First Look Inside Palumbo's First Extra Alloy 130 L.A.U.L

Palumbo has released first-look images of the first Extra 130 Alloy motor yacht  L.A.U.L. , after the yacht made its debut at the  Monaco Yacht Show  last month.

It follows the launch of the yacht, which took place on September 4 at the yard's Savona shipyard in Italy.

Designed inside and out by  Francesco Guida ,  L.A.U.L  features naval architecture by  Studio Rogantin  in collaboration with Palumbo Superyachts.

The yacht's profile contrasts white fibreglass and aluminium surfaces with dark windows, while her interiors are designed to optimise space and better connect guests to the sea.

An al fresco dining area can be found on the upper deck, complete with TV, bar, a sofa and chaise-lounge as well as a large sunbathing zone.

The main deck forward is equipped with a swimming pool and sunbathing area as well as a relaxation zone with a c-shaped sofa. Inside, her main saloon features floor-to-ceiling windows offering sea views.

She can accommodate up to ten guests in five en suite cabins, comprising a full-beam master cabin on the main deck, two doubles a VIP and a twin. The crew area can sleep up to six staff in four cabins.

Moving aft, a hydraulic retractable mechanism allows the transom to open, revealing the large garage housing a 5.36 metre tender and a Jet Ski.

Power comes from two 1800hp CAT engines offering a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 15.5 knots. When trimmed back to 12 knots she has a range of over 3000 nautical miles.

L.A.U.L.  is the third Extra to hit the water this year after the Extra 86 Fast  Mini K  and the Extra 93  Ohanna .

Also under construction at Extra Yachts are two new Extra 86 superyachts, both of which are for sale and scheduled for delivery in 2020.

The new EXTRA 130’ Alloy motor yacht renamed “L.A.U.L.” was launched today at the Palumbo Superyachts shipyard in Savona.

Measuring 40 metres in length and built in just 15 months from signing the contract with a European ship owner, L.A.U.L. is the flagship of the EXTRA Yachts line and is the third to take to the water this year after the EXTRA 86’ Fast “Mini K” and the EXTRA 93’ “Ohanna”.

The EXTRA line was developed in 2018 with its first 76-foot model immediately meeting great success at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2018 where it was unveiled. Today, the EXTRA range comprises the following models: 76, 86, 86 Fast, 93, 120 Alloy and 130 Alloy.

EXTRA owners are always looking for strong emotions to live in full contact with the sea, both during navigation and at anchor. Obviously, the maximum comfort is guaranteed by the very large internal and external volumes stemming from the creative talent of Francesco Guida.

The eye-catching design of the profile expresses its marked personality, immediately recognisable by its uniqueness. A refined play of contrasts between the clear and soft white surfaces of fiberglass or aluminium and the elegant dark windows.

The naval architecture of L.A.U.L. is by Studio Rogantin in collaboration with the technical department of Palumbo Superyachts.

“2019 has been an extremely significant year for the EXTRA range, with the delivery of three new models and the consolidation of the brand on the market” states Giuseppe Palumbo, Managing Director of Palumbo Superyachts. “The launch of EXTRA 130 Alloy L.A.U.L. in Savona fills me with pride because, in less than a year from the acquisition of the yard, we’ve managed to build a new-generation 40-metre boat and implement a robust activity related to the refit and maintenance of dozens of superyachts from 24 to 60 metres with a great economic impact on the local economy. We have integrated the workers, we have respected every single condition for winning the tender and our long-term strategy involves further investments on the site.”.

EXTRA Yachts has also under construction and for sale two new EXTRA 86 with scheduled delivery in 2020.

The new EXTRA models will be presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival (EX 86 Fast and EX 93), the Monaco Yacht Show (EX 130 Alloy) and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (EX 86 Fast).

EXTRA 130 Alloy M/Y L.A.U.L.

EXTRA 130 Alloy is a superyacht that does not go unnoticed also thanks to its 40 metre length and 8.4 metre width enclosing an interior volume of 390 GT. An impressive number of advantages make EXTRA 130 Alloy the perfect superyacht for socializing and entertaining with family and friends. For example, the upper deck boasts an outdoor dining area complete with TV, bar, a large sofa and chaise-lounge as well as a large sunbathing zone and several seats.

The impeccable interiors are designed to optimize space and make it comfortable so to facilitate guests’ entertainment and enjoyment of the breathtaking view of the ocean through the impressive floor-to-ceiling windows in the main salon. The main deck forward is equipped with a swimming pool and sunbathing area as well as a relaxation zone with a c-shaped sofa. The interior layout comprises four cabins including 1 VIP, 1 twin and 2 double guest rooms all with private bathrooms on the lower deck, and a full-beam master cabin on the main deck.

The crew area has 4 cabins sleeping 6 people while the captain’s cabin is on the upper deck adjacent to the wheelhouse. EXTRA 130’ has aluminium hull and superstructure and is equipped with two 1800HP CAT engines guaranteeing a top speed of 17 knots, a cruising speed of 15.5 knots and a range of over 3000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Further aft is the indoor formal dining room and finally the comfortable and spacious main deck salon. This entire deck is flanked by windows that allow in natural light and provide exceptional views. Moving outdoors on the main deck, guests can enjoy alfresco dining with a large table for 10. This space also is outfitted by a full bar. Here a staircase leads up to the bridge deck aft and two additional staircases lead down to the yacht’s swim platform, which is an excellent place for seaside sunbathing or launching water toys.

Bridge Deck

The bridge deck aft is the ideal space for carrying tenders and toys. Further forward is a covered lounge. Moving inside the yacht, guests can enjoy the skylounge, which features comfortable seating, a full bar, an electric fireplace and a dayhead. The bridge is located forward inside. The vessel includes float in float out wet dock that will be able to hold a 65-70 foot sport fisherman in the stern, when the sport fish is removed the tender well becomes a deep swimming pool.  She is diesel electric with Azipod drives.   The vessel has the capability of landing two helicopters and can house both helicopters in a single hangar.  The vessel also has a large tender garage that could hold multiple smaller vessels including a RIB, flats boat, jets skis and two submarines.  The vessel has accommodations for 18 guests and crew of 36.  The vessel would be commercial fit and finish on the exterior and the interior are envisioned to be built to high end cruise ship standards.

The 75m Explorer, by Admiral Shipyards is an example of a Semi Custom Build. The yacht’s exterior design, which remains unnamed, is a display of an elegant yet robust platform with generous exterior deck spaces. The expansive aft deck is designed to accommodate an Agusta Grande helicopter, complete with a storage and refueling hangar below deck.

The interior is spread across four decks and will be finished in a timeless nautical style that is finished with contemporary elements, which will be built and installed by German interio specialists, Fitz Interior. The owner, who is expected to spend prolonged period onboard, will be treated to an exclusive main deck area covering over 300 square metres with five additional guest suites on the lower deck.

The Mangusta 130 motor yacht VOYAGE has a modern and chic interior matching her sleek exterior lines. Both indoor and outdoor areas offers comfort and luxury. Her main salon on the main level offers comfortable seating and dining and has the option her hard top roof being closed for a cosy feel or open on gorgeous sunny days or starry nights. Down below there is a second salon for relaxing or watching the huge flat screen TV.

Motor yacht VOYAGE can sleep up to 9 charter guests in opulent overnight accommodation and up to 12 guests cruising during the day. She has 4 cabins below deck including a Master stateroom and VIP stateroom and 2 twin cabins. Her Master cabin is equipped with a Plasma TV, DVD/CD/HiFi, Phone, Vanity, Sofa Lounge, Ensuite Bathroom with Spa Pool and an entertainment area with sofa lounge.

Motor yacht VOYAGE also has generous outdoor spaces from her foredeck seating area which can be used for el fresco dining and sun pads for sun lovers, the spacious aft deck with large sun pads great for at anchor or while in port.

The Mangusta 130 yacht displays powerful and aggressive exterior lines in keeping with her sporty ocean performance. Her two MTU 16V4000M93 diesel engines throw out a maximum power of 6880 kilo watts giving a top seed of 33 knots and a cruising speed of 30knots.

The Mangusta 130' was awarded the 2005 Design and Innovation Prize at European Yacht Trophies. The charter yacht VOYAGE has a qualified crew of 6 and is based in Cannes France, ready for charters along the French Riviera and other Western Mediterranean locations.

The 39.62m/130' motor yacht 'The B&B' (ex. Lucky Seven) was built by Westport Yachts in the United States at their Westport, WA shipyard. Her interior is styled by American designer design house Westport Yachts and she was completed in 2006. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Gregory Marshall and she was last refitted in 2017.

Guest Accommodation

The B&B has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising two VIP cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Her features include a gym, deck jacuzzi, WiFi and air conditioning.

Range & Performance

The B&B is built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M90) 2,735hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 25 knots with a range of up to 3,000 nautical miles from her 37,476 litre fuel tanks at 12 knots. An advanced stabilisation system on board promises exceptional comfort levels at anchor or on any voyage. Her water tanks store around 6,132 Litres of fresh water. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) classification society rules.
