Learn About Leonard DiCaprio's Yacht: Topaz

When you think about Leonardo DiCaprio, images of an eco-conscious crusader who is out to improve the health of the planet may first emerge. Recent rumors that Leo plans to attend the 2018 World Cup events in Brazil aboard a yacht seem a bit contradictory because of the pollution that these floating luxury hotels churn into the air and water.

While some have criticized him for indulging in a bit of heaven at the expense of the planet, if he wasn't doing it, somebody else would be. At least he's making an attempt to help the situation when he can. All of that aside, we were curious to find out more about Leonardo DiCaprio's Yacht, and here is what we discovered.

Leo doesn't own the yacht

DiCaprio hasn't actually purchased a yacht. Instead, he rented it from owner, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Mansour is a billionaire politician who is the current prime minister of the United Arab Emirates.

The mega yacht was custom built according to his grand and luxurious specifications and named the Topaz. Until recently, the interior of the yacht has remained a well-guarded secret. We've learned some juicy tidbits that we're happy to share.

Specifications of the Topaz

The super yacht measures a total of 453 feet in length with a cost of more than $200 million in USD to build and an estimated value of $678 million. This isn't the biggest yacht that Mr. DiCaprio has chartered, but it's likely to be one of the most luxurious.

The yacht is powered by four M90 diesel engines which generate approximately 48,000 horse power. The ship made its maiden launch in 2012 and according to sources, DiCaprio also rented it in 2014 just 2 years into its service run.

The Topaz is rumored to be one of the most extravagant yachts in the world . It offers smooth sailing with the installation of zero speed stabilizers. It comes fully outfitted with lifts that ferry guests comfortably among the eight deck levels to the host of amenities that are scattered throughout the massive vessel.

It is decked out in full luxury and comfort with a cinema, two hot tubs, air conditioning throughout, three swimming pools, a fitness hall, underwater lights, an ample sized conference room and a well hidden interior design that is left up to our imaginations.

Leo won't be making the trip alone. We've learned that he has a list of guests that will accompany him on thee yacht as he enjoys the football tournament in Brazil.

There were 21 of his friends, all of millionaire status mind you, invited to enjoy the amenities. It's been reported that DiCaprio and his pals hopped a jet and flew to Rio de Janeiro to arrive one day prior to kick off of the Brazil World cup.

The controversy the rental has stirred

While some are happy that Leo had a nice luxury vacation , others are upset about the seeming nose thumb to environmentalists who think his actions are careless.

There has been a degree of judgment and sentiments of disappointment to outright damnation sent his way. Activists point out that Leo's private jet that made thee 8000 mile trip left a hefty carbon footprint. This is besides the emissions put out from the luxury mega yacht. They're citing his actions as not being environmentally responsible.

Why the uproar?

The backlash has come after the fact that DiCaprio made a plea to viewers to work with one another to help fight climate change when he accepted his first ever Oscar award. DiCaprio's involvement in Hollywood environmentalism can't be denied.

He dedicates time to fly here and there to pick up awards for his contributions to help clean up the environment, but when he flies to and fro, his carbon footprint grows.

There has been a volley of insults and comments disapproving of Leo's actions, but isn't this how Hollywood environmentalism works? It's kinda tough to get to Brazil without flying or chartering a boat to take you there.

It's a drama that has been ongoing since Leo's plans were first revealed but it seems that he could at least score a few points for encouraging us all to make some kind of effort.

It's not easy being the center of attention and there are times when best intentions draw a backlash of negativism, despite the fact that most of us rely on some type of carbon emitting transportation resources.

I Salute Leonardo DiCaprio and His Big-Ass Yacht

The man is having the summer vacation of our dreams.

This week, he did exactly that, while cruising around the Amalfi coast in his private yacht. DiCaprio invited his dad, stepmom, and niece along for the ride. Some may find that excessive! They might wonder, Why charter a big-ass boat for just four people? Wouldn’t a smaller ship be easier to manage? I think the answer is pretty simple: Because it's fun! And Leonardo DiCaprio has yacht money! I’d do the same. Wouldn’t you?

Page Six obtained pictures from the affair, showing DiCaprio lounging around his floating estate and jumping in the choppy water.. Thankfully, there were no icebergs around to ruin the fun. This feels like a nice moment for the actor to relax after promoting his latest movie, Killers of the Flower Moon , at the Cannes Film Festival. (When I want to relax, I walk around the block and get a Big Gulp from 7/11. But, alas, this isn’t about me, and I doubt Leonardo DiCaprio drinks Big Gulps from 7/11.)

The actor's upcoming movie is based on David Grann’s popular nonfiction book, Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI . DiCaprio stars in the project alongside Robert DeNiro, Jesse Plemons, Brendan Fraser, John Lithgow, and Lily Gladstone. The crime drama follows a series of murders that affect the indigenous Osage Nation after oil is found on their land. When more and more people go missing, the FBI swoops in to investigate.

Killers of the Flower Moon will premiere in theaters on October 2. That gives good ol’ Leo at least a few more months to relax before hopping back into movie-star mode. I, for one, can’t wait to see what he does next.

Leonardo DiCaprio Jumps Off Yacht While Vacationing with Tobey Maguire in Saint-Tropez

The longtime friends have been enjoying a sun-soaked summer getaway to the South of France

Leonardo DiCaprio is making a splash on his summer vacation.

The actor and his longtime friend Tobey Maguire were spotted enjoying their time on a yacht in Saint-Tropez on Thursday. Dicaprio even jumped off the deck into the Mediterranean.

The Oscar winner, 48, was seen shirtless, sporting blue board shorts and a silver pendant necklace as he took the plunge.

Meanwhile, Maguire, 48, joined him on the sizable boat, also going shirtless and soaking up some sun. The Spider-Man actor wore a similar bathing suit, topping if off with a baseball cap and a pair of sunglasses. 

 The pair were also seen this week enjoying time offshore near the celeb-favorite hangout,  Club 55 , which DiCaprio has visited in the past. Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica also visited in late June aboard a yacht.

The yachting adventure comes about a month after DiCaprio and his The Great Gatsby co-star were spotted leaving Hôtel Costes in Paris in late June. They were also photographed going to Hotel Plaza Athénée , where they attended an event with LeBron James.

Speaking about their friendship, Maguire told PEOPLE in 2013, "[Leo and I] are like any other buddies. There's a lot of laughing and chatting between us. We enjoy doing a lot of things we have in common, like basketball. We like to play and talk about basketball."

As to what brings them together, the actor added at the time: "Leo and I have a lot of trust and respect for each other. We have a close friendship, and I definitely have an affection for Leo."

DiCaprio isn’t the only one getting adventurous on the water On Thursday, Brooklyn Beckham was spotted riding aboar a superyacht in the same spot with his wife Nicola Peltz . The internet chef and photographer showed off his tattoos as he jumped shirtless off the deck of the couple’s boat.

And let’s not forget his recent reunion with rumored love interest Gigi Hadid . It was during a big dinner party, which also included his dad, stepmom and a few others, so it’s not clear whether there was any PDA, but it was nice to see them together again. And then, they were seen arriving at the same hotel — in separate cars — the next night, so Leo is definitely living it up this summer.

Leonardo DiCaprio is living it up in Miami, and was seen partying on Wednesday night on a Swedish billionaire’s yacht.

The “Titanic” star was spotted at biotech billionaire Ernesto Bertarelli’s floating bash aboard his $150 million superyacht, Vava II.

A source tells us DiCaprio — who split from Camila Morrone this summer, and has been linked to model Gigi Hadid — was hanging out with posse members Tobey Maguire and Helly Nahmad at the model-heavy bash hosted by his pal and de facto social director Richie Akiva.

We hear the party started after midnight and raged till 5a.m. with guests including Venus and Serena Williams, Jared Leto, art dealer Vito Schnabel, tennis pro Reilly Opelka, venture capitalist Vivi Nevo, diplomat Paolo Zampoli, and the requisite slew of “like one hundred” models.

One source told us, “There were like a hundred models. I have literally never seen more models in my life, no one was ‘normal’ looking. It was models, models, models.”

Another source tells us, “There was a group of girls that were wearing beaded dresses with nothing underneath at all, no underwear. You could see everything.”

A source tells us DiCaprio was heard chatting with Bertarelli — whose estimated worth is $8.5 billion , and whose family foundation focuses on marine conservation — about “saving the oceans.”

The “Great Gatsby” star has his own foundation and is an environmental activist.

Then again, a report in Fast Company last year stated, “A superyacht with a permanent crew, helicopter pad, submarines, and pools emits about 7,020 tons of CO2 a year, according to our calculations, making it by far the worst asset to own from an environmental standpoint.”

DiCaprio had previously attended a party on Bertarelli’s yacht over the summer in St. Tropez .

Earlier in the night, DiCaprio attended Sean Penn’s annual event for his Core charity at Soho Beach House, where “The Revenant” star auctioned off an art piece from his private collection.

The bash, which raised $1 million, brought out Diplo, Soleil Moon Frye, hotelier Alan Faena and Rande Gerber, and featured a performance by Wyclef Jean.

The private event took over the entire beach, leaving some Soho House members stuck indoors.

“There had to be 500 people outside trying to get in,” says a source. “There were so many cops and security on site for the event. It was like Fort Knox.”

DiCaprio has had a busy week: On Tuesday, he was spotted partying with “beautiful women” and friends in the VIP section at a party for Stone Island’s 40th anniversary at Miami’s RC Cola Plant.

Earlier the same day, he was spotted at Art Basel, eyeing edgy art .

Leonardo DiCaprio goes on and on about his environmental activism but he’s not above taking a helicopter from his yacht to land.

Go on Leo’s social media feeds and while he is famous for not detailing his private life, he isn’t lacking passion — albeit, about the environment and climate action.

But the Oscar winner doesn’t always back up his beliefs.

The actor-activist is reportedly in Italy — more specifically, the waters near the Italian shore – where he is vacationing on his yacht, as celebrities do, according to German newspaper Bild.

For visits to the countryside, whether it be lunch or dinner or a nightclub, DiCaprio reportedly hops on a helicopter while aboard his luxury liner and heads to land — and back, of course.

La dolce vita at the expense of the environment? What would fellow celebrity climate activist Greta Thunberg say?

DiCaprio’s shore excursions are short and anything but green, making his speeches about reducing carbon emissions all the more sanctimonious.

While it could be argued that the actor wasn’t going to swim to shore, there are more environmentally friendly ways to travel, particularly for someone who preaches about stopping climate change and building a sustainable economic future.

In 2016, during the Cannes Film Festival, DiCaprio reportedly left the French Riviera by private jet for a brief trip to New York City — to accept an environmental award, the New York Post reported at the time.

He hopped back on another private jet the following day to attend a gala in Antibes, France — a reported 12.8 kilometres from the film fest — and nearly 13,000 kilometres of air travel in two days.

Leonardo DiCaprio helps save man who fell overboard in the Caribbean

Leonardo DiCaprio got to play a real-life hero to a man who fell off a yacht in the Caribbean and had to tread water for hours. The Oscar-winning actor, his girlfriend and their friends were on a luxury vessel last week when an emergency call went out asking for help looking for the man, Britain's The Sun newspaper reported .

The vessel carrying DiCaprio and his crew was near the island of St. Bart's, and the man fell overboard near the neighboring island of St. Martin, according to the Sun. "The captain of his ship sent out a panicked emergency message and Leonardo and his team agreed to look for the poor guy," a source told the newspaper.

The man was found near Saba island, south of St. Martin, the Sun reported. He was severely dehydrated and had been treading water for 11 hours, the source told the newspaper.

"I should have died," the man reportedly said after he was rescued. The luxury vessel's crew gave him food and dry clothes before handing him off to authorities.

Over the weekend, DiCaprio attended the Golden Globe Awards , where he was nominated for best actor in a musical or comedy film for his performance in "Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood." Taron Egerton won the award for his portrayal of Elton John in "Rocketman."

After throwing a wild 80’s themed bash on the world’s fifth largest superyacht in April, it has been reported that Leonardo DiCaprio once again stepped on board the 147m/482’ TOPAZ to celebrate the 2014 World Cup in true Brazilian party style.

Sporting a brightly coloured Brazil scarf, DiCaprio was seen enjoying the action unfold amongst the stands of football fans during the 2014 World Cup ’s opening game between Brazil and Croatia last Thursday. He was then seen heading back to marina in Rio where superyacht TOPAZ is berthed, where he and around 20 of his friends stepped on board to relax and party late into the night.

According to the Daily Mail, it is thought that the Hollywood actor has again chartered the yacht for the famous football tournament with permission from her Owner, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy prime minister of the United Arab Emitates and owner of Manchester City FC. Since her launch from Lürssen in 2012, she has very occasionally been made available for rent to select clients and it seems that DiCaprio has taken a particular liking the yacht, although it is easy to see why.

TOPAZ’s sheer size allows for an impressive offering of amenities on board that include two heli-pads, two swimming pools and a cinema.  Apart from her highly luxurious accommodation and experienced crew of 20, she is a perfect example of how a luxury charter yacht can be the perfect way to enjoy events around the world in comfort and privacy.

It’s probably one of Hollywood’s hottest topics in the modern era. Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend is a model and it follows an incredible pattern that many actors and people in the industry like to point out whenever they can.

After launching his career as an actor in the 90s, Leo has been in many high-profile relationships with actresses as well as supermodels. He was first linked to supermodel Bridget Hall in 1994 after starring in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. Since then, his relationships have been the subject of a lot of jokes and criticism, especially with his notorious choice of girlfriends under a certain age. At the 2022 Primetime Emmy Awards, host Kenan Thompson took a jab at the joke when he mentioned Zendaya in the crowd, “Zendaya just turned 26 last week, happy birthday. 26 is a weird age in Hollywood. I mean you’re young enough to play a high school student, but you’re too old to date Leonardo DiCaprio.”

A source told Page Six in August 2022 that there’s a reason many of the Titanic star’s relationships end around the time his girlfriends turn 25 years old. “By the time girls reach 25, they’re looking for more—they’re looking to get married and settle down. That is not what Leo wants. He does not want a family and does not want to be around women who may press him for that,” the insider said. “The minute a girl meets him, the clock is ticking. If she gets too old, in a couple of years, she is gone. If she gets too close, in a couple of years, she is gone.” The source continued, “He’s gotten older but his taste has not gotten any older.”

Who is Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend?

Let’s take a look at who Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend is and his relationships.

Vittoria Ceretti (2023 - present)

Leonardo DiCaprio and Vittoria Ceretti’s relationship first started making headlines in August 2023. The pair were first spotted together in Ibiza, Spain. In a video obtained by  Page Six , the pair could be seen dancing with each another at a nightclub, Hï Ibiza. Elsewhere in the clip, the duo were reportedly seen sharing a kiss.

Later that month, they were photographed again by  Page Six , while walking around Santa Barbara, California, enjoying iced coffee and ice cream cones. Their stateside outing was followed by a party in London hosted by  Vogue . Leo was also reportedly in the audience as the 25-year-old model walked the runway during Milan Fashion Week.

In September 2023, a source told  Page Six  that things between the pair had gotten more serious. “They’ve been spending quite a bit of time together over the past few months, and they’re enjoying getting to know one another on a deeper level,” the insider said.

“Leo and Vittoria were chatting and dancing together all night,” another source said of their recent outing to London together. “From the looks of it, their romance is much more than a passing fling.”

Victoria Lamas (2022)

Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted with Victoria Lamas on December 21, 2022. The actor, 47, and the model, 23, were at a dinner at The Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood, California, according to photos obtained by Page Six (see the photos here ). However, sources told the outlet that the two were just friends. “Both were seated (not next to each other) at a big group dinner,” an insider shared. “They were also joined by a number of other people in the car.”

Gigi Hadid (2022)

Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid were reportedly dating for a couple of months in 2022. Sources told E! News   in an article published on September 13, 2022, that Leo, 47, and Gigi, 27, had hung out “multiple” times, but were doing so in the company of friends. According to those close to him, the  Titanic  star wasn’t rushing back into a relationship. “He’s enjoying being single,” an insider noted, adding the two are “not exclusive.”

It echoes the sentiments of another source, this one close to Gigi, who said “neither of them want a relationship” at the moment. “Gigi and Leo have hung out multiple times and are into each other. Gigi thinks he’s a really cool guy. Majority of their hangouts have stemmed from being in the same social circles at various parties.” Another source told  Page Six that “[Leo] is not someone who is in and out of relationships. He doesn’t jump around hooking up. They are taking it slow.”

An insider told  People on September 12, 2022, the A-listers were definitely “getting to know each other” but weren’t “dating” yet. Another source told the magazine that “Leo is definitely pursuing Gigi,” while another added, “They’ve been seen hanging out with groups of people. It’s only been a few weeks since the split. Since then, he’s been hanging out with friends and family.”

However, things came to an end when a source told Page Six that Gigi wasn’t on board with Leo’s antics. “Gigi’s priority is her daughter,” the source said. “Gigi doesn’t have the energy to run after DiCaprio. His routine is too much for her.”

Victoria Lee Robinson (?)

Leonardo DiCaprio reportedly dated Victoria Lee Robinson. Robinson’s current boyfriend Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval slyly confirmed it. “I think they dated very briefly,” Sandoval revealed on the Vanderpump Rules After Show while adding, “Maybe she aged out or something.”

Camila Morrone

Camila Morrone, a model and actor who stars in Amazon Prime Video’s Daisy Jones and the Six series, were first linked in December 2017 after Leo was seen leaving her house in Los Angeles. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times in 2019, Camilla responded to criticism over her and Leo’s age difference. “There’s so many relationships in Hollywood—and in the history of the world—where people have large age gaps,” she said at the time. “I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date.” She continued, “I feel like there should always be an identity besides who you’re dating. I understand the association, but I’m confident that will continue to slip away and be less of a conversation.”

The two called it quits in September 2022. A source told  E! News  that the former couple was “traveling a lot” and “distance played a factor” in the breakup. As a result, the relationship “ran its course.” “There are no bad feelings between [Leo and Camila],” another source told  The Sun.  “It just came to a natural conclusion.”

Nina Agdal (2016-2017)

Leonardo DiCaprio and Nina Agdal dating rumors emerged in early 2016. The two were spotted together at a nightclub in New York City in May 2016 and continued to vacation together in Montauk, New York and the Bahamas. Agdal, a model, split from the actor in the middle of 2017, but according to People, the split was “amicable.”

Rihanna(2015)

Leonardo DiCaprio was rumored to have dated Rihanna back in 2015. The two were seen together in multiple instances like at Coachella. However, their fling was never confirmed by the singer or the actor.

Kelly Rohrback (2015)

Leonardo DiCaprio briefly dated Kelly Rohrback in 2015. He was spotted with the Sports Illustrated model at the CFDA Awards in June 2015, but they split apart less than a year together. “They’ve been broken up for over a month. It was mutual,” a source told  Us Weekly in January 2016. “They both have intense work schedules and a lot going on in their lives right now. They both needed to take a break because of that. They are still friends and talking but it’s over.”

Tori Garrn (2013)

Leonardo DiCaprio was linked to Toni Garrn in 2013. The German model and the actor connected at the Cannes Film Festival, where DiCaprio opened with his film The Great Gatsby that year. The ex-couple was also photographed on a yacht and watching the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix during that time. However, the two called it quits in December 2014. The two were rumored to have rekindled their romance once in September 2017, when they were photographed leaving a club together, but the two remain just friends

Erin Heatherton (2012)

Leonardo DiCaprio and Erin Heatherton reportedly dated in 2012, after being spotted riding bikes together. The two split due to The Revenant actor’s schedule according to Us Weekly, where a source said that they still “cared about each other a lot”.

Blake Lively

Leonardo DiCaprio dated none other than Gossip Girl ‘s own Blake Lively in 2011 before she settled down with her husband Ryan Reynolds. They met at a dinner party in New York City and went out for a couple of months when, you guessed it, Leo’s schedule got in the way. In an interview with Vanity Fair in 2017, Gossip Girls producer Joshua Safran spoke about the two and how they communicated. “When I think about shooting the L.A. episodes, Blake was dating [DiCaprio] at the time, and she had this thing where she had a doll that she took photos of that she sent to Leo,'” he told the publication. “Blake was way ahead of the curve. It was pre-Instagram. She was documenting her life in photographs in a way that people were not yet doing.”

Bar Raefli (2005 - 2010)

Leonardo DiCaprio dated model Bar Raefli for five years. When the couple broke up, the model opened up about how the aftermath affected her well-being “It was a half year for which I am very grateful,” the model told  L’Isha magazine per People. “I needed it. I came to understand a lot of things about myself. I worked on myself [and] I grew up,” Refaeli said. “I didn’t know what ‘alone’ was like. Today I know that a relationship can work only if you know you can be alone and you are not afraid. Today I m not afraid of being alone.”

Gisele Bündchen (1999 - 2005)

Leonardo DiCaprio dated Victoria’s Secret model Gisele Bündchen for six years. The two met after the Romeo + Juliet actor saw her in a show. They kept their relationship very private at the time but walked the 2005 Oscar red carpet together. In her book, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life , Gisele confessed that she wanted to change her lifestyle during their relationship which led to its demise. “No longer numbing myself with smoking, drinking and too much work, I was becoming more and more aware of things that I’d chosen not to look at,” she wrote. ‘Was I alone in wanting to do some serious soul-searching while he stayed the same? In the end, unfortunately, the answer was yes.”

Kristen Zang (1998)

Leonardo DiCaprio briefly dated supermodel Kristen Zang in 1997. He took her to the premiere of Romeo + Juliet , but they broke up shortly before the premiere of the global hit Titanic .

Naomi Campbell (1996)

Before a couple of rumored flings with models like Amber Valleta, Helena Christensen and Eva Herzigoria, it was rumored that Leonardo DiCaprio had a fling with supermodel Naomi Campbell. The two remain good friends to this day.

Bridget Hall (1994)

Leonardo DiCaprio’s first big dating rumor swirled around model Bridget Hall. At the time, Bridget’s agent denied any rumors that they were anything more than friends, saying , “I remember him. He was such a twitty little guy. They were friends, this is so so not true.”

Leonardo DiCaprio Welcomes 2023 With His 23-Year-Old Pal

Leonardo DiCaprio rang in the new year on a yacht off St. Barts, as per a report in PageSix . Joining the 48-year-old Oscar-winner was Victoria Lamas , the 23-year-old model , who he has been seen with of late. Though the official word is that they are just good friends, this is the “fourth hang out in less than a month,” the tabloid noted. 

Lamas is the second of three daughters between actor Lorenzo Lamas and actress Kathleen Kinmont . Victoria did not appear on the short-lived 2009 reality series Leave it to Lamas , which featured hijinks between her father, stepmother, and other half- and step-siblings. 

Papa Lamas had previously told the New York Post that he knew his daughter “liked [DiCaprio] very much,” but was not apprised of the specific circumstances. He did, however, use the word “smitten,” then joked he didn’t want his daughter taking any “trans-Atlantic cruises with Leo,” a reference to the fate of the passengers Titanic . (Dad jokes!)

Not only did the Caribbean-based yacht stay afloat this New Year’s Eve, it held a surfeit of celebrities. PageSix reported that Drake was aboard, as was DiCaprio’s old buddy (and current Babylon scene-stealer ) Tobey Maguire . 

E! News noted that on the night before New Year's, DiCaprio, Drake, Lenny Kravitz , Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup , Taika Waititi and Rita Ora , and Chase Hudson were all at the Hotel Emeraude on St. Barts (officially the Collectivité territoriale de Saint-Barthélemy) for a UNICEF gala. 

DiCaprio broke up with Camila Morrone , his girlfriend of four years, last August. It has been noted from time to time that the Revenant and Wolf of Wall Street star has a tendency to date younger women . Indeed, the data shows that the actor, historically, has a cut-off after the age of 25, so let’s check back on all this in two years.

Leonardo DiCaprio Childhood Photo Takes Off Online

A photo showing Leonardo DiCaprio as a young boy posing with his parents has gone viral on social media.

The Oscar-winning star of The Revenant , 49, has become known over the years for keeping his private life largely under wraps, only usually hitting red carpets and sitting for interviews when he has work to promote or it is awards season .

However, the actor became a talking point for his life well before becoming a celebrity over the weekend, when a photo was shared of him as a toddler. In the image, a young DiCaprio was seen being held aloft by his mom, Irmelin, and dad, George.

Wearing a striped top and diaper, the Los Angeles-born future star was placed front and center as his smiling parents proudly posed for the camera.

"Baby Leonardo DiCaprio with his mom and dad, 1976," read a caption from the popular @fasc1nate account that shared the photo on X, formerly Twitter .

As of press time, the heartwarming photo has garnered more than 13 million views.

Newsweek has not been able to verify the veracity of the photo and has contacted a representative of DiCaprio via email for comment.

In a 20/20 interview with Barbara Walters back in 2002, DiCaprio spoke about how his dad, who was an underground comic book distributor, and his mom, a legal secretary, were "Bohemian in every sense of the word."

They eventually allowed him to drop out of school to pursue his acting dreams. According to a 1995 New York Times profile, his parents worked for his production company at the time.

Speaking with Parade for a profile published in January 2016, DiCaprio spoke of how his dad had instilled a go-getter approach to life in him.

"My dad always told me, 'Go out there, son, and whatever you do, I don't care if you're successful or not, just have an interesting life,'" the actor recalled.

During the 2016 awards season, where DiCaprio picked up his first ever Best Actor Oscar for his efforts in The Revenant , the screen star spoke glowingly of his parents.

As he picked up his Screen Actors Guild Award that year for his role in the Alejandro G. Iñárritu-directed film, DiCaprio said : "To my parents, thank you for listening to an overly ambitious, slightly annoying 13-year-old kid who wanted to go on auditions every day after school."

Months earlier, in November 2015, he also paid tribute to his parents while accepting the Actors Inspiration Award at the SAG Foundation 30th-anniversary celebration.

"I was blessed with two incredibly supportive parents who listened to the harassment of their overly assertive son and drove him to auditions after school even though they had very little time for it," the Don't Look Up star said.

"And I'm going to take one moment here because this isn't nationally televised to embarrass both of them, but they're sitting here tonight," he added. "Mom, Irmelin, George—I would not be receiving this award and I would not be the actor that I am or be able to do any of the philanthropy that this job has given me the opportunity to have, and I wouldn't be the person I am without the both of you, so thank you."
