The difference they offer is a charter where you can sail, and sleep aboard without a captain and crew.

The Catamaran Spread Eagle has been providing tours from Fajardo for decades.

The difference factor with Spread Eagle is that they have a larger variety of lunch options.

They also provide you with a brand-new snorkel included in the tour. This is a nice touch, as opposed to a used one.

The Spread Eagle catamarans depart from Villa Marina in Fajardo.  

The tour is 5 hours, and if you’re departing from the San Juan area you should leave 2 hours earlier. This charter company does not offer transportation with the tour.

If you would prefer to see the sights of Old San Juan , this morning mimosa tour is an option.

The Katarina Catamaran sails on the west coast of Rincon.

The boat is a 32-foot catamaran that can accommodate 17 guests. They include rum punch, lunch, refreshments, and snorkeling.

The Katarina Catamaran is moored in Rincon. You will need to board a small watercraft from the Balneario of Rincon, which transports you to the bigger boat.

This tour might be challenging for people staying in the San Juan metro area. It’s recommendable to stay on the west coast so that you can arrive on time.

I did the tour to icacos island and palomino with the captain Jay, pablito and I forgot the tall guy name but three of them were great! We had a blast on our tour. Drinks were amazing. My friend and I took the tour to Tamarindo and Flamenco beach and it was amazing. The weather was perfect which made the ride super smooth. We were a fortunate group to enjoy a beautiful day. 🤿 MASK AND SNORKEL

Most of these tours include snorkeling equipment, and that is totally fine to use theirs if you wish. However, if you want to bring your own for sanitary reasons, or to ensure they fit the way you like, you can do that too!

Of course, you will need a swimsuit if you planning on spending the day on the water. Another good thing to think about is purchasing a rash guard . This can be in place of your swim suit, or over the top. Rash guards are lightweight, dry quickly, and help protect you from sunburn. This limits the amount of sunscreen you need to put on as well!

Some tours provide floats or tubes to get in the water with, but you cant guarantee they will have enough for everyone or they will be one you like. I know a float isn’t something most people get excited about but let me tell you how OBSESSED I am with these floaties !

They pack up so small, weigh nothing, are easy to inflate, and are so comfortable in the water. They are a must for me when making my Caribbean packing list !

My wife and I just spent a great afternoon sailing on the Janice catamaran. The boat is in great shape, and has lots of room for passengers to relax (they only take up to 6 passengers at a time). The crew was great, and we especially want to mention Ivan, who worked with us over several days to arrange a date/time where the weather would be good and charters were available.

Even though the water was a bit choppy, the boat was nice and stable (especially when the boat was moored off an island), and we had a very relaxing sail.

Captain Bill and his first mate were fantastic. From the moment we arrived and Captain Bill helped us get parked and to the boat to making sure we had a ride back to the car from the boat. In between was a great day with only 6 passengers being pampered and spoiled for the entire day. I was even provided a great vegetarian lunch with no advance warning. What a wonderful experience! The crew (Ashley and Scott) and captain Bill were wonderful! Bilingual staff. Super attentive. My daughter (age 10) and I had an excellent time and definitely recommend this to anyone! Lunch, grilled on the boat, was fantastic. We had a great time! They had to go to Vieques instead of Culebra but it was still beautiful!! EVERY employee was great! They were very attentive and made sure we were having a great time! The food was good! The chicken salad was amazing! We are definitely going to use East Island Excursions on our next trip back!!

Fantastic day trip as always. I cannot say enough about what a great time we had once again on the catamaran day cruise. This was my 12th trip with them in the 20 years that I have been visiting Puerto Rico. The captain and the crew are exceptional in their service and friendly demeanor. The variety of drinks was great and the food tasty and well planned out for a day on the ocean. I completely recommend this day trip to anybody visiting the island. I guarantee you will have nothing but a great time and a day of Wonderful memories.

Recently booked a snorkeling tour to Icacos and it was amazing. The prices were fair and they were able to provide transportation from Viejo San Juan for an additional cost. The crew was amazing and took care of us. They were very attentive and they kept the drinks coming. The water conditions weren’t the best for snorkeling but they did their best to find us s spot. Accessing the beach required to swim from the boat. It wasn’t ideal but made it fun. I intend to book again on my next trip to PR. Next time it’ll be Culebra. Keep up the good work. I would love to hear more reguetón and more Latin music next time.

The captain and his crew were delightful

We went out to flamingo Island owned by Puerto Rico. It was absolutely beautiful. The captain And his crew were delightful. The lunch was delicious and they kept the drinks rolling in. The captain even had a specialty drink, called the Jellyfish. They made the experience fun and memorable. I would highly recommend If you want a beautiful white sand island, and a group of people that made it fun. Book a trip with these guys…
