced at $59.95 million.

"Everybody, when they think about super yachts, they think about Monaco and Miami, but Palm Beach is a real player in these boat shows and the yachting world," Freeman said.

Exhibitors continue to be drawn to the Palm Beach International Boat Show by the opportunity for high sales year after year when compared with other South Florida boat shows, she said.

"I've heard from several of them, this is their favorite show to attend," Freeman said, "And that's why, because their sales are higher at Palm Beach."

The show continues to make headway in improving its sustainability efforts, she said. After reducing single-use plastics, a major change this year is the addition of water bottle refilling stations throughout the show, Freeman said.

"I think that's exciting because everybody's talking about sustainability and how we can be more sustainable," she said. "Every year, we take little steps to be more sustainable."

Freeman said she is excited for this year's AquaZone presented by Nautical Ventures. The attraction showcases some of the "yacht toys" that are new or popular on the market.

"It's so cool, because there are people actually in the water demoing yacht toys, and it's usually the latest and greatest," she said. "There's always something new every year that we've never seen before."

The Palm Beach International Boat Show also features a range of seminars, demonstrations and discussions throughout the weekend, including mental health in yachting, tips to boat to the Bahamas, safe boating to protect sea turtles and how to address active threats and piracy.

Freeman, who has children, said she loves the Kids Fishing Clinics scheduled for noon and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday with captain Don Dingman.

"Captain Don has been doing this for years, and he does a fantastic job," Freeman said. "The kids actually get to go home with a free rod and reel once the clinic is over."

The association produces the Palm Beach International Boat Show with Informa Markets' U.S. Boat Shows division.

"As we gear up for the 2024 Palm Beach International Boat Show, we are excited for our return to Downtown West Palm Beach to celebrate the rich history of this esteemed event," Andrew Doole, president of U.S. Boat Shows at Informa Markets, said in a news release. "Each year, we’re grateful for the warm welcome and support from the community, which truly makes this event a highlight on the calendar for both residents and visitors alike."

Informa also produces the Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary art show happening March 21-24, at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. A Windward VIP ticket to the boat show includes admission to the art show as well.

In addition to serving as a cornerstone festival of spring in West Palm Beach, the boat show launched the Palm Beach International Boat Show Gives Back program to provide hundreds of thousands of dollars in contributions to local nonprofits, Freeman said.

The grant program had a soft launch last year and formalized the boat show's four-decade practice of giving back to the community, Freeman said.

"We're really excited about it," said Freeman, who added that the boat show team is working with the Community Foundation to manage the grant program, which they hope to grow. "That's something that's a super high priority for us."

Money raised through a portion of the boat show's ticket sales, optional add-ons and some related activities goes toward the fund.

The boat show in February announced that the first round of grants totaling $500,000 would go to 25 nonprofits that have marine-related programs or projects, including Florida Fishing Academy, Loggerhead Marinelife Center, Florida Atlantic University, Inlet Grove High School, Palm Beach State College, Sea Turtle Adventures and Friends of Manatee Lagoon.

"We're hoping one day we'll be able to say that it's a million dollars," she said. "So fingers crossed. It relies on the success of the boat show and the support of the community. With that, we will continue to grow."

What: Palm Beach International Boat Show.

About Below Deck Mediterranean

Set amidst the mesmerizing Italian Riviera and the historic façade of Genoa, Italy, it's all hands on deck this season for Capt. Sandy and her team. From outrageous guests to after-hours antics, the boat gets rocked throughout each charter as the crew navigates complicated dynamics and unexpected rifts. In a franchise first, unprecedented staffing changes dominate the season, which tests each department as they struggle to find their sea legs through unforeseen turnover.        Sandy levels up from last season with the 180-foot M/Y Mustique, which challenges her deck crew as they attempt to navigate the busy industrial port with utmost precision. Before they even leave the dock, visa issues tie up two crew members while a department head mismanages important paperwork. Sandy leans on temporary help for the first charter and an unexpected shake-up results in a change of hierarchy. On deck, the crew is overwhelmed by their workload on the oversized vessel as the interior deals with a clash of personalities. Chef Jack wows the guests with his impressive take on local Italian fare, but things start to sour when communication goes south.        Between “friends with benefits” and open relationships, there’s no shortage of boat-mances and boat break-ups. When disagreements impact productivity and former friendships start to implode, Sandy is faced with a wave of difficult decisions.

Six presumed dead after cargo ship crash levels Baltimore bridge

BALTIMORE — A major Baltimore bridge collapsed like a house of cards early Tuesday after it was struck by a container ship, sending six people to their deaths in the dark waters below, and closing one of the country’s busiest ports.

By nightfall, the desperate search for six people who were working on the bridge and vanished when it fell apart had become a grim search for bodies.

“We do not believe that we’re going to find any of these individuals still alive,” Coast Guard Rear Admiral Shannon N. Gilreath said.

Jeffrey Pritzker, executive vice president of Brawner Builders, said earlier that one of his workers had survived. He did not release their names.

Up until then, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore had held out hope that the missing people might be found even as law enforcement warned that the frigid water and the fact that there had been no sign of them since 1:30 a.m. when the ship struck Francis Scott Key Bridge.

Moore expressed heartbreak after officials suspended the search for survivors.

"Our heart goes out to the families," he said. "I can’t imagine how painful today has been for these families, how painful these hours have been have been for these families."

It was a crushing blow to the loved ones of the missing men, who had waited for hours at a Royal Farms convenience store near the entrance of the bridge for word of their fate.

Follow live updates on the Baltimore bridge collapse

The tragic chain of events began early Tuesday when the cargo ship Dali notified authorities that it had lost power and issued a mayday moments before the 984-foot vessel slammed into a bridge support at a speed of 8 knots, which is about 9 mph.

Moore declared a state of emergency while rescue crews using sonar detected at least five vehicles in the frigid 50-foot-deep water: three passenger cars, a cement truck and another vehicle of some kind. Authorities do not believe anyone was inside the vehicles.

Investigators quickly concluded that it was an accident and not an act of terrorism.

Ship was involved in another collision

Earlier, two people were rescued from the water, Baltimore Fire Chief James Wallace said. One was in good condition and refused treatment, he said. The other was seriously injured and was being treated in a trauma center.

Moore said other drivers might have been in the water had it not been for those who, upon hearing the mayday, blocked off the bridge and kept other vehicles from crossing.

“These people are heroes,” Moore said. “They saved lives.”

Nearly eight years ago, the Dali was involved in an accident. In July 2016, it struck a quay at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges in Belgium, damaging the quay.

The nautical commission investigated the accident, but the details of the inquiry were not immediately clear Tuesday.

The Dali is operated and managed by Synergy Group. In a statement, the company said that two port pilots were at the helm during Tuesday's crash and that all 22 crew members onboard were accounted for.

The Dali was chartered by the Danish shipping giant Maersk, which said it would have no choice but to send its ships to other nearby ports with the Port of Baltimore closed.

The bridge, which is about a mile and a half long and carries Interstate 695 over the Patapsco River southeast of Baltimore, was "fully up to code," Moore said.

National Transportation Safety Board Chairwoman Jennifer Homendy said that her agency will lead the investigation and that a data recorder on the ship could provide more information.

"But right now we're focusing on the people, on the families," she said. "The rest can wait."

President Joe Biden vowed to rebuild the bridge and send federal funds.

"This is going to take some time," the president warned. "The people of Baltimore can count on us though to stick with them, at every step of the way, till the port is reopened and the bridge is rebuilt."

Speaking in Baltimore, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg echoed the president's promise.

"This is no ordinary bridge," he said. "This is one of the cathedrals of American infrastructure."

But Buttigieg warned that replacing the bridge and reopening the port will take time and money and that it could affect supply chains.

The Port of Baltimore, the 11th largest in the U.S., is the busiest port for car imports and exports, handling more than 750,000 vehicles in 2023 alone, according to data from the Maryland Port Administration.

Writer David Simon, a champion of Baltimore who set his TV crime drama "The Wire" on the streets of the city he once covered as a reporter, warned online that the people who will suffer the most are those whose livelihoods depend on the port.

"Thinking first of the people on the bridge," Simon posted on X . "But the mind wanders to a port city strangling. All the people who rely on ships in and out."

Timeline of crash

Dramatic video captured the moment at 1:28 a.m. Tuesday when the Dali struck a support and sent the bridge tumbling into the water. A livestream showed cars and trucks on the bridge just before the strike. The ship did not sink, and its lights remained on.

Investigators said in a timeline that the Dali's lights suddenly shut off four minutes earlier before they came back on and that then, at 1:25 a.m. dark black smoke began billowing from the ship's chimney.

A minute later, at 1:26 a.m., the ship appeared to turn. And in the minutes before it slammed into the support, the lights flickered again.

Maryland Transportation Secretary Paul Wiedefeld said the workers on the bridge were repairing concrete ducts when the ship crashed into the structure.

At least seven workers were pouring concrete to fix potholes on the roadway on the bridge directly above where the ship hit, said James Krutzfeldt, a foreman.

Earlier, the Coast Guard said it had received a report that a “motor vessel made impact with the bridge” and confirmed it was the Dali, a containership sailing under a Singaporean flag that was heading for Sri Lanka.

Baltimore's Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapses After Being Struck By Cargo Ship

Bobby Haines, who lives in Dundalk in Baltimore County, said he felt the impact of the bridge collapse from his house nearby.

"I woke up at 1:30 this morning and my house shook, and I was freaking out," he said. "I thought it was an earthquake, and to find out it was a bridge is really, really scary."

Families of bridge workers wait for updates

Earlier in the day, relatives of the construction crew waited for updates on their loved ones.

Marian Del Carmen Castellon told Telemundo her husband, Miguel Luna, 49, was working on the bridge.

“They only tell us that we have to wait and that they can’t give us information,” she said.

Castellon said she was "devastated, devastated because our heart is broken, because we don’t know how they have been rescued yet. We are just waiting for the news."

Luna's co-worker Jesús Campos said he felt crushed, too.

“It hurts my heart to see what is happening. We are human beings, and they are my folks,” he said.

Campos told The Baltimore Banner that the missing men are from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico.

Active search and rescue ends

The Coast Guard said it was suspending the active search-and-rescue effort at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

"Coast Guard’s not going away, none of our partners are going away, but we’re just going to transition into a different phase," Gilreath said at a news conference.

Maryland State Police Superintendent Roland L. Butler, Jr., said it was moving to a recovery operation. Changing conditions have made it dangerous for divers, he said.

Butler pledged to "do our very best to recover those six missing people," but the conditions are difficult.

"If we look at how challenging it is at a simple motor vehicle crash to extract an individual, I'm sure we can all imagine how much harder it is to do it in inclement weather, when it's cold, under the water, with very limited to no visibility," he said.

"There's a tremendous amount of debris in the water," which can include sharp metal and other hazards, and that could take time, Butler said.

'A long road in front of us'

Built in 1977 and referred to locally as the Key Bridge, the structure was later named after the author of the American national anthem.

The bridge is more than 8,500 feet long, or 1.6 miles. Its main section spans 1,200 feet, and it was one of the longest continuous truss bridges in the world upon its completion, according to the National Steel Bridge Alliance .

About 31,000 vehicles a day use the bridge, which equals 11.3 million vehicles per year, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

The river and the Port of Baltimore are both key to the shipping industry on the East Coast, generating more than $3.3 billion a year and directly employing more than 15,000 people.

Asked what people in Baltimore can expect going forward, the state's transportation secretary said it is too early to tell.

"Obviously we reached out to a number of engineering companies, so obviously we have a long road in front of us," Wiedefeld said.
