Guest Accommodation

Rascal offers guest accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising a master suite located on the main deck, two double cabins and two twin cabins. There are 7 beds in total, including 1 king, 2 doubles and 4 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Performance & Range

Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, she has impressive speed and great efficiency thanks to her planing hull. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 26 knots with a range of up to 1,250 nautical miles from her 14,100 litre fuel tanks at cruising speed.

Set against the backdrop of your chosen cruising ground, you and your guests can enjoy fun on the water with the collection of water toys and accessories aboard Rascal. RASCAL is the sophisticated 35m Sunseeker Superyacht that is perfect for all events; from corporate functions to stunning weddings to unforgettable family trips. Previously named Settlement, she was renamed in 2022 and now cruises the waters off Sydney, the Gold Coast, and the idyllic Whitsundays.

Easily accommodating ten guests overnight in five spacious cabins – all ensuite, air-conditioned and with updated entertainment systems – with a full-beam Master cabin including a jacuzzi bath tub, two double cabins and two twin cabins that can convert into double beds when required. Elegantly designed throughout, the Main Saloon offers extensive seating and a full wet bar. The dining room table is mirrored and can easily accomodate eight guests. RASCAL’s main saloon is surrounded with large windows allowing natural light to flood in. Mirrored detail on the walls is reflected and gives the impression of space. A standout feature on the main deck is the port and starboard sea balconies.

On her light teak wood decking outside, further entertaining takes place on comfortable white sofas around burnt orange tables. The bar area is complete with crisp white and tall bar stools with burnt orange cushions. Up on the sun deck, guests can take in the beautiful sunset views. The sun deck also offers an outdoor jacuzzi with a surrounding large, cushioned lounge area. The lounge padding is covered in a soft white, patterned fabric, and perfect to dry off after a relaxing dip.

Down in the tender garage, there are plenty of toys and activities to keep you entertained –

The luxury motor yacht RASCAL (ex Settlement, Living The Dream) is a 34.60m (113' 6") motor yacht built by the UK shipyard Sunseeker Yachts and launched in 2015 and refitted in 2022. With accommodation for up to 10 charter guests over five luxurious staterooms and a crew of five on board, this yacht offers her guests the ultimate retreat.

NOTABLE FEATURES OF RASCAL: ~Flybridge Jacuzzi ~Spacious outdoor sunbathing areas ~Purpose-built 6m x 3m inflatable air deck ~Extensive variety of water toys ~Range of 2,000 nautical miles ~Air conditioning ~Wi-Fi

From the expansive lower deck swim platform guests can access the main deck aft via a staircase to either side. The shaded cockpit is fitted with a wet bar with three stools, while two L-shaped sofas each with a coffee table are placed out in the sunshine along the stern.

On the foredeck, a C-shaped sofa and raised alfresco dining table in the panoramic forward views, and after a meal guests can rest on the sunbed covering the bow.

The flybridge features a raised Jacuzzi surrounded by raised sunpads to the stern, while amidships there is a port-side wet bar and a C-shaped alfresco dining area opposite beneath a retractable hardtop. A forward helm station with additional co-pilot seats completes the setting.

The guest and crew accommodation is placed on the lower deck with the engine room and large tender garage for easy storage of the tender and other sizeable motorised toys.

RASCAL Specifications

The main deck places the full-beam Master suite forward with an en-suite bathroom in front and a walk-in wardrobe behind. The galley is positioned amidships and a crew corridor allows for quick and efficient service in the formal dining area, where an elegant table seats up to 10 guests who have excellent views out of the port and starboard windows. The aft lounge has glass sliding doors out onto fold-down terraces to both sides, and a pair of sofas and four armchairs face in around a centrepiece coffee table.

A pair of MTU 16V 2000 M94 2,640 HP engines allows for a top speed of 25 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots with a range of 2,000 nautical miles.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

Settlement offers five deluxe staterooms, including one master suite on the main deck spreading the entire beam of the yacht with a lovely king-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom with a shower and spa, toilet and his and hers sinks. There are two additional queen-bedded cabins each with walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathrooms with shower, as well as two double/twin cabins, each with two single beds and ensuite with a single sink. Each cabin has a hairdryer and Aesop guest toiletries.

‘RASCAL’ is a stunning 35m Sunseeker Predator motor yacht, built in 2015 by Sunseeker UK, refit in 2022. Her elegant exterior and interior styling are the work of Sunseeker, along with her engineering. RASCAL’s day charter capacity allows for up to 60 guests, while accommodating up to 10 overnight.

Her interior layout features an open-plan saloon with ample seating and lush coffee tables, a full bar and entertainment centre, with a dining table capable of seating up to 10 dinner guests.

One of the most remarkable features of this yacht, is the extendable balconies off the main saloon on both port and starboard sides, which are then accessed via sliding doors providing guests with panoramic sea-scapes.

The upper deck provides two helm positions, a bar, jacuzzi and sunbathing areas with dining/seating areas that are covered by a hard top that is able to be retracted upon request! Al fresco entertaining and dining is provided on the aft deck, which leads down to the swim platform for all water-related activities!

The interiors layout accommodates 10 guests in 5 cabins consisting of a main-deck master suite with a mini bar, two double cabins and two twin cabins, all with entertainment centres, television screens and ensuite bathroom facilities. In addition, RASCAL is also capable of accommodating five crew members.

When Rascal launched in 2017, the British, Bali-based founder, Steve Ebsworth, raised the sun-sea-and-sand bar with his innovative take on the traditional Indonesian sailboat experience. The first things to go were the actual sails, which require huge amounts of valuable deck space and are barely ever hoisted nowadays. This rejigging allowed for all five cabins—decorated in warm woods and soft whites with tasteful pops of Indigenous art and handwoven fabrics—to be positioned above deck, including a large primary suite with wraparound windows on the top deck. Space for sunning was moved to the roof deck, which multitasks as a breezy spot for sundowners and canapés as the equatorial sun descends into an ocean of molten gold, or a place to gaze at the Milky Way under a perfectly clear sky. 

Next year, the company will expand further with its launch of Rogue , venturing into Malaysian and Thai waters for the first time with what’s bound to be an equally inspiring journey rambling through the jade-green Andaman Sea, from Langkawi to hard-to-reach Tarutao National Marine Park and on to Phuket. “We’re planning a few surprises along the way,” adds Khadijah. You’d expect nothing less from a Rascal.

The Dale yard in Pembrokeshire was founded in 1961 and, being located on the Irish Sea, inevitably meant building a serious class of offshore motor yacht. Today Dale are still delivering, where many other British Boat Builders are sadly no longer. Indeed, you may order a Dale today from 23 to 45 feet, made to order and using traditional craftsmanship, combined with modern build techniques. No model produced has been more elegant in my eyes than the Dale Nelson Classic 45, which burst regally onto the scene in 2003 and was instantly regarded not only as a specimen of beauty, but as a shining example of British boat building.

The Dale Nelson Classic 45 was, however, not just designed to be admired. Offshore she torpedoes through the water with unbelievable stability and speed (nigh on 30 knots)! The massively built hull will politely muscle its way through an aggressive head sea, while the crew are safely protected, enjoying the comfort of the furnishings and quality of the joinery all around you. So, if you are longing to extend your cruising as a couple, then the Dale Nelson 45 Classic will make a lot of sense, with its competitors unable to meet the same build quality, style and thumping hull design!

Harking from 2007, Dale Nelson Classic 45 RASCAL has been diligently maintained by her current owner, who placed her ashore with Dale in 2022 for a thorough refit of her navigational electronics, re-paint of her topsides, maintenance of her systems and had her wheelhouse sofa seating re-trimmed and her exterior cushions renewed. Having been put through the Dale workshops in 2013 and again in December 2017, prior to her visit last year, she is in simply stunning condition throughout, and is due her annual antifoul in the next weeks of June. She is in every way ready to take you away in graceful style.

RASCAL’s upper saloon is a harmonious and cozy place to be, with high-gloss American Cherrywood cabinetry, complimented by new smart blue fabric upholstery, and a beautifully-finished custom TV cabinet to starboard. She is hull 005 of the 45 sisterhood, and was specified at new with a large dinette area adjacent to the galley (that quickly converts to a double berth, with a privacy curtain) in addition to the forward en-suite master double cabin. Passing through the boat you will notice strategically placed sturdy wooden handrails that subtly allude to its seamanship, and, being built on a Nelson semi-displacement hull, RASCAL is an exceptional capable craft when it comes to offshore passage-making. Thoughtful clever features will make you smile throughout, including the electric sliding aft window that brings the outside in and the twin helm seats that glide forward, at a touch of button, to create more seating space when in harbour. All smart ideas, but very rarely achieved with such competence.

She has never let us down, and is exceptionally comfortable both under way, and in harbour (with the most comfortable bed I have known!). Her manners at sea are exceptional, even when it cuts up rougher, and following an extensive refit at Dale in 2022, we brought her home by sea – and she never missed a beat!

Five spacious air-conditioned cabins are all uniquely situated above deck, with large windows that draw in spectacular ocean views. Each cabin features high ceilings, storage and an en-suite bathroom. The yachts' layout is made up of two beautiful double cabins on the upper deck, with one featuring double doors leading onto an upper-aft private deck. On the main deck are two further double cabins as well as a double with a single bunk bed, making this yacht a great choice for families. SETTLEMENT was renamed RASCAL in 2022.

Built in Great Britain by the famous British yard Sunseeker International to RINA class LY3, RASCAL was delivered in 2015 as one of the yard’s highly successful 115 Sport Yacht models. Her new Owners took great pride introducing her to the Australian charter market. The interiors are fitted with signature black American walnut panelling, accommodating 10 guests in 5 cabins: a Master cabin on the Main Deck, full-width with a private ensuite and jacuzzi bathtub, two large doubles and two twins (both which can be joined up to form double beds), all with modern entertainment centres and ensuite bathroom facilities.

The open-plan saloon has extensive seating on cream coloured settees with black lacquered coffee tables, a full wet bar and an entertainment centre including a 55-inch television screen and a System Orca sound system. A special feature is her port and starboards sea balconies, opening up to each side of the Main Salon and accessed via sliding patio doors. Forward is a formal dining area with seating for up to 10 guests. The aft cockpit is fitted with everything needed for al fresco entertaining and dining, leading down to the garage and swim platform, where all the water-fun resides!

Upon the flybridge are two helm positions, custom bar, Jacuzzi with vast surrounding sun pad areas, seating and dining areas, sheltered by a retractable hardtop.

RASCAL cruises the beautiful waters of the East Coast of Australia, from Sydney to the Gold Coast to the Whtitsunday Islands.

Rascal's outdoor spaces carry a western nautical theme throughout the ship. The main deck features a covered outdoor seating lounge that also serves as an outdoor dining area, and it is perfect for relaxing as the boat passes the breathtaking Indonesia landscape. The top deck offers an additional a private lounge area off the cabin, and the roof deck has an unobstructed 360 view making it the ideal place to relax in the sun, morning yoga, or stargazing.

Living Areas

Inspired by a beach house decor, Rascal's interior has a light and airy feel to it. The large picture windows allow plenty of natural light, highlighting the white walls complemented by pops of vibrant color. To get the beach house feel, guests can sip their favorite beverages in the indoor dining and bar area while watching Indonesia's landscape pass by.

Rascal's five cabins are spaced out between the top and upper decks. The top deck features two double bed cabins with one including double doors leading out to a private deck. The main deck features the additional three cabins, two include a double, and one features a double with a single bunk bed- an excellent option for traveling with younger children. Each of the ensuite cabins features AC, a flat-screen TV with complimentary movies and a catalog of over 1000 complimentary movies, and universal electrical sockets.
