The affable Lil Yachty is on a quest to do “Better” in the romance department. For his new video, Lil Boat finds himself stranded on a deserted island a la Tom Hanks and uses his vivid imagination to paddle his way through his difficulties.

As Yachty belts away his feelings, the sappy romantic busily finds alternatives on how to survive. First, he shakes a coconut tree in hopes of striking gold, then, he does his best to fish with a wooden harpoon. Despite his ineptness, Yachty finds his dream girl to help smoothen out his hardships. “‘Cause you say it’s good, but it could be better/It always could always be better/Unlock your happiness and live for forever/I’ll express my life in a letter,” sings Yachty on the hook. 

Though he released his debut album  Teenage Emotions last May, Yachty has already made plans to drop the sequel to his celebrated project Lil Boat in the near future.

Lil Yachty Finds Love on a Deserted Island in ‘Better’ Video Featuring Stefflon Don [WATCH]

Lil Yachty finds himself without a boat in his new video for “Better.” The song is from his latest album, Teenage Emotions .

In the clip, the Atlanta rhymer wakes up on a deserted island and has to find ways to feed himself. First, he shakes a coconut tree and then he tries his hand at fishing with a wooden spear.

Although he’s alone on the island, Yacht is greeted by a gorgeous model walking out of the ocean. From there, Lil Boat and the young lady enjoy a romantic evening by the fire and share a kiss over the sunset.

In the midst of their canoodling, Quality Control's newest signee Stefflon Don makes a cameo to sing the chorus. Dancehall star Popcaan also appears in the clip. Overall, Yachty delivered a romantic and fun video for "Better."

Meanwhile, Lil Yachty is opening a pop-up pizza shop in Los Angeles on Saturday (Sept. 16). Yachty’s Pizzeria will be taking over Delicious Pizza restaurant at 6601 Sunset Boulevard from noon to 7PM. You will also be able to cop Yachty’s Pizzeria merch, including hats, jackets and shirts as well.

Lil Yachty Makes Out With A Sand Sculpture In His ‘Better’ Video

Summer ‘17 is winding all the way down, but not before Lil Yachty gets in one last beach run. The former King of Teens (he just turned 20 last month) puts his sparkling smile and sing-song flow front and center in the island-set video for Teenage Emotions standout “Better.”

In the Pensacola-directed vid, Yachty gets marooned on a tropical island and puts his survival skills to the test by (unsuccessfully) spearfishing and cracking a coconut open. Never mind, though — he’s got the girl of his dreams to come rescue him... kind of. Elsewhere in the vid, dancehall legend Popcaan makes a cameo, and U.K. rapper Stefflon Don shows up in her sexiest island attire to deliver her own sweet verse.

Oh, and Yachty definitely, totally gets a mouthful of sand at the very end of the clip. The castaway life is a brutal one.

Lil Boat is marooned on a picturesque island, left by his lonesome to sing his aspirational love song and, eventually, create the girl of his dreams. From collaborations with Nautica and local pizzerias , onto his own line of potato chips , you can say what you want about Lil Yachty , but one thing you cannot question is his work ethic. Today, the Lil Boat rapper is back at it as he revisits his Teenage Emotions album to share a tropical new video for “Better.”

In the visual, you’ll find the young Atlanta rapper in a vulnerable state as he suddenly wakes up alone on a secluded island. Before you know it, he discovers a ravishing, rare creature with a voluptuous posterior and all things suddenly take a turn for the better. However you feel about Lil Yachty’s colorful hair, his sparkling diamond smile, or his unusual, laid-back, sing-song flow — positive or negative — you’d be hard pressed to find a complaint about the infectious Teenage Emotions standout “Better,” which gets a relaxing, Castaway -themed music video today, complete with a cameo from dancehall legend Popcaan.

The former King of the Teens (he turned 20 just a few weeks ago, on the 23rd of August) finds himself marooned on a beautiful tropical island, but is rescued from his isolation by his dream girl. The pair retreat to Yachty’s island hideaway for a sensual night in (what else is there to do on a deserted beach, after all?), serenaded by guest UK singer/rapper Stefflon Don.

Yachty’s rollout for Teenage Emotions has been impeccable, from the prom-themed video for “ Bring It Back ,” to the amusement park outing in “ Forever Young ,” he’s been pushing the album hard to make up for its disappointing release-week sales with long-term legs.

As he says in the lyrics to “Better,” “Everything in life won’t always be pleasure / You work for the treasure, just to live even more.” Whether or not you feel Yachty is “ruining hip-hop,” at the very least, you have to admit he lives by his words. Yachty keeps it real.

15. "Plastic" - Lil Yachty (feat. Icewear Vezzo and Rio Da Yung OG) (2021)

What better way to start this list off than Lil Yachty's iconic Michigan Boy Boat album from 2021? This banger features the likes of Icewear Vezzo and Rio Da Yung OG, who matched Yachty's energy perfectly. Talk about a Michigan masterpiece: "Plastic" shows off the best elements of the hip-hop sub-genre.

14. "Who Want The Smoke?" - Lil Yachty (feat. Cardi B and Offset) (2018)

Who can forget the first time they heard "Who Want The Smoke?" with Lil Yachty, Offset, and Cardi B all together on a single song. The energy was absolutely electric, and it's no coincidence why all three of them have continued to thrive in their respective careers to this day.

Yachty has a knack for putting listeners on to the best underground artists, and that's exactly what he did here with Draft Day. If you're a seasoned Yachty listener, then this feature should've came at no surprise to you.

Here's yet another one of the best Lil Yachty songs. Off of Yachty's Nuthin' to Prove album, "Get Dripped" gave fans a rare glance at just how special Yachty and Carti collabs are. As far as timeless Lil Yachty classics go, this song is one of the top options. Trippie Redd and Lil Yachty both bring an unconventional style to the table, so of course the result of their collaboration is exactly that: unconventional.

6. G.I. Joe - Lil Yachty (feat. Louie Ray) (2021)

Another song from Yachty's Michigan Boy Boat album, "G.I. Joe" was yet another standout. It's great to see the chemistry Yachty has with all of the many features from this project, but there's something especially unique about the energy shared between Boat and Louie Ray.

5. "All of the Opps Is Opp'd" - Lil Yachty (Unreleased)

While not everyone is probably hip to this song, everybody should be. This Cash Cobain-produced banger samples Roy Ayers' "Everybody Loves the Sunshine," and turned it into a contemporary drill classic. Thank us later.

Lil Yachty and Stefflon Don Get Stranded on a Deserted Island in “Better” Video

Lil Yachty is still on the road for his Teenage Tour but he's still making sure his fans at home have a new video to tide them over. The rapper releases the visuals for his song "Better" with Stefflon Don , which finds the two stranded on a deserted island.

While the video starts off with Lil Boat waking up in the sand, he eventually comes across a beauty that he serenades and bonds with as they're left on the island. Other scenes show Yachty alongside Stefflon at a bonfire in the nighttime, where they sing about life getting better as they learn to make the best out of nothing.

Eventually, cameras zoom away from the island into the sky, revealing that the deserted land is actually in the shape of Yachty's face, with the trees shaping his signature red braids.

"Better" comes straight off of the Atlanta native's  Teenage Emotions debut album that dropped earlier this year. While the project didn't live up to sales expectations, fans still seem to be enjoying the material Yachty is putting out in support of it.

The "Peek a Boo" rapper is about to embark on his Teenage Tour, which kicks off tonight in Los Angeles, Calif. and wraps up on Oct. 20 in his home city of Atlanta.

In celebration, the scorer of the third goal for the Gunners and who has also been in incredible form this April, Kai Havertz, took the joy of defeating Spurs to social media, trolling their rivals in the most hilarious way possible. Artificially hilarious, if we may.

Following his goalscoring victory against Tottenham in the North London Derby, Havertz posted a video on X with the caption “Mood” where, with the help of artificial intelligence, replaces famous American rapper Lil Yachty in one of his viral concert entrances with hit song “Coffin.”

The result? An iconic video that is to be used by Arsenal fans for years to come.

The Cyber Crime division of Kolkata Police on Monday sent a notice to two social media users for posting a video which was "offensive, malicious, and inciting". The video in question was an AI spoof of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, showing her dancing on a stage.

The police warned two X users -- @SoldierSaffron7 and @Shalendervoice -- for sharing the spoof video of Mamata Banerjee.

The video, first shared on X handle @SoldierSaffron7, shows an AI version of Mamata Banerjee dancing as she walks on a stage.

The original video shows American rapper Lil Yachty making a stage entrance. The video, which was posted on YouTube Jun 21, 2022, has become a popular meme template with people using Sora AI to replace Lil Yachty with renowned figures, including Hitler and DC supervillain Joker.

Social media users also wondered why the police sent a notice over a spoof video.

April's Best Jewelry Purchases Including Lil Yachty and Rihanna's Latest Grills

Lil Yachty, Rihanna, and Playboi Carti were some of the celebrities unveiling the best jewelry in April 2024.

Grills seem to be a hot commodity right now. No, we aren't talking about a new Weber for the Memorial Day backyard barbecue in a few weeks. Some of our favorite celebrities decided to pay a visit to the jewelry store in April to get some new ice.

We saw Lil Yachty hit up AB Jewelers in Miami for a full diamond set, Rihanna do her best James Bond villain impression for her Interview cover shoot, and Playboi Carti reach out to one of his go-to shops in Atlanta, Jewelry Unlimited, for an unconventional set of blue open face grills.

Lil Yachty's Grill

Jeweler: AB Jewelers

"I got known for my grill like I'm Gary Coleman," raps Lil Yachty on the track "Jeff and Lita." The bar is actually a hilarious reference to Drake and Josh , but that's besides the point. Of course, when you rap like that you have to have some crazy grills in your arsenal to back up the claim. Yachty has hit up everyone from Icebox to Johnny Dang throughout his career. For his latest mouthpiece, he went to Miami's AB Jewelers. The 20-tooth top and bottom set features 16 teeth with invisible set VVS+ diamonds. The remaining four molars are open face with diamond borders. This isn't Yachty's only grill from AB. The gold smile on the "Strike (Holster)" cover is also courtesy of the Miami-based business. 

Rihanna's 'Jaws' Grill

Jeweler: Gabby Elan

Unfortunately, an illness kept Rihanna off the Met Gala carpet this year, but at least we got that photoshoot a few weeks ago to accompany her Interview  cover story. One of the standout images from the shoot saw Rihanna doing her best impression of the James Bond villain Jaws. The signature element of Jaws' appearance are his titanium grills. For her set, Rihanna hit up Gabby Elan. Despite its simplistic appearance, this grill did present some challenges. "They're kind of a jigsaw style on the teeth and the real trick was getting the bite aligned properly within the gold," Elan Pinhasov of Gabby Elan tells Complex . Pinhasov also notes that Rihanna refused to have the piece made by any jeweler besides them. Quite a stamp of approval. 

Future and Metro Boomin's Boominati Freebandz Chains

To celebrate We Don't Trust You and We Still Don't Trust You ( and igniting the biggest rap feud of the past decade), Future and Metro Boomin hit up one of the best jewelers in the game for some new pendants. The piece fuses the logos of Metro's Boominati and Future's Freebandz. The result is a gold pyramid with an eagle's face poking out of the front and its wings extending out of each side. The back of the chain is inscribed with the phrase "Forever or Never." This looks like some shit straight out of Yu-Gi-Oh! We approve. 

Marvin Harrison Jr.'s Draft Day Chain

Jeweler: Leo Khusro

These days, their new team's cap isn't the only signature accessory we see draft picks rocking at the NFL Draft. More and more every year, we see these players celebrating the huge milestone by showing off some new ice. One of the best examples we saw this year was around the neck of the best wideout in the 2024 class and son of NFL legend Marvin Harrison, Marvin Harrison Jr. The newest member of the Arizona Cardinals was wearing a an oval-shaped pendant with diamonds around the border and enamel paintings on each side inspired by the strong bond with his father that was crafted by Leo Khusro. One side features an images of a lion cub and its father. The flip side shows an illustration of Harrison Jr. as a child and his dad in his number "88" Indianapolis Colts uniform. 

This was far from the only piece by Khusro that made it to Draft for the NFL Draft. Cornerbacks Kool-Aid McKinstry and Kamari Lassiter also got some amazing chains of their own. The Texas-based jeweler continues to prove why he's become the go-to guy for some of the best athletes in the world. 

Playboi Carti's Blue Open Face Grill

Jeweler: Jewelry Unlimited

Wafi Lalani's Jewelry Unlimited has become a go-to source for Playboi Carti when he wants to grab some new custom pieces. The most recent purchase that Carti has shown off was a set of grills. There is no gold or diamonds to speak of on this one. Instead, Carti opted for metallic blue metal. From what we can see in the photos shared by Jewelry Unlimited, the set features two blue spacers on the top and a row of open face teeth across the bottom. These aren't nearly as intricate as some of Carti's other recent customs from the Atlanta-based jewelry store, like this Opium Rolex , but the pop of color still makes them pretty unique nonetheless.
