Welcome to Darling Point Sailing Squadron

Darling Point Sailing Squadron  is situated at the northern end of Manly Boat Harbour on Norfolk Point, Manly, Brisbane.

Catering for off-the-beach dinghies and skiffs the club enjoys a prime position with easy access to beautiful Waterloo Bay.

'Affordable, family-friendly sailing on the bay'

DPSS  runs regular Sunday sailing during the Summer season (September to April) and monthly sailing during the Winter season (May to August).

We offer Learn to sail courses for all ages and a sailing pathway for those who wish to continue to afternoon racing for the competitive sailors.

    Darling Point Sailing Squadron. Details. The Tackers 2 course runs for three days and costs $340 and is aimed at 6-12 year old kids who have completed Tackers 1. Please register your child's name, not yours. DPSS Start Sailing 1&2 for teens 8-10 April 24. Monday 8 April 8:00am-3:30pm Tuesday 9 April 8:15am-3:30pm Wednesday 10 April 8:15am-3:30pm.

  2. Darling Point’s Own: The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia

    If you live beyond the 5km radius, you can attend the club as a visitor. The Sydney Hobart Yacht Race 2020 fleet will set sail for Hobart at 1pm on Boxing Day off Nielsen Park, Vaucluse. Darling Point, Point Piper and Hornby Lighthouse at Watson Bay are all excellent vantage points from which to watch the start of the race.
