The Prices & Parties Aboard the Iconic Yachts of the F1 Monaco Grand Prix
It’s a bona fide showcase of opulence. Here’s what you need to know about the yachts at the Monaco Grand Prix.
The most expensive weekend in sports is here. Formula 1 drivers will take their talents to the French Riviera on Sunday for the Monaco Grand Prix. Sure, fans mainly flock to watch their favorite driver make the podium, but this particular race is also an excuse to show off one’s latest luxury toys.
In this case, it’s the super-yachts that provide the most picturesque backdrop for the complicated track.
Attending a Formula 1 race is already a bucket-list experience. Watching it from the upper deck of a multi-million-dollar aquatic behemoth? Not many can say they’ll have that opportunity. Logistically speaking, finding yourself on one of those things isn’t guaranteed. You either have to be the owner of the ship, know said owner personally, or eclipse celebrity status that will automatically grant you an invitation if you are even in the general vicinity.
The illustrious Port Hercules marina is the hottest place to be over the next few days, so let’s take a look at what it takes to find yourself amongst Hollywood A-listers and their Very Important Friends.
Subscribe for the biggest stories in the business of sports and entertainment, daily.
Securing a spot on the water is no easy feat. Many opt to rent one for the weekend, which certainly comes at a hefty price tag. According to The Sports Rush , there are 760 berths up for grabs, and the least expensive will run you $3,800 a night. But it’s no guarantee that price will grant you an acceptable vantage point of the race. If that’s a priority, then expect to pay at least $110,000 a night. Keep in mind, that doesn’t even include food, drinks, entertainment, and anything else to make your super-yacht the most exclusive of the bunch. Also, yachts perched along the inner docks of Port Hercules have a length restriction of 30 meters.
For those looking to experience opulence without the possession of a boat, there’s an option for that. Enter the super-yacht hospitality package. As Yacht Charter Fleet describes, you can still be among the who’s-who in Monte Carlo, and even get a trackside vantage point of the race. Because they don’t come with the responsibility of managing a boat, demand for this option is incredibly high. In fact, many secure their spots for next year immediately following this year’s festivities. All the same benefits like access to premier dining and extravagant amusement are still included.

Billed as the most prestigious hospitality package in Monaco, Amber Lounge is an immersive experience that aims to please. Securing a pass here is like finding a golden ticket for a trip to the Willy Wonka factory — except you’re likely feasting on the rarest of chocolate available. At this VIP spot, expect to network with F1 drivers, celebrities in town for the Cannes Film Festival, and if you’re lucky, royalty. Some of the must-attend events include fashion shows, charity events, dinners prepared by Michelin-starred chefs, and more. Individual passes for the lounge run €600 ($642) a person and climb up to €35,000 ($37,459) for a semi-private VIP suite table for 10 with free-flowing beverages and champagne. As for the yacht’s hospitality, a weekend experience aboard a cabin includes race viewing tickets, gourmet meals and afternoon tea, an open bar, and a live DJ for a cool €5,100 ($5,458) a person.
Who Owns the Largest Yacht in Monaco?
With all this talk about luxury, it certainly begs the question: What is the largest vessel? That so happens to be The Octopus , which was constructed for the late Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft and former owner of the Portland Trail Blazers, Seattle Seahawks, and Seattle Sounders. Measuring 414 feet long, The Octopus is worth $285 million and comfortably sleeps 12 guests. It has two helipads, a basketball court, a movie theater, and its own pool. The price to rent the yacht for a week is almost as extravagant as the amenities it offers, coming in at an overwhelming $2.2 million.
Here are more details about Octopus: The garage alone is 118 feet and holds 7 tenders, several jet skis, and a 10-person submarine. The boat was previously owned by the late Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, costing $20M to operate each year. In January, seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton and Olympic medalist Shaun White famously rented The Octopus to cruise around Antarctica, taking the continent’s breathtaking views, stunning wildlife, and more. Hamilton is set to race in Monaco, which he has won three times.

Very professional, customer orientated company - they remember your name when you call. Nothing seems too much trouble. Their packages are excellent - great choices along the Course to see the Cars. Rascasse and the Yachts in the harbour, being the best in my opinion.
Penelope Claire Mann - 2024
The Monaco Grand Prix was an amazing experience thanks to Senate Grand Prix. Senate Grand Prix takes the extra effort to treat all of there clients as if they where family and they make it affordable..
Art Gordon - 2024
From the moment you pick up the tickets , to the event itself, and the goodbye and drop off. I booked with Senate Grand Prix for the Monaco Grand Prix yacht experience and it has been second to none. Picking up your tickets at hotel hermitage with quite the welcome spread. Heading to the event with multiple people stationed in the principality to help you get to where you need (as this can get a little confusing for new timers). And, to the event itself, the Monaco Grand Prix weekend viewed from a beautiful yacht catered excellently, and served by quite the wonderful crew. I’m going again next year and bringing more of my friends and will be booking to senate Grand Prix again.
Mr. Lime - 2024
Absolutely fantastic experience - treated like royalty by the Senate team. Everything went like clock work and the service, food, facilities were great. The package we chose gave us exceptional views and we had a truly amazing experience!.
Stacey - 2024
Amazing trip to Monaco with my family and a few friends! We got to check one off the bucket list sitting on the back of a yacht watching the cars go by. Then moved spots each day for premier viewing and touring of Monaco. What an incredible experience. I would highly recommend this full package with stay at the Famous Fairmont. They even have two Michilin star restaurants in the hotel!
Jake William Thomas - 2024
What a weekend at Silverstone Grand Prix, the whole weekend exceeded my expectations and can’t thank the Senate team enough for providing such great service! The viewing from the legends suite was amazing, the food and drinks were faultless. Big Thankyou to Sian at senate for making it a fantastic experience, not just for me but for everyone that was in our suite. Highly recommend and will be booking with you in the future!

Monaco Yacht Show 2024: The Biggest, Boldest and Most Expensive Superyachts To See
Even in its 33rd year, Monaco Yacht Show continues to break its own milestones.
By Ellys Woodhouse and Toby Louch
The principality of Monaco has a calendar that’s filled with major events. While the financial benefits of this little tax haven ensure its population remains fairly well stocked with super-rich and socialites year-round, it’s these events that truly bring the masses. April calls for the tennis at The Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters; in May it’s time for the Formula One Grand Prix ; June brings the world-famous car show Top Marques ; and summer draws to a close with perhaps the most glam of the bunch, the Monaco Yacht Show, which this year falls on September 25 – 28.
For those interested in gazing upon some of the finest yachts that can be found anywhere in the world, Monaco ’s Port Hercules is a pretty good spot year-round, but for the weekend of the Monaco Yacht Show, things enter a different league.
The Monaco Yacht Show is essentially a gathering of the global superyacht community. From owners to innovators, manufacturers and brokers, all head to the principality. Each year, builders and brokers present around 120 superyachts and 60 luxury tenders , with many of these reflecting current industry trends and revealing the potential future direction of the industry. These vessels boast an average length of around 160 ft, with a sprinkling of superyachts that top the 320 ft mark – with this year’s headliner clocking in at 400 ft.
Aside from the yachts themselves, visitors can expect countless designers improving yacht interiors and engineers working to ensure the industry becomes more sustainable. There’s sure to be a lot going on.
So ahead of this year’s event, Elite Traveler has looked into which yachts will be on display at Port Hercules and curated a list of some of the show’s unmissable vessels. So blow the dust off your Panama hat and add a few zeros to your credit card limit, because these are some of the biggest, boldest and most expensive boats attending the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show.

The undisputed biggest headline of this year’s show – in every sense of the word – Lürssen’s Kismet will be the largest yacht to go on display in Port Hercules. While the previous title holder was another from Lürssen, the 377.6-ft Ahpo, the Kismet takes its victory by a considerable mile, clocking in at 400 ft. Previously known as Project Jag, the Kisamet was handed over to owner Shahid Khan in May 2024, making it one of the show’s newest deliveries, too.
With exterior design by Nuvolari Lenard and naval architecture by Lürssen Yachts along with Reymond Langton Design working on the yacht’s interiors , Kismet is decked out with a helipad, beauty salon, indoor and outdoor cinema, dance floor and gym. Perhaps unsurprising, but all this makes Kisamet one of the most expensive yachts to charter , too, asking for €3m (approx. $3.4m) per week with Cecil Wright & Partners.

Why Northeastern Spain is the Finest Family Destination
Delivered in 2019 by SilverYachts and refitted in 2024, the almost 280-ft, self-described ‘sports activity vessel’ Bold takes center stage at Monaco Yacht Show 2024. Designers Espen Øino created the superyacht’s striking, military-inspired exterior, creating a unique glass-enclosed loft on the upper deck that covers over 3,200 sq-ft of interior space. Meanwhile, Vain Interiors has created an opulent, New York-style loft, which is built to accommodate up to 12 overnight guests in eight luxurious staterooms and can carry up to 96 passengers while cruising.
With a a huge selection of water toys, a vast outdoor entertaining area with a bar and Teppanyaki grill, a cinema, an eight-person hot tub and a lounge surrounding a firepit, it’s no surprise that the Bold is a popular charter yacht, with Holl Robinson asking €875,000 ($972, 800) per week.
Following an extensive, three-year rebuild, the most expensive superyacht on the market has returned to Port Hercules for 2024, complete with a new look – and price tag, too, asking for €295m ($328m). The 344.5-ft Oceanco H3 superyacht has already picked up a handful of international awards for the new look and is expected to impress many fans at Monaco Yacht Show 2024.
In addition to the extra 10 meters that were added to the H3 ’s hull, the rebuild – from the likes of Reymond Langton Design, which worked on both the exterior and interior redesign, and the collaboration between Lateral Naval Architects and Oceanco on its naval architecture – also saw a pool deck, huge spa and wellness area and climate-controlled winter garden added to H3 ’s numerous amenities.

With its distinctive, shark-like exterior design, the 295-ft superyacht DAR will be hard not to miss at Monaco Yacht Show 2024. Built by Oceanco with exteriors designed by Luiz de Basto Design, the glossy black silhouette was inspired by the look of the hammerhead shark, with sinuous lines, wide set wing stations and a mast modeled after a dorsal fin.
Meanwhile, renowned Italy-based studio Nuvolari & Lenard has crafted swooping, contemporary interiors. DAR’s impressive features include a complete owner’s deck, complete with a private salon and jacuzzi, a wellness area, an impressive beach club, and two helipads for private use. Offering grandeur and complete privacy in equal doses, DAR can accommodate up to 14 guests in overnight accommodation, with separate living quarters to host as many as 31 crew members.

Despite only hitting the waters in June this year, the first wallywind110, Galma , is set to make its global debut at Monaco Yacht Show 2024. Measuring almost 110 ft, Galma ’s naval architecture comes from German studio judel/vrolijk & co while interior and exterior lines are designed by Wally in collaboration with Santa Maria Magnolfi. With a design that offers the comfort of a cruising yacht while maintaining the performance of a racing boat, Galma is characterized by the 22.6-ft telescopic keel and an all-carbon hull that has been painted in light metallic blue.
Other highlights of Galma include an 860-sq-ft full-beam cockpit with seating and dining for up to 15 people, as well as an open-plan raised saloon. Galma can accommodate up to eight guests overnight, with five crew members.

The largest yachts to have ever attended the Monaco Yacht Show
The Monaco Yacht Show is the most highly anticipated event of the Mediterranean season. But this year has generated even more excitement than usual, with a series of impressive milestones reached. The biggest superyacht in the show's history – the 122-metre Kismet – will be in attendance, alongside the largest number of 100-metre-plus yachts overall with the arrival of the 111.9-metre Renaissance and 105.3-metre H3 .
To honour this record-breaking edition, BOAT looks back at the Monaco Yacht Show's largest attendees...
Which show?
This year's Monaco Yacht Show will be a record-breaker with Lürssen 's mighty Kismet in attendance. An immense volume of 4,918GT houses a mosaic-line pool with a 40-tonne capacity, two spa pools, a certified helipad, fireplaces inside and out, a full-service spa, a lift and a gym. To say nothing of her intricate paint and marble detailing or the stainless-steel jaguar bow figure. It's no wonder Pascale Reymond, co-founder of Reymond Langton studio, has billed her a "cathedral of design".
Kismet also represents a first for the German shipyard with her underwater lounge and cinema, featuring extra-large windows (1.1 metres by 2.8 metres) that dip under the waterline. She follows a 95.2-metre World Superyacht Awards winner, now known as Whisper .
Another Lürssen, Ahpo was named after a term of endearment meaning grandmother. And her design certainly centres around the family, including two identical bedrooms with different colour schemes, designed for the original owner's twin girls. Wellness is another major focus, with a nature-themed spa, massage room, beauty salon and private owner's gym outfitted in red-lacquer furniture and custom dumbbells.
Other highlights include a mosaic bathroom modelled after the work of Gustav Klimt, a 12-seat cinema and an aft deck winter garden. There are quarters for up to 53 crew, including two helicopter pilots.
Renaissance
Renaissance was built by Spanish yard Freire and created by the legendary Jon Bannenberg , though for 40 years the design never left the drawing board. The owners turned to his son at Bannenberg & Rowell Design when it came time to build it and provided a long list of non-negotiables, including a large gym, high ceilings, lots of places to eat and a very large beach club. The brief was certainly fulfilled with a double-height formal dining room, a sushi bar and a deck entirely dedicated to wellness, including the aforementioned gym, a sauna, a ballet bar and a dedicated hair and beauty salon.
Accommodation is across 19 cabins, including an owner's deck with a 60-square-metre suite, a media room and a lounge with bar and dining. A private terrace with sunloungers and a Jacuzzi for six can be found forward.
Alaiya (then Tis ) was styled inside and out by British studio Winch Design and was commissioned by a long-time (read: seven year) charter client of Moran Yacht & Ship . The superyacht houses two helicopter pads, a 12-metre swimming pool, a private owner's deck and a "resort-inspired" spa across her 4,699GT interiors. Her tender garage can also accommodate two 13-metre tenders and a variety of water toys.
Accommodation is for 18 guests across nine cabins, with further quarters for 38 crew. Alaiya was sold following her appearance at the show and then underwent an extensive, seven-month refit with Blohm & Voss .
Kaos (then Jubilee ) is one of the most recognisable yachts on the water with a long, lean, metallic blue exterior by Igor Lobanov . The Oceanco looks surprisingly lithe for her immense size, attributed to the clever troupe l'oil effect design that gives the appearance of additional decks and so conceals her actual height. Interior details have been kept largely under wraps but at the time of her delivery, it was said that Kaos had the most marble and stone outfitted within the interior than any other superyacht.
The yacht is also known for her swimming pool, positioned on the largest of the four decks and peering into an aquarium in the beach club below. She was one of the most travelled superyachts of 2023 thanks to a mammoth transatlantic passage that began in St Barths for the New Year's celebrations and ended in the River Thames, London.
A Benetti creation, IJE is the flagship of the Italian shipyard's fleet and a full-custom project to boot. British studio RWD is responsible for the exterior and interior design, which is meant to capture "the soul of an explorer" in a polished superyacht package.
As a result, IJE was kitted out with three large tenders, eight Jet Skis, comfortable guest and crew cabins for long stints in remote areas, as well as an owner's deck, a nightclub, a cinema, a gym and a beach club. She is also reportedly equipped with the largest single-point lift crane installed on a yacht. The superyacht edges out previous flagships Luminosity and Lana by only a few centimetres.
Amadea took just 31 months to complete from the first steel cutting, which was quite the feat for a vessel of her size. Exterior design is by Espen Øino International , while interiors were styled by Francois Zuretti . Her highlights include a 4D cinema with popcorn machine, a hand-painted Pleyel piano and a spa pool and sunpad set up that can convert into a live stage with built-in speakers, stage lights and laser beams. The owner’s cabin also has a private terrace complete with a mosaic-lined pool.
The superyacht was arrested in May 2022 after her UBO (ultimate beneficiary owner) was allegedly sanctioned following the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
She may not have the (literal) edge over Kismet this year, but H3 is a record-breaker in her own right as the current world's most expensive yacht for sale . The superyacht is asking an eye-watering €295,000,000 with Edmiston and earns the bill, outfitted with a piano previously owned by Elton John – the one on which he wrote the album Songs from the West Coast – a large pool with a waterfall feature, a huge spa and wellness area with a nail salon and a climate-controlled winter garden in the owner's suite.
Her three-year rebuild, beginning in 2020, won her international acclaim and a World Superyacht Award . Virtually nothing was left from her previous life as Indian Empress except the hull, which had also been extended a further 10 metres. BOAT International was provided an exclusive look inside her rebuild last year.

F1 Season Of The Century: The Azerbaijan Grand Prix
Oscar Piastri wins in Baku with Lando Norris recovering to P4. McLaren now lead Red Bull by 20 points the World Constructors’ Championship

BAKU, AZERBAIJAN - SEPTEMBER 15: Oscar Piastri of Australia driving the (81) McLaren MCL38 Mercedes leads Charles Leclerc of Monaco driving the (16) Ferrari SF-24 during the F1 Grand Prix of Azerbaijan at Baku City Circuit on September 15, 2024 in Baku, Azerbaijan. (Photo by Joe Portlock - Formula 1/Formula 1 via Getty Images)
McLaren’s Oscar Piastri is a cold-blooded assassin behind the wheel. As I suggested in my original F1 Season of the Century story, this second-year driver has the unique combination of skill, motivation and killer instinct to win F1 championships. We haven’t seen a ruthless talent like this since Max Verstappen joined the grid, and it was on full display in the 2024 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Given the stakes of this exceptional season, we’re not only seeing exciting qualifying sessions and races. But free practice is also exciting and even meaningful. FP3 in Baku felt like qualifying. The margins are so tight that every little setup change and upgrade can mean the difference between P1 and P8 or worse for the top four teams. We saw Verstappen on top in FP1 after Leclerc crashed out, and then Charles Leclerc in FP2, where the top three including Sergio Perez (P2) and Lewis Hamilton (P3) were separated by just 66 thousandths of a second. And finally George Russell “won” FP3. There’s nothing and everything at stake in practice nowadays. Plus, there are three sprint weekends over the final seven races, where make-or-break points are available.
The practice sessions in Baku setup a qualifying that was anyone’s guess. The big shock was Norris’ Q1 exit due largely to a questionable yellow flag during his final lap. The track evolved quite a bit during Q1, so the checkered-flag lap was critical for all. This left Norris in P17, though he’d end up starting at P15 due to penalties for Alpine and Mercedes.

In a thrilling Q3, Leclerc secured his fourth pole position in Baku followed by Piastri (P2), Carlos Sainz (P3), Perez (P4), Russell (P5) and Verstappen (P6). This was the first time Perez out-qualified his teammate since Miami 2023, and this time it was purely on merit. Baku is perhaps Perez’s strongest track, and Verstappen continued to struggle with the RB20 despite claims after Monza that the team had identified the issues. This also flipped the so-called “papaya rules” on its head. Prior to the weekend, McLaren stated that Piastri would, in fact, support Norris in his championship fight with Verstappen, if and when he could. But the starting order meant that Norris would more likely be supporting Piastri.
There were so many questions heading into Sunday’s race. How far would Norris be able to recover? I estimated P5 was possible given McLaren’s pace and the likelihood of a safety car in Baku. Would Leclerc convert his pole position to a victory, having failed on his past three attempts? Would McLaren score enough points to take the lead in the World Constructors’ Championship (WCC) from Red Bull? Would Ferrari close the gap enough to make the WCC a three-horse race? Would Perez redeem his season and claim a third victory in Baku? All of these were likely scenarios and yet all of them couldn’t be true.

We also had a number of compelling sub-plots, if you will. Oliver Bearman sat in for a race-banned Kevin Magnussen at Haas. This is the seat he’ll have for 2025. Bearman previously drove for Sainz in Saudi Arabia, where he finished in the points for Ferrari at P7. It’s worth noting he qualified P11 ahead of teammate and qualifying specialist Nico Hulkenberg at P13 after only a few practice sessions in the car this season. Then we saw the Williams drivers, Alex Albon and rookie temp driver, Franco Colapinto, qualify P10 and P9 respectively. Which begged the question: Is Williams shedding its backmarker status to become a legit mid-field challenger?
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is 51 laps around a technical street course in the city of Baku. It is characterized by slow corners, close walls and two maximum-speed straightaways. The final straight is where most of the overtaking happens, either as a function of superior straight-line speed or else a move into turn one—both with the benefit of DRS. In years when certain teams had a pace advantage, they’d breeze past and complete the pass before the braking zone. In 2024, though, the fine margins between the top four teams mean that every overtake has to be defended, and none will come easy.

There was so much going on during the Grand Prix that broadcasters had a tough time keeping up with all of the action. First, you had the tight battle between Leclerc, Piastri and Perez at the front. Next, you had Norris inching his way forward from P15 on an alternate strategy, which started on the hard tires for a longer first stint. Then you had the battles between Haas and Williams for the final points positions, where Albon and Colapinto were also on alternate strategies.
Through the first third of the race, it appeared Leclerc was in control. He built a decent gap to Piastri and Perez ahead of the only planned pitstop to go from medium to hard tires. During the pitstop melee and out lap, however, where we were also keeping up with everything else happening on track, that gap was eliminated. Perez then attempted to undercut Piastri, but Norris was there to hold him up in sector two (papaya rules!), which enabled Piastri to emerge from the pits just ahead of Perez. The decisive moment of the Grand Prix came on lap 20.
Against his race engineer’s better judgement, Piastri sent it up the inside of turn one on Leclerc. He’d later admit he saw a 50/50 chance of making the corner in braking so late. He got it done, but Leclerc still had a better exit coming from the outside line. This meant Piastri had to defend (like a killer) through turns two and three. In my view, this was the overtake of the season (so far) in both getting it done and making it stick. Not to mention becoming the difference between victory and P2.

For the next 20 laps or so, Piastri and Leclerc—McLaren and Ferrari—would battle one another for every tenth, all while Perez stalked them from P3. Piastri was losing his front tires. Leclerc was losing his rears. At one point, both cars drifted sideways over the curb leading into the final straight, pushing to the absolute limit. When Piastri had to defend into turn one, always protecting the inside line, it brought Perez back into DRS range with Leclerc, who was then put under pressure. This race had zero dull moments.
Meanwhile, Norris was closing a 15-second gap to Verstappen on fresh medium tires with about 12 laps to go. Russell came alive on his second stint, overtaking Verstappen on the inside before turn one. And Sainz was stalking Perez in clean air. Norris caught Verstappen with a few laps left, passing him around the outside, and was also tracking toward a bonus point for the fastest lap. This gave Verstappen a free pitstop to secure the fastest lap if he pitted right away. Then all hell broke loose.

By the penultimate lap, Piastri had a commanding gap and was setting up for victory. Leclerc had cooked his rear tires and was looking vulnerable to Perez. But Sainz had joined the party and could probably taste P2 given the struggles of his teammate. As the three drivers barreled into turn one, Leclerc protected the inside line. Perez tried to take him on the outside, which opened the door and allowed Sainz to pass him on the inside. Perez got a better exit from the outside and had the pace to retake the position. Except that Sainz was focused on Leclerc ahead, while also realizing his exit was compromised, so he moved to the left in an attempt to squeeze Perez on the approach to turn two. Perez didn’t flinch. All it took was the slightest touch of Perez’s front right tire with Sainz’s rear left tire to send both drivers quite violently into the wall, triggering a Virtual Safety Car with one lap remaining. Russell and Norris inherited P3 and P4, respectively, and Verstappen would emerge from the pits to claim P5 with no shot at a fastest lap.
In the final analysis, Perez and Sainz came together in a racing incident. I’d argue Perez was more at fault simply because he had a better view. Sainz was ahead by half a car length and already skirting the wall. It was natural for him to want to move left. My sense is that Perez was frustrated by attempting to snatch P2 from Leclerc only to end up in P4 behind Sainz. It was embarrassing. So he appeared to be driving with high levels of emotion—incidentally, something you’ll never see from Piastri because he’s a cold-blooded killer. Sainz was also to blame, but it was within Perez’s ability and interest to avoid the contact, regardless of who was at fault, and he didn’t.
As a result of Perez’s crash, Norris’ recovery, Piastri’s victory and Verstappen’s mediocre P5 finish, McLaren now lead the WCC by 20 points. And Norris closed the gap to Verstappen in the Drivers’ Championship by a few points to 59.
The second stop on this Asian double-header is another famous street circuit in Singapore (September 20-22), widely considered the most physically demanding race of the season due to its heat, humidity and track design. It’s also a night race under the lights. If past is prelude, we’ll see Red Bull struggle even more than usual, as this was the only race the team conceded in 2023. We might even see Williams challenging the Red Bulls if its pace continues.
Singapore will likely be another close battle between McLaren and Ferrari. Of the four drivers, the smart money is on the Australian assassin. But what if Piastri and Norris lock out the front row with Piastri on pole? What we’d likely see then is another Hungary scenario, where Norris undercuts Piastri but doesn’t give the place back this time. Which conveniently avoids any on-track conflict. With Ferrari in the fight, though, it may not make sense to gamble with team order shenanigans.
