A charter to Formentera is the stuff that dreams are made of. Just off the coast of Ibiza, Formentera is the smallest and most southerly of the Balearic Islands measuring around 20 km long and about 2 km wide. The beaches have some of the whitest sand that you can find in the Mediterranean and the sea is clear and a beautiful shade of turquoise. There’s a reason that it is often compared to islands in the Caribbean. There isn’t an airport, which helps to make the island even more exclusive, as you can only get there by boat. You can get to Formentera by boat in less than an hour from Ibiza Town and in only a few hours from San Antonio. If you would like to reserve your chosen dates, a deposit of 700 EUR can be made to secure your dates. The method of payment can be done in the following ways:

• Bank transfer

• Cash – if you have the possibility to make a reservation directly in Ibiza 😉

Once we have received your payment, you will receive a booking confirmation within 24 hours. The remaining amount of the charter, along with fuel and any extra amenities is to be paid in cash or card on the morning of the charter.

You can pay it all in advance and immediately receive a confirmation of your booking. We prefer reservations in advance, but we can often accommodate last minute charters. You never know your luck so give us a call or email us and we will try our best to accommodate you!

There is a wide variety of options. Our staff can help you figure out a plan for your day out on the waters. Many clients choose to go to Formentera via the island of Es Palmador, which is only accessible by boat. Discuss your needs with our staff and your skipper to work out the best places to go, ensuring that the wind and sea conditions are favorable at your preferred destinations.

There are two ways we calculate fuel costs.

• Our estimates are based on set routes and therefore will be the same each time.
• By calculating the number of hours the engines were running and how much fuel they burned per hour, using a meter.

More than 90 days before the charter start date: Clients may cancel their booking and receive a full refund of any amounts paid, less an administrative fee to cover processing costs.

60 to 89 days before the charter start date: Clients are eligible to receive a 50% refund of the total charter fee.

Less than 60 days before the charter start date: No refunds will be available, as we are unlikely to rebook the yacht for the specified period on short notice.

We strongly recommend clients consider travel insurance that covers charter cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness or travel disruptions. This ensures that your investment is protected, and you can look forward to your luxury yacht charter experience with peace of mind.

Immediate Concerns: If your complaint is related to the yacht or services provided during your charter, we kindly ask you to inform the captain or the head crew member as soon as possible. Many issues can be resolved quickly when addressed in real time, ensuring the rest of your charter experience remains enjoyable

Formal Complaint: If your concern cannot be resolved during the charter or if it pertains to issues before or after your yacht experience, please submit a formal complaint in writing within 14 days of the charter's conclusion. You can email us directly at [email protected] .

Investigation Process: Upon receiving your complaint, our customer service team dealing with Ibiza Yacht Charter will conduct a thorough investigation.

Resolution: We aim to resolve all complaints within 30 days of receipt. We will provide you with a written response detailing the outcome of our investigation.

For most Ibiza yacht charters to be secured, you will usually need to provide a completed charter agreement and 50% of the charter fee as a deposit. This is payable once the contract has been signed.

You will have a greater variety of yachts to pick from if you decide to start your charter in Ibiza or Mallorca compared to mainland destinations. Whilst Barcelona certainly has a considerable array of yachts to choose from, it is not as extensive as the islands. 

We also strongly recommend that you book your yacht charter in Ibiza at least three months in advance to ensure you get the yacht you desire. The longer you leave it, you'll find you'll have less choice available.

There is a yacht to suit almost every budget in Ibiza so rest assured that you will find a vessel suitable to your requirements.

But when booking do keep in mind the costs that aren't included in the base rate, namely VAT and the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance). The APA is usually paid in advance of the charter and is commonly set at 30% of the charter fee. This allowance covers expenses such as fuel, berthing, food and drinks, as well as any special requests. 

Please consult your yacht charter broker for any other costs you may need to factor in.

As for footwear, you will only need comfortable shoes and flip flops, although we recommend soft-soled and non-slip shoes to walk on the boat. Another essential thing is sun protection. The spray or sunscreen are very important to not burn you because the sun in the Mediterranean is very strong. Another way to protect yourself from the sun is with a hat to prevent sunstroke and to protect the head and face. We also advise you to wear long linen clothes to protect you during the hours of more intense sunlight. Ibiza is rightly proud of the quality of its restaurants. In San Rafael, El Ayoun celebrates the best of Mediterranean and North African cuisine while in the Santa Eulalia area Bambuddha Grove, resembling a Thai temple where fine food is the object of worship, brings a touch of MediterrAsian exotica to the table.

Just a few miles off the coast, Formentera also offers some fantastic beaches and is the home of some fine beach eateries, most memorably the legendary Juan y Andrea.

Pacha has been a popular choice for clubbers since 1973, while Privilege, located close to San Rafael, is not only remarkable for its music but is the world's largest nightclub. Less than a kilometre away, Amnesia attracts the world's best DJs and has hosted gigs by some top music acts including Snoop Dogg and Duran Duran.

Ushuaia is one of Ibiza's key places to see and be seen. Obscured by the sand dunes at the end of Playa D'en Bossa this five-star beach club combines a relaxed ambience, excellent music and superb food. The Ushuaia Tower opens in summer 2013 and will be an exciting combination of luxurious hotel and top music venue.

Mallorca: A-List Island

Of all the Balearic islands, Mallorca has probably the greatest number of contrasts to offer the holidaymaker and its attractions are far too numerous for one week's vacation. Its reputation as a holiday destination was established in the 1950s, when the airport celebrated the arrival of one million passengers; these days that has increased to 21 million. Over the years celebrities such as Richard Branson, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Mick Jagger, Sting, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones have bought property here.

The largest of all the Balearic islands, yet easy to navigate, it is possible to drive from the bustling city of Palma in the south to the popular holiday resort of Puerto Pollença in the north in less than hour.

CALA-JONDAL (IBIZA)

Home of the legendary Blue Marlin, this groovy little rocky beach is probably one of the coolest spots on Ibiza. Anchor here and get taken into one of the restaurants by private tender service and prepare to dance the afternoon away in style.

ES-PALMADOR (FORMENTERA)

This gorgeous, deserted island is one of the most beautiful places in the Mediterranean and definitely a spot that we would recommend stopping off at.
