Motor Yacht

Medusa is a custom motor yacht launched in 2001 by Azimut Yachts and most recently refitted in 2018.

Azimut-Benetti's history dates back to 1969, when enterprising young college student Paolo Vitelli founded Azimut Srl. Azimut was founded as a sailing boat chartering company and has since grown to become one of the world’s leading yacht builders with over 10,000 vessels to its name.

Medusa measures 30.45 metres in length, with a max draft of 1.65 metres and a beam of 6.60 metres. She has a gross tonnage of 151 tonnes.

Medusa has a GRP hull with a GRP superstructure.

Her interior design is by Ken Freivokh Design.

Ken Freivokh Design is a multi-disciplinary team renowned for their uniquely creative design solutions.

Medusa also features naval architecture by Azimut Yachts.

Medusa has a top speed of 25.00 knots and a cruising speed of 16.00 knots. She is powered by a twin screw propulsion system.

MEDUSA for charter

With a large refit in 2017, MEDUSA is a big volume Azimut 30 Jumbo yacht equipped with all the equipment expected on a yacht if it's kind. She features a contemporary and clean interior with 4 en-suite, a cinema / lounge room and a large salon. During the refit, zero-speed stabilizers were added for extra comfort and provide a true lifestyle while on board. The deck spaces are the highlight of MEDUSA with an oversized fly bridge with a large jacuzzi, bar, sun-bathing area, dining and plenty of space for seating. During the refit, the fly-bridge was extended to ensure the space is of a true super-yacht's size. Another key feature is the hydraulic large swimming platform, which make it very comfortable and pleasant for everyone swimming. A beach club is often set up by the crew in the swimming platform area.

Performance & Range

Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, she has impressive speed and great efficiency thanks to her planing hull. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 16 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 25 knots with a range of up to 461 nautical miles from her 15,000 litre fuel tanks. With a shallow draft of 1.65m/5'5" Medusa can anchor closer to coves and sheltered bays overnight. An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

Medusa has a good selection of water toys and accessories to entertain you and your guests whilst on charter. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. Additionally, there are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. Another excellent feature are SEABOBs, offering a truly remarkable experience that lets you skim along the surface or swim with the fishes quietly and safely. If that isn't enough Medusa also features wakeboards, paddleboards and snorkelling equipment. Medusa also sports a 7.5m/24'7" RIB to transport you with ease.
