Serenity is a 34 foot Gemini 105Mc Catamaran sailboat, well equipped for an afternoon of sea lion, harbor seal, bird and dolphin watching or an evening under the setting sun. She has a beam of 14 feet, so there's plenty of space to spread out on deck ... or ride one of the 2 bowrider seats at the bow (front) ... kick back in the hammock at the stern (back). Or just chill in the spacious cockpit and even take the wheel for awhile. more info & photos

Climb aboard Serenity - 34 foot Catamaran Sailboat - for some fun in the sun! First, a bit of sightseeing around the marina. With over 4000 slips of small kayaks to mega yachts, Marina del Rey is one of the largest small craft harbors in the world. Sea Lions, harbor seals,  and several bird species can be seen lazing about on the docks and rock jetties. Then we’ll head into the bay, sailing past Venice and Santa Monica Piers / Boardwalk toward The Getty / Malibu before heading back to the Marina.

Very Recently rented this boat, and my experience was beyond my expectation. The crew is amazing. They are spectacular and clean more than I expectations. I had a great time definitely renting that yacht again Captain ru and Tony was very attentive. Communications was great. Can wait to go back.

I booked a ride with Matthew for my moms birthday and he exceeded every expectation I had! The boat was spacious we felt relaxed and had a great cozy seating area to enjoy the ride! Matthew was very kind, informative and friendly, we couldn’t have asked for a better captain! He even spotted a dolphin for us! Very happy with my experience and I recommend everyone books their boat rides with Matthew! Thank you!!!! :)

We had an amazing time on the Duffy!! It drove really well, by far the nicest one we’ve ever rented. Chris was very friendly and helped us with around the Marina. We had four kids with us and he had life vests for them, and helped us show the kids where the seals were which was a big highlight for them. I can’t recommend this enough!

We had a birthday party onboard the Regency tonight. The entire crew were amazing. Francini was our director and made sure everything was set up and all of our needs were met. She was very kind, made sure everyone had a good time. She made herself available to all of our guests through the entire cruise.

What can I say except that this company provides excellence in everything that they do! I rarely find such genuine care and comfort from the beginning of the process to the end – I felt very taken care of and valued. In addition, the party was better than I expected! The service was amazing, the food was outstanding – I am still getting comments even months after – my guests are still telling me what a great time they had and asking when are we going to do it again! All of my guests (and me too) loved cruising into the sunset with cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres on the sky deck, dining at dusk with the great cafe lighting that Asdruval Party Rentals provided and then dancing the night away to awesome music by Brad at Rhythm City!

My cousins rented a Yacht for my Aunt’s 70th birthday party. We launched from Marina Del Ray and the boat did a loop around the marina for 5 hours. It goes by pretty fast especially since you’ll be enjoying dinner, entertainment, and when available, the open bar. The staff were amazing and the bartender kept up with all the orders with no hiccup. Years ago, my other cousin had a reception on another type of Yacht for their wedding reception. Maybe one day I’ll throw something on a Yacht and invite my closest friends. I think this is a better way to throw a special party than the usual land locked location.

I had my 50th birthday party on October 27th 2017. Erin was my party planner she made sure everything ran smoothly I had no worries. The decorations were beautiful I had a gatsby-themed party. I wish I could name everyone who helped on the yacht. I had 130 guess on the DANDEANA yacht all my guests were attended to no problems. The food was delicious the drinks were great the service was fabulous. This is my second yacht charter with this company and they never seem to fail me. Thank you everyone who helped for me to have a grand 50th birthday even the ones behind the scenes, I appreciate you all I’ll see you at my next event thank you everyone. Captain was great; thank you Jeffrey for greeting everyone. The casino on board was perfect, my band was great, my DJ was great. Thanks again I will never forget this day.

We held my Mom’s 70th birthday here on 1028 and we had an amazing time. The boat was gorgeous, very clean, modern and elegant. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Our planner, Erin, was very helpful. She was flexible and accommodated all of my needs, and gave great advice given her experience. I would absolutely recommend this boat for any of your parties.

Fantasea hosted my mother’s ash scattering at sea earlier today and I could not have been happier with the results. The food and service were excellent! Kudos to Jasmine, Erin, Capt Luis, Capt Carlos, Mariano, Julio, Wilson and Francini for their wonderful team work! I highly recommend Fantasea!

Reservation & Rental FAQ

• All reservations must be done over the telephone by calling 310-306-4444 using a Mastercard or Visa or in person using cash, Mastercard, or Visa.
• A $1000 damage deposit is required on the day of rental. Visa or MasterCard only, NO CASH, NO DEBIT CARD, NO AMEX accepted for damage deposit.
• A 3-hour minimum rental is required on weekends from May 1 - October 31.
• We reserve the right to increase the minimum rental period during busy times (most holidays, weekends, and busy weekdays) as well as those times when we are short-staffed.
• A 50%  deposit is required at the time of reservation on rentals of 3 or more hours.
• A 7-day notice is required for any changes or cancellation to the reservation of 3 or more hours or you will forfeit your 50% rental deposit.
• A 24-hour notice is required for any changes or cancellation to the reservation of less than 3 hours. If 24-hour notice is not given to reservations of less than 3 hours, you will be charged 50% of the rental price.

Daysails and Events Coming Soon

With restrictions lifting and a target for California of 100% open by June 15th, we are anticipating being able to have daysails and other group gatherings in June. We would like to thank everyone for helping us follow the regulations set down by the CDC and the state and we are ecstatic to get back to normal this summer.

Learn and become proficient sailing 30 to 40-foot sailboats over five days on "The Ultimate Sailing Course". Basic Keelboat Sailing (ASA 101), Basic Coastal Cruising (ASA 103), and Bareboat Chartering (104) are all included. Basic through advanced techniques are taught as we sail to spectacular offshore islands and beautiful harbors. We will visit multiple coves and marinas and learn everything from basic sailboat handling to advanced off-shore sailing.

Marina del Rey Sailing School Open!

Marina del Rey sailing school is open! We are collaborating with city officials, the ASA, and our instructors to provide a safe, fun, and educational environment in the current climate. Until further notice each lesson with have 2 students on smaller, 4 max on larger boats to maintain social distance. We will provide every student and instructor with a disposable mask, hand sanitizer will be available on every boat, and boats will be cleaned between every lesson.
