Caraïbes Sailing est une association loi 1901. Notre projet ?   Vous proposer des cours de voile tous niveaux, et des immersions en mer 100% voile, sur un véritable bateau équipé pour le long court, le tout dans une ambiance chaleureuse et dynamique,  un cadre sécurisé et un nombre de participants limités pour vous proposez du sur-mesure.   C'est également une belle opportunité de vous faire partager notr e passion pour l'océan, les grands espaces,  la nature et vous faire découvrir la Martinique côté mer dans le plus grand respect de l'environnement marin.

Que vous soyez débutant, initié ou expérimenté,

en solo ou avec des amis, nous nous attachons à ce que chacun trouve sa place au sein de notre école. Les cours sont adaptés à votre niveau, à vos besoins. Nous mettons notre priorité sur l'approche pratique

de la voile. Nous avons toujours pensé que l'expérience fait le marin. Savoir naviguer c'est avant tout, observer et comprendre le plan d'eau, sentir le vent pour mieux se repérer et tracer sa route. Vous êtes donc acteur tout au long de la séance. Vous et votre équipage effectuez les manoeuvres, les réglages, dirigez le bateau, prenez les décisions, sous les conseils avisés du moniteur.

Votre équipage professionnel ponctue de commentaires et d'anecdotes la découverte de la côte Nord Caraïbe: baie de Fort de France, Pitons du Carbet, falaises de Fond Boucher, Montage Pelée….

C’est au large de Bellefontaine et du Carbet que des groupes de dauphins* vous rattraperont sans doute pour vous saluer et vous proposer une petite course. Moment magique chargé d'émotion pour les plus petits comme pour les plus grands. Ouvrez grand vos yeux et profitez du spectacle….

Rade de St Pierre

Un plateau de fruits frais vous sera servi dans la matinée afin de vous rafraîchir. Arrivée dans la magnifique rade de St Pierre pour une escale découverte de cette Ville chargée d'Histoire et d'anecdotes. De nombreuses ruines témoignent de son passé prestigieux et de la catastrophe qui la frappa en 1902. Vous pourrez aussi profiter des saveurs locales en visitant son marché typique.

Plage du Carbet

Retour à bord du bateau pour un mouillage le long de la plage du Carbet. Pause baignade pour ceux qui le souhaitent. Déjeuner créole qui sera préparé et servi à bord du catamaran par notre hôtesse cuisinière.

Fond Boucher

Cabotage le long de la côte et arrivée à Fond Boucher, pour baignade et découverte des fonds marins. Munis de vos masques et de tubas vous pourrez apprécier la beauté des fonds coralliens ainsi que la richesse de la faune et de la flore du Nord-Caraïbe. Une collation vous sera servie après la baignade.

Baignade dans une anse abritée et calme

Puis vous profiterez d’un arrêt baignade** dans une anse abritée et calme. Munissez vous de vos masques et tubas pour admirer les magnifiques fonds coralliens (accessible à tous) La baignade se fait en toute sécurité. Tout le matériel nécessaire à votre sécurité et à votre confort dans l’eau, est à votre disposition à bord du bateau. Durant toute la demi journée les boissons vont seront proposées en open bar. Une collation vous serez également servie au cours de l’excursion.

Vous partirez, toutes voiles dehors, vers le sud caraïbe et ses petits villages de pêcheurs. Vous pourrez admirer les magnifiques anses bordées de cocotiers : Anse Dufour, Anse noire et son sable couleur ébène, grande anse d’Arlet, et petite anse.

Plusieurs arrêts baignade dans une eau chaude et transparente

Plusieurs arrêts baignade dans une eau chaude et transparente vous seront proposés pour vous permettre de découvrir les fonds marins et leur faune multicolore. Si vous êtes patients peut être aurez vous la chance d’observer une tortue. Si vous êtes patients peut être aurez vous la chance d’observer une tortue, munis de vos masques et tubas. Le matériel vous permettant de vous baigner en toute confiance et en toute sécurité ( frites flottantes et gilets) vous sera fourni.

Vous bénéficierez d’un open bar* durant toute la durée de l’excursion ainsi que d’une collation. L’alcool est dangereux pour la santé et à consommer avec modération.

Nos catamarans habitables sont loués par l' école de voile VOGWEEK pour dispenser des stages catamaran adulte . Ces formations catamarans sont dispensées à La Rochelle, en Martinique et en Méditerranée au départ de Marseille ou d'Ajaccio. La durée ordinaire d'un stage catamaran habitable est de 7 jours. Que vous soyez débutant en catamaran ou que vous souhaitez vous former comme skipper d'un catamaran , VOGWEEK vous proposera des stages de voile en catamaran adaptés à votre niveau et vos objectifs

Qui effectue la formation catamaran habitable ?

Votre moniteur de voile, titulaire d'un Brevet d'Etat a une grande expérience d' école de voile et spécifiquement en catamaran habitable . Il s'attachera à ce que chacun des stagiaires progresse selon son niveau de départ. Plus qu'un formateur , sa méthode est plus proche de celle d'un coach.

Le catamaran Lucia 40 de 12 mètres vous procurera tout le confort attendu d'un catamaran au cours de votre stage . Notre école de voile catamaran a pour objectif, selon votre niveau de départ, à faire de vous, un passager averti, un équipier efficace ou un chef de bord ce qui vous permettra d'envisager de louer ou d' acheter un catamaran de même taille .

Nos catamarans de 14 mètres vous procureront un grand confort au cours de votre stage de voile habitable et vous permettra de vous habituer aux manoeuvres d'un grand catamaran . Cette formation en catamaran habitable vous habituera à ce grand gabarit ce qui vous permettra d'être confiant lors de votre prochaine location ou si vous achetez votre propre catamaran quelque soit sa taille.

Le stage en catamaran habitable comprend : • la formation pour 5 à 7 stagiaires maximum • la location partagée d'un Lagoon 450F, d'un Lucia 40 ou TS 42 • Validation de votre niveau FFV et du nombre de milles • Le nettoyage final du catamaran Vous devez disposer d'un "passeport voile" de la Fédération française de Voile ou d'une licence annuelle de la Fédération en cours de validité pour participer à nos formations en catamaran. What characterizes a catamaran?

A catamaran is a multihull boat generally composed of two hulls connected by a frame. Catamarans can be simple and cheap or very sophisticated and expensive. It all depends on the budget you wish to allocate to your stay in Martinique aboard a catamaran.

Some people simply call all multihulls “catamarans”. This is technically incorrect, but it may be easier than trying to explain that there are different types of catamarans. Catamaran is a term that refers to the specific style of catamaran. Built for use in the world of water sports (catamaran racing), it is a boat designed to be fast and efficient. The first catamarans were built in wood, but today they are generally built in fiberglass or other composite materials, ideal for a catamaran ride.

The construction of a catamaran usually consists of an inflexible skeleton to which are attached outer “shells” (or skins) of plywood or fiberglass. Catamarans usually have more than one hull, with the number of hulls ranging from two to eight. A narrower catamaran can offer better performance than a single-hull boat, but at the expense of stability.

A monohull is less stable than a catamaran because it has only one hull on the water. Monohulls are built to go in a straight line as fast as possible, and they do it very well. However, they spend most of their time on the water with only one hull out of the water – which is not good for performance or stability. This is essentially why catamarans perform better than monohulls.

History of Martinique

Martinique has always been a rich, populated island,  characterized by its luscious foliage and varied landscape. Many  different groups of island peoples inhabited the area before it was  settled by the French in 1635. The French used the island to construct  sugarcane plantations, and farmed other tropical fruits and spices such  as bananas, coffee, cinnamon, and much more. The island was praised for  its plentiful harvests, and the sugarcane plantations helped make  Martinique the “Rum Capital of the World.”

In the 1600s, Martinique was the center for the French Antilles (the  West Indies), both culturally and politically. It hosted the best  resources for food, textiles, and luxury items including spice and rum  exports. The small island grew in popularity, and many French settlers  flocked to the area to stake their claim on the riches and bounty of the  West Indies.

Martinique never separated from the French Republic, and still  carries French influence in their culture and cuisine. French is the  official language of Martinique; however, most citizens also speak  Antillean Creole and some English. The Antillean Creole is still used in  many native song, literature, and in the everyday life of Martinique  natives. Martinique is a cultural melting pot, with both islander and  French influences creating a vibrant scene of art, cuisine, music and  more.
