Over 2.5 hours, discover nature’s beautiful gifts on a tour of the most famous stops in this “Magical Town” and its surrounding lagoon. We can take various routes to the Caribbean Sea.History tells us that these routes were used before and after the fall of the Mayan empire.

During this tour, you will be surprised when you discover the depth of the Cenote de la Bruja (Witch’s Cenote) , whose various mysterious legends envelop you in their unique and magical world . You will also visit the Pirates’ Channel , which tells us part of the history of the routes built and used by the Maya, and later by PIRATES to take booty and treasure from the area. We will sail around the marvelous Bird Island, and from our sailboat, listen to their murmured song, while taking in the region’s wide variety of native birds and fauna. This tour includes professional snorkeling equipment, which you will find useful at the cenote and canal stops. At the canal, we will also make a stop at the sandbars, to take a dip and enjoy a natural exfoliation . We will also bring binoculars and a dry bag to safeguard your delicate belongings. The cost also includes a delicious and healthy snack and juices made from fresh fruit.If you let us know in advance, the sandwich may be substituted for a fresh ceviche made with shrimp, fish, or a blend of the two, for a small fee.

In our 4-hour tour, you will see more spectacular sights in our 7-color lagoon: Cenote de la Bruja, the Pirates’ Channel, Bird Island, and Cenote Esmeralda.The stromatolites are natural treasures that are almost globally unique ! They are more than 350 million years old, making them some of the oldest evidence of life on earth.

Today, stromatolites are only visible in a few places on earth, including BACALAR.Definitely worth seeing!These tours also include snorkeling at each stop, a dry bag for delicate devices and a delicious snack or fruit, with fresh water or fruit juice. RAPIDS TOUR

A magical, unique experience ! With the wind as our propeller, you’ll spend 6 hours on our sailing catamaran visiting the most important stops on the lagoon and witnessing its 7 colors: UNFORGETTABLE . Starting at the Cenote de la Bruja, and stopping by Bird Island, the Pirates’ Channel, and the stromatolites, you’ll see several cenotes and springs of water (“ojos de agua”), until you reach the rapids.The rapids are unusual because they consist of a strong water current flowing through a very narrow canal that connects Bacalar and the Xul-ha cenote.In order to preserve the stromatolites and the mangroves.Sailing in the canal is prohibited, so we will remain on the outskirts. This tour also includes professional snorkeling, a dry bag, and binoculars.You’ll dine on fresh and delicious ceviche made with shrimp, fish, or both!

SUNRISE TOUR

The lagoon is always spectacular, but its sunrises   are unique and magical . It’s worth getting up early to go SAILING for 2 hours to admire everything the lagoon has to offer when the sun appears on the horizon. Soaking in the contrasting red and orange hues as the first sun rays pierce through, provides a different taste of the lagoon; one without waves, noise, or people. It’s just you and the murmur of nature. Trail your fingers through   the crystalline water ; this is something you definitely have to experience , accompanied with some good Mayan coffee and sweet bread cooked over a wood fire to help you wake up.This service is also ideal for those guests who want something different to wake up to, for those who practice meditation or yoga, and for those who are looking for a fantastic, relaxing atmosphere .

This is a different way to enjoy the sunset over Bacalar, while welcoming the arrival of the light of the moon and stars.

There’s nothing better that taking along a bottle of wine of your choice (white or red) and a variety of fresh and aged cheeses from local producers, along with fresh bread.

Canal de los piratas.

Llamado así porque fue por ahí que en el siglo XVIII arribaban los piratas y contrabandistas desde la costa de Mahahual al pueblo de Bacalar.

Isla de los pájaros

Lugar ideal para el ecoturismo así como para los fanáticos en la fotografía, en ella se encuentra gran variedad de especies de aves

Cenote de la bruja

Se encuentra dentro de la laguna a cielo abierto, este cenote es el más pequeño en diámetro de los cuatro con 130 metros aproximadamente

Cenote Esmeralda

Su nombre se debe a su color, es un cenote oculto, en este se puede apreciar un ojo de agua que alimenta a la Laguna de Bacalar
