I saw many reviews mentioned they have slow service, which I agreed but there was only one person working there meanwhile there's a lot of people in the line. She was definitely working so hard to get all of our others in, cook food, and make drinks. So she is definitely a hard worker, also she was super nice and friendly to us even when she's super busy. My husband and I think it's worth to wait a bit and enjoy the sun. If you are in hurry then definitely not a good idea to come here cuz you might have to wait a bit. We randomly walked by this place and thought maybe we should get coffee. Then we saw they have pierogi; so we decided to stay and have dinner here. I got garlic potatoes and he got chicken pierogi. Mine was perfect! The garlicky flavor and potatoes, with sour cream. The chicken one is juicy but there were slightly too much salt sprinkled on the pierogi. So it got a little bit too salty. We also got two dessert and they were amazing! The mocha I got was okay, not really my favorite. I like that you can sit outside, and she said she will wave at us when the food is ready to pick up, I just wish they can open the windows so it will be so much easier to get the food.
Potato Pierogies
Chicken Pierogies
If you're just here for the market and want an espresso drink, here's your stop. They also have tasty baked sweets. Otherwise, there's lots of other cafes within a short walking distance.
I am only reviewing in regards to their pierogies, nothing else. I haven't tried any of their other stuff and just found myself in the area needing a snack when their pierogies called my name. They were warm, beautifully fresh tasting, and came with some tangy, thick sour cream. The only thing that wasn't my favourite was the bed of spinach it came on. This felt unnecessary and didn't add anything to the dish. Otherwise I would highly recommend ordering some. Lots of seating nearby and easy parking.
Super cute! This spot is inside the Waterfront Market. Tons of cute shops. We had lunch after a long run and decided to come here after to enjoy some coffee and a treat. Customer service was good and the menu options are all very yummy. I was shocked to see the prices of the coffee and treats. This place is very reasonable compared to other coffee shops in the area. My latte was made just right and my cannoli was delicious. The cafe has plenty of tables to sit and hang out. The cafe is super clean and organized. I recommend parking at the Waterfront Market grabbing a coffee here and going for a walk. Super cute date night or first date spot. Lots of cute shops close by as well. A must try. Good luck trying to pick just one treat.
As first timers to this public market I was really looking forward to choosing a delicious treat to try and unfortunately Zaya did not deliver. The service was definitely lacking. Maybe they were understaffed? Not too sure. We almost left because no one i saw acknowledged us. I really wanted to give the macaroons a try so we waited about 6 minutes and we we're finally able to order. I was so disappointed when I bit into my Nutella macaroon...crunchy and hard. My little one tried the mint chocolate and it was good! We probably will try somewhere else next time.
QUALITY!!! That is the best word to describe this Cafe. This is no run of the mill "eh, it's ok, that will do" kinda cafe. This place exceeds all expectations. The Ukrainian staff that run this cafe are giving so much to the community with this cafe - from their complex pastries, to crepes to beautifully executed avocado toasts... you'd think all of these items would be in a high end restaurant. Staff is always so kind, patient and you can see they put in so much effort into everything on the menu. They're very thoughtful too... for instance, when you order a avocado toast, they are so generous with the amount of fresh toppings, they know you will need another slice of bread with the amount that will fall off eating your first toast.... So they give you two pieces. I also regularly purchase their coffee beans which are micro roasted in Tacoma. I'm pretty sensitive to coffees but this one works for me well. Love the smell and taste! I really couldn't give this place less that 5 stars... so happy to have such a place to go to regularly on Ruston!
Avocado Toast with Smoked Salmon
Place has great potential but sadly when I went service was so slow it dampened the whole experience. Went on a most beautiful sunny but freezing cold late Winter Sunday. Right at noon, people started filling up Point Ruston, lining up especially for a pop up donut vendor and the taco place next door to Zaya. Zaya has a beautiful selection of Eastern and Western pastries on display: normal and giant sized macarons, honey cake, eclairs, walnut caramel cookies, cream filled horns, cannoli, sweet breads, muffins, cookies, and more. The price is average, not too cheap like a mass market bakery but not too expensive like a bougie French patisserie. They also serve handcrafted coffee and tea drinks and hot lunch foods like crepes, borscht, and of course pirsoshky. I ordered a chicken pirsoshky (about $6), a cup of borscht (vegetarian, about $4-5), a walnut cookie, and a cream filled horn. They have some bar height tables right in front of the counter but also some normal tables just across the walkway. As I waited, the 2 young ladies working were so busy preparing food or drink that they totally ignored people waiting in line. That was unfortunate because it means lost customers and revenue that day. Seems like they need more training or more support to handle the crowd (though it really didn't seem that busy). I think it took 15 mins to get my pirsoshky gen another 15 to get my borscht. I'm surprised because I thought these were already prepared and could just be warmed up. The guys that went before me waited just as long as I did. Thankfully all of us waiting didn't make a fuss but if someone was in a hurry this would be very frustrating. The pirsoshky was tasty. Wish it had a bit more filling but overall I liked the browning and flavor. It got dry quickly though. My borscht was piping hot and very tasty. It was served with wheat peasant bread slices and sour cream, which was a nice surprise. The soup was so good I want to try and recreate this at home. The pastries were overall good but the cream horn left something to be desired... Maybe I'm just desiring another one to feel satisfied haha. I would go back to try more things but they need to improve the service.

I always stop by this place in the mornings while I'm working in the area. I just adored this cute little cafe and all of the food variety they offer. I get the Piroshky which is delicious in all of its varieties. The service is friendly and I am happy to support this local business.
These ladies make some delicious chicken dumplings. Located in the Waterfront Market @ Ruston. We will be back soon for more.
Chicken Dumplings with sour cream.
This little cafe is a hidden gem. The pastries are so cute and yummy! The worker Raquel made me the best latte and she was so sweet and attentive. I will definitely be back and encourage anyone in the area to stop by!!

Yacht Club sailed into illume Rooftop Restaurant for an epic nerd bar takeover
By cristine struble | jul 15, 2024.
As the sun set over the Disney tourist district, guests at illume Rooftop Restaurant were swept away on one momentous evening. Beyond the delicate cherry blossoms that welcome guests off the elevator, fun, frivolity, and a touch of the fantastic awaited. While the sailor hats might have been a good indication, that come sail away moment was more than just a simple nighttime cruise to a award winning libation. This Yacht Club does not require a membership, but it asks that guests leave that pretentious vibe on the shore.
Locals and tourists are enamored with the JW Marriott Bonnet Creek’s illume Rooftop Restaurant . From its stunning views to its impressive food and beverage offerings, it is always a top choice in Orlando restaurant scene.
On July 11, the vibrant space was transformed with a very different vibe. In partnership with Bacardi and Nestle Premium Waters, Denver’s Yacht Club took over the space. One of the World's 50 Best Bars in 2023, the anti-club club gave guests a taste of what they do best. Curious, flavorful, nuanced cocktails paired with some delicious hot dogs.
For those unfamiliar with Denver’s Yacht Club , the concept is far different that the stuffy, well-mannered old school membership clubs. Forget that old school Bushwood visual. There is no trust fund requirement or preppy dress code.
Denver’s Yacht Club might refer to itself as the anti-club club, but it is far more than a can of Old Style and a bowl of Corn Nuts. Yes, there is a nod to a dive bar, but the shag carpet and sticky floor has been replaced with a modern, exciting take that focuses on welcoming inclusion with a dash of the unexpected.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Cristine Struble (@strublepublications)
That notion is clear with their cocktails. During the special event at illume, the Yacht Club team brought some of their signature libations and created a special cocktail in honor of their host restaurant. Specifically for the Orlando event, the team offered Beginner’s Luck. The take on the classic Rob Roy looked delicate in the glass, but it was definitely not old school. The Ambrato and Fermented Honey offered depth. Never overpowering, the Japanese inspired cocktail was a lovely nod to the host restaurant.
The cocktail of the night was Yacht Club’s signature The Hidden Valley Ranch Water. While many people appreciate the light, refreshing Ranch Water, this option is not that tequila based cocktail with a dollop of HVR on top. This sophisticated sipper is what the creative team does best. It offers a nod to the familiar, yet it twists the conversation in a way that no one saw coming.
Watching the Yacht Club mixologists create this cocktail, the concept seems to start with a science experiment moment. As 2L bottles get force carbonated, the magic begins. Those tiny bubbles are not about singing a Don Ho lyric. They are meant to bubble up the excitement for a savory cocktail that is perfect on a warm summer night.
Those herbaceous notes, especially the dill, are vibrant and bright. It hits all the flavor notes that people expect with from that ranch condiment, without the creaminess. It is truly a game changer.
Of course, a food pairing makes this cocktail even more special. Similar to what the Yacht Club team offers at the Denver bar, the food of the night was hot dogs. But, these dogs were not dragged through the garden or served with a squirt of ketchup.
The Caviar Dog captures what Yacht Club does best. It is the familiar with a little bougie twist. Sure, a great tasting hot dog always satisfies, but it can be more than just that old school simplicity. A heaping amount of caviar, egg, and some pickled onions make it even better. It might not be caviar on Pringles or with Bugles, but it is the combination that proves high and low can always find a way to come together.
While this special event at illume was for one night only, the pop-up concept deserves more attention. Denver’s Yacht Club is a unique concept. Beyond its vibe, it is the use of forfeited wine in its cocktails that makes this bar special. Few mixologists put this concept front and center. Maybe these pop-ups can inspire the other bars to infuse that ingredient into some of their new cocktails.
Additionally, these special events will get people excited about visiting Yacht Club in Denver. Whether it is sipping on one of their signature cocktails, enjoying a taste of one of their impressive wines from the expansive collection, or just ordering that 7-11, there are plenty of reasons to find at seat at the bar and sail away into this special experience.
The illume Rooftop Bar at JW Marriott Bonnet Creek was one of several locations that hosted the Yacht Club pop-up event. The event was held on July 11. An additional event will be held in Arizona later this summer.
Yacht Club is located at 3701 N Williams ST Denver, CO 80205. The JW Marriott at Bonnet Creek and illume restaurant is located at 14900 Chelonia Parkway, Orlando, FL 32821.

Meet crush, the rare orange lobster diverted from dinner plate to aquarium by denver broncos fans.

The Downtown Aquarium in Denver has a new resident — a rare orange lobster that was rescued from a shipment of crustaceans delivered to a Red Lobster restaurant in Pueblo, Colorado.
A long-term employee who is a dishwasher and head biscuit maker spotted the bright orange lobster while unpacking a shipment last Friday and alerted restaurant managers, aquarium officials said. The staff named it Crush after the Denver Broncos' legendary Orange Crush defense from 1976 to 1986.

“Myself and many of my team are born and raised Denver Broncos fans, so as soon as we saw that orange color, we knew that Crush would be an excellent representation,” said Kendra Kastendieck, the restaurant's general manager. “And we all want our defensive line to be that good again."
When the Pueblo Zoo couldn't take Crush, Kastendieck called the Downtown Aquarium, which she said was interested right away.
Kastendieck packed Crush with ice packs in a plastic foam container and delivered it to the aquarium on Wednesday.
“As soon as they acclimated him to his quarantine tank at the Denver aquarium, he was very active right off the bat and was really exploring his little area,” Kastendieck said Thursday.
Staff had set up a tank with a new generation Denver Broncos helmet on top and an older generation one sitting in the tank “so he can actually climb into it and play around it,” she said.
Crush will be examined by a veterinarian and after 30 days in quarantine will be placed in the “Lurks” exhibit that houses other cold water North Atlantic Ocean species, aquarium staff said.
“We are thrilled to be able to share this very rare and extraordinary animal with the community and visitors to Colorado,” Ryan Herman, general curator at Denver Downtown Aquarium, said in a statement.
Crush was shipped to the Pueblo restaurant from a supplier in Tennessee. It was caught off a coast of Canada, said Kastendieck, but she was unable to confirm which coast.
Genetic mutations can lead to lobsters that are orange, blue and yellow. Downtown Aquarium has had one orange lobster previously.
The Downtown Aquarium has more than 700 species of fish along with a stingray reef and three Sumatran tigers.
Hanson reported from Helena, Montana.
