About Our Venue

The Arrowhead Yacht Club is one of Kansas City’s premiere wedding venues. We offer a gorgeous gazebo, covered patio with a full-service bar and large seated firepit all giving you an exquisite view of the lake. We also have a large indoor dining area, full-service bar, dance floor and bridal suite. You will find our classically trained chef eager and able to make your food dreams come true with a custom menu.

I would like to highly recommend the Arrowhead Yacht Club as a place to have your wedding! My sister and I both have had our wedding reception at the Yacht Club. We enjoyed the scenic lake front scenery and the excellent food and service. I had Italian food at my wedding and my sister had a BBQ buffet. In both instances we had excellent food and service and the atmosphere of the yacht club with white table cloths was the formal dinner experience we were looking for. The environment of the dinning hall is warm and intimate for good conversation and there is space to move around the room. The nice dance floor, the room to get ready in in the morning with friends and family, and the friendly service from Paula to organize the event was all greatly appreciated! Paula was excellent at communicating with me by email. I was a bit of an anxious bride with many questions. I would recommend the Yacht club to anyone having a wedding. For my sister and I it was the lake front view that made us fall in love with this location for our wedding. We both love visiting the lake of the Ozark in the summer months. We can honestly say the Yacht Club feels like our family wedding venue now. Thank you again for helping make our day special.

Recent renovation very well done, nice hangout spot.

The Independence Day fireworks show 2022 was beautiful! We sure missed the Air Show this year.

Classic boat show was nice, ship store was okay. Some docks need attention, especially if you come by boat to VIP. (Hammerhead, ... but same owner). Yacht club has a much improved social media page and quite a few events are planned. Read more

Arrowhead & Cherokee Yacht Clubs

Arrowhead Yacht Club is the longest continuous operating Yacht Club in Oklahoma, listed in the registry of American Yacht Club reciprocity.  When traveling, you will find, in most instances, your Arrowhead Membership card will grant you access to other Yacht Clubs around the United States.  As a Member, there are many advantages and perks available including 5% of all your food and beverage purchases will be credited annually, so the more you use the Club, the less your membership costs.  Some of their members get their total membership paid for under this program.

Arrowhead's schedule of special events and entertainment is never ending.  From February to December, they offer specials such as Wine Tasting Dinners, Cold Water Lobster Feast, Special Course Dinners to Customer Appreciation activities as you will find nowhere else on Grand Lake.  In addition, they have weekly menu specials along with an Ala Carte menu to please any appetite, including a first class wine menu.  And, of course, in January, our annual kickoff for the year includes VIP night at the Tulsa Boat Show, where their Members Only Admiral's Club honors their Members with Chef's specialty Hors D'oeuvres enhanced by all of the glitter & excitement of the evening, with an open bar to show their appreciation of their members.

Established in 1947,  Cherokee Yacht Club and Marina  is a legendary facility on the Duck Creek arm of Oklahoma's Grand Lake O' the Cherokees.

For more than six decades, it has been a symbol of excellence on the lakeside private club experience.

Facilities and activities include: Restaurant, Private Dining Room, accommodations for Private Parties, Boutique, Pool, Cabana, Bar, Game Room, Ship Store, Marina, Showers, and Fuel and Pump-Out station.
