PROJECT 825 – a very rare Feadship opportunity

Published 05 July 2023

Burgess’ global Brokerage team has sold seven yachts in the last month. These yachts ranged from under 40m (130ft) to over 80m (260ft), new-build series and second-hand, cruiser, performance and explorer. We sell yachts like yours, and  this is why you should choose us if you want to sell your yacht .

The sea-level beach club has shimmering natural light filtered through the glass-bottomed pool above, a sea terrace to port and a huge swim platform aft, large enough for entertainment

Our latest purchase opportunity is a particularly compelling one because the prospect of taking delivery of a substantial Feadship, Royal Van Lent new build within 18 months is almost unheard of. The  precious opportunity in question is PROJECT 825 , a full-custom yacht of 75.8m (248.6ft) in length, 1,750GT in volume.

Project 825: Feadship’s 76m Superyacht Revealed for the First Time

By Frances Flannagan

Feadship's 75.8m Project 825, although far from finished, has been towed to the yard's facilities in Kaag to continue her outfitting. She is currently listed for sale with Burgess, scheduled for delivery in November 2024.

Project 825’s transport has showcased a spectacular exterior design and architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects. She has four decks, with many notable features, including a transom beach club with a glass-bottomed pool above, which has direct access to the lower deck guest accommodation. She can accommodate 12 guests, in two double suites, one twin, one convertible stateroom and a master stateroom. Alongside the guests, 17 crew members can also be accommodated onboard.

According to Feadship, Project 825 was designed with sociability in mind; the main deck features a large pool served by a bar and a games room provides the perfect space for entertaining. However, sociability has not overridden the comfort level of Project 825, with a spa centre located on the bridge deck complete with a sauna and gym. An elevator from the main deck to the bridge deck makes accessibility throughout the yacht as comfortable as possible.

The notable features of Project 825 are not exclusive to the communal areas; the master stateroom features a huge bathroom, a walk-in wardrobe as well as an owner’s deck which boasts a private terrace with a jacuzzi. An aft terrace can be accessed by sliding glass doors with private dining shaded by the overhang. Forwards is a touch-and-go-helipad.

Although yet to be fitted, her interior has been fully customised by the owner and designed by Gilles & Boissier, designers of the renowned Baccarat Hotel in New York. The saloon allows for an abundance of natural light with large windows, contributing to the relaxing atmosphere of this vessel as the outside is brought in.

With a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and powered by twin MTU engines, she is a perfect cruising vessel, offering a cruising speed of 12 knots, and a top speed of 15.4 knots. This sense of comfort in the interior design is mirrored by the addition of zero-speed stabilisers, meaning that the ultimate relaxation experience has been catered for within the architecture as well as the design. Project 825 can store a 9.80m tender along with water toys and a rescue tender.

Superyachts.com would like to wish Feadship and Project 825 the best of luck in the next stages of her development.

After emerging from her construction shed last week, Feadship ’s 76m (249ft) Project 825 , has left the Dutch builder's yard for the first time as she makes her way to their Kaag facility to continue her fitting out.

Onlookers watched as the impressive steel and aluminum motor yacht was towed along the Dutch waterways to her next destination.

With exterior styling by long-time Feadship collaborator Studio De Voogt, she sports a plumb bow and simple profile characterized by clean lines and plenty of space for glazing. Meanwhile, Paris-based Giles & Boissier – whose portfolio includes the five-star Baccarat Hotel in New York – are responsible for her interiors.

Feadship yacht 825

Feadship have confirmed the four-deck yacht features a large transom beach club, which opens out on both sides to create a beautiful waterside haven for her guests. Similar to Feadship yacht FAITH , she will also feature a glass-bottomed swimming pool on her main deck aft, adding a shimmering blue light effect to her beach club below.

As well as her swimming pool, her main deck aft also plays host to a convivial cabana bar and lounge area replete with sliding glass doors that can be opened out to create a harmonious connection with her surroundings.

Feadship yacht 825

Another key feature is her wellness center on the bridge deck, incorporating a sauna and climate-controlled gymnasium that can be opened out for alfresco workouts. This overlooks an outdoor terrace which will be equipped with a bar and lounge area, as well as a hot tub surrounded by sunpads.

Offering direct access to her beach club, her lower deck guest accommodation is made up of two double cabins, one twin and one convertible double/twin cabin, with a further VIP suite on her main deck featuring a bathroom, walk-in-closet and lounge with a private balcony.

Her Owner stateroom, meanwhile, offers a lounge leading out to a private terrace and shaded dining area with views across her wide bow – which doubles as a touch-and-go helipad.

Feadship yacht 825

Project 825 is powered by twin 2,000hp MTU diesel for a top speed of 15 knots, cruising speed of 12 knots and a transatlantic range of 5,000 nm.

80m Feadship Project 715 superyacht spotted on transport

The 79.5-metre Feadship Project 715 has been spotted on transport through the Dutch canals. The superyacht is on its way to Aalsmeer for outfitting, with delivery expected in summer 2025.

Construction on the 2,025GT superyacht began in 2022, though details have been kept tightly under wraps since then. She is ice-classed and has "one of the most environmentally friendly and efficient yacht propulsion systems available today," according to the shipyard.

Powered by "diesel-electric-battery-solar" propulsion, Project 715 can have a zero-carbon footprint for up to two days running on technology water-cooled batteries. She's also been designed to "silently cruise some of the most sensitive marine environments", including the Northwest Passage and Fiji.

Initial imagery reveals a slightly flared bow that will be used for tender storage, floor-to-ceiling windows and a total of five decks. Naval architecture is owed to De Voogt .

This reveal follows a sequence of highly secretive Feadship sightings, including the 102.6-metre Ulysses (last seen on sea trials ) and the 75.7-metre Alvia , which was photographed in transit from Kaag Island .

The shipyard also recently celebrated the delivery of its longest project to date – the 118-metre Launchpad .
