company History

the Company Jongert has a very long and glorious history. The shipyard was founded by the Dutch Ian Jongeren (Jan Jongert) in 1953 in a place called Opperdoes . The entrepreneur launched the production in your birthday. Part of the funds for the initial stage were taken out of the prize money, which Yang had won as a professional skater.

Initially, the shipyard built small motor boat, which were the most popular at the time. In just the first seven years the company has been able to gain popularity and in the early 60s moved production on a large square in Medemblik .

80 Jongert has become so popular that production capacity was loaded at 100%, and the management has continuously expanded the staff. In 2009, the shipyard passed into the hands of a large Dutch company WeKa , but in 2015 the owner has changed again — it was Acico Yachts .

throughout the history of the Jongert gradually increased the size of their boats and today specializiruetsya on the creation of large motor and sailing yachts by individual orders.

Manufacturing

In 1998 Jongert bought a plot in Wieringermeer , which is now a modern shipyard. On an area of over 50,000 sq. m. there are two roofed industrial buildings, including offices, warehouses and workshops.

Today, the shipyard innovates, as with its own team of designers and in partnership with leading architects and studios, such as Vripack , Guido de Groot , Rhoades & Young and others.

For more than fifty years history of the stocks of the shipyard turned out over 300 ships. In our days the range of companies represented polyketone motor and sailing boats in steel and aluminum.

Jongert does not limit itself to a particular style in the design, so the portfolio can meet >expedition yachts, >the model with the flybridge or >with hardtop and semi-enclosed cabin with a modern twist. Also there are >cruising sailing yachts >luxury segment with classic design or modern style.

the Company offers a wide range of options and covers all the niches in the segment of custom boats. Each new model is not similar to the previous one, so even the most pretentious buyer can find here is unique in its kind yacht that will be a reflection of his desires.
