With more than enough space for twelve guests, Navilux provides lustrous accommodation in 6 en-suite staterooms. The Master cabin is a luxurious haven that offers both comfort and simplicity. Light, yet cozy, it offers guests a dressing room and his and her bathroom. Charter guests will find Navilux’s living space light, soothing, and practically designed. 1. CHARTER FEE

• Accommodation for a maximum of 12 guests in 6 cabins
• The crew of 8 and their expenses
• Insurance of the yacht

EXTRA – APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): 30% of the charter fee

To cover the following costs, but not limited to:

• Fuel for the main engines and generators
• Fuel for tender and water sports equipment
• Fuel for Personal Watercraft*
• Food and beverages for the Charter Party
• Port and marina fees, anchorages
• National Parks and Parks of Nature entrances
• Shipping agents’ fees
• Custom fees and charter licenses if cruising in Montenegro or Italy
• Other costs for services requested by the Charter Party during the charter such as but not limited to hire or purchase costs of any special equipment placed on board at the Charterer's request, shoreside transport, excursions, and adverse activities (scuba diving, big game fishing, rafting…)

* To drive a Personal Watercraft in Croatia one needs to have a boat driving permit with him/her when on the Personal Watercraft. It is forbidden to allow a person to drive a Personal Watercraft if one does not have a license with him/her. If the person does not have this, it is possible to obtain one while in Croatia. Contact us for more details on Croatian license for Personal Watercraft, but we strongly suggest obtaining one in your country.

Our experience on board Navilux was simply outstanding. The entire crew led by Captain Ante could not be more hospitable, warm, and welcoming. Every aspect of the week was professional and to the highest standard. Superlatives are simply not enough to describe the quality of the boat which although built in 2012 is immaculate and held to the highest standard. Every need is catered to from clean towels and cabins, games for the kids, special food requirements, water activities, etc. The Croatian coast lends itself to easy cruising, secluded anchorages, water clear as gin as well as opportunities to visit small villages and towns on the various islands. The food is almost too much. We had asked for more simple fare for our lunches this trip and were rewarded with salads, fish, and bbq -- Chef Ante is an amazing talent. We had a plethora of fresh seafood as well as pastas and of course, his desserts were a hit EVERY night.... This is a luxury charter in every respect. No one could be disappointed with an experience on board Navilux.. Our entire family continues to rave about our week (and looking forward to more)!

• 13% Croatian VAT
• APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): 30% of charter fee . To cover following costs, but not limited to: fuel for the main engines and generators; fuel for tender and water sports equipment; fuel for Personal Watercraft*; food and beverages for the Charter Party; port fees; national park and parks of nature entrances; shipping agents’ fees; custom fees and charter licenses if cruising in Montenegro or Italy and other costs for services requested by Charter Party during the charter such as but not limited to hire or purchase costs of any special equipment placed on board at the Charterer’s request; shoreside transport; excursions and adverse activities (scuba diving, big game fishing, rafting…).
• Deposit: 50 % of charter fee – immediately, as confirmation of booking. Balance: 50 % of charter fee + other costs – not later than 6 weeks before charter commencement.
• Crew gratitude
• Terms of payment: 50% of the boat rental price after you sign the contract, 50% of the boat rental price 6 weeks before charter date
• Crew gratitude is customary and not in the price included (usually varies from 5% to 15% of the charter fee)
• To drive a Personal Watercraft in Croatia one needs to have a boat driving permit with him/her when on the Personal Watercraft. It is forbidden to allow a person to drive a Personal Watercraft if one does not have a license with him/her. If the person does not have this, it is possible to obtain one while in Croatia. Contact us for more details on Croatian license for Personal Watercraft, but we strongly suggest obtaining one in your country.

Weekly Charter Rates 2024: High Season (16th June - 4 September): €59,000 + 13% VAT + 30% APA Low Season (Until 16th June & From 4 September): €54,000 + 13% VAT + 30% APA

Crew Gratuity: Although discretionary, a crew gratuity of 10-15% of the charter fee is customary.

CYBA/MYBA terms will apply.

APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): APA is an estimate (usually 30% of the charter rate) paid with the balance for covering running costs during the charter (food, drinks, fuel, mooring fees, and anything else that guests might need while on charter). Final accounts will be produced by the Captain at the end of the charter and any unused funds will be refunded in full to the Charterer directly. If the funds are not sufficient, the Captain will advise the Charterer accordingly and bills will be settled upon disembarkation.

Payment conditions: 50% of the charter rate within 7 days of signing the charter agreement, remaining 50%, VAT plus APA, at least 5 weeks before the beginning of the charter.

To drive a WaveRunner in Croatia one needs to have a boat driving permit with him/her when on the WaveRunner. It is forbidden to allow a person to drive a WaveRunner if one does not have a licence with him/her. If the person does not have a license, it is possible to obtain one while in Croatia. Contact us for more details on Croatian licence for WaveRunner. (However, we recommend getting the licence in your country).

Captain: Ante Ercegovic Nationality: Croatian From his earliest years, Ante has been learning how to manage and maintain ships with his grandfather and father. Even before graduating “Cum Laude” at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Split, he couldn’t imagine himself doing anything else other than to follow the footsteps of generations of his ancestors, who were invariably captains and boat owners. After four years on board of the 38m luxury charter yacht Navilux, from 2016 he has completely dedicated himself to the SY AIAXAIA project – from the very idea till the final product. It is clear that Ante knows every corner of MSY Navilux. Ante is an extremely goal-orientated person, focused and very natural in his leadership role. As a project manager and captain of Nvailux, he has chosen very carefully his crew, in order to provide absolutely the best possible service to his charter guests in a pleasant and positive working environment.

Chef:Ante Bašić Nationality: Croatian Ante grew up with intuitive love for food. His mother and grandmother recognised that his interest in cooking is something much more than just a child’s curiosity, so they guided him and supported in his first steps in the culinary world. Ante continued cooking, learning and exploring for years to come. The list of the restaurants where Ante has worked is impressive. He worked his way to get the opportunity to thrive under the mentorship of the most prominent names of Croatian cooking scene. Ante is looking forward to providing MSY Navilux guests the ultimate gourmet experience: the opportunity to create his menus according to previously gathered preferences of charter guests he finds completely liberating.

Steward: Jakša Bučić Nationality: Croatian Jakša has years of experience in hospitality and working aboard yachts. Hospitality is not just a job, it is a passion and way of life. Jakša has proved himself to be a valuable asset to every yacht he has ever worked on, and he is excited to be a part of the professional Navilux crew. Jakša is outgoing, and while he is professional, he also has a great sense of humour which helps anyone feel relaxed in his presence. Jakša loves creating memorable moments for his guests; his experience and knowledge ensure everyone who sails with Navilux will have an amazing holiday.

Stewardess: Karmen Rozic Nationality: Croatian Karmen is a diligent, experienced and professional hostess who makes another great addition to the Navilux crew. Karmen has worked several seasons aboard various yachts and in resorts around the world; in every role, she has pushed herself to grow and learn which is why she comes highly recommended. Karmen is organised, attentive and detail-oriented – all traits required in this role. While Karmen's role is less guest-facing, it is a crucial element of the overall service provided onboard Navilux. Guests will notice and appreciate the care and attention of Karmen's work. In her spare time, Karmen enjoys walking, cooking and gardening.

Stewardess: Melody Rarela Matkovic Nationality: Croatian As a diligent, experienced, professional stewardess Melody has always proved herself to be a valuable asset to every resort and yacht she worked on. She worked for several seasons on different yachts and in resorts around the world, always upgrading the service, team spirit and overall experience of the clients. Melody worked from 2014 – 2016 on SY Navilux, leaving an impeccable reputation among the clients of that yacht, to join SY Aiaxaia in 2017 but this season she is back on Navilux to provide the best housekeeping service. Melody is an organised, attentive, and well-focused person, in control of the situation in her working domain. Although you might not see Melody that much, the results of her work will thrill you. In her spare time, Melody is learning Croatian (tutored by her Croatian husband), enjoys walking, cooking and gardening.

Engineer: Mate Kapic Nationality: Croatian Mate has been on and around the sea since his childhood. A passion for engineering is part of his life as long as he can remember. After 6 years of experience on new-builds or newly-refitted mini cruisers operating in Croatian waters, Mate gained a reputation of the man you want in the engine room of your yacht. Mate brings a great deal of experience and knowledge to ensure the smooth operation of this astonishing yacht, while at the same time makes a great addition to Navilux’s crew, being easy-going, and a diligent team player with no issues to give a hand wherever needed on board. In his spare time Mate loves outdoor activities, fishing, sports and enjoys good movies.

Deckhand: Srđan Smailagić Nationality: Croatian Srđan is a passionate sailor and enjoys everything connected to the sea. After graduation, Srđan completed all safety training and certificates in the Maritime School in Split, and obtained the highest international certificates for his position. Following this, Srđan worked for more than 8 years on yachts and passenger ships sailing worldwide. Most recently, Srđan was aboard luxury yacht Aixaia and now he follows Ante to join as crew aboard Navilux. Srđan has a relaxed and friendly nature which guests feel and appreciate. Whether driving the tender for guests to go ashore or enjoy water-sports, or helping around the yacht, Srđan is always willing to do what is necessary to ensure the best experience for the guests and a positive working atmosphere amongst the crew.

Deckhand: Luka Maric Nationality: Croatian Luka grew up on the sea and fell in love with boats at an early age. His passion enabled him to sail around the world on various passenger ships. Luka was able to choose a new job from many offers that were laid in front of him once he decided to limit his sailing area from worldwide seas to his local, well known and deeply loved Adriatic. Besides his experience, knowledge and other professional qualities that make him an outstanding addition to MSY Navilux’s fleet, Luka is truly a hands-on person who takes every task seriously and completes it in the best way, striving to make your stay on yacht both safe and pleasant as possible.

Description.

Based in Split, the Navilux ultra-deluxe motorsailer is perfectly positioned for luxury yacht charters in Croatia. Six well-appointed cabins sleep twelve guests, and there’s plenty of entertainment on-board – not that you’ll need it when island hopping around the beautiful Adriatic. The enormous salon on the main deck of Navilux will naturally be where you and your guests spend most of your time, relaxing on the large couches and making the most of the on-board crew’s culinary talents at the dining table. The yacht also has a bar, an extensive sunbathing area, and a spa pool situated on the foredeck, perfect for watching a sunset or gazing over the Adriatic.

Motor yacht Navilux boasts a wealth of convivial spaces, perfect for luxury yacht charters with families of friends, offering ample opportunities to kick back and relax, or enjoy the water on the yacht's array of water toys, the choice is yours.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 2012, Navilux offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising a master suite, four double cabins and one twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

You and your guests can enjoy a variety of experiences on Navilux, notably a deck jacuzzi, perfect to enjoy the scenery with your favourite drink in hand.

Whatever your activities on your charter, you'll find some impressive features are seamlessly integrated to help you, notably satellite communications, keeping you connected on any voyage. At night, guests can enjoy a mesmerizing light spectacle in the water thanks to underwater lights plus with Wi-Fi connectivity you don't have to lose contact with the outside world, unless you want to. Guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

Navilux comfortably cruises at 10 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots.

Equipped with a selection of water-toys Navilux lets you and your guests turn the Mediterranean into your own private playground. Principle among these are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. Also there are two SEABOBs, that allow you to skim along the surface or steer under the crystal water and experience life swimming with the fish. Another excellent feature are wakeboards so guests can show off at speed. If that isn't enough Navilux also features kayaks, fishing equipment, paddleboards and snorkelling equipment. Navilux also sports a 5.1m/16'9" RIB to transport you with ease.

Boasting 37 meters in length, Navilux is a spacious yacht that offers accommodation for a maximum of 12 guests in six superb cabins (five double and one twin bed cabin). Golden elegant cabin will provide you with all necessities and ensure comfortable sleeping. Spacious wardrobes, a plasma TV and a laptop are some of the amenities Navilux provides. Each cabin is fully air conditioned and each has a luxurious bathroom. Top quality wood, glass and ceramics. Get ready for a great night out in these amazing bathrooms.

The interior of Navilux is modern and soothing, complimented with beautifully balanced colors and lines, as the idea was to impose a relaxing yet stylish and elegant atmosphere. In case of bad weather, you will dine in elegant saloon with modern dining table and the most savory food made by our rewarded chef.

Yachts impressive exterior provides a great deal of outdoor space for guests while offering different areas for enjoyment. It gives you a huge sunbathing and lounge area on the top deck and the circular spa on the foredeck. The aft deck is furnished with al fresco dining table and chairs, sheltered from the sun. As well, you can find there some sun mattresses for an additional lounging area. Choose your favorite spot, lie down and relax while the crew makes fancy cocktails for You. Imagine what you can do once you dock while sailing being surrounded with sun bathed views.

Beside the luxury and relaxation, Navilux can entertain you with a variety of water sports. Ride the jet ski or a wave runner around the bays while other have fun on foam floating tubes and floating mats. The little ones can ride a banana or ride the waves on a water tube. The crew will be more than happy to pull them with their tender. Explore our green and rocky environment with a kayak and a stand-up paddle board or investigate what hides in the shallows with snorkeling gear. Whatever you choose you won’t miss, but we ensure you will have the best time of your life.

Of the eight crew members, six have been on board from the first season in 2012. Therefore, we can proudly present to you a team ready to meet, if not exceed, all your expectations. • AGENCY SUPPORT: complimentary assistant who will guide you through your entire yacht journey, all paperwork, assistance in case of emergency, entire support before and during the cruise, organization of extra activities like on shore excursions, transportation or accommodation bookings

• Use of recreational equipment (SUP, kayak, snorkeling gear)
• Crew of 8 and their expenses
• Insurance of the yacht

NOTE: APA to be paid in cash on board or as a wire transfer to shipping agent’s account. Should APA be paid as wire transfer, shipping agent’s commission of 2% will be deducted from the APA.

Captain: Ante Ercegovic

CAPTAIN: ANTE ERCEGOVIC Ante is the 7th generation of captains and boat owners in his family. Some of Ante’s earliest memories are being at sea with his grandfather and father, which instilled a passion for the sea, sailing and tourism. Besides spending time at sea with his family, Ante studied at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Split and graduated “Cum Laude”. Ante was a driving force in the Ercegović family decision to build Navilux – one of the first custom luxury yachts built in Croatia. Ante spent four years aboard Navilux with his father as captain before he dedicated himself to the build of the sister ship Aiaxaia (now OMNIA), where he took the helm as captain. Ante is detail-oriented and a natural leader; he has carefully chosen his crew to provide the best possible service and experience to his guests. DECKHAND: SRDAN SMAILAGIC Srđan is a passionate sailor and enjoys everything connected to the sea. Srđan has a relaxed and friendly nature which guests feel and appreciate. DECKHAND: LUKA MARIC Luka grew up on the sea and fell in love with boats from an early age. This passion took him around the world, working on various passenger ships. Due to Luka’s experience and reputation, he had many job offers but Luka decided to return to his well-known and deeply loved Adriatic Sea. Besides his experience, knowledge and professional qualities, that makes him a great addition to Navilux’s crew, Luka is a hands on person who takes every task seriously and completes it to the highest standard. Luka strives to make guests stay aboard Navilux both safe and enjoyable. DECKHAND: DRAGO DUKIC Drago was working on mini cruisers for five years now and as an experienced deckhand this season he is finally moving into the yachting industry, provided with the opportunity of developing and sharpening his skills. Drago brings a wealth of experience holding a Deckhand and Helmsman certificate, he is a hard worker, consistent, and efficient under pressure. Growing up in the vicinity of the sea and seeing his friends joining the industry one by one, he decided to see what it is all about and fell in love with the job. This love, also runs in the family since his great - grandfather, who was Italian, had an accident with his boat in the Adriatic and ended up recovering and getting married in Croatia where he taught locals how to catch lobsters. Being fluent in English and having an interesting family history at sea, Drago will have stories to entertain the guests onboard. In his free time, he enjoys recreational sports, loves mechanics, and collects model cars. CHEF: ANTE BASIC Ante grew up with an intuitive love for food and cooking. His mother and grandmother recognised that interest as something much more than a child’s curiosity, so they guided and supported him on a path toward the culinary world. After graduating from culinary school, Ante continued to learn, explore and challenge himself. Ante has worked with some of the most prominent names of the Croatian culinary scene. The list of restaurants where Ante has worked is impressive, including the renowned Saints Hills Winery. Ante has been aboard Navilux delighting guests with his cuisine for several years now. Year after year, Ante continues to surprise guests with his world class food. Ante loves the freedom he has in the kitchen to innovate, and he is always looking for ways to improve especially for returning guests. As far as chefs go, Ante has a calm demeanour and is a joy to work with. His attitude sets the tone for a positive working environment. HOSTESS: ANTONIJA BUKTENICA Antonija has been in the yachting industry since 2017, when her friends, owners of gulet Libra offered her a job onboard finding her perfect for it. She justified their trust by staying there for five seasons, sharpening her skills. After graduating from the Faculty of Economics, Antonia still sees herself in yachting, looking for opportunities to grow. Last season she was the Sole stew on a motor yacht, sailing through Greece and this season she is joining a strong Navilux crew team. With her professional and detailed approach to every task and delivering it with a smile and ease she is a perfect choice for any yacht making the interior warm and welcoming. Being fluent in English and Spanish, being experienced, and having an intuitive sense of guests made Antonia an obvious choice for Navilux. When not on board, she enjoys a number of her hobbies, such as water sports, yoga, skiing, CrossFit, extreme sports, Latino dancing, and cooking. STEWARDESS: TINA PARAMAN Tina grew up in Trogir and graduated in Maritime studies in Split. Growing up on the coast, entering the world of Maritime studies and nautical tourism was a natural step. Tina has worked on several large mini cruisers as a waitress, cruising from Opatija to Dubrovnik, and she also worked a few weeks aboard Gulet Pacha as a stewardess last season. This will be Tina’s first season aboard luxury yacht Navilux Tina is more introverted by nature but said she joined the yachting industry to ‘step outside her comfort zone’, and she is excited to grow within the industry and learn from a great team. Tina’s warm, quiet nature is a perfect complement to the Navilux interior team. INTERIOR STEWARDESS: MELODY RARELA MATKOVIC As a diligent, experienced, professional stewardess, Melody has always proved herself to be a valuable asset to every resort and yacht she worked on. She worked for several seasons on different yachts and in resorts around the world, always upgrading the service, team spirit and overall experience of the clients. Melody worked from 2014 to 2016 on SY Navilux, leaving an impeccable reputation among the clients of that yacht, to join SY Aiaxaia in 2017 but this season she is back on Navilux to provide the best housekeeping service. Melody is an organised, attentive, and well-focused person, in control of the situation in her working domain. Although you might not see Melody that much, the results of her work will thrill you. In her spare time, Melody is learning Croatian (tutored by her Croatian husband), enjoys walking, cooking and gardening.

Ante grew up with intuitive love for food. His mother and grandmother recognized  that his interest in cooking is something much more than just a child’s curiosity,  so they guided him and supported in his first steps in the culinary world.  Ante continued cooking, learning and exploring for years to come. After he finished culinary training and obtained a professional chef’s certificate in 2012, Ante’s talent, passion, enthusiasm, and  devotion has been noticed from a very early stage of his career. The list of the restaurants where Ante has worked is impressive.  He worked his way to get the opportunity to thrive under the mentorship  of the most prominent names of Croatian cooking scene.

Some of Ante’s earliest memories are being at sea with his grandfather and father, which instilled a passion for the sea, sailing and tourism. Besides spending time at sea with his family, Ante studied at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Split and graduated “Cum Laude”. Ante was a driving force in the Ercegović family decision to build Navilux – one of the first custom luxury yachts built in Croatia. Ante spent four years aboard Navilux with his father as captain before he dedicated himself to the build of the sister ship Aiaxaia (now OMNIA), where he took the helm as captain. Ante is detail-oriented and a natural leader; he has carefully chosen his crew to provide the best possible service and experience to his guests.<br /> <br /> DECKHAND: SRDAN SMAILAGIC<br /> Srđan is a passionate sailor and enjoys everything connected to the sea. After graduation, Srđan completed all safety training and certificates in the Maritime School in Split and obtained the highest international certificates for his position following this. Srđan worked for more than 8 years on yachts and passenger ships sailing worldwide. Most recently, Srđan was aboard luxury yacht Aixaia and now he follows Ante to join as crew aboard Navilux. Srđan has a relaxed and friendly nature which guests feel and appreciate. Whether driving the tender for guests to go ashore or enjoy water sports, or helping around the yacht, Srđan is always willing to do what is necessary to ensure the best experience for the guests and a positive working atmosphere amongst the crew.<br /> <br /> DECKHAND: LUKA MARIC<br /> Luka grew up on the sea and fell in love with boats from an early age. Luka strives to make guests stay aboard Navilux both safe and enjoyable.<br /> <br /> DECKHAND: DRAGO DUKIC<br /> Drago was working on mini cruisers for five years now and as an experienced deckhand this season he is finally moving into the yachting industry, provided with the opportunity of developing and sharpening his skills. Drago brings a wealth of experience holding a Deckhand and Helmsman certificate, he is a hard worker, consistent, and efficient under pressure. Growing up in the vicinity of the sea and seeing his friends joining the industry one by one, he decided to see what it is all about and fell in love with the job. This love, also runs in the family since his great - grandfather, who was Italian, had an accident with his boat in the Adriatic and ended up recovering and getting married in Croatia where he taught locals how to catch lobsters. Being fluent in English and having an interesting family history at sea, Drago will have stories to entertain the guests onboard. In his free time, he enjoys recreational sports, loves mechanics, and collects model cars.<br /> <br /> CHEF: ANTE BASIC<br /> Ante grew up with an intuitive love for food and cooking. His mother and grandmother recognised that interest as something much more than a child’s curiosity, so they guided and supported him on a path toward the culinary world. After graduating from culinary school, Ante continued to learn, explore and challenge himself. Ante has worked with some of the most prominent names of the Croatian culinary scene. The list of restaurants where Ante has worked is impressive, including the renowned Saints Hills Winery. Ante has been aboard Navilux delighting guests with his cuisine for several years now. Year after year, Ante continues to surprise guests with his world class food. Ante loves the freedom he has in the kitchen to innovate, and he is always looking for ways to improve especially for returning guests. She justified their trust by staying there for five seasons, sharpening her skills. After graduating from the Faculty of Economics, Antonia still sees herself in yachting, looking for opportunities to grow. Last season she was the Sole stew on a motor yacht, sailing through Greece and this season she is joining a strong Navilux crew team. With her professional and detailed approach to every task and delivering it with a smile and ease she is a perfect choice for any yacht making the interior warm and welcoming. Being fluent in English and Spanish, being experienced, and having an intuitive sense of guests made Antonia an obvious choice for Navilux. When not on board, she enjoys a number of her hobbies, such as water sports, yoga, skiing, CrossFit, extreme sports, Latino dancing, and cooking.<br /> <br /> STEWARDESS: TINA PARAMAN<br /> Tina grew up in Trogir and graduated in Maritime studies in Split. Growing up on the coast, entering the world of Maritime studies and nautical tourism was a natural step. Tina has worked on several large mini cruisers as a waitress, cruising from Opatija to Dubrovnik, and she also worked a few weeks aboard Gulet Pacha as a stewardess last season. This will be Tina’s first season aboard luxury yacht Navilux Tina is more introverted by nature but said she joined the yachting industry to ‘step outside her comfort zone’, and she is excited to grow within the industry and learn from a great team. Tina’s warm, quiet nature is a perfect complement to the Navilux interior team.<br /> <br /> INTERIOR STEWARDESS: MELODY RARELA MATKOVIC<br /> As a diligent, experienced, professional stewardess, Melody has always proved herself to be a valuable asset to every resort and yacht she worked on. Melody worked from 2014 to 2016 on SY Navilux, leaving an impeccable reputation among the clients of that yacht, to join SY Aiaxaia in 2017 but this season she is back on Navilux to provide the best housekeeping service. Melody is an organised, attentive, and well-focused person, in control of the situation in her working domain. Although you might not see Melody that much, the results of her work will thrill you. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). It is forbidden to allow a person to drive a Personal Watercraft if one does not have a license with him/her. If the person does not have this, it is possible to obtain one while in Croatia. Contact us for more details on Croatian license for Personal Watercraft, but we strongly suggest obtaining one in your country.

Built in 2011, Navilux represented major turning point in luxury yacht charter in Croatia. It was first among many other yachts to offer yacht charter experience for smaller groups of high-end clients. Her uniquely designed and spacious en-suite cabins (all named after famous Hollywood actresses) offer accommodation up to 12 passengers. 5 of them are double and one is twin, going from 13 – 16 sqm. Exterior offers plenty of options to enjoy during cruise – large deck space for sunbathing, lounge area and jacuzzi. For those who want to stay active, plenty of water toys are available. Managed by family with more than century-long naval history, this yacht with crew of 8 meets the highest standards of today’s charter experience. Despite many larger yachts built after her launch, Navilux remained one of the most popular yachts of her type.

The 37m Navilux is a prime example of the long maritime and shipbuilding history in the country. Built in a small shipyard outside of Split, Navilux is a high quality sailing yacht built to the highest standard. Navilux combines performance with sumptuous styling to be one of the most exciting sailing yachts available for charter in the Adriatic. Bright, open spaces featuring light wood panelling create a relaxing environment indoors, which continues on-deck thanks to several comfy seating areas. Navilux provides spacious accommodation for up to 12 guests, including 5 double en-suite cabins and one twin en-suite cabin. All cabins are fitted with the plasma TV, internet, I-pod docks, a safe, and independently controlled AC units. 

She is attended by 8 crew members including a very talented chef. Available from Split. She is available for charters from Sunday to Sunday.

Russian oligarchs can't buy superyachts — but rich Americans are helping to fill the void

• Superyacht sales fell 17% in 2023, but still stayed above pre-COVID levels.
• Sanctions imposed on Russian oligarchs dented the market, but America helped split the difference.
• Florida, where most US users base their boats, has been doing especially well, one expert said.

Both new and used superyacht sales of vessels longer than 100 feet fell again 2023 — in part due to sanctions imposed on Russian oligarchs.

But steady sales in America are helping to split at least some of the difference.

A total of 203 superyachts were sold globally in 2023 — a 17% drop from the 245 sold last year, according to the SuperYacht Times' annual State of Yachting report .

That's down from 2021's peak of 313 superyacht sales — though the report notes the market still remains high above its pre-COVID levels, and that "any number over 200 is historically still a high number."

Sales for superyachts over 200 feet slowed more than their smaller counterparts due to high pricing and longer build times, according to the report. And the fallout from Russian sanctions will likely impact the market for years to come, especially with respect to the larger ships that Russians have purchased in the past.

"Russian buyers remain largely absent from the newbuild market, which has an impact on the market for large newbuilds in particular," according to the report.

That said, SuperYacht Times' head of intelligence, Ralph Dazert, told Business Insider that sales in America are helping to fill some of the void.

"The strength of the US economy just continues to defy expectations, and Florida (where most of the US owners base their boats) has been doing particularly well," Dazert said. "The top end of the market has been hit by the Russian pullout, but it is beginning to bounce back, with mainly inquiries from the US again."

The US share of overall superyacht ownership stayed steady at 23.6% from 2023 to 2024, according to the report, while Russian ownership continued to decline from 8.1% to 7.8% over the same period.

And while Americans have tended to buy slightly smaller yachts than Russians in the past, Dazert said they are gradually moving up in size.

For new superyachts longer than 130 feet, Russia's share (now at 6%) has declined over the past decade, while the US share (29%) has continued to increase, the report found.

The report concludes that the superyacht market could see "further slowdown" in 2024, citing the conflict in the Middle East and the US presidential election — an event that's sometimes thought to impact sales.
