At 62 feet, the volume even in a catamaran’s narrow hulls begins to get significant, and Lagoon cuts it up a number of ways in the Lagoon 620 to offer arrangements with as many as five double cabins or as few as three. All of them provide island beds and their own ensuite heads with stall showers. In one layout, the galley is in the aft end of the port hull, with access both to the saloon and to the deck through its own companionway.

Under the rigid aft-deck awning, which is an extension of the saloon roof, a large dining area is serviced by a wet bar. The cockpit, if that refers to the control station, is moved up to a fly bridge, creating another socializing zone.

Port and starboard helms give the skipper options when docking and for viewing the sails and the surrounding waters.

YOUR CAPTAIN After a couple of years, Igor replaced the corporate environment with the operations manager position in a hospitality company. After years of amateur sailing and boating in a private arrangement, Igor transferred his career in the very same direction. He sailed and did boat transfers as a boat captain and as a part of the crew over The Mediterranean and the Adriatic Sea. The ability to remain calm under pressure and quick decision making was a great asset when he started his boat skipper/captain career. Igor is experienced and skilful captain that will make your charter unforgettable YOUR CHEF Vedrana was born in Zagreb and holds a strong background in customer service and hospitality. She started as a bar coordinator and later on as sommelier assistant, which ultimately led her to a one-year trip to Canada where she worked as an assistant buyer for a canadian boutique. Finally, she has more than 4 years of experience as a Yacht stewardess and yacht Cook on luxury crewed catamarans. She is in charge of all guests and crew meals and runs a complete management of the galley. Ask Vedrana about the wines and food pairing, she'd be more than happy to share her knowledge with you. Likewise, she can organize a wine tasting on your catamaran. Maja quietly and efficiently poured coffee in the mornings and wine the rest of the day, and kept the Opal clean and tidy. She makes a remarkable cappucino! Boris knew exactly how to find the best weather and he moored the Opal in beautiful, quiet coves where we swam and napped and ate and drank to our hearts' content. Gaga planned, prepared and served the most amazing meals and really outdid himself on our final night when he baked a chocolate birthday cake with ganache filling and pistachio nut toppings. And at every single step, we were coddled and cared for by the amazing, talented crew members Boris, Maja and Dragan. <br /> The Opal is a beautiful boat; the photos don't do it justice. It's pristine and spacious.<br /> Boris skillfully skippered the Opal into quiet, scenic coves for swimming and relaxing. Maja quietly and efficiently poured coffee in the mornings and wine the rest of the day, and kept the Opal clean and tidy. She makes a remarkable cappucino! Dragan is a chef of the first order, who served delicious, nutritious meals of meats, fish, vegetables, and even baked a birthday cake on our last evening.<br /> What a spectacular way to visit Croatia. Boris knew exactly how to find the best weather and he moored the Opal in beautiful, quiet coves where we swam and napped and ate and drank to our hearts' content. Gaga planned, prepared and served the most amazing meals and really outdid himself on our final night when he baked a chocolate birthday cake with ganache filling and pistachio nut toppings. My husband and I joined with four other couples from the U.S. and Canada for a what turned out to be a wonderful mixture of laziness, leisure, fine dining, a bit of hiking and shopping, lots of fun playing in the water with SUPs and kayaks, near perfect weather and great fun with great friends. And at every single step, we were coddled and cared for by the amazing, talented crew members Boris, Maja and Dragan. <br /> The Opal is a beautiful boat; the photos don't do it justice. It's pristine and spacious.<br /> Boris skillfully skippered the Opal into quiet, scenic coves for swimming and relaxing. Maja quietly and efficiently poured coffee in the mornings and wine the rest of the day, and kept the Opal clean and tidy. She makes a remarkable cappucino! Dragan is a chef of the first order, who served delicious, nutritious meals of meats, fish, vegetables, and even baked a birthday cake on our last evening.<br /> What a spectacular way to visit Croatia. Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
