The boat has been extensively re-fitted over the past 7 years. The present owner has owned this boat twice now, originally in 1986 from the first owner. He sold her in 1990 and the boat was moved to Glasson. In between, the boat ended up being stood out of the water for over 20 years until the present owner bought her back again in 2016. The boat was a bit of a mess and he has done an excellent job of restoring her and has spent way more than she is being marketed for. These boat details are subject to contract. Hi Does anyone have the rigging plan or details of the sail plan and rig for the Seamaster 815. I need to replace my standing rigging so would be really helpful in order to get some quotes for the materials versus getting a rigger to supply and re rig. Thanks in anticipation Nick Well-known memberYou don't need the sailplan. Just measure the length of the wires and diameter. Check the type of terminals and go on the Jimmy Green website as they have charts that enable you to work out what materials you need. Their prices will be representative and give you a bse line aginst which to compare quotes. In my experience if you get the mast down yourself and have the work done in the depths of winter a rigger will be little more expensive than buying all the materials unless you can get a trade source. Best to make sure the rigger also steps the mast and sets up the rigging so you can be sure the job is done properly. Active memberLast year I replaced the standing rigging on my Weston (28ft). I had the mast down and a local rigger took the old wires and made replacements. It all worked out cheaper than buying from Jimmy Green! The mast was re-stepped by the scrap yard's Hiab truck - the driver understands boats and didn't rush or take shortcuts. Most clubs know locals who can help out or can get a team of volunteers to help manhandle the mast. Incidentally, I unstepped the mast with a Compass hoist, but it wasn't man enough to raise it again. The tubes buckled. Rob.  Members online- Dan in Wareham MA

She has a roomy well finished interior with 5'10" headroom. There are 2 berths in the forward cabin with an infill to convert to a double. The heads are to port with a hanging locker opposite. In the main saloon the galley is starboard with a quarterberth leading aft. Opposite is seating around the cabin table which drops down to convert into another double berth. The Seamaster 815 was one of a newer range designed by Holman and Pye in 1975 with a much more modern style but retaining the Seamaster reputation for tough construction. It is a family cruising yacht, with a choice of fin or bilge keels. They have a light and quite open interior, with maximum headroom of about 5' 10".

This is a really nice example of the Seamaster 815 with its excellent record as a solid, sea going vessel. The boat has been extensively re-fitted over the past 7 years. The present owner has owned this boat twice now, originally in 1986 from the first owner. He sold her in 1990 and the boat was moved to Glasson.
