Dutch shipyard Heesen has successfully delivered the stunning 80m (262ft) superyacht GENESIS to her new owner, setting a new benchmark for the yard as the biggest yacht they have built to date.

Surpassing the previous record holders of Galactica Super Nova at 70m (229.6ft) and charter yacht ILLUSION at 65m (213ft), the new flagship is a custom-built motor yacht with design collaborations from Van Oossanen Naval Architects, Winch Design, and Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design. Embodying the classic, sporty DNA of the Heesen fleet, GENESIS is undeniably a true Heesen superyacht but with a contemporary and almost futuristic twist on previous builds.

Sporting a six-cabin layout, superyacht GENESIS hosts an army of indulgent features and amenities including a fully certified touch-and-go helipad that can also transform into an outdoor cinema, a glass-bottomed swimming pool, abundant exterior deck space for socializing and relaxing in the Mediterranean sun, plus an on-deck Jacuzzi and WiFi connectivity.

Enabling the owner and their guests seamless access to the sea, motor yacht GENESIS has a generous beach club environment with a wet bar, in addition to plenty of storage for adrenaline-fuelled water toys.

Currently, it is not expected that M/Y GENESIS will be made available for charter. However, if you’re interested in chartering a yacht of a similar caliber, you can view and compare all  Heesen superyachts for charter .

Dutch-built yachts: a rich tradition of excellence.

The world of yacht building has a rich history, and one country that stands out for its exceptional craftsmanship and innovation is the Netherlands. Dutch yacht builders have crafted a reputation as being among the world's very best. With a prestigious history of boat building that dates back centuries, the Netherlands has emerged as a hub for high-value, high-quality yacht construction.

A history of Dutch boat building

The dominance of Dutch yacht builders in the superyacht industry can be traced back to the 1500s. The word "yacht" is from the Dutch word "jacht," which means hunting or hunt. The Dutch navy initially used yachts as light, fast sailing vessels to pursue pirates and other transgressors in the shallow waters of the Low Countries. However, wealthy Dutch merchants soon became interested in these vessels and began building private yachts for pleasure trips.

By the start of the 17th century, the Dutch had developed two categories of yachts: speel-jachten (or: pleasure yachts) for sport and oorlog-jachten (or: war yachts) for naval duties. Wealthy individuals began using their yachts for pleasure trips, and large "jacht" fleets were found along the Dutch coast. These early yachts varied in size and had a fore/aft gaff rig with a flat bottom and lee boards to allow operations in shallow waters.

This historical connection to the sea and maritime activities laid a solid foundation for the Dutch to excel in yacht construction.

Dutch Superyacht Building: Longer, Bigger and Ever More Exclusive

by Mariska Buitendijk | Oct 3, 2019 | News | 0 comments

dutch superyacht owner

They are not the most productive in numbers of yachts, but in a world where the rich are getting richer, what matters is the ability to distinguish yourself from others. With a yacht from a Dutch yard you can. An overview of the Dutch yacht building landscape.

It will cost you, but as an owner of a Dutch superyacht you possess something exclusive. And in that field of competition, the Dutch builders of superyachts definitely deliver. The last few years, the Dutch superyacht industry saw some significant investments in more and larger production sites and refit facilities.

One of the absolute highlights of this year for the superyacht industry was of course the opening by Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the new yard of Royal Van Lent in the Port of Amsterdam on 16 May. Royal Van Lent from Kaag Island has been a member of the Feadship Group since 1949. The other partners are Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw from Aalsmeer and De Voogt Naval Architects from Haarlem. Feadship originally stood for “First Export Association of Dutch Shipbuilders” and was founded to conquer the American market that was booming at the end of the forties.

Van Lent can now build yachts of up to 160 metres

The new yard at the Amsterdam Basisweg is 170 metres long. This enables Van Lent to build yachts of up to 160 metres or receive them for refits. At Kaag Island, the construction of ever bigger yachts becomes more and more difficult as the connection with the sea is through a lengthy (Kaag Island-Maasmond measures ninety kilometres), winding and narrow route of waterways. The largest yacht built at Kaag Island was the 102-metre Symphony.

The Biggest Yachts

Nowadays, Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw builds its biggest yachts at a yard in Frisian Makkum, where the superyacht Anna (110 metres) was constructed last year. A new yard capable of building and receiving ships up to 160 metres long is a huge step in capacity and brings Feadship in the highest class of yards that build the biggest superyachts. These include for example Lürssen (Bremen), Blohm + Voss (Hamburg) and Nobiskrug (Rendsburg), that deliver yachts of up to 180 metres.

The new Amsterdam yard offers work to in between 200 and 400 people. In part, these will come from the other existing Feadship-yards, but Van Lent plans to find at least some 150 new employees. In an interview with “Het Financieele Dagblad”, Van Lent CEO Jan-Bart Verkuyl emphasises the economic impact on the region as co-makers of the yard will have to hire more staff as well. New staff that Van Lent is looking for are for example engineers, furniture makers, metalworkers, welders, painters and interior decorators. The Feadship Group offers work to around 2500 people.

Van Lent plans to find at least some 150 new employees

Second Amsterdam Yard

Another highlight for the Dutch superyacht industry this year when talking about facilities, was the signing of a contract on 14 May between the Port of Amsterdam and another renowned Dutch yacht builder: Royal Huisman from Vollenhove. With the contract, the Port of Amsterdam leases the former yard of Holland Jachtbouw in Zaandam to Royal Huisman for twenty years. Huisman is the Dutch specialist yacht builder in custom built sailing and motor yachts. The company’s biggest yacht until now had a length of ninety metres. One of the yachts built by Royal Huisman for example, is the world’s longest aluminum sailing yacht of 81 metres for an Asian client.

The establishment of Royal Huisman fits perfectly in the aspiration of the Port of Amsterdam to become an international hub for newbuilding, refitting and servicing of superyachts. And just like Royal Van Lent on Kaag Island, Royal Huisman in Vollenhove encountered more and more problems with access to deep water including having to pass four bridges. Sailing yachts in particular often have deep keels and as a result, Royal Huisman’s bigger yacht projects often had to be finalised at other locations that had to be rented.

Perfect Connections

With the new facility in Zaandam, which borders the Port of Amsterdam, Royal Huisman now has all the necessary access to deep water and a direct connection to the North Sea. With their yards in Amsterdam, the Dutch superyacht builders and all their co-makers and suppliers offer a perfect connection for their clients via the airport of Amsterdam-Schiphol and with Amsterdam and its surroundings an interesting place to pass some time.

Oceanco has plans for building yachts of 140 metres long

Royal Huisman expects to grow its workforce in Zaandam/Amsterdam to between fifty and 75 people, including those from partners and suppliers. Royal Huisman has a filled order book until 2022. It is currently working on three newbuild projects and nine refits.

The third major expansion of facilities of the Dutch superyacht industry is of course the acquisition by Oceanco of the former yard of Heerema Fabrication Group in Zwijndrecht. This facility with two big construction halls and quays at deep water, was closed at the end of last year by the Heerema Group due to lack of work. The company has its headquarters in Alblasserdam and wants to use the new location for the construction of hulls and maintaining and refitting of existing yachts.

HFG Zwijndrecht

Former Heerema facilities in Zwijndrecht (picture by Heerema Fabrication Group).

With the takeover of this facility, Oceanco also anticipates on a growing demand for bigger yachts. With a length of 110 metres, Oceanco has already built the biggest yacht in the Netherlands and is currently building a yacht of 125 metres long. Moreover, according to insiders, it has plans for building yachts of 140 metres long. So just like Feadship, Oceanco is also applying for a ranking in the class of the real megasuperyachts that has so far been dominated by the Germans.

A strong reputation can help you get back up again

Relaunch Moonen

Other news facts that are worth mentioning is the investment Heesen Yachts from Oss did in expanding its interiors production facility in Winterswijk, about which you can read more in the special article about Heesen in our September issue . At the same time, Moonen Yachts from ‘s-Hertogenbosch has proved that a strong reputation can help you get back up again, even when encountering financial difficulties when your original owners pull out.

On 11 July, Moonen was declared bankrupt, but just a month later on 17 August, Moonen could report that it has new Australian owners with whom the yard can be relaunched. Moonen specialises in the market of thirty- to fifty-metre yachts. And although it did not report anything special, Damen’s superyacht branch – Amels in Vlissingen – is steadily expanding its facilities. At this moment, Amels has no less than sixteen projects on order.

A Golden Year

The quick relaunch of Moonen is just more proof that the Dutch superyacht industry is at this moment a very healthy business. At the beginning of May, the trade organisation of the Dutch superyacht industry, Hiswa Holland Yachting Group, reported that 2019 will become a Golden Year for superyacht builders. Right now, the Dutch yards have no less than sixty yachts under construction. Of those sixty are thirteen longer than eighty metres. And 2019 is far from finished, so there could still be some nice orders to come.

Amels has no less than sixteen projects on order

At the end of last year, the Dutch superyacht builders had 4.1 billion euros on order. According to Hiswa, the Dutch superyacht builders now have a market share of 32 per cent in the segment of yachts over thirty metres. The average value of a Dutch superyacht is around 86 million euros. That is thirty million more than a year earlier. The Dutch superyacht industry takes advantage of a very strong reputation in delivering its yachts on time as well as guaranteeing a high quality.

National and International Rankings

For a long time, the top five of the Dutch superyacht industry has consisted of Feadship, Heesen, Amels-Damen, Oceanco and Royal Huisman. According to SuperYacht Times, a Dutch intelligence company in this industry, there are about 600 Dutch-built superyachts of more than thirty metres in operation today. In the segment of over sixty metres, the Dutch yards are the biggest.

The Italians (Azimutti-Benetti, Feretti Group, Sanlorenzo, Overmarine, Palumbo, Baglietto, The Italian Sea Group, Cantiere delle Marche), British (Princess yachts and Sunseeker) and Americans (Alexander Marine and Viking Yachts) produce more yachts, but these are on average smaller. In the top twenty ranking of superyacht builders for 2019 compiled by Boat International, Feadship has position nummer five, just before Amels-Damen on seventh place, followed by Heesen coming in tenth.

When looking at the data gathered by SuperYacht Times, if one counts the yachts that have been built in the last twenty years, with eighty yachts, Feadship is the Dutch number one, followed by Heesen Yachts with 77 yachts, Amels with 49 yachts, Oceanco with 26 and Royal Huisman with 22. In length, the ranking is the same. Only in total volume measured in gross tonnage Feadship is by far the biggest, followed by Oceanco that builds only big ships, Amels-Damen takes the third position and Heesen Yachts the fourth. Royal Huisman’s sailing yachts are mostly smaller and lighter. Yet, for all the superyacht builders it is important to note that their latest orders are for bigger and longer yachts.

Palm Beach International Boat Show

For superyacht shoppers, the Palm Beach International Boat Show, kicking off its four-day run this week, is set to break records with more than 60 yachts over 100 feet long on display. Last year was also a banner year for superyachts at the show.

Headliners will include the likes of the 295-foot Corsair Nero ,  the 278-foot Victorious by AKYacht, the 230-foot Turquoise-built Talisman C , and 213-foot Benetti Triumph among brokerage yachts, and in new yachts, the 113-foot Ocean Alexander Puro 35 is making its world debut.

There are so many gleaming white vessels over 100 feet, in fact, that the fleet will be split between the Palm Harbor Marina at the main show site on the downtown West Palm Beach waterfront and the Safe Harbor Rybovich Marina two miles north.

Now in its 42nd year, PBIBS will also showcase hundreds of models of dayboats, cruisers, and fishing boats, as well as marine accessories. Running from this Thursday through Sunday, the show coincides with the Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary art show, a fortuitous opportunity for yacht owners wanting to add new art to their collections.

Here are 10 must-see boats at this year’s show.

Corsair Yachts ‘Nero’

dutch superyacht owner

The undisputed star of this year’s Palm Beach show? That would be the 295-foot, classically styled superyacht Nero , built in 2007 and inspired by American financier J.P. Morgan’s legendary 1930s steamer Corsair IV . Nero ‘s attendance at PBIBS marks its return to the charter market after an extensive refit in 2021. Now better than new, the boat is being managed by Burgess. With weekly charter rates from $497,000, the vessel offers five-star accommodations for 12 guests in six cabins, with pampering from a crew of 20. Part of the refit included a full interior refresh by Italian interior designer Laura Pomponi, plus a major focus on wellness. That meant the construction of a new, state-of-the-art gym and spa, the assistance of a certified onboard trainer, a masseuse and beautician. After PBIBS, Nero will spend the winter in the Caribbean before returning to the Med for the summer season.

Ocean Alexander Puro 35P

dutch superyacht owner

Ocean Alexander is debuting the first of its new Puro superyacht series at PBIBS. The 113-foot Puro 35P comes from the drawing board of Italian designer Giorgio M. Cassetta and is a step back from the polarizing lines of OA’s recent Revolution and Explorer series with their bold, vertical bow designs. Aimed at long-distance cruising, the 35P can carry over 5,000 gallons of fuel and is powered by twin 2,000 hp MAN V12s for a 24-knot top speed. Twin 55kW Kohler generators can also keep the yacht powered at anchor for long periods. Other standout features include extensive glazing in the chiseled fiberglass hull, a forward deck plunge pool, and spacious accommodations for 10 guests.

Think of it as the “starter” Sirena. Aimed at a younger demographic, the Turkish builder’s brand-new Sirena 48 is making its U.S. debut at PBIBS after a global reveal at last fall’s Cannes boat show. Such is its appeal that 27 hulls have already been sold, with 13 of the orders coming from North America. Looking like a scaled-down version of Sirena’s popular 58, its distinctive, trawler-style lines are from Argentinian designer Germán Frers. With more interior space than a typical 48-footer, the yacht offers three staterooms—plus a crew cabin—a spacious, light-filled salon, a large cockpit, an oversized flybridge, and a vast forward social area. Take your pick from twin 550 hp Cummins QSB, or 670 hp Volvo D11 turbo diesels. Or the builder is also offering hybrid power with twin 285 hp electric motors charged up by variable-speed generators that are good for a 30-mile battery-only range.

Feadship ‘Olympus’

dutch superyacht owner

Picture purchasing a classic 180-foot Feadship superyacht, and then getting a $10 million bill for a major refit. That was the case with Olympus , built by the Dutch masters at Feadship in 1996 to a design by Britain’s Andrew Winch and the celebrated naval architect Frits De Voogt. Sold in 2022, the new owner sent it to the Monaco Marine refit center in La Ciotat, France for a major makeover. It included overhauling the 2,600 hp Caterpillar engines and generators, repairs to the structure, substantial upgrades to the guest areas and crew quarters, and new paint throughout. With the work completed just last year, the vessel is said to be in mint condition. Offered jointly by brokers Fraser and Edmiston, Olympus has an asking price of $28.5 million. With accommodations for 16 guests in eight cabins, the boat’s highlights include two primary suites, tropical-spec air conditioning, and Palm Beach-chic decor.

Benetti ‘Triumph’

dutch superyacht owner

Italian yachting powerhouse Benetti is showing off its superyacht-building skills with the 213-foot Triumph . Delivered in 2021, this Giorgio M. Cassetta-designed steel-and-aluminum world girder features six decks, a 1,400-square-foot primary suite with outdoor terrace and adjoining lounge, a 750-square-foot beach club, and a touch-and-go helipad. What sets Triumph apart, however, is its lavish interior furnishings put together by the owner along with Benetti Interior Style and Monaco-based Green & Mingarelli Design. It includes pieces by French glassmaker Lalique, marble from Marfil, Statuario and Armani, furs, silk and wool carpets, plus a collection of cool black-and-white wildlife photographs by British fine art photographer David Yarrow. The pièce de résistance? That would be the owner’s Triumph Bonneville motorcycle displayed in the salon.

Fjord 39 XP/XL

dutch superyacht owner

Germany’s Fjord Yachts, part of the Hanse Group, has a new 39-foot day boat that it’s unveiling at the Palm Beach show. The 39 XP and XL keep all the bold design cues of the bigger Fjord 41 XP and XL, like a big, open cockpit, walkaround center console, vertical bow, mile-high windshield and stretched hardtop. As for the differences between the XP and XL, it’s all about power. The XL comes with a choice of twin 320hp Volvo D4 diesels, or bigger 440 hp D6 versions, both with Volvo stern drives. Likely more appealing to U.S. buyers will be the XP powered by twin 400 hp Mercury Verado V10 outboards giving a 50-knot top speed. Pricing starts at around $500,000.

Turquoise ‘Talisman C’

dutch superyacht owner

Chandeliers don’t come more dramatic than this. Cascading down the central spiral staircase of the Turkish-built, 231-foot superyacht Talisman C , this jaw-dropping piece of art comprises an array of multi-colored glass balls threaded on stainless-steel rods and illuminated by hanging fiber-optic strands. It’s the creation of Prague-based Crystal Caviar and is one of a number of glass installations on this sleek, low-profile superyacht. Built in 2011 by the Proteksan Turquoise shipyard, Talisman C was designed inside and out by London-based studio H2 Yacht Design, with naval architecture by Italy’s Hydro Tec. With cabins for 12 guests, one of its highlights is a huge primary suite, which boasts more crystal chandeliers and a private library. Twin 2,447 hp Caterpillar diesels give a top speed of 18 knots and a transatlantic range of 7,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. It’s listed with Burgess for $59.9 million.

Sanlorenzo 44 ‘Kamakasa’

dutch superyacht owner

Delivered in 2020 and sold to a new buyer just last August, the 146-foot Sanlorenzo 44 Alloy Kamakasa will be for sale at PBIBS. The asking price, through the Italian Yacht Group, is $23.75 million. Lack of use might also be the issue here; the yacht’s twin 2,600 hp MTU V16 diesels have a mere 289 hours on the clock. Built in aluminum to a design by Rome-based Zuccon International Project, Kamakasa was the second hull in the Sanlorenzo 44 Alloy series. One of the top features is a primary suite that spans three levels and almost 1,600 square feet; it also comes with a private Jacuzzi, separate bathrooms, a walk-in closet, and a private study. The yacht’s lightweight construction and MTU power combine to deliver an impressive 20-knot top speed.

Bahama 41 GT2

dutch superyacht owner

As ultimate, reel-’em-in, fishing center consoles go, the Bahama 41 from West Palm Beach-based Bahama Boat Works is as hard-core as they come. But when owners kept asking for a little more comfort for the family, the builder responded. The result is the brand-new flagship 41 GT debuting at PBIBS. While the proven, wave-slicing hull stays the same, the cockpit layout is new. In place of the single bench seat, there are now three-across bucket seats with a second row behind. The wider console now has space for a pair of 22-inch Garmin screens, while the new extended hardtop features sun shades and even a rain shower. Outboard choices stay the same with either twin Mercury V12 600s, or four 400 hp Mercury V10s, good for a 65-knot-plus top speed. Pricing is from around $920,000.

Heesen ‘Book Ends’

dutch superyacht owner

Launched in 2022, this 164-foot Heesen is part of the Book Ends collection, owned by an American couple who have had more than 18 yachts with the same name. The exterior design of this Heesen was by Omega Architects, while Dutch studio Van Oossanen did the naval architecture. The yacht is part of Heesen’s fast cruising series, which is more efficient than other vessels its size, and can reach 23 knots at full speed with its MTU 16V 4000 M65L engines. The yacht is listed through Ocean Independence for 42 million Euro, or about $45.7 million.

Alia Yachts launches all-aluminium 45m superyacht Project SAN

Related articles.

Turkish shipyard Alia Yachts has launched Project SAN, a 45-metre custom superyacht built entirely in aluminium. Design comes courtesy of Dutch studio Sinot with naval architecture from Lateral Naval Architects .

The layout of Project SAN places increased focus on al fresco living, with a "fully open main deck all the way from the stern to the bow, without any major visual obstacles," according to Paul Costerus, partner and lead designer at Sinot.

"The design of SAN began after long and in-depth conversations with her future owner on the desired layouts, functionality and style," continued Costerus.

Her exterior is characterised by a low, predatory superstructure with a raised pilothouse and sharp, clean lines. Initial images also show off her plumb bow and uncluttered deck space.

"The exterior deck furniture is multi-functional," said Costerus. "Tables convert from dining to an evening cocktail setup and sunbathing areas convert easily into intimate seating. The aft deck sunbathing area can be expanded by folding the bulwarks down, providing even more of an outdoor living space experience."

While imagery is unreleased, interiors are minimalist and detail-orientated, with full-height windows ensuring the yacht’s surroundings remain a key focal point.

Accommodation is found on the lower deck, with a four-cabin layout that includes a generous owner’s cabin.

Alia Yachts President Gökhan Çelik said: "Based on an innovative and attractive design philosophy, Project SAN will further strengthen our pursuit to be recognized as one of the top custom yacht builders in the world by delivering such superior projects recognised worldwide."

This follows the shipyard's recent partnership with Burgess on a custom 45-metre superyacht. The project will bring together H2 Yacht Design , Vickers Studio and Van Oossanen , with delivery scheduled for 2026.

The superyacht world is speculating that Mark Zuckerberg just bought this 118-meter boat

  • The 118-meter superyacht Launchpad made her maiden voyage last week.
  • The yacht world is speculating that her owner is Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
  • Here's what we know about the luxury vessel.

Insider Today

In the world of superyachts , privacy is the most valuable asset. It can be next to impossible to discern the details of a superyacht transaction — and that's particularly true if the vessel in question is worth nine figures.

Yet some in the boat blogging world are speculating that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is the new owner of Launchpad, a megayacht currently moored in Fort Lauderdale, Florida after she made her maiden voyage from Gibraltar to St Maarten last week. Launchpad clocks in at 118 meters long, about nine meters shorter than Jeff Bezos' superyacht Koru .

The transaction could not be confirmed, with yacht world insiders declining to share what they know and representatives for Zuckerberg not responding to a request for comment from Business Insider. In the past, reports about Zuckerberg owning superyacht Ulysses have proven false.

Related stories

"It is Feadship's standard policy to never divulge any information about our yachts with reference to ownership, costs, or delivery, etc," Feadship, the ship's builder, wrote to BI. "Whether it is an 18-meter Feadship from the 1960s or a 118-meter Feadship from the 21st century, we do not share private information."

But Zuckerberg's name has been connected to Launchpad for a few months now, beginning in December when reports swirled that he visited Feadship's shipyard in the Netherlands.

Then, earlier in March, yachting bloggers like eSysman SuperYachts and Autoevolution started speculating that he officially snagged the boat, originally built for a sanctioned Russian businessman, at a $300 million price tag. (While that's a seemingly huge amount, it's still less than 0.2% of Zuckerberg's $177 billion net worth.)

Another clue that might point to US ownership is that the yacht bears the flag of the Marshall Islands, a US territory and commonplace for American buyers to register their ships, according to public marine tracking.

If Zuckerberg were to have bought Launchpad, he would join a cohort of superyacht-owning tech billionaires . Along with Bezos, the likes of Oracle cofounder Larry Ellison and Google cofounders Sergey Brin and Larry Page have purchased impressive boats with even more impressive amenities.

SuperYacht Times , an industry publication and intelligence platform, has some of the best images of the yacht. Photos show a swimming pool on her main deck and a large helipad.

While less is known of the interior, a vessel of her size can likely sleep dozens of guests and crew and may have amenities like an expansive gym where Zuckerberg could practice his jiu-jitsu or a spa with a massage area. We suspect there's also space for plenty of toys — which could include his viral hydrofoil foil .

The 5th edition of the International exhibition of yachts and boats –  Moscow Boat Show , held from March 20 to 25, 2012 will be hosted by the first pavilion of Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre. This popular show is dedicated not only to the specialists of the market segment and professional sportsmen but also to those who consider sailing sport to be their hobby and well cherished dream.

Moscow Boat Show

The project is the result of joint efforts of the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre and the National Marine Industry Association. The event is supported by Aston Martin Moscow, Burevestnik Group logistics department and the Yachting specialized magazine. Moscow Boat Show is the largest project in Russia presenting all the best in the world of yachting.

The exhibition annually shows high level of attendance and has already proved as significant and noteworthy event in the world of yachts and boats. Every year new exhibitors join the list of participants, genuine “sharks” of yachting business, the quantity of visitors considerably increases and the exposition becomes more sated and diverse.

The best companies professionally involved into yachting and small navigation business – 180 exhibitors from 17 regions of the Russian Federation and 15 countries traditionally presented the best and the newest in the world of yachting at 2011 edition: from design and facilitation of vessels and up to cruising and training courses for beginning skippers. In 2011 the overall exhibit space comprised 18 000 sq m. More than 25 000 visitors came to the show.

This year the exposition space will increase up to 30 000 sq m and will be accommodated in 4 exhibition halls. The scale of the project confirms confident positions of its positive development. The organizers will try to arrange a genuine fiesta of water on land!

Quite a number of foreign exhibitors will participate in the show. Foreign companies show increasing interest to yachting business in Russia.

Moscow Boat Show provides the perfect platform from which to preview new products, evaluate market trends, and establish long-lasting and commercially profitable partnerships. Despite the dynamic changes taking place in Russia and the rapid growth of the yachting sector, the show continues to complement and reflect the industry’s demand and is a promotional opportunity not to be missed!

As its popularity and success rate has grown over the last years Moscow Boat Show 2012 has developed to incorporate more than just an exhibition. These special events serve to attract leading exhibitors and visitors and allow all participants the chance to broaden their knowledge and of course their sales potential.

Moscow Boat Show helps representatives of yachting business to get acquainted with their Russian colleagues and gradually improves national yachting market to a new level. It is obvious that for 4 years of its running the project has turned to a status event of the international exhibitions calendar. The organizers of the exhibition aim to bring together on the same platform all key national and worldwide players and to offer an excellent platform to encourage networking among specialists and visitors in order to accelerate the development in this field as well as implementing new technologies, the newest equipment, materials and components.
