Tom Brady Throws An Absolute Missile At A Drone While On A $300 Million Yacht
General Assignment Reporter, HuffPost
Tom Brady has a history with boats. Heâs bought the occasional yacht. He threw passes to a Formula 1 driver from one yacht to another at the Monaco Grand Prix. He threw the Super Bowl trophy from a boat, as you do.
Now, the retired quarterback has also thrown a football at a flying drone while aboard a $300 million yacht â and the only question is why it didnât happen sooner. (Watch the video below.)
The seven-time Super Bowl winner teamed up with YouTuber MrBeast , aka Jimmy Donaldson, for the stunt, posted Saturday.
âIf I hit the drone on the first try, maybe I should come out of retirement,â Brady said.
âDad, youâre gonna, like, miss,â his daughter Vivian teased.
Dad didnât miss. With a whip of his Hall of Fame-bound right arm, Brady blasted the drone out of the sky.

He didn’t miss in the video that has received over 64 million views as of this article’s writing. Which had the YouTube star touring a series of yachts, from the sinking ship he bought for a dollar to a $1 billion cruise ship. MrBeast claimed on social media that in the 24 hours since it was published it received the second most in YouTube history; only the infamous Will Smith slap against Chris Rock has received more views in that same time period. An inquiry to YouTube from Robb Report about this claim was not returned.
In the video, Brady also attempted to throw a football from the yacht to a pal of MrBeast who was on a jet ski. He completed the second challenge, but MrBeast’s friend has hands like frying pans and dropped the perfectly thrown ball.
Brady, who is also a yacht-owner , was recently seen in France where he attended the 24 Hours of Le Mans , USA Today reported. He and his Brady Brand were a sponsor for Hertz Team JOTA. He was also at the French Open sitting next to Jelena Djokovic, the wife of Novak Djokovic, who won the tournament and set a record for men’s all-time Grand Slams.
Next year will be a significant one for Brady. He is set to work at FOX Sports as a lead NFL analyst, according to USA Today . He has signed a 10-year contract that’s reportedly worth $375 million. He will start the role in 2024.

Tom Brady hits drone with football from MrBeast’s $300 million yacht
Tom Brady hit a drone off the back of a yacht.
Over the past few weeks, former NFL star quarterback Tom Brady has made it very clear that he is retired from the NFL, but that doesn’t mean he’s retired from doing impressive things with a football. This week, he showed off his arm in an extremely unique way with a display of his arm strength and athleticism from the deck of a $300 million yacht.
This week, Tom Brady hung out with YouTube personality MrBeast on the YouTuber’s massive $300 million yacht. During their hangout, MrBeast gave Brady a challenge.
“I want to see if you can hit my drone out of the sky with a football,” MrBeast said in the video.

“If I hit the drone on the first try, maybe I should come out of retirement,” Brady said in the video.
Brady’s daughter Vivian was not optimistic about his father’s chances of hitting the drone, and Brady agreed, saying “I probably will miss.”
However, Brady did not miss. He drilled the drone from the back of the yacht on his first try. He then was able to throw the ball to one of MrBeast’s friends on a jet ski, hitting him in the hands.
So while he may be retired, it’s clear his arm is still special.

WATCH: GOAT vs. 'Beast': Patriots' Icon Tom Brady Nails Drone, Jokes About Comeback
- Author: Richie Whitt
In this story:
Now that he's finally embracing it, retirement looks pretty good on Tom Brady .
The former New England Patriots quarterback, who hung up his cleats in March after a record seven Super Bowl victories, has already this offseason:
*Agreed to return to Foxboro to be honored at the Pats' Sept. 10 season opener.
*Become co-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
*Told the "weird" truth about Bill Belichick .
*Had dinner with Kim Kardashian.
*Recorded the introduction to the NFL's video about gambling rules .
*Said he wouldn't push his son to play football.
*Stated dating(?) Instagram model Veronika Rajek .
Apparently Brady has more time in the day than us mortals, because in the last week he's added to his retirement "accomplishments."
Sunday he was spotted in the crowd at Sunday's men's final at the French Open in Paris where another pretty decent champion - Novak Djokovic - was attempting to win his 23rd major. That appearance came on the heels of a viral video in which the GOAT of football met the "Beast" of expensive stunts.
Apparently on a yacht at sea, YouTube content creator Jimmy "The Beast" Donaldson challenges Brady to throw a football off the boat and hit a drone.
With his kids chiding him with "you're gonna miss!", Brady - of course - raises the stakes on the challenge.
"If I hit the drone on the first try," he says, "maybe I should come out of retirement."
Not surprisingly, Brady nails the drone with his first pass. And then proceeds to hit another moving target - a man riding a jet ski.

Jimmy Donaldson, better known as YouTube sensation "MrBeast," might be the reason why NFL legend Tom Brady comes out of retirement.
MrBeastâs latest video for YouTube involved the different types of luxury on the high seas, and that led to a run-in with Brady and his kids on a $300 million yacht.
And whatâs a meeting with Brady without some spirals, even if it is on the deck of a vessel.

While MrBeast dropped his opportunity to catch a perfectly thrown ball from Brady â a chance not many get to have now that heâs retired from the NFL â he decided to put the future Hall of Famer on the hot seat.
MrBeast had a drone circling the yacht, and he said that Brady had to knock it down with a thrown football. Brady even challenged himself.

But just as fans have seen so many times, when Brady needs to make the throw, he does it. The drone went into the ocean after Brady clipped it with his pass, and everyone celebrated, including the man who recovered it in the water.
Brady also tried throwing a football to a friend of MrBeast on a jet ski from the yacht, and it was a perfect toss that hit him right in the chest. But MrBeastâs friend couldnât haul it in, which caused some laughter on the yacht.
Brady may have said heâd think about coming out of retirement, but he likely didnât mean it. He was adamant that his second stint of retirement was for real this time around, after quickly changing his mind last offseason to remain with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tom Brady Took Down a Drone With Incredible Throw
A viral video shows seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady throwing a football into a drone from an expensive yacht.
The video was shared by YouTube personality ' Mr. Beast ,' whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson , and featured various yachts before showing Brady, his son, Ben , and daughter, Vivian , on a $300 million yacht. Donaldson then challenges Brady to hit his drone with a football after playing catch.
âIf I hit the drone on the first try, maybe I should come out of retirement ,â Brady joked in the video before nailing the aircraft on his first throw.
Brady announced he's "retiring for good" after 23 NFL seasons in a video shared on his official social media accounts on February 1. The 45-year-old had previously announced his retirement last offseason before announcing his decision to return several weeks later.
Brady is set to become FOX Sports ' lead NFL analyst as part of a deal that was agreed to take place following the conclusion of his playing career, but has publicly stated that he won't start until 2024, taking the next year to spend time with his family and prepare for the job. The San Mateo native also recently purchased ownership stakes in the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders and WNBA's Las Vegas Aces.
Brady is the NFL's all-time passing leader for yards and touchdowns, as well as quarterback wins, among numerous other records.

Tom Brady knocks MrBeast's drone out of air with football on $300m yacht
The quarterback still has some skills when it comes to throwing the pigskin.
Ben Thompson
Tom Brady may have retired from professional American football but he still has a great arm.
In a recent video shared to MrBeast 's YouTube channel, Brady puts his throwing skills to the test while out on a $300 million yacht.
Most people would take it easy while out to sea on a super expensive boat, but MrBeast wanted to make their time on the waves extra interesting.
The 25-year-old YouTuber set a challenge to the former New England Patriots star - to knock his drone out of the air with a football.
And to make it extra tricky, MrBeast flew the drone several yards away from the yacht.
The odds weren't in Brady's favor - the sea can be unpredictable, nerves can build up on camera and footballers aren't usually tasked with knocking drones out of the sky.
Brady's daughter Vivian, who was also on the boat, wasn't too optimistic herself as she told her dad: "You're gonna miss!"
But Brady remained hopeful, remarking: "If I hit the drone on the first try, maybe I should come out of retirement."
Well, he better give his agent a call, because he wiped the drone out on his first attempt.
The 45-year-old announced his retirement earlier this year , sharing the news in a heartfelt Instagram post.
Speaking in the video posted in February, Brady said: "I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke this morning I figured I'd just press record and let you guys know first.
"Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn't change a thing."
Though this wasn't the first time Brady had announced his retirement, as he had done so last year only to change his mind a few weeks later .
Fans applauded Brady at the time of his announcement, taking to the comments to praise the legendary football star .
One wrote: "Thank you for everything."
"Congrats on an unbelievable career," said another. "It was fun to watch!"
A third added: "The greatest to ever do it. New challenges for you to conquer now. No doubts you will... thanks for the memories as a die hard football fan."
While a fourth commented: "Respect! The tone in your voice said a lot. Walking away from a game you love that you can still compete in.
"Your level of obsession, passion, commitment to the game inspired people in many industries outside of the NFL. Youâre one of a kind. Wish you nothing but the very best!"
Whether or not Brady's recent win against MrBeast's drone will reverse his retirement decision remains to be seen.

“If I hit the drone on the first try, maybe I should come out of retirement,” Tom Brady said in a video collaboration with Mr. Beast, where he challenged Brady to throw a football at a drone from his yacht.
Sure enough, Brady cocked his right arm back like we’ve seen him do for two decades and threw the ball to the perfect location, hitting the drone on the right wing.
He later delivered a pass to a friend on a jet ski, but the pass ended up being dropped by the would-be receiver.

The video also featured Brady warming up on the boat for the big throw.
The 45-year-old Brady, who won seven Super Bowls, retired in an emotional video in February when he said he was “retiring for good” from the NFL.
He has primarily not backed off his retirement stance â but a few Dolphins rumors emerged as their quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s health became increasingly uncertain.
For now, he seems perfectly content spending time with his children, as they were present for this video collaboration with the 25-year-old Mr. Beast — YouTuber and philanthropist Jimmy Donaldson.

The video ended up smashing records immediately on YouTube , as the video became the second most-viewed video in the platform’s history.
The video took place on Mr. Beast’s $300 million yacht that Brady pulled up to with his kids.

Tom brady knocks mrbeast's drone out of air with football throw off $300m yacht, tom brady knocks mrbeast's drone out of air ... w/ đ thrown from $300m yacht.
Tom Brady may just have to consider coming out of retirement after all, 'cause the dude's still got a great arm and precise accuracy ... just ask MrBeast , he can tell you all about it.
The mega-viral YouTuber recently posted a new video where he's delving into the different levels of luxury yacht life ... and at one point in his adventure, he runs into TB12 -- who, as we know, has been enjoying life on the high seas of late as he basks in his post-NFL career.
MrBeast gets Tom to agree to a challenge ... try and knock down his drone -- which is hovering in the air at eye level several yards away -- with nothing but a football toss.
Tom actually doesn't think he can do it, but then jokes ... if he gets it in one try, he might have to think about un-retiring. Welp, he's got something to mull over now -- not only did he do it, but he completed another challenge right after that was equally impressive.
Watch for yourself ... the G.O.A.T. has some gas in the tank and then some, it seems. Dude was out there doing Globetrotter trick shots from a freakin' boat -- and it's impressive.
Tom Brady Freaks Out On 'Tower Of Terror' Ride During Disney Day With Kids
A couple takeaways from this ... one, Tom is absolutely reveling in his retirement, which you can see in the clip.
His daughter is there for this whole drone-yacht game, and he's palling around with her throughout all of it. So, he's getting that QT he's been seeking lately.
Also, he clearly still has a competitive edge. Makes ya wonder what's really next for him. đ¤

A former captain of the Bayesian has described the terrifying obstacles facing those trapped in the cabins as the Bayesian superyacht overturned killing seven.
Stephen Edwards, who captained the Bayesian for five years until 2020, told The Telegraph : âThose who stayed curled up in bed were in the worst situation.
âThe storm hit hard, placing them in the melee of flying furniture, glass and other items,â he said adding he had spoken to traumatised crew members.
âInside the cabins, the only way to think of this is that people were lying in their beds one minute, and the next the room was on its side, totally dark, with the door now either in the floor or in the ceiling above.â
It came as divers race to retrieve Mike Lynchâs personal hard drives locked in a safe on the ocean floor, according to reports.
Italian newspaper la Repubblica reported that the tech billionaire, whose clients included MI5, the NSA and the Israeli secret service, didnât trust confidential documents on the cloud and kept two encrypted hard drives in a safe which now lies 49 metres below sea level.
'Mike Lynch files may be target for hostile spy agenciesâ
Divers are searching the sea floor for Mike Lynchâs high-tech hard drives before they can fall into enemy hands reports La Repubblica - Italyâs second-biggest newspaper.
Sources told the paper the disks held: âthe great digital archive of the IT entrepreneur whose clients included the British MI5, the American NSA and the Israeli servicesâ.
The Italian newspaper said the âsuper drivesâ are protected by âcutting-edge encryptionâ.
The Sun reported the drives now could be a target for the hostile spy agencies of Russia, China, and Iran as they seek to steal valuable secrets.
Captain gives his account of tragic sinking
Captain James Cutfield previously gave his terrifying account before invoking his right to remain silent.
According to Correire, he told prosecutors: âSeaman Griffiths came to wake me up and told me that there were 20 knots of wind.
âI looked at the instruments and indeed that was the case. I went out immediately and asked them to warn everyone because I didnât like the situation.â
He said the Bayesian tilted 45 degrees âand remained like that for a bit and then suddenly fell to the right.
âWe were catapulted into the seaâ.
Seaman Matthew Griffiths, 22, said: âWe somehow climbed back up to the bridge and tried to form a human chain to save those who managed to reach that gap from the accommodation deck ... they were struggling on the walls because the boat was lying in the water.
âThe first in the chain was the captain who stretched down. He helped everyone, the ladies, the mother with the little girl ... But we were sinking and unfortunately some didnât make it .â
Mr Griffiths joins fellow Brit Tim Parker-Eaton, 56, and Kiwi skipper James Cutfield, 51, on the official list of those being formally investigated for shipwreck and multiple manslaughter.
Being investigated does not equate to being charged and is a procedural step.
Divers hunting for clues on how Mike Lynchâs superyacht sank make discovery
Italian Navy divers have recovered video surveillance equipment from the wreckage of billionaire Mike Lynchâs Bayesian superyacht that could explain how it sank.
The British tech tycoon âs boat had been moored near the port of Porticello on 19 August when it sank during the early hours of the morning . It is now lying 50m below the surface.
Jabed Ahmed reports:
The video equipment recovered could show if the crews left doors open on the Bayesian superyacht, which might have allowed the vessel to flood
Former captain claims Mike Lynchâs wife was always concerned about boat safety
The wife of Mike Lynch, 57-year-old Angela Bacares managed to escape to safety after suffering cuts from broken glass as she went to try and save her husband and daughter, according to la Repubblica.
The newspaper said she told doctors that at 4am, the boat had tilted and she and her husband were woken up.
Former captain Stephen Edwards told The Telegraph, Ms Bacares âalways wants to know what is happening and what the crew are doingâ.
âShe is always the first person to come up to the bridge if she hears us scuttling about up there. That could explain why she was saved and Mike wasnât.â
Mike Lynch and daughter Hannah were âpart of a united, vibrant, loving familyâ
Family friends of Mike and Hannah Lynch have said the father and daughter were part of a âunited, vibrant, loving familyâ â with the teenager remembered as a âdiamond in a sea of starsâ and the tech mogul as a brilliant storyteller.
Mr Lynch was the creator of software giant Autonomy and had been cleared in June of carrying out a massive fraud related to its 11 billion dollar (ÂŁ8.64 billion) sale to US company Hewlett Packard.
His daughter Hannah had recently finished her A-levels and was due to study at Oxford University.
Sasha Murray, chief stewardess of the Bayesian, said: âThose who knew her will know that Hannah was a diamond in a sea of stars. Bright, beautiful and always shining.
âWhat most people may not have seen was the extraordinarily strong, deep and loving relationship she shared with her parents, whom she adored more than anything.
âWhile swimming with them she often said, if anything ever happened she would save them.
âI have no doubt that the Irish, Latina fire that burns in her soul kept that spirited determination alive.â
It is understood Ms Murray was rescued after disaster struck the yacht.
Seven key unanswered questions around the sinking of the Bayesian
With the Bayesian lying on her side 50 metres underneath the now gentle waters of the Mediterranean, mystery still surrounds how the 56-metre superyacht, sank in the typhoon off the port of Porticello.
Remotely controlled underwater vehicles and cave divers are looking to raise the yacht , which experts will examine in the coming days.
The key unanswered questions around the tragic sinking of the Bayesian
With the search continuing of the sunken Bayesian an investigation has been launched to establish what caused the disaster off the coast of Sicily

Former captain describes horror of those trapped in cabins
Stephen Edwards, who captained the Bayesian for five years until 2020, told the Telegraph that he had spoken to crew members onboard during the sinking who recounted the horrors facing those onboard.
He said: âThe storm hit hard, placing them in the melee of flying furniture, glass and other items.
âSome had made it to the saloon at this point and they are the ones who survived, as their route outside would have been a little clearer.
âInside the cabins, the only way to think of this is that people were lying in their beds one minute, and the next the room was on its side, totally dark, with the door now either in the floor or in the ceiling above.
âCabinets crashed open as the catches were weak, resulting in glassware and crockery falling out. Iâm told almost all the furniture broke loose inside the boat.â
Mike Lynchâs wife, along with 14 others, survived and were rescued by a nearby vessel that was unscathed.
Italian navy recover video equipment
Italian Navy divers have recovered video surveillance equipment from the wreckage of billionaire Mike Lynchâs Bayesian superyacht that could explain how it sank.
The British tech tycoonâs boat had been moored near the port of Porticello on 19 August when it sank during the early hours of the morning. It is now lying 50m below the surface.
Among those killed were Mr Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter Hannah, who had been due to begin studying at Oxford University in September, as well as four other family friends and associates.
What happens now weeks after tragic sinking?
Prosecutors are investigating the captain , New Zealander James Cutfield, and two crew members for possible responsibility in connection with the sinking.
Mr Cutfield is under investigation for possible manslaughter and culpable shipwreck charges. Tim Parker Eaton â the engineer who was in charge of securing the yachtâs engine room â and sailor Matthew Griffith â who was on watch duty on the night of the disaster â are now under investigation for the same possible charges, their lawyer said.
Chief prosecutor Ambrogio Cartosio, who is heading the investigation, has said his team will consider each possible element of responsibility including those of the captain, the crew, individuals in charge of supervision and the yachtâs manufacturer.
Investigators are focusing on how a sailing vessel deemed âunsinkableâ by its manufacturer, Italian shipyard Perini Navi, sank while a nearby sailboat remained largely unscathed. They added raising the Bayesian and examining the yacht for evidence would provide key elements to the investigation.
Maritime director of western Sicily, Rear Admiral Raffaele Macauda of the coastguard, could not confirm how long it would take to retrieve the shipwreck of the sunken yacht, adding recovering the fuel tanks was a âpriority for us because it has environmental knock-on effectsâ.
