Squeaky-Clean Repair Policy

We are happy to repair your clean NRS gear, so be sure to rinse, dry and remove all dirt/sand/debris from the interior and exterior of your dry suits. (We’re lookin’ at you, sandy socks!) Any gear sent in for repair that has not been cleaned will result in a $30.00 cleaning fee.

The Palm Beach shop is home to a staff of technicians ready to provide the full range of yacht repair services. The 15,000 sq. ft facility offers both fabrication and mechanical services to the yacht market. Gillen Yacht Services’ dedication to the large yacht market is supported with its latest expansion into Safe Harbor Lauderdale Marine Center LMC. LMC is one of the largest and most prestigious boatyards in the US, capable of hauling large yachts up to 485 tons. The new facility houses technicians from all yacht trades to complete the most complex projects or perform routine maintenance.

Palm Beach - Seminole Boatyard

Our newest office is located at Seminole Marine Boat Yard in the heart of West Palm Beach. This facility on the intracoastal waterway is just minutes from the open ocean and can accommodate vessels up to 100 ft and haul up to 100 tons.

It was 1947 when Bob Derecktor began with a simple plan and a small shop in Mamaroneck, NY. His goal: build boats the equal of any in the world, and do it without compromise.

Today, the record says he and the yards he founded have done just that. Notable vessels ranging from America's Cup winners to massive mega-yachts to rugged Coast Guard cutters have come from Derecktor.

 Just as  remarkable is the way the business has evolved. That first shop has grown to three full-service facilities ranging the length of the East Coast, and a fourth currently coming online in Fort Pierce, Florida. And, while still among the world's best builders and still a family business, today we offer customers a variety of benefits from complex refits to destination marinas.

What has not changed is a driving determination to do it right. Which is why when most American boatbuilders that were around all those years ago are now but distant memories, Derecktor is thriving. And still right on course.

Our company headquarters, 25 miles north of Manhattan in Mamaroneck, New York, was the original Derecktor yard, founded by Bob Derecktor in 1947. Today, the site remains our new construction base and continues to offer repair services for a wide variety of yachts and commercial craft.

From its humble beginnings in 2004 operating out of his parent’s tiny pump house, Gavin Curtis grew ModuleMaster into a leading-edge technology company specializing in the repair of automotive electronics. Today, ModuleMaster operates out of two state-of-the-art facilities in Moscow, Idaho, home of the University of Idaho.

ModuleMaster receives over 1,000 modules a month including ABS controllers, instrument clusters, climate control modules, trip computers, and the list keeps growing.

Shared Ice Services Inc., responsible for the operations of both Nichols Brother Boat Builders (NBBB) and Everett Ship Repair (ESR), is thrilled to announce the appointment of Bart Goedhard as the new Director of Sales and Marketing. Bart brings more than 30 years of extensive experience in the international maritime and transportation industry. He has held leadership positions across a diverse range of sectors, including -marine and energy solutions, shipbuilding and repair firms, terminal ownership and operations, transportation companies, stevedoring services, and tug and barge operations. Bart brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success in the maritime industry.

In his new role, Bart will oversee all sales and marketing initiatives, focusing on expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth. His expertise will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies that align with our company’s goals and values.
