Great time snorkeling with this crew! We saw a lot of fish and many sea turtles. My daughter loved jumping off the side of the boat over and over! Drinks were great too!

My husband and I had a wonderful time on the 2:30 Sunset Cruise. The guys sailing us out were super nice. It was beautiful on the water, and we even saw a turtle in the water! The Mai Tai drinks they had on board, were actually the best we had the entire trip. I would defiantly recommend this experience! P.S. you could get soaked...we did :-)

So much fun! One of the more affordable sunset cruises and 100% worth it. The workers on the boat were friendly and upbeat and did a great job of cultivating a fun vibe. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Best part of my trip! Kalani, Mina, Mitchell and Justin were great. Super nice and friendly. The views during sunset were incredible. I will definitely be booking this again when I come back to Waikiki. Thanks Manu Kai crew!

This was a great experience. We went on the morning snorkel tour and had a fantastic time! The boat comes right to the beach at Waikiki. The people were fantastic!!! We saw 3 turtles and lots of fish at turtle canyon.

We did the Diamond Head Tour and had a great time. This is a 90 min tour with sails up. Captain and crew were great. Great views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the boat. The Manu Kai is small enough that you really felt the waves and were really sailing. Crew were manning the sails but still had time to make sure you had mai tais. Overall a great time and highly recommend.

Well worth the money. Great crew, drinks included. Plenty of room on the boat. Friendly atmosphere. Bring a camera or iPhone, maybe a sweatshirt for after sunset. Expect to have a great time for $40.00. Definitely would go again.

We chose Manu Kai for the mid morning turtle snorkel at Turtle Canyon and had a terrific time. We saw plenty of turtles and fish and enjoyed the professional but casual, laid back vibe of the crew. Jess in particular was outstanding (with a background in marine biology). Post our snorkel we headed towards Diamond Head for a great view of the beach and were lucky enough to see dolphins at play. A great morning trip.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Guests receive a full refund with a 24-hour notice of cancellation. Full refunds are also issued in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

During the slower seasons and typically for the morning sails, tour cancellations can occur due to not meeting a minimum requirement of 6 booked guests. In these rare situations, guests are always given the option to rebook or refund. If you are concerned about your tour, please call with any questions.

Guests wishing to rebook or reschedule must give 24 hours’ notice. Contact us by phone directly to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows and guests cancelling within 24 hours of departure will be charged full price.

CHECK-IN POLICY

Check-in time for all tours is strictly 30 minutes prior to departure, with no exceptions. Failure to check in on time will result in loss of reservation.

We require payment for all reservations. Otherwise all trips are first come, first served. We accept cash or credit card as payment methods.

A splashing good time!

The team at Waikiki Sailing were a well-oiled sailing machine! The directions provided in the confirmation email were clear and easy to follow. Check in was smooth and the beach boarding only splashed us up to our shins. We decided to sit on the catamaran netting on a particularly windy day and were warned about getting splashed multiple times. We endured the soaking and had an amazing time, plus the crew helped grab our empties and snacks so we could continue to enjoy. I recommend Waikiki Sailing 10,000 times over!

A super experience!

We were a little apprehensive about getting a boat from the sandy beach, but it was all beautifully managed and we enjoyed a really good trip and a lovely sunset. We were able to sit still and enjoy the drink and nibbles we had brought with us, while others enjoyed moving around onto the net to enjoy being really near the water. Even a little child under one year was there! I would recommend this to anyone. A few steps through water and up into the boat led to a wonderful trip.

Cute small sailboat! Not too windy the day we went but still good ride! They had friends on board so they stopped and let anyone swim! I was bummed I wasn’t prepared for that cause I love the water! People in charger were nice and friendly! Thank you!

Good experience if you haven’t tried

There are 10 of us. We didn’t really know what to expect but we had such a blast. The staff was very friendly. Bring a towel just in case get wet or feel cold.

The crew was very attentive and made sure that we were safe and comfortable. This was my first sail and was a little nervous; but the crew was very helpful and reassured me. We would definitely do it again.

Nothing negative to say. Small sailing boat with less people. That was good because it was not crowded. Crew was funny & helpful. You can bring your own drinks and snacks. It was a nice and relaxing trip.

Perfect way to end a day in paradise

My husband and I loved the BYOB Sunset Cruise. The crew was expert and helpful. They took pictures of couples and families if you asked and generally made everything fun and casual. I had never been on a catamaran before and I felt perfectly comfortable.It's a small craft, so you will get wet, but not soaking (unless you opt to ride on the webbing up front). Memories for a lifetime!

Great cruise!

It was the perfect welcome activity for the family! The cruise was relaxing, the crew very friendly. It rained very briefly which was ok because it gave us a beautiful rainbow. We loved the magical sunset colours. The pick up point was very accessible, right on Waikiki beach which is just walking distance from our hotel (and most hotels). Prepare to get your feet and/or legs wet when boarding and getting off but it was part of the experience! The price is also reasonable and allows you to bring drinks of your choice. Would do it again if we’re back.

Great hosts, easy ride!

My husband and my two boys and I went on a sunset cruise and had a fantastic time. We got to drink our own drinks so we didn’t have the watered down stuff. They usually serve on these types of cruises. The crew was incredibly friendly. We saw a beautiful sunset and multiple rainbows.

I booked this sunset cruise because it was smaller and I'm glad I did. The cruise was fantastic. Beautiful views. Inches from the water and fun captain. Learned about several visible structures and some catamaran history. Highly recommend this cruise. Six stars for this crew and the ship.

Great staff, very friendly. Worth the price. Starting point is on the beach and it's around 90 mins . We were lucky and got to see whales.

easy to locate the catamaran. the couple who ran the boat were so very sweet. their son took an amazing photo of us. beautiful sunset/views, and BYOB was definitely the way to go. so many fun & friendly guests joined us as well, but it didn't feel crowded. the length of time and distance was worth it. so many other cruises are overpriced but i was careful to find one that was more budget-friendly and so glad i did. would go again for sure!

We totally enjoyed the cruise, captain and crew. Very knowledgeable, kind, welcoming and helpful.

This was a wonderful and beautiful experience! If you want to experience the net of the catamaran, make sure to wear a swim suit or clothes you dont mind getting wet in. Overall 10/10 experience with lovely staff and incredible views.

The catamaran, staff, punctuality and overall experience was excellent! This is an absolutely beautiful way to experience the sunset off Waikiki. We were encouraged to sit at the front, helped with pictures, and greeted with smiles all around. As a BYOB experience, it was well worth the money!

We had a wonderful sunset cruise. A very low-key and relaxing way to view the sunset and beautiful landscape. Captain and family are friendly and kind and make the experience even more enjoyable.

Sunset Cruise

Was an excellent cruise with theee lovely, fantastic crew members (they were excellent with my older mother too). Boom net was fun, we saw a pod of dolphins and caught a great wave back into the beach. Lots of fun and excellent value for money. Would highly recommend!

Sunset tour

One of my most favorite adventures in Honolulu. Beautiful sunset, spinner dolphins, and turtles. The staff is great helped with everyone get on and off the boat., They asked it they could take photos for us. Answered all questions. I would highly recommend.
