There isn’t a better way to visit Croatia and experience each of the islands than traveling on Dalmatino. The boat was stunning. The boat crew had the best service I have ever experienced. This trip will be very hard to top. We were directed to the best experiences on each island, food was absolutely delicious and beautiful at the same time. I would highly recommend this yacht and staff to anyone who has the opportunity to travel to Croatia!

I would give a six star as a vacation spot and a 100% satisfying rate. The staff was so helpful and so so nice. Food was over the top in presentation, variety and was delicious. The Captain chose just a perfect route through the islands, the right amount of village time as play time. I would do this trip every year on Dalmatino!

Trip of a lifetime! The boat is gorgeous, the food was amazing, the scenery & water were incredible and the staff-crew….what can I say?! You were friendly, fun, and took the many challenges of our group in stride (covid+,stomach viruses, etc.!) with a smile and a willingness to do what we needed to have an amzing week. (I mean…how many groups requested 5 full dinnera and 5 bowls of plain white rice? 😛 ) It was such a special week for us to spend with our adult children & our friends and it was made even better by the wonderful & attentive service we recived at every turn. From the moment I stepped on this boat I was greated with smiles & genuine care. I have never had an experience such as this where I was treated like I was special. Each and every one of you made this week memorable and I will never forget it. Matea made sure our thunderstorm of a room was always inviting and shared her last hairtie with me so I could enjoy the water. Keke made sure I always had milk with dessert before even asking and kept us all in a good mood. To the chef who gave us a personal tour of the bars so we could experience the true culture. Rocco despite us leasing hi min the beginning made sure to act professional as always. Stipe on our day to the market gave us the submarine tunnel. Last but not leats, the Captain who ensure no matter the weather there was always a plan for fun in place. Overall, I wish I couls stay with you forever and I have never had such a wonderful time. I have no words to explain the marvelous adventure we have sailed with Captain Tom. It has been the upmost pleasure to embark in this journey around the Adriatic Sea with such a wonderful crew. Ivana is super attentive and dedicated to fulfilling the needs of all my fellow travelers who have stepped aboard Captain Tom’s deck. The sights seen could never be converged in the slightest. The sea was magical. The food was amazing. Everyday was a delight to my mouth. We cannot wait to come back next year. Thank you to the entire crew.

Altair – 08.2022

Carefree and a wonderful cruise down the Adriatic Mastercharter was the best Croatian travel agency I have dealt with in the last ten years. Ivana, Mirna and Mate are devout professionals who will tender to your every need. Ask a question and you will get an answer momentarily, if one of them is busy one of the others will respond. No detail is overlooked and everything is done to your satisfaction. They stay true to their motto which says “Everything is possible for one who believes”.

I wanted to charter a gulet for a family cruise and for my particular needs they suggested the Altair which turned out to be the perfect choice. The name Altair is derived from the bright star, aka Alpha Aquilae, which shines as the brightest star in the constellation Aquila the Eagle. It describes this gullet perfectly; it is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The crew is a family run affair; Captain Dare is a capable sailor and a wonderful host. His Dad Duje is a fantastic cook and a Captain in his own right and Dare’s sister Luce (Lucy) is a wonderful hostess and a do everything gal who will attend to your every need. Also there is Lovro, a very capable sailor who makes sure that the boat is securely tied, he will help you with all the heavy lifting, will provide you with the swimming toys once you are in the water and will watch over you while you swim.

The cruise down the Jadran (Adriatic Sea) was absolutely fantastic. We were in and out of secluded coves for swimming in the crystal clear water during the day and visited famous towns like Hvar, Korčula, Polače, Ston and others in the evening. It was a perfect combination of rest, relaxation and sightseeing.

I would like to take this opportnity to thank the crew once more for making me and my family feel like we were a part of their family and for providing us with a carefree, restfull, exciting and wonderfull experience. Special thanks goes out to my new friend Duje Junior (Dare’s son) who made our trip that much more enjoyable, this is from his new friend Brankec.

Corsario – 25 June 2022

We had the Best time in Corsario, aside from the amaizing places and smooth ride, the crew was so warm, dedicated and helpfull. Stand up padlle, water motor rides, snorkeling, biking and awesome more experiences we lived in this boat. Thank to this boat and the crew we could had an inforgivable family time! Romanca – 18.06.-25.06.2022

Global Rating: 5/5 (Excellent)

We travel often and far, and we have been around the world and had amazing experiences. But our vacation on the Romanca, chartered via MasterCharter, was truly unrivaled! Airline travel these days can be beyond hectic, and our vacation seemed to get off to the wrong start when the airline lost our luggage. Ivana (Mastercharter) and Andrea (owner of the Romanca) arranged a speedboat to take a passenger to get medication that had gone missing with the bags and PERSONALLY tracked our luggage down and had it hand-delivered to the boat as we were eating breakfast under sail. Additionally, a member of our party had a bicycle accident, and Marin (Romanca’s captain) was on location in minutes with the town’s doctor and sat with us through the process of going to the hospital and getting a few stitches, then offered to buy the injured person an ice cream, (because everyone knows when you get stitches, you get an ice cream). Despite our two mishaps, all 15 of our party fell madly in love with Croatia, the Adriatic, MasterCharter, and most specifically the Romanca and its crew. The Romanca is by far the prettiest wooden gullet on the Adriatic; you cannot help but share the pride of her crew as she sails into port. You can tie her up next to the largest, newest ship in any marina, and know you are the one privileged enough to call the Romanca home. Valentina and Mario knew everyone by name on the first morning and never forgot our food or drink preferences — my latte was being made before I could sit at the Romanca’s massive table. Victor is a world class chef and a true artist who goes out of his way to please everyone. He woke up in the middle of the night to feed the three of us who waited for the doctor to finish his work on our patient, and we got a beautiful steak with rice and salad, totally unexpected and above and beyond. Ivan, the first mate, went out with several of our younger “sailors” (as per our request) when they wanted to go to a club at midnight. He watched over us and protected us like family, even at the sacrifice of his night’s sleep. And Marin navigated us through it all, recommending phenomonal wineries, restaurants, and excursions on the islands. I’m not prone to write reviews, or be loquacious, but for this trip, I must! These people are so special and amazing; they find a magical way of outshining the scenery. That said, Croatia and her islands are not to be missed, their beauty is unparalleled and the experience is unmatched. Do yourself a favor, spend a week on the Romanca… just don’t book the weeks we want, we will be back!

The magic ship Cataleya introduced us the beautiful people and country of Croatia.  Marin, Hrvoje, Karlos, Jere and Marin the younger opened their hearts to us and showed us their wonderful culture. IT IS HARD IN LIFE TO BE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO EVER BE ABLE TO BE IN A POSITION TO BE ABLE TO VACATION ON A BOAT SUCH AS ANIMA MARIS. HOWEVER, IT IS EVEN MORE DIFFICULT TO HAVE AN EXPERIENCE THAT EXCEEDS ALL OF YOUR EXPECTATIONS.THIS TRIP WAS BEYOND WHAT WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. WE HOPED IT WOULD BE THIS WONDERFUL, BUT TO HAVE EACH DAY BE BETTER THAN THE DAY BEFORE HAS TRULY BEEN A DELIGHT. THE BOAT OF COURSE IS A WORK OF ART,A MIX OF MODERN YET STILL ROMANTIC. THE CABINS ARE SO SPACIOUS AND THE BATHROOMS AS WELL.NOVAK’S COOKING WAS SPECTACULAR AS WELL AS ALEXANDER. ANYTHING WE WANTED DELIVERED WHICH AS WE ALL KNOW IS NOT AN EASY THING TO DO. SONIA KEPT OUR CABINS AND LAUNDRY IMPECCABLE AND THE REST OF THE CREW WAS WITH US ON DECK TIME WE NEEDED ANYTHING AT ALL. THE LOADED THE WATER TOY INTO THE SEA EVERYDAY SO OUR KIDS COULD RIDE THE SEABOB FROM MORNING TILL NIGHT. THEY WATCHED CAREFULLY AS THEY FLIPPED OFF THE TOP DECK IN TO THE WATER. CAPTAIN MARIO ALWAYS FOUND US THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BAYS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, PICKED THE BEST CREW. THEN WE CAME TO VICTORIA WHO ALL DAY, EVERYDAY MADE SURE WE HAD ANY DRINK OR SNACK WE WANTED. LASTLY IVAN, WITHOUT HIM, SETTING THE STANDARDS OF EXCELLENCE AND SERVICE, NOTHING WOULD HAVE COME TOGETHER. THANK YOU EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU FOR MAKING THIS UNFORGETTABLE.

Captain Luka was very professional and helpful, his brother Damir and the chef were excellent too. I think the Steward, Ivor was a bit out of his depth as he was really a deck hand that had stood in for a Stewardess from what we learned, and whilst he tried hard, my only recommendation would be that an experienced stewardess would have added polish to the whole drinking and dining experience.

Advanced Provisioning Allowance:

For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.

How do you book a boat?

To book a vessel please do contact our Customer Care team. If you haven’t decided yet, we will help you choose a boat to your liking. Our experienced Yachting Department will prepare couple of choices based on your wishes and the budget. Once you pick your boat 50% deposit is needed to secure the vessel and the rest is most of the time paid 60 days prior to the arrival.

For how long can I book the boat?

Regular charters are always booked from Saturday to Saturday (7, 14 and more days). However, this is the rule for most sail boats, catamarans, and gulets. Motor yachts can go by day and can be chartered with start day to be any day of the week. There are some exceptions to catamarans so best to contact us for details and options once you have set dates in mind.

What qualifications do I need for chartering a bareboat?

If you would like to charter a boat on your own, without a Via Tours Crew, you must posses a valid certificate of competence and valid VHF license.

Do I have to hire a skipper while chartering a boat?

If you don’t have any sailing experience and if you don’t posses a valid sailing license you are obligated to hire a skipper. Our skippers are all professionals and they know the area very well. However, in most cases this is only the option with sailing boats and catamarans while with all other vessels captain/skipper will be part of your charter and included in the cost.

Other possible crew members and their duties?

Hostess is available 24/7 prepares breakfast and light lunch, in charge of cleaning and preparing rooms

Cook main focus on preparing special requested meals, including dinner, serves and presents the meals

Is the skipper rate included in the price? What costs are associated with the crew?

The skipper service is paid separately from the charter fee in catamarans and sail boats if not mentioned otherwise. The guest have to pay for the Crew service (skipper, hostess, cook) and their board expanses. You do not have to invite the crew for restaurant meal if you don’t like to but in that case you can negotiate with the crew daily allowance for their board expanses.

Tips are never included in the charter rate. Tips usually amount to 5-10% of the charter rate.

Where does the skipper and crew sleep?

The skipper and the crew sleeps in separate skipper/crew cabin the yacht.

What additional costs should we be prepared for?

The charter fee presents the basic cost. Additional costs are Marina fees, fuel consumption and above expanses associated with the crew. Some vessels do include more items such as fuel or half board (mini-cruisers) so always check price inclusion section to make sure you understand inclusions for particular vessel.

Can children be aboard?

Yes, children can be aboard, but you have to supervise them all the time and prepare special security standards for them. We strongly recommend to order a safety net, life vests and harnesses for children (when chartering sail boat or catamaran).

Can we take pets aboard?

Depending on the rules of the charter agency, it may or may not be allowed to take pets on the boat. Please always contact us first and we will check it for you. In case it is allowed, there are special rules associated for their safety which we will mentioned depanding on the vessel chartered.

Is there a Wifi aboard?

Croatia is covered well with wifi service, and most of our charter boats have wifi available on board, but with limited amount of GB. Please make sure to let us know how much GB you would need for the time being on the charter.

What is the security deposit?

The security deposit is the amount with which is paid prior to the boarding. It is secured amount on your credit card and you are liable if any damage, that is the consequence of mishandling of the boat, happens while chartering the boat. The security deposit will be refunded in its full amount unless the existence of damage or a defect on the yacht or the equipment is found during the returning of the yacht. Please note that the amount of security deposit is the maximum amount with which you can be charged for any damages. Everything that exceeds that amount the charter company will cover from the insurance company.

Is there a possibility to buy additional insurance in order to cover all potential damages?

The deposit insurance (Damage Waiver) (additional insurance of the security deposit that practically covers all the damages) in most cases can be offered. Terms and conditions of the deposit insurance depend on the insurance company that insures the boat but generally speaking it usually costs 7-12% of the deposit amount of the boat that you would like to book.

Supplying the boat prior to boarding?

Food supply is a list we send to clients, they just check items from a detailed list and food awaits them on board, so the clients can avoid going to markets, carrying heavy bags and items The list calculates the cost automatically and there is no hidden extra costs for service or delivery.

What is APA and when is it used?

APA (advance provision allowance) is the amount paid up front for the captain and the crew to use towards daily expanses on the vessel. Usually, it is 20-30% of the charter cost (depending on the vessel) and the in that case guests stay on board stress free. The captain takes close record of expanses (marina fees, food, drinks, fuel) and before disembarkation guests and the captain go over the it. In case there is any money left, it is returned to the guests, and in case there is difference to pay the guests pay the difference. This type of service is usually used on catamarans and motor yachts when the crew is involved in the whole package.

Where should I berth, in a marina or in bays?

If you have enough electricity, water and food, you can spend the night in one of the numerous, well secluded bays along the Adriatic coast. If using the services of a skipper, you won’t have any problems finding the securest bays, since the skippers are well acquainted with the Adriatic region. If navigating a vessel on your own,please feel free to contact us for help we’ll gladly give you our suggestions about the safe bays in the maritime zone where you go sailing.

Technical equipment on board?

If having reserved a vessel through our website, please check the additional information on vessel equipment for every single boat in our offer. Should you need any further assistance, just contact us and we’ll send you a document listing all the equipment on your chosen boat.

All boats in our offer have safety and navigation equipment as well as navigation maps.

When should I return the vessel to the marina and when can I board the vessel?

The vessel check in is usually after 03:00PM. The vessels are returned to the base on Friday afternoon/evening with an overnight in home port so in morning guests can check out by 09.00AM.

At that time the guests should leave the boat, so that it can be cleaned and prepared for new guests. The vessel can also be returned to the base on Saturday, but make sure it is before 8am, in order for guests to have enough time to fill the tank before leaving the vessel.

How is routing done?

When chartering the boat everything is fully customized towards the guests. There is no set itinerary if you do not wish to do so priorly with our travel designers and the route can be ‘played by ear’ with the captain/skipper once you get on the boat. In case you wish to pre book any tours the route can be pre-set so you just have to follow daily schedule. It is flexible and it all depends how you feel like traveling.

Apart from Milna, the nearby Brač Yachting Anchorage Bobovišća (+385 (0) 91 500 1619) is also becoming increasingly popular, where you can book your place on the buoy in advance.

ACI marina Palmižana

Pakleni islands off the coast of Hvar seem to have been created for anchoring, as was the nearby ACI Marina Palmižana (+385 (0) 21 744 995) with 180 berths. The nearby Vinogradišće cove offers the possibility of buoy berths (concessionaire Đenko Meneghello +385 (0) 91 171 82 42), and in addition to providing protection from almost all winds except the south, is locally famous for a spectacular number of excellent restaurants to visit by boat .

Anchorages on Vis island

If you are aiming towards Vis, make sure to stop at Budikovac, beloved for its turquoise lagoon whose depth rarely exceeds 2 meters. One of everyone’s favorite coves on the island is Stončica, where buoys have been set up to welcome yachts, and the same concessionaire (Gradina Vis +385 (0) 21 711 121) offers buoys in the town of Vis, where boaters have 100 berths at their disposal.

In Komiža, 30 boats can be moored on the waterfront (SDZ Port Authority +385 (0) 21 339 825), and 60 buoys have been set up in Komiža Bay (Komiža Nautical Center +385 (0) 21 713 215). Contact the Komiža Nautical Center if you decide to visit the Mezoporat cove on the island of Biševo, where 20 buoys have also been set up.

Island of Brač

Vis and beautiful beaches

The southeastern side of Vis and a range of incredibly beautiful islands are only a dozen nautical miles away. The next day, as soon as the sun approaches its zenith, let the magical colors of the Green Cave on the neighboring island of Ravnik spill over you. After that, visit another island delight – Srebrna beach, whose name – silver – is a misnomer, as the this cove boasts the most beautiful white pebble beach.

Sailing along the southern shores of Vis in the direction of sunset, you’ll find it hard to choose where to drop your anchor. Ruda cove lures with its almost Caribbean shades of blue, Mala and Vela Travna with imaginative configurations of rocky shores and silky miniature pebble bottoms, and the famous Stiniva is a true masterpiece of Mother Nature. Concert promoter Live Nation is getting into the ultra-luxury cruise business — see what it'll be like on weeklong superyacht sailings starting at $3,000 a person

• Live Nation's Vibee is getting into the ultra-luxury cruise business.
• The music event curator says it'll charter two superyachts for three weeklong Croatia cruises this summer.
• Like other vacation operators, Vibee says it's seen increasing demand for cruise and yacht-based trips.

Forget concerts — Live Nation wants music fans to start going on yacht vacations .

In 2023 and amid a boom in experiential travel , the entertainment company established Vibee, a music-based event curation arm. Less than a year later, Vibee has already executed affairs like a weekend Bahamas getaway headlined by singer Lionel Richie and a three-day Cabo San Lucas, Mexico party featuring DJ Tiësto.

Now, it's moving off-land and to the high seas with its new segment: Vibee Yacht Club.

This summer, Vibee says it'll charter two superyachts for three weeklong Croatia itineraries that are set to be, of course, centered on music.

Vibee is capitalizing on yet another increasingly popular concept: themed cruises.

Themed cruises can vary vastly, from Star Trek-centered sailings to itineraries helmed by famous comedians. And as of late, many of these niche voyages have been selling out faster than ever before.

Themed cruise operator Sixthman's November 2023 hip-hop itinerary sold out in less than five days with no publicly announced lineup.

Similarly, Vibee's first cruise, the 2023 EDSea — a wordplay on the electronic dance music festival Electric Daisy Carnival, or EDC — was fully booked in three days, again with an undisclosed lineup.

Armed with EDSea’s success, Vibee wants to dive deeper into the cruise segment — this time with a luxurious spin.

"We see the desire for cruise and yacht experiences continuing to rise," Harvey Cohen, president of Vibee, told Business Insider, echoing sentiments of the cruise industry's booming demand.

And not just the mass-market players: Over the last year, luxury cruise lines have also seen a rise in interest.

In its fourth-quarter earnings report from February 2024, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings said its two high-end brands, Oceania and Regent Seven Seas, had both seen "strong demand."

The latter had launched its latest $517.9 million luxury ship a few months prior, complete with caviar and a $6 million art collection.

Luxury cruises and superyachts aren’t known to be super-affordable.

Vibee says it's chartering the 141-foot-long Lupus Mare and nearly 161-foot-long Prestige for its three yacht sailings.

Vibee Yacht Club's cheapest option starts at $3,100 per person for a two-person cabin. Comparatively, EDSea's 2024 itinerary starts at $1,405 per person for a double occupancy interior cabin.

Yet, it could be a bargain for some superyacht fans: Weeklong charters for Lupus Mare start at about $71,000 a week, according to YachtCharterFleet.

Everything is better on a yacht. Champagne? Tastes better on a yacht. Cruises in general? Better on a yacht.

Going to an international music festival? Well, Vibee thinks it would be better to stay on a yacht than in a hotel.

On July 13, the first itinerary would start on day two of Ultra Europe, a popular three-day electronic dance music festival in Split, Croatia.

Following the event, the two yachts would sail to three Croatian islands before concluding in Hvar, Croatia. Along the way, the itinerary would include daytime swims, a sunset winery visit, and several parties (day and night).

Unsurprisingly, Vibee expects the itinerary to draw in younger travelers, specifically Gen Zers and millennials.

Lupus Mare is set to be chartered for two more itineraries: “Rock the Med” and “Marafiki on the Adriatic.”

A three-person cabin for both starts at $3,500 per person.

On Rock the Med, the week is set to begin with VIP tickets to a Lenny Kravitz show at the historic Pula Arena.

Afterward, it would sail to Croatian destinations with an itinerary that would include beach excursions and clubs.

Marafiki on the Adriatic isn’t centered on a single music event.

Instead, the roundtrip Split itinerary would feature on-board musical performances, daily yoga, "cultural outings," and, of course, beach clubs.

A bonus trip to Sonus Festival, a five-day rave, is an optional add-on.

Like a typical luxury cruise, travelers would have preorganized water taxis, chefs to prepare daily breakfasts and lunches, and all the yacht amenities.

The 20-cabin, 40-guest Prestige flexes indulgences like an indoor lounge, a hot tub, and a sundeck with plenty of beds.

Meanwhile, the 15-cabin, 34-guest Lupus Mare has comforts like a sauna and gym.

Travelers could wind down in the yacht's movie theater or hot tub. Or, they could take a slide into the water.

It’s no surprise Vibee is going the more sumptuous route with its itinerary-focused yacht concept.

" Revenge travel " might as well be known as "regular travel" at this point: People have continued to spend big on extravagant vacations, especially on luxury small cruise ships and trips planned around experiences and adventures.

Both are niches Vibee is trying to carve out for itself: Looking ahead, the new brand is already planning more music and sea-based vacations, Cohen told Business Insider.
