Comfort on deck is of paramount importance to the cruising sailor. A sprayhood will help to keep the cockpit dry and comfortable and the hatchway will be protected, allowing it to be left open for ventilation.

All of our sprayhoods are made to order; constructed using either coated Solacryl or Sunbrella Acrylic and are available in a wide range of colours. Thread options are standard Hemingway and Bartlett anti wick polyester or Gore Tenara 100% UV resistant PTFE. The design and specification of each order is discussed in detail with the client or boatyard. Construction sheets are completed to ensure all requirements are met. We have standard specifications, but the individual treatment given to each order guarantees that personal preferences and needs are incorporated.

On-board plastic patterns are taken to ensure accurate production of the sprayhood. High quality window material is used as standard. Specialist window material such as Strataglass is also available if requested. Finished hoods are fitted unless distance prevents it, in which case fitting instructions will be supplied. The boat and cover fittings used are either stainless steel or nickel plated brass. Wherever possible we will reuse existing boat fittings unless their position is unsuitable.

A new sprayhood can be manufactured to fit your existing frame or we can supply new framework. All frames are constructed using stainless steel tubing and solid stainless steel fittings. The frame bar pockets are zipped for easy removal. The aft bar has vinyl reinforcement fitted, which protects the fabric from dirt and general wear. The hood can be tensioned aft with webbing straps. An aft grab rail can be fitted as an optional extra and if required this can be leathered.

Sprayhood / Dodger - Canvas only.

Manufacturd in GREY Canvas Material. Same as new Hallberg-Rassy Yacht.

Originally the colour was BEIGE, but this canvas / canvas colour is no longer available.

Hallberg-Rassy 352 Sprayhood will fit perfectly to your boat with Original Windscreen and Original Sprayhood Frames and Fittings.

Canvas Covers to protect the Zipper both side.

Dark Blue Vinyl Protection to the aft edge of the Sprayhood (upper side only).

 Acrylic window above the windscreen as today's Hallberg-Rassy yacht are also an included feature.

Hallberg-Rassy 352 Original Sprayhood is available in 3 different models. Model M-1, M-2 and M-3.

Please check current Sprayhood for the manufacturing label and let us know your current model if possible. Please state your build No. as well as your build year together with your order. See below information on build numbers. If your build number is close to the gap where models where change, we need to pay extra attention and make sure you receive a correct sprayhood. This can be done by measuring certain parts of the current sprayhood.

General Information available is :

Model M-1 have turning knobs to attach to the windscreen. These turning knobs are supplied not mounted and the owner need to fit these when fitting the sprayhood to the boat. Model M-1 fit early boat up to approx build no. 350-365

PLEASE NOTE: It is not possible to supply the Sprayhood with the Eyes for turning knobs fixtures already fixed to the Sprayhood due to individual positioning of the turning knobs. The Eyes needs to be fixed in the process of fitting the Sprayhood to each boat.

Model M-2 have a 5mm cord to the forward edge which to slided into the top of the windscreen frame. Model M-2 fit boat with approx build no. 350-520

Model M-3 have a 5 mm cord as Model M-2. The Frames are different, which also makes the canvas different. Model M-3 fit boat with approx build no. 520 - final built boat.

Sprayhoods & Extensions

We have our own dedicated cover department and over the years have gained a high reputation for the quality of our cover work which has made us one of the South Coasts leading suppliers of boat covers.

Our Sprayhoods and Extensions are made using Sauleda Yacht Acrylic as standard available in a wide choice of colours. They are supplied with a 316 marine grade stainless steel frame and all necessary deck fittings.

We can also re-cover your existing framework.

All extensions are tailored and patterned individually so if there is something unusual you require we do our very best to supply you with a cover that will meet your requirements and that you will be happy with year after year. Back extensions can be manufactured at the same time as your new hood or they can be made to fit an existing sprayhood.
