On Season 3 of Below Deck , the crew catered to guests on board the Eros , a 161-foot luxury yacht, which will take the cast and some well-heeled guess Bahamas. The Eros has high-end pleasures like an on-deck jacuzzi and a gym. Like previous years, Below Deck representatives changed the name of the actual yacht for the show.

Below Deck’s Eros is actually called Mustang Sally.The ship also offers guests water toys like a wave runner, water skis, snorkeling equipment, and scuba diving equipment.

When it is not being filmed on Below Deck, Mustang Sally charters for about $192,000 per week in the summer and about $175,000 in the winter.

Great crew, Outstanding yacht.

Though I’ve thought all the Yachts were nice, I’d have to say the EROS is probably a favorite. The layout is so much different than the others.

I was thinking how amazingly fun it would be to work on this yacht….then I thought HELL NO!!! I want to be a pampered guest on that boat, surrounded by an amazing and super fun crew!!! It would be a once in a lifetime trip!!!! I would love my whole family (which is very small) to join me for pure rest & relaxation and tons of fun; with no worries at all… But DAAA’UUUMMM……it is so dang freaking expensive to rent this yacht for a week. I am not that wealthy, so it’s unlikely I’ll ever be able to afford an type of vacation on this gorgeous be z

Us poor peeps can only hope to win the give away Cruz on that boat for the week…

One day I will be able to take a trip on this yacht or spend a week on this yaht, when that day comes I’ll know I won the lotto…lol

I don’t get it. What’ s so special about a yacht? $200,000 and for what?

WoW!! I only wish that I were related to the Real House Wife celeb, Ms. Bailey. What a blessing to grab a few best friends and even just enjoy a weekend at sea…….now that would make me very happy. I will be looking for that “Eros Cruise Contest” as well.

I thought it would fun to get 10 friends and split the cost until I checked into the prices. Wow, I can pay my house off for the amount of money they are asking. I watch the show and I have not been impressed with the food the chef serves, the entertainment, an employee dressing up as a mermaid?? and some water toys. Add another 10000.00 or more for the tip at the end of the week. Maybe when I hit the lotto!

The actual Below Deck yacht is available to charter in Miami area for anyone that has the money.

I would NEVER charter the Eros after seeing the show ‘Below Deck’ & seeing how the crew mock the quests publicly on camera! How rude & unprofessional!

EROS currently registered in the United States is actively available for charter in several cruising destinations.

The luxury sailing yacht EROS, previously named JEANRY, was built by Brooke Marine and delivered to her owner in 1939, she later underwent a refit in 2019.

The exterior of EROS is designed by William Mc Keek.

The 115ft / 35.1m EROS has been constructed with a wood hull and is powered by 350hp V-892 Detroit Diesel with a cruising speed of 9 knots and a top speed of 12 knots.

Justin Bernhart

Justin Bernhart is a licensed captain with an extensive background in marine safety and charter, as well as tall ship and motor yacht handling. He is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, with experience in search and rescue, and a graduate of the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding. He has spent years building and restoring wooden boats on the east and west coasts of North America. He is an experienced offshore sailor and deliveryman, and has been at the helm of various charter and privately-owned vessels, from the 103-foot gaff-rigged AURORA to a 12-meter racing sloop and a 112-foot Westport motor yacht. His credentials include a 500-ton USCG license, advanced firefighting, medical care, and rescue. He is adept at crew training, supervision, and all aspects of yacht management.

Aimee grew up on the local waters of New England. From an early age she developed a deep love for the ocean. With past experiences in surf instruction, surf rescue, this surfer gone sailor is at home on the water. Her sailing experience began as a child on her father’s boat and working as a deckhand aboard 12 Meter “Heritage”. Her interests also include free diving and astrology. During your time aboard Eros, Aimee will make you feel right at home. Her years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industries and knowledge on deck allow her to deliver a 5-star experience no matter what. She is ecstatic to serve on Eros where she combines all of her passions in one place.

Jessica is a yoga teacher, health coach, energy healer, nutritional chef, and entrepreneur. Her highest joy is hosting wellness based adventure retreats. She grew up on Block Island and spent half her childhood home-schooled on a boat in the Bahamas. Jessica studied philosophy, anthropology and psychology at Colorado College. As a chef, Jessica is renowned in her community for the delicious healthy foods and has a gift for bringing amazing people together and facilitating joyful and transformational experiences.

Jared Frith

Jared started sailing dinghies and other small boats on Lake Dillon near his home in Breckenridge, Colorado. He joined a steel l ketch carrying charter guests between Panama and Colombia through the San Blas Islands and fell in love with sailing and the charter business. From there Jared traveled by land through many different countries, but really missed sailing so he found himself on more yachts, gravitating towards larger and older traditional vessels, mostly schooners. Jared loves wooden yachts, the older the better; he enjoys their character. And he loves sharing time on these yachts with guests that he can teach and form friendships with. He enjoys long sea deliveries, seeing the crew become a team, standing watch and partaking in the ultimate nature outing. In his free time Jared loves spending time in the outdoors and traveling as much as possible.

Luxury Classic sailing yacht EROS (35.1m / 1151’) was launched by English shipyard Brooks Motor Crafts back in 1939.  Always kept in excellent condition, she accommodates up to 8-10 yacht charter guests sleeping in 1 Master suite, 2 VIP double cabins and 2 twin cabins, one of which is convertible into a double, both with an additional Pullman. All cabins are en-suite and feature their own audio and visual entertainment systems. There are always at least 11 super yacht crew members on board including the captain. This charter yacht mainly cruises at speeds of around 9kn and is normally offered for luxury crewed yacht charters within the Mediterranean in summer and East Caribbean in winter months. Her crew are happy to offer ONE WAY or TANDEM charters between other destinations too and on request. Thanks to her V-892 Detroit diesel super yacht engine totalling 1 x 350hp, during the right sea and wind conditions, she can reach maximum speeds of around 15.5kn. The Eros team comprises of five seasoned, professional and fun loving crew members. While they each have their own responsibilities, they work hand-in- hand to insure our guests enjoy the best vacation imaginable. Colin Horton, Captain - Colin began his sailing career in his home, the Pacific Northwest, while he was in college. He has spent the last 10+ years working on a variety of vessels all over the world. His experience includes multiple Caribbean and Mediterranean sailing seasons, two transatlantic voyages and many super yacht regattas. Colin holds his 200-ton Near Coastal USCG Cap- train’s license. In his off time, Colin owns and maintains his own sailboat and enjoys cruising around the greater New England area. Brieanne Buckey, Chief Stew - Bri grew up on Jamestown Island across the bridge from Newport, RI, where she naturally fell in love with the ocean, and boats. Heather Stout, Chef - Heather grew up in the southwest desert of Utah and migrated to the eastern coast over a decade ago, where she ended up in Maine and fell in love with classic wooden schooners, the rugged Atlantic shoreline, and the hearty New England agriculture. With over twenty years of experience in restaurants and farming, Heather knows the importance of promoting local food culture by finding and learning the expertise of farmers, ingredients, and practices from the different regions we visit. She places an emphasis on healthy and vibrant meals, and brings a clear message of sustainability and nourishment to her cuisine. Tami Stawicki, Chief Stewardess. Tami grew up on the coast of Connecticut before moving to New York to work as an actuary. After five years, she wanted to focus on traveling and made the switch to work as a host on yachts in Croatia. After a couple of seasons and working various hospitality roles, she is excited to join the crew on Eros. In her free time, Tami enjoys reading, walking, swimming, and running. Esteban Mogollon, First Mate - Esteban´s passion for sailing began in south Florida, where he would race his older sister in a couple lasers across Biscayne Bay. He became enchanted with classic sailboats after working on a few schooners in Newport, RI and Connecticut. Currently holding a 100-Ton Near Coastal USCG Captain´s license, he aspires to upgrade to a 200-Ton license. Beyond the sea, Esteban finds joy in woodworking, surfing, and watching fútbol. Brieanne Buckey, Stewardess/ Deckhand- Bri grew up on Jamestown Island across the bridge from Newport, RI, where she naturally fell in love with the ocean, and boats. Our cruise Downeast along the Maine coast featured wonderful sailing, cozy anchorages, a variety of options for shopping, dining, or hiking ashore, and wonderful meals on the boat. We especially enjoyed happy hours and dinners around the cockpit table with party lights strung around the deck for ambiance as we watched the sunset across the water. Eros was fun to sail on a reach with the rig powered up. The Chef and food were amazing and you even met our wish for a lobster bake onshore. We can´t begin to adequately put into words how wonderful our trip was. Amy and Max were spectacular and took care of our every need. Justin and Jared gave sailing memories we will never forget. The Eros team comprises of five seasoned, professional and fun loving crew members. While they each have their own responsibilities, they work hand-in- hand to insure our guests enjoy the best vacation imaginable.

Justin Bernhart, Captain – Justin cultivated his love for sailing on lake Austin, Ohio where he grew up. When he finished high school he joined the US Coast Guard where he served as a Boatswains Mate and coxswain on search and rescue and law enforcement missions. After the Coast Guard Justin attended a wooden boat building school in Washington state which led him to a career in tall ships. While sailing with Justin you can rest assured that you’re in good hands. Justin holds a 1,600 ton oceans USCG captains license. In his free time Justin enjoys spending time on his own boats and in the Mountains, skiing, trekking and camping.

Colin Horton, Relief Captain – Colin began his sailing career in his home, the Pacific Northwest, while he was in college. He has spent the last 10+ years working on a variety of vessels all over the world. His experience includes multiple Caribbean and Mediterranean sailing seasons, two transatlantic voyages and many super yacht regattas. Colin holds his 200-ton Near Coastal USCG Cap- train’s license. In his off time, Colin owns and maintains his own sailboat and enjoys cruising around the greater New England area. Brieanne Buckey, Chief Stew – Bri grew up on Jamestown Island across the bridge from Newport, RI, where she naturally fell in love with the ocean, and boats. Delaney Vorwick, Mate – A recent grad from Boston College, Delaney has sailed extensively in many parts of the world aboard bare boat charters and on her family’s private sailboat. She made the transition to professional mariner in 2020 and has worked full time ever since aboard large traditional sailing vessels just like Eros. She is currently studying to take her 100-Ton USCG exams. In her free time she enjoys exploring the natural world around her including birding, hiking and swimming.

Rachel Saudek, Stew – Rachel grew up sailing along the coast of Maine, out of Boothbay Harbor, with her family. While sailing every summer, she pursued other things in life such as dance, yoga, and growing food sustainably. After living part-time on the coast of Brazil and part-time in New England for many years, she decided sailing was something she wanted to pursue more seriously. She is thrilled to combine her experience in hospitality and experience on boats, and to set off on a new adventure by joining the crew of Eros.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“ Terms ”) CAREFULLY AS THEY CONTAIN IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, REMEDIES AND OBLIGATIONS AS WELL AS A SECTION GOVERNING THE JURISDICTION AND VENUE OF DISPUTES. THESE TERMS ALSO CONTAIN A LEGALLY BINDING RELEASE, WAIVER OF LIABILITY, AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK. By creating a username, a login, clicking submit, using the services of Charter Experts, LLC d/b/a Virgin Island Sailing® (“ Broker ) or by accessing Broker’s website, you agree that you have read, and acknowledge your acceptance of these Terms. The Terms are subject to change at any time without notice at Broker’s sole discretion. Additionally, any transaction for which you have made payment shall be governed by the form of Terms in effect at the time of such payment notwithstanding any subsequent changes hereto.

If you are obtaining a quote, information, booking travel for and/or securing or procuring a Charter (as that term is defined in Section 1 below) for more than just yourself, all references below to “Charterer” or “you” (and derivations thereof) shall be read to mean you on behalf of yourself and each individual within your group for whom you are obtaining a quote, information, booking travel for and/or securing or procuring Charter.

These Terms shall be read together and construed, to the fullest extent possible, to be in concert with any other agreement by or among Broker and Charterer. To the extent they cannot be so construed, then in the event of any direct conflict between these Terms and any other agreement by or among Broker and Charterer (including but not limited to the agreement executed by Charterer for a Charter Reservation (as that term is defined in Section 1 below), these Terms shall prevail.

• Prepaid Charter Reservations . Typically, Broker negotiates charter rates in advance with the yacht owner or charter company (“ Charter Provider ”) to obtain cost-effective rates, and facilitate reservations and availability for yacht charters, excursions and travel (the “ Charter ”). Broker also provides services to you by facilitating the booking of reservations for consideration and receives a commission from the Charter Provider (the “ Broker Fee ”). The Broker Fee is included in the pre-negotiated Charter rate provided to you, plus taxes and other fees where applicable. You agree that your payment is for the total amount set forth in the applicable Charter agreement (which Charter Provider may refer to as a Charter Contract, Charter Agreement, Booking Terms & Conditions, Instructions and Terms for Accommodations, as well as other derivations) provided to you by Broker (“ Charter Agreement ”). Upon execution of the Charter Agreement and receipt of the applicable deposit, you will have made a reservation for the Charter that authorizes Broker to facilitate the Charter on your behalf (“Charter Reservation”), including making payment arrangements with the Charter Provider. You further agree that Broker is a third-party beneficiary to the Charter Agreement and shall have the right to enforce such agreement to the extent it deems such enforcement necessary or advisable to protect its rights hereunder or under the Charter Agreement.

  Broker retains the Broker Fee as compensation in arranging your Charter Reservation. The Broker Fee varies based on the amount and type of Charter and/or services provided by Broker.  By making a Charter Reservation, you accept and agree to the relevant cancellation and no-show policy of the Charter Provider set forth in the Charter Agreement. Cancellation and no-show policies vary for each Charter. Carefully read the Charter Agreement and additional information provided to you by Broker. It is expressly agreed by Charterer that the Broker Fee is earned at the time the Charter Reservation is made. Late payment, wrong credit card or debit card details, invalid credit or debit cards, or insufficient funds are for your own risk and account, and you will not be entitled to any refund of any prepaid amount unless the Charter Provider expressly agrees otherwise under the Charter Agreement or in some other signed writing.

• Charter Rules and Restrictions . Additional terms and agreements will apply to your Charter Reservation and any purchase or rental of equipment or other items, supplies, provisions and travel you may select. Please read those additional terms carefully. In particular, if you have purchased airfare, please ensure that you read the full terms and conditions of carriage issued by the supplier. You agree to abide by the terms of purchase imposed by any supplier with whom you elect to deal, including but not limited to payment of all amounts when due and compliance with the supplier’s rules and restrictions regarding availability, charges, fares, and use of products and services.
• Payment . All payments must be made by personal check, bank/wire transfer, ACH payment and/or with a major credit card unless otherwise expressly stated. The total price for the Charter Reservation will be billed in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise stated. Some banks and credit card companies impose fees for international transactions. If you are making a reservation from outside of the United States on a US credit card, your bank may convert the payment amount to your local currency and charge you a conversion fee. This means the amount listed on your credit or bank card statement may be in your local currency and therefore a different figure than the amount provided by Broker for the Charter Reservation. In addition, a foreign transaction fee may be assessed if the financial institution that issued your credit card is located outside of the United States. Booking international travel may be considered to be an international transaction by the financial institution or card company. The currency exchange rate and foreign transaction fee is determined solely by your financial institution on the day that it processes the transaction. If you have any questions about these fees or the exchange rate applied to your booking, please contact your financial institution. Broker shall not be liable to you for any such service, conversion, or exchange fee.

  Broker expressly reserves the right to cancel your Charter Reservation if full payment is not timely received as set forth in the Charter Agreement.

• Cancellation and Rescheduling . You may cancel or change your Charter Reservation as set forth in the Charter Agreement by and among you, the Charter Provider and/or Broker. Please note that some Charter Providers do not permit changes to or cancellation of reservations after they are made, or after a certain date, as indicated in the Charter Agreement. You agree to abide by the terms of the Charter Agreement with respect to your Charter Reservation. Broker will not be responsible for reimbursing Charterer for any previously tendered deposits or payments by Charterer and disclaims all liability for the failure of a Charter Provider to refund or return any such funds.
• Credit Card Transactions and Chargebacks . If for any reason, any Charter Provider is unable to provide the Charter, or any part thereof, for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against the Charter Provider, and not against Broker. However, Broker will use reasonable efforts to assist you and Charter Provider in reaching a resolution to a dispute between you and the Charter Provider. In the event that your payment has already been transferred from Broker to Charter Provider or to an escrow account, you agree that you will not seek a chargeback against Broker for such amounts transferred. You further agree to indemnify and hold Broker harmless from and against any liability, loss, damage or expense (including without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees) that Broker may incur in connection with chargebacks against Broker or under the Charter Agreement and your performance thereunder. If Broker incurs any costs, including but not limited to attorneys’ fees, to recover any payments charged back by your credit card company or other financial institution, you agree that you will be liable for these costs. If your payment is declined for any reason, you agree to settle any amounts owed to Broker via money order, cashier’s check, personal check or bank/ACH transfer immediately.
• Broker Responsibility . Broker makes arrangements with the Charter Provider. Broker additionally makes additional arrangements with other suppliers for the various components and other services that comprise your Charter (“Charter Suppliers”). Broker is not an agent of these Charter Providers or the Charter Suppliers (and the Charter Providers and Charter Suppliers are not agents of Broker). Broker expressly disclaims any liability for the actions or omissions of the Charter Provider and the Charter Suppliers. The Charter Providers and the Charter Suppliers reserve the right to refuse service to you at their sole discretion. Broker assumes no liability for the acts of the Charter Provider or the Charter Suppliers in refusing service. Broker is not responsible for schedule changes and does not offer compensation for those changes. Broker is not responsible under any circumstances for any injury or damages you may suffer, in connection with sea, air or ground transportation, hotel accommodations, or other travel or excursion services arranged by Broker.

  You understand Broker is not the source or supplier of the Charter or other travel services you requested and acts solely as a broker for the Charter Provider and the Charter Suppliers. You agree that the Charter Provider and Charter Suppliers whose names appear in the information supplied to you are those who are solely responsible for providing the Charter you purchase. You consent to and request the use of the Charter Provider and the Charter Suppliers and agree to not hold Broker responsible should any of them: (i) fail to provide the Charter or travel services you purchased, whether or not such services are listed in the Charter Agreement or otherwise, (ii) fail to comply with any applicable law, or (iii) engage in any negligent act or omission that causes you any sort of injury, damage, delay or inconvenience.

By using Broker’s services, you waive and release any claim against Broker, its affiliated and subsidiary companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents, arising out of or in connection with any loss of or damage to property or injury to any person caused by reason of (i) any defect, negligence, or other wrongful act or omission, or any failure of performance of any kind, by any Charter Provider, Charter Suppliers, or any other provider of sea, airline, hotel, ground transportation or any other travel provider connected to or otherwise associated with the Charter, (ii) any claim for inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, mental distress or other similar claim, (iii) any delayed departure, missed connection, substitute accommodation, termination of service or change in fares or rates, and (iv) overbooking, flight or other travel cancellation, lost or misconnected personal property, or any claim arising out of the air transportation portion of your travel, and (v) or any other claim arising out of or otherwise related to the Charter Agreement or services provided by the Charter Provider and the Charter Suppliers.

Excepting only liability that directly arises from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Broker, you will not hold Broker responsible for any injury, damage or loss you may suffer while on a Charter, whether incurred on the Charter or in connection with any other rental, purchase, excursion or activity, regardless of the relationship of any of the foregoing with the Charter Provider or the Charter Suppliers.

• Your Responsibility . By booking a Charter with Broker, you agree to defend and indemnify and hold harmless Broker, Charter Provider, Charter Suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any and all claims, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages, fines, penalties or other costs or expenses of any kind or nature, including but not limited to reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in connection with: (i) your breach of these Terms or the documents referenced herein; (ii) your violation of any law or rights of a third party; or (iii) your use of the Broker website.

You will review your Charter Agreement and travel documents for accuracy upon receipt. You understand that it is your responsibility to review the accuracy of all details in the Charter Reservation provided to you, and that you may contact Broker if you have any questions.

You assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of your destination(s), and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s).

You understand that Broker recommends purchasing travel insurance to cover certain risks inherent in travel such as supplier bankruptcy and the inability to travel due to a medical or personal emergency.

• No Warranties . All Charters, products, services, advice and information is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied to the fullest extent permitted under the law, including but not limited to, warranties of title or implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose. Without limiting the above, no warranty or guarantee is made (i) regarding the acceptance of any reservation request or Charter Reservation; (ii) regarding the availability of Charters, or any other product and/or services through Broker; (iii) that the use of Broker’s website will be error-free; or (iv) regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability or quality of any information, content, data, service, advice or merchandise provided by Broker or through Broker’s website.

Broker has no special knowledge regarding the Charter Provider’s or Charter Supplier’s financial condition, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel during or otherwise in connection with your Charter.

• Limitation on Liability . In no event shall Broker, Charter Provider, Charter Suppliers, and/or their respective affiliates, or any employees, agents, officers, directors, members or managers of any of the foregoing (“Broker and Charter Releasees”), be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of, or in any way connected with, your access to, display of or use the Broker’s website, the Charter or services provided to you in connection with the Charter (including, but not limited to, your reliance upon opinions of the Broker), whether based on a theory of negligence, contract, tort, strict liability, consumer protection statutes, or otherwise, and even if Broker and/or any other of the Broker and Charter Releasees have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

If, despite the limitation above, Broker or the Broker and Charter Releasees are found liable for any loss or damage which arises out of or in any way connected with any of the occurrences described above, then Broker, Charter Provider, Charter Supplier and the Broker and Charter Releasees will in no event exceed, in the aggregate, the greater of (a) the Broker Fee, and (b) One-Hundred Dollars (US $100.00).

The foregoing limitation of liability reflects the allocation of risk between the parties. The limitations specified in this section will survive and apply even if any limited remedy specified in these Terms is found to have failed of its essential purpose. The limitations of liability provided in these Terms inure to the benefit of Broker and/or its providers.

The foregoing does not affect any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

• Limitation on Time to File Claims . ANY CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM YOU MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF RELATING TO BROKER’S SERVICES OR THE WEBSITE MUST BE COMMENCED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES, OTHERWISE, SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.
• Waiver . No waiver by Broker of any term or condition set forth in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of the Broker to assert a right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
• Severability . If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms will continue in full force and effect.
• Governing Law and Mandatory Venue . The laws of the State of Florida govern the rights and obligations of the parties to this Agreement and the interpretation, construction and enforceability thereof. You agree that any action or proceeding initiated by Charterer against Broker shall be brought solely in the federal and state courts of Hillsborough County, Florida, and you submit to the jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objections to the exercise of personal jurisdiction over you by those courts. In the event any action or proceeding is initiated by Charterer in a court outside of Hillsborough County, Florida, Charterer agrees to pay Broker’s costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees associated with defending such action or proceeding and waives any and all defenses to the transfer of said action or proceeding, whether jurisdictional or otherwise, to a federal or state court in Hillsborough County, Florida.

Owner of classic sailing yacht Eros reveals the reality of life on board

Ever wondered what it’s really like to cruise on board a classic superyacht? The owner and crew of 35 metre Eros have now given viewers an inside look with a new series of YouTube videos detailing life on board the charter yacht.

First delivered in 1939 by Brook Marine , the wooden schooner boasts a colourful history and has retained many of the original, classic interior features.

The sailing yacht was formerly owned by Greek shipping tycoon Stavros Niarchos and was once chartered by the former King of Spain Juan Carlos I during his royal honeymoon. Having been meticulously maintained with a refit in 2016, Eros can now welcome up to 10 charter guests on board.

To give prospective charterers and classic yacht enthusiasts a closer look inside the superyacht, owner Cameron Riddell has created a series of YouTube videos to document day-to-day excitement and activities on board. 

Offering winter cruises in the Caribbean and summer season charters around New England, Eros is “an amazing platform for a lot of great things to happen” comments Riddell, describing “sailing races, family trips, charters and crossing oceans” as some of the opportunities offered on board.

The first episode of Sailing Eros gives viewers a virtual tour of the yacht and introduces members of the crew. Following episodes document the sailing and regatta experience on board, show how repairs are conducted on a classic yacht, and feature clips and highlights from previous cruises.

For charterers keen to know more about the classic yachting experience and what Eros has to offer from toys to itineraries, the videos offer valuable insight and insider knowledge from those who know her best.

The third season of hit reality TV series Below Deck went from strength to strength boasting the best ratings yet over 15 episodes with 49m/161ft ‘EROS’, real name luxury yacht STAY SALTY .

STAY SALTY superyacht – star of the season three of the Below Deck series

Built by US shipyard Trinity Yachts in 2008, the Owners of M/Y STAY SALTY  (ex Hunter, Mustang Sally, Destination Fox Harb’r Too)  made sure she was also looking her best and received a refit just before filming began in August 2015. The gorgeous interiors combine past and present trends, and the facilities are just as comprehensive, catering to a wide variety of guests.

And the Jacuzzi on the sun deck is the hot spot of the yacht

The Interiors

The interiors from Patrick Knowles were inspired by European spa resorts and are designed to appeal for a variety of charter purposes. As such, they offer laid back elegance that merges traditional and contemporary appeal by using Lacewood, Redwood burl and Honduran mahogany accented with satin nickel. A sharp eye will notice all the neo-classical touches throughout, from the mirror surrounds to the balustrades and the lighting fixtures.

When it comes to entertainment both the main salon and skylounge can host a fantastic soiree: There is a wet bar on both decks and the main salon has a 42″ widescreen TV with surround sound, while the skylounge has a 62″ widescreen TV along with a game table and a library. Of course, the main salon also comes with the 12-seater formal dining area.

A pair of engines gives a faster-than-average cruising speed of 16 knots and a top speed of 20 knots, letting guests make excellent time between destinations for a yacht of this size and volume.

The Exteriors

The raked bow and champagne-coloured hull give superyacht hunter a sleek modern look that will impress from afar and when additional visitors come on board for dockside events. Cocktails can be ready and waiting on the large swim platform, which is perfect for lazy days beside the turquoise waters of the Caribbean & Bahamas luxury yacht charter grounds.

Spacious aft deck are ideal for entertainment and socialising

The main deck aft is a casual outdoor environment where the group can discuss their morning around the coffee table while the professional crew creates refreshments at the indoor/outdoor wet bar.

When it comes to dining alfresco, the upper deck aft has a close atmosphere between guests thanks to the round table design, and strong lighting ensures that the area can be used even after sundown – ideal for meals at sunset followed by fireworks, or a film or sports on the widescreen TV. The group can savour a top-quality meal prepared by the expert onboard chef, who will cater to all the dietary requirements within the group. Couples looking for a bit more privacy can head forward to the loveseat on the Portuguese deck, where there’s also a table for meals together or a nightcap.

Once charter guests have explored their beautiful destination, most head to the sundeck for a dip into the forward Jacuzzi or rest on the sunpads until a lunch prepared on the barbeque grill is served in the shade. Just like the main deck and upper deck, the sundeck has a wet bar for fast and efficient service. 

The Accommodation

The generous accommodation is a tranquil sanctum that accommodates up to 12 guests across 5 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 3 VIP staterooms and 1 twin cabin with a Pullman berth ideal for children.

Upon entering the main deck Master suite there is a queen-sized sleeper sofa and en-suite bathroom enclosed in its own space. This can be used as an alternative cabin to the selection on the lower deck, or as a private lounge. The main Master bedroom farther forward boasts a king-sized bed with a widescreen TV opposite, plus plenty of seating and wardrobe space for guests who have a packed social calendar and a different gown or suit for each occasion. The en-suites have a ‘get-up-and-go’ setup in the one bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower, while the second bathroom invites guests to a long soak in the spa bathtub, as well as offering all the amenities of the first.

Retreat to a private suite after a relaxing day on board.

Guests in the VIP staterooms and the twin cabin have not been neglected either: Each cabin has a top-quality mattress and bedding, plus TV entertainment to wind down before a comfortable night’s rest.

The Water Toys

Wherever M/YSTAY SALTY travels, she takes with her a great collection of water toys from high speed to low energy to suit guests’ preferences of the moment:

Rendezvous diving is available to guests, and while cruising between destinations there is a rowing machine and exercise bike for guests who can’t wait to get out and move about.

VIRTUAL TOUR OF BELOW DECK YACHT: See Inside Season 3’s Superyacht EROS (aka Mustang Sally)

The decks have been polished, charter guests have stepped on board and the crew have no doubt had many adventures on board. It’s that time a year again - a new batch of charter guests will come aboard the motor yacht EROS (real name Mustang Sally) each week for a luxury vacation in the Bahamas. The life and work of the hard-working crew on board will be shared with hundreds of thousands of viewers who are finally treated to the brand new series of Below Deck.

"The only thing predictable about season 3 is that it is totally unpredictable," says the well-travelled Captain Rosbach, who returns with three other crew members from Season 2 (Kate, Amy and Eddie) and five new crew members to work a summer charter season on board EROS. He also assures fans of the unscripted show that there will definitely be “plenty of intense drama to go around” this year.

Sold for $17.9 million in 2013, the superyacht featured in the show is named EROS for the series, but currently charters for $175,000 - $200,000 per week (plus add-ons) in the Mediterranean and Caribbean as Mustang Sally. She was built by U.S. shipyard Trinity Yachts in 2008.

As seen in the tour above, charter guests who have vacationed in the Caribbean on EROS this summer for the series have enjoyed amenities including an 8-person Jacuzzi, ship-wide music system, outdoor bar and barbecue area and gym. Able to accommodate up to 11 guests in five modern classic-styled staterooms, her spacious layout features a lavish master suite, three double cabins and a twin cabin, with one Pullman berth.

Water toys include Waverunners, water-skis, scuba diving gear and a range of towables, with underwater lights illuminating from her swimming platform in the evenings to ensure guests of Mustang Sally can enjoy a dip at any time of day.
