Luxury sailing yacht ROSEHEARTY is the third 56m aluminium ketch from Perini and a sister ship to the earlier BURRASCA and SANTA MARIA. She benefits from the flourishing evolution of this successful series. Her stability and windward sailing performance are enhanced by a deep swing keel set within a shoal ballasted fixed keel.

ROSHEARTY sailing yacht boasts large deck spaces including swimming platform on the port side of the yacht, two separate seating areas and a custom cockpit layout with alfresco dining for 12 guests and a Jacuzzi. The fully-shaded aft deck dining and lounge area with has a large television and leads into the spacious main saloon. ROSEHEARTY Specifications

ROSEHEARTY yacht spent the winter of 2013/14 at Perini Navi's shipyard in Viareggio, Italy receiving a refit of over 2M Euro in maintenance and upgrades. She received an upgrade to her Entertainment system, Wi-Fi, Networking, Computers and Communications systems. One of her tender bay lockers was converted to accommodate 2 new Jet Skis and she received new sails and running rigging, new awnings and Covers, Umbrella, Sunbeds and BBQ on the aft deck. The passerelle was converted to allow another easy water access for swimming. The refit also included engineering maintenance, painting, and upgrading of Navigation equipment as well as new linens throughout.

Charter yacht ROSEHEARTY is maintained in exceptional condition with an enthusiastic and dedicated crew.

Luxury sailing yacht ROSEHEARTY is able to accommodate up to 12 charter guests in the following layout: She offers a spectacular interior design by Christian Liagre with Full beam owner's suite with King Bed and sitting area. There is two identical VIP suites with Queen berths, two identical queen berth cabins each with single berths and additional pullmans. Additionally there is a cabin with over and under single berths just fwd of the master, and one cabins on the main deck with a double bed, for a total of 7 staterooms.

Interior Design & Engineering

The 56-metre ROSEHARTY yacht was built by Perini Navi in 2006 as the third hull in the yard’s 56m series. Her Ron Holland-designed white hull and black tinted wraparound windows cut a sharp shape of luxury with a combination of long, lean lines, smooth curves and muscular power.

ROSEHEARTY was built for worldwide cruising and has previously navigated the Northwest Passage and Greenland. But she’s also a successful regatta winner, having placed first at the 2015 Perini Navi Cup in Porto Cervo.

The interior of the ROSEHEARTY sailing yacht is one of the rare yacht designs by Christian Liaigre and features crisp white linen sofas, Hermes leather, pale oak and ebony.

Your ROSEHEARTY yacht charter can accommodate 12 guests in seven cabins, making her the only Perini Navi sailing yacht with such capacity. One double suite can be found on the main deck beside the main salon, while the rest of the accommodation lies on the lower deck and comprises a full-beam king-size master suite, two VIPs, one double and one twin.

Yacht Facilities & Entertainment

The cockpit of the ROSEHEARTY yacht can be used as an alfresco dining space during the day or a cinema under the stars at night. If you want to bathe in the Mediterranean sunshine, you can head to the foredeck and recline across the sun loungers. Head up to the flybridge to find a raised Jacuzzi with sun pads aft and shaded steering stations forward.

If you want to keep active, you can head down to the main deck and use the portside door and swim platform for access to the ocean. If you’d prefer to workout, there’s a gym on the lower deck equipped with a treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike, rowing machine and free weights.

Toys & Crew

A crew of 10/11 will make sure your ROSEHEARTY yacht charter is exceptional.

She carries a range of water toys for hours of fun in the water. You could take out the kayaks or SUPs for some mindful paddling across the waves or use the scuba diving gear to follow the reef and explore the deeper waters. If you prefer high-speed fun, you can have a go on the wakeboard, flyboard and jet skis.

ROSEHEARTY also carries a 6-metre Novurania tender for when you want to head ashore, and other tenders may be available too.

David Hutchison

CAPTAIN-DAVID HUTCHISON Scotland/USA USCG Master 3000 Power and Sail Captain David Hutchison, or Hutch as he is known, started competitive sailing at the age of 16. Racing around the world in all the classic races on Maxi yachts and breaking quite a few race records along the way. He has also been a captain for 35 years and has over 650,000 sailing miles as captain. Hutch has captained 6 Perini’s from the 64M Felicita West to the 52M Liberty, along with 52M Squall, 49M Andromeda la Dea, the old 50M Perseus, the new 60M Perseus 3, and now Rosehearty. These boats averaged 10 weeks of charter a year, and 8 weeks of owner use. Sailing is his life and his hobby. When not working, Hutch sails on a catamaran with his chef wife Raya. He has also been the owner’s surveyor on 6 Perini new builds, but sailing and exploring are his real loves. Hutch also enjoys cycling, swimming, occasional diving, travel and reading.

VIDEO: Charter Yacht ROSEHEARTY Sails Through The Northwest Passage

Departing from Newport over two months ago, the 56m/184ft sailing yacht ROSEHEARTY has completed her passage through the incredible Northwest Passage.

Heading out through Greenland and visiting a range of incredible destinations such as Belle Isle, Victor Bay, and Peel Sound, ROSEHEARTY has returned home with more than a few stories to tell.

Indeed, her route saw her enter some historically challenging straits and her stop-offs saw her enjoying some truly far flung spots.

Exceptionally well-prepared for such an ambitious undertaking, the sailing yacht received a number of upgrades ahead of her departure, including new electronics and tenders which could be properly utilised in harsher conditions. Sea trials were also conducted well in advance to ensure durability.

As the short film shows, ROSEHEARTY provided  guests the unique experience of sailing in waters typically enjoyed by expedition yachts .

Watching her in action, it’s hard not to agree that ROSEHEARTY is one of the most impressive sailing yachts available for charter

Treated to a wholly especial private charter vacation , guests on board ROSEHEARTY played an active role in their adventure, even going so far as to gather ice from icebergs to help cool their cocktails.

When not underway, the yacht visited remote sea port communities in order to replenish supplies and allow guests to see parts of the world which are otherwise all but impossible to access.

Similarly, the assistance of a helicopter brought the party up to look out across some views which look to be nothing short of breathtaking.

Whilst the film is a resounding testament to the performance of the yacht, it should be pointed out that the Christian Liaigre designed interior establishes a wholly restful ambience, making her just as appropriate for vacations in warmer climates.

From dolphins to seals to walruses and polar bears, the once in a lifetime charter also allowed guests the chance to get up close and personal with some seriously interesting wildlife.

No doubt a captivating part of the passage, such fauna is certain to have set a particularly diverse backdrop for those out on the water.

Having undergone a refit in 2014, ROSEHEARTY has the additional advantages of modern engineering as well as a series of entertainment options for the quieter moments spent in her company.

With a total of seven well-appointed staterooms, she is capable of accommodating up to twelve guests whilst away on a private charter.
