When first introduced in 1996 the Azimut Sea Jet 70 set new standards in this size category. It was a very well received yacht and its not hard to see why. The layout features 4 guest cabins each with its own en-suite head and shower. Plus the layout provides for a full beam aft private master! Up forward in bow area is an access to the separate crew quarters that is used only for storage now. Many appreciate the exquisite wall to wall high gloss cherry wood and the abundant marble flooring.

There are stairs that go up either side from the swim platform and lead to the roomy covered deck located here is a long settee facing forward with a 6' Teak dining table and overhead lighting. You enter the salon thru double stainless steel framed sliding doors. There are two large curved settees facing one another, one port, one starboard positioned to take full advantage of the large salon windows. There is a salon ice maker just inside to port for parties. Forward and to starboard is the galley with full compliment of apartment sized appliances. Located port of the galley is open staircase leads to the bridge. Forward of this staircase and on the port is a large dinette with custom dinette table large enough for 6-8 to dine. Moving a little forward and to starboard there is a complete pocket lower helm with instrumentation.

Staterooms:

The VIP quarters are accessed from stairs leading to the forward area. The VIP with island queen berth is the most forward guest cabin with plenty of storage. It features a personal settee to starboard and private head with marble vanity and separate stall shower and Vacu-flush toilet.

Aft of the VIP and located on the port side there is another guest stateroom with two twin berths and it also has its own guest head with Vacu-flush toilet, vanity and stall shower.

Directly across the companionway we find the starboard guest cabin with en-suite head and shower with another Vacu-flush and corner vanity. The starboard guest cabin features an upper and lower berth and private head with shower stall. It also doubles as a laundry room as the washer and dryer are located here.

The master benefits from having it's own private entrance and being full beam. It is accessed from the main salon located aft to starboard. This is truly a master stateroom and has a king size berth on center with mirrored vanity to port and a private double settee to starboard. The master benefits from having a curved bulkhead in which a curved TV is mounted. The master head has a huge marble vanity with dual double sinks, Vacu-flush head and stall upgraded Teak shower.

There are crew quarters forward, accessed from the foredeck thru a large hatch. The crew quarters has been taken out and needs to be refinished.

The galley is located starboard, forward of the main salon. There is an outside door that leads direct to the galley for easier provisioning. This Azimut has a much needed custom pantry just forward of the galley. The counters are marble, as is the deck, and there are double polished stainless steel sinks at the apex in the aft. Above the cooktop is a GE stainless steel microwave oven. Left of the range and cooktop is a 7' Euro style refer from Liebherr with the top half refer and lower half, freezer drawers. Galley has the ability with a switch to be completely cordoned from the salon with a high low separation wall.

The open-top flybridge on this model extends all the way to the stern for a sense of unrivalled spaciousness, and its teak-lined deck hosts room at the rear for a sunlounge or tender storage with a crane. Positioned centrally is a U-shaped leather sofa surrounding a dining table, directly across from an L-shaped wet-bar console with an icemaker and an electric grill. Up front there is the upper helm station with its own sofa-style piloting seat, along with a cocoon-style sunpad where up to six guests can idle away for hours in direct sunshine. One level down and the generous outdoor space continues, with a sunpad for up to four situated out on the elongated foredeck. At the rear there is a sheltered aft-deck with a breakfast table and a transom sofa, as well as side steps down to a teak-lined hydraulic swimming platform. Also located at the rear of the vessel is a transom door for access to a private crew quarters that can host up to three members of staff.

The internal cockpit is accessed via sliding glass doors from the aft deck, and is a symphony of refined Italian aesthetics in glazed coconut wood, pickled-oak, plush carpeting, brown leather and piped upholstery. A rear salon boasts a huge U-shaped sofa with room for up to 9 guests, as well as curved cabinetry to port. A few steps forward leads you to a dinette with a U-shaped dining sofa and a semi-enclosed walk-in galley room with marble worktops, Miele appliances, a stainless steel double sink, a four-zone ceramic range and a combination oven. At the front of the cockpit there are steps down to the lower deck and a port-side helm station fitted with Raymarine electronics, a trim-tab joystick, thruster controls and power steering.

Four en suite staterooms occupy the lower-deck level of the Azimut 70, and include a pair of twins, a master stateroom to the bow with a hanging closet, and a show-piece owner’s stateroom amidship. This full-beam room features four-pane mullioned windows on either side, a walk-in dressing room, a pair of armchairs, a work-desk or vanity station, a king-sized island bed and a large marble-clad bathroom with a timber-lined walk-in shower cubicle.

One could be forgiven for thinking that the Azimut 70 is a mere floating palace, but this vessel hides some serious power in the engine room. A pair of MAN V12 1400MHP engines provide top speeds of around 33 knots, with consistent cruising speeds of 27 knots. A V-shaped planing hull provides excellent balance out at sea, while a fuel tank holding 4800 liters of diesel provides plenty of spare capacity for those longer, island-hopping trips.

“ Things to know ”

VALID ID of the Charterer under which the Charter Reservation is made is required. 

Food or beverage items that you’d like (Alcohol is allowed).

Vessels are usually equipped with Towels, but please double check with us, as some require vessels require the Passengers to bring their own, please refer to our team for confirmation.

No self-tanning lotion or bronzer is allowed onboard or on your person as it stains yacht upholstery.

Avoid wearing denim or jean articles of clothing as the dyes can seep into the yachts upholstery when wet.

No red wine or other staining beverages.

No BBQ equipment, hookah(Shisha), or other items that utilize open flames, gas, propane, coals, etc.

No glitter or confetti.

Captains are there to make sure you are happy and safe, they will provide you with some of the most popular location options to go anchor in South Miami, such as Star Island, Monument Island, Marine Stadium etc.

They can also give you a tour of the Famous Mansions by Star island / Palm Island or go cruising along the skyline and eventually anchoring at one of the top spots for Fun, Sun, and Swimming. 

Keep in mind the charter prices presented are for Idle speed cruising in the designated local areas of the vessel selected. 

Please arrive 15min early for a smooth boarding transition.

Some vessels require a security deposit against Damages incurred to the vessel by the charterer.

(Security deposit is returned at the end of the charterer) please refer to our team for confirmation.

All out captains are USCG Certified Captain.

When first introduced in 1996 the Azimut Sea Jet 70 set new standards in this size category.  It was a very well received yacht and its not hard to see why.  The layout features 4 guest cabins each with its own en-suite head and shower.  Plus the layout provides for a full beam aft private master!  Up forward in bow area is an access to the separate crew quarters that is used only for storage now.  Many appreciate the exquisite wall to wall high gloss cherry wood and the abundant marble flooring.

The Sea Jet was designed to carry a large Jet Ski or small yacht tender in a stern accessed “garage” in the center of the transom.  It features a large hinged door that opens the garage area up for storage of either item.

This is one of the more popular 4 stateroom + crew designs with en-suite heads and showers layouts on market today. There’s a VIP, and two twin bed guest staterooms forward, all with private heads with showers. The master, has a separate stairway down from the salon, aft. The cal-deck, salon, galley and dinette are all on one level, the main deck.

This is a bare boat charter.

Important information.

• Per USCG regulations, maximum 12 passengers. NO exceptions!
• 100% drug free/smoke free boat; however some boats allow cigarette smoking on the aft deck.
• All luxury yacht charters come with a captain and Crew.
• For day charters fuel is included for idle/trolling speed around local areas. For high speed cruising fuel is charged extra.
• For multi-day charters, a standard 30% APA is collected. The 30% APA covers expenses during your charter including fuel, docking fees and food and beverage. If there is any money left over in the APA after your charter, you can choose to apply these funds towards a crew gratuity or Jerico Yacht Charters can return the funds back to you.
• We love animals and would feel terrible if they get seasick, so as a general rule no pets allowed.
• All vessels come with life jackets, emergency and first aide kits. If you have known allergies or medical requirements, please bring spare medication in the event of an emergency.
• Photo ID and credit card required at pickup. If you are foreign you must travel with your passport.
• Pick up time is up to you, your day begins at the time stated in the signed Charter Agreement.
• You must be 21 years or older to book.
